He collaborated with his manager after listening to my history of issues with another dealership and took care of the problem right away. I have an older model BMW that I had towed to the dealership after hours. The service rep called me the next day and asked was I okay for transportation and it happened to be a long holiday weekend. They offered a loan vehicle for the weekend and promptly fixed my vehicle within a couple days. I was thoroughly satisfied.
Called Monday morning for a price quote on getting work done and was told they can’t get the price at the moment so they will call me back. It’s now Wednesday and I haven’t received a call back so I call the dealership and the lady asks how to direct my call, I give her the info about calling on Monday and not getting a call back, then she hangs up on me. I’m never using this dealership.
If I could rate it a 0 than I would …. If your looking to finance this is NOT the place they don’t let you know the many features in the cars, they also go thru major banks such as wellsfargo so if you want to just take a hit on your credit this is not the place. if you get on the phone with CHAD just hang up
Im surprised with my bmw car service which I had on 03/02/2022 because I had similar service on 09/14/2021 I was asked by service advisor that need to replace rear brakes/pads, routers due to at 4mm and I didnt selected to replace recommended service.After that I didnt even go anywhere to replace my breaks pads /routers for my car.So I was in a assumption that I will be requiring to replace last time 09/14 recommended service (rear breaks pads routers) but yesterday 03/02 after I received vechicle inspection report I was surprised I dont see that previously recommended service.Im not sure which date of service is correct 09-14-2021 or 03-02-2022 to replace my car break pads ,routers.And moreover I felt like 03-02-2022 service invoice is so expensive $810.00 where I came to do an oil maintenance. And 2 concerns I asked to check as part of inspection, each concern charged separately $159.00 I dont know that was charge part of the service.Unfair just checking to see why malfunction headlight symbol is displaying- to check this charge $159.00$159 for headlight malfunction check and $159 for fuel tank concern. =$318.00 only to check two concerns.If I have 10 or 15 concerns to check , each concern $159.00 is so expensive. ( this is only to check what is going and repair cost is separate)Only labor charge total for my car was 594.20 just for oil maintenanceDisappointed on the charges without major repairs.
I went to a number of different dealerships to look for a used car. It was largely a mixed bag, but overall not a great experience. When you’re shopping for luxury cars, you expect a high level of service.I wasn’t disappointed. Erhard had really great customer service from the very first time I walked in the door. That same experience extended throughout my multiple visits. I eventually bought a vehicle from Erhard and was impressed with the customer service.
I dont bring my BMW to the dealership anymore because it is an old BMW(2004) with 100,000 plus miles on it. I did replace the valve cover gasket myself and I do prefer bringing it now to an independent BMW Auto Shop for maintenance and oil change. I have no choice for this one since I needed to have my driver side airbag and passenger side airbag replaced due to the Takata airbag recall. I picked Erhard BMW Farmington Hills to be the place to have it done when I called the BMW recall system. They transferred me to them right away and the customer service is excellent. I was able to schedule for a Saturday at 8 in the morning appointment. The service rep, the mechanic, front desk are very friendly and professional. After less than an hour the job was done. The recall is free of service but they cleaned and washed my car, too. Awesome. I would love to have an M5 someday. :) I miss driving a stick shift car.
My experience at this dealership was phenomenal. Ive been to various dealerships before of course but nothing prepared me for the reception that I got when I went there. Everyone was do nice and helpful. I was clueless as to where I was to go when I drove in but as I said already someone came to my aid shortly after I exited my car then ead me to my contact person, Chad. He was extremely down to earth and personal. Right off, I let him know that I needed a ride back to work if I left my car for service....he said, No problem!. OMG! After my car was done they picked me back up, too! I love this place, they took wonderful care of me and my car.....love, love, love them!!!!!❤️
I called Ken Foster, Service Dept. to claim a problem of my 17MY 330Xi that was something concerning the cooling system as Engine Overheated turned on after Refill Coolant warning flushed up even refilled coolant. He quickly responded with referencing a toeing company and upon arrival at the service factory, Erhard guys started the repair and all the work done within 2 days. Thank Erhard for the professional work throughout the whole process from claiming a problem to receiving a car in an excellent condition.
Ive had nothing but good experiences with the staff at Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills. I purchased my first car here last summer and was treated with the utmost respect and every detail was thought of. They made my car buying experience a breeze and were never forceful. Every question I had was answered and I felt very well taken care of. Thank you Valerie! Ever since, whenever Ive had a question about a feature within the car, their team has always gotten back to me on the same day and has been over the top helpful. I have to specially thank Chad Rossetter who is my go to person when I need service. Ive never met someone who provides better customer service, hes truly exceptional as well as the rest of the service team. Whenever I walk in I am greeted and helped right away by a team member and the service is the quickest Ive ever seen. I am so grateful to have purchased a car from Erhard and to work with such phenomenal staff because of it.
Going to a dealership to buy a car was always at the bottom of my list of things to do. In fact, I almost always bought used from private individuals just to avoid dealerships. Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills flipped the experience for me. The entire staff was friendly and genuine. From Peggy Walk at reception, who greeted me warmly with a fresh baked cookie and a smile to Valerie Bohac, my sales consultant, who provided a no-pressure sales pitch. When Valerie was off and unable to answer a question of mine, the sales manager, Rob Johnson, picked up the ball and had my paperwork ready when I walked through the door. John Moyer wrapped up my sale without trying to up-sell me on unnecessary accessories or packages.I could not figure out how to sync my iPhone so that I could play music and see artist/track info on my car’s screen, but Terrance Grant of the Parts Department walked out to my car and patiently showed me how.I was truly impressed with how they put a value on my precious time and made the whole experience effortless.Even the porter, who happened to have a birthday on the day I showed up, gladly shared a slice of his birthday cake with me. It’s the small details that the entire dealership pays attention to that will keep me coming back! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Overall, a great experience. We were having car issues, but lived out of town and were able to drop off the car for repairs without an appointment. Kendrick was awesome - friendly, efficient, and got us a fair price for the repairs. The only reason why this wasnt a 5-star review is that they didnt fill my windshield wiper fluid as a courtesy - the light on the dash was on so they would have seen that and I was expecting theyd address.
I have serviced 2 of my X3s here. Ive been very pleased with the service. Ive consistently had an experience that I would expect from BMW. Ive never met any of the people who have actually serviced my vehicles, but they are clearly masters at their craft. You can find less expensive service, but Ive found there is a differentiation which favors dealer service.
Chad and his technicians are awesome. I’ve taken my car to him a few times, after the last visit the car drives better than ever, couldn’t be happier. Chad is very straightforward and transparent when it comes to the work they do/need to do on the vehicle. I will not be taking my car to anyone else but him and his techs. Great service.
My service experience with Erhard BWM of Farmington Hills was very good. I was able to setup an appointment online and get my car in for service within a few days. My service advisor Ken Foster was very polite and responsive. I appreciated their ability to accommodate my schedule, transportation to and from the dealership, and working within a budget. I would recommend this dealership for anyone looking for honest service and professional attention.
Excellent service experience. All of my past services have been in FT Lauderdale. I have to say the Farmington Hills Service center is very professional and efficiently run. They only fix what is needed and do it well. I definitely recommend this location for service.
I had my vehicle towed into the dealership because it would not start. This was on a Friday, late afternoon. I first called the dealer to notify them. The service representative (Ken Foster) emailed me that the vehicle was there and they would diagnose as soon as possible. On Monday Ken checked in with me a couple of times and had the vehicle diagnosed by that afternoon. It was repaired early the next day and constant communication between Ken and myself was very satisfying. I thank him for great service!
I really loved the energy and friendliness we felt as soon as we walked in this place!!This was my first time buying a BMW and the staff made the experience pleasant, easy and enjoyable. Jeffrey Seit, who helped me with my purchase, went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything about my new 430 Gran Coupe - and even when it was close to closing time, he still let me test drive another car without hesitation or with any signs he was feeling impatient since the dealership was closing. He also offered to have me come back so he could show more of the features of the car! Excellent team and excellent service - they made us feel REALLY good about becoming part of the BMW family!
Had a 0930 appointment. Needed check engine light reset and a sound checked out, along with a car wash and secondary key fob tuned to the vehicle.The key fob was done in 10 minutes, it took them 3 hours to complete the process. I watched every single person that arrived after me leave before my car was ready. I was the only person waiting when I left. Turns out all my settings were erased and wasnt even made aware thats a possibility. Felt like having an appointment was pointless.Car wash was 3/5, hope you dont mind dirty/wet door jams.Overall extremely polite and professional staff, just felt neglected with a time table.
Beyond excellent experience here. They gave me more than a fair trade in value and helped me build the exact X6 M sport I wanted. I know inventory is tough to come by but they didn’t jack the price up and try to steel my trade. This is my first car from their location and will buy there for life. I wanted to let you know of my recent experience with Kayla at Erhard when buying a car. I live in Nashville and knew exactly what years and models, color, etc. of pre-owned BMW I was looking forward. I wanted a certain list of safety features and that led me to about 8 cars and one was with Erhard. Kayla answered when I called and helped me though the process. Of the 8 professionals I talked to from around the country, she was my favorite. I didn’t buy the car because there was one safety feature I hoped to get and I found a car just like I wanted that had it. But, I almost bought the car Erhard had just because I liked working with Kayla so much. She communicated with me in exactly the way I asked, - texts. She did a FaceTime walk around with me. She took the time to get some curb rash off of the tire before our walk around because she wanted it to be perfect. She took photos of all the inspection records and texted to me. She had a fantastic attitude. She was super responsive but didn’t hound me. I am not doing a review any of the other 7 sales people I talked with, not even the one I bought the car from. Most were really good, but not as good as Kayla.
Great service as always from the friendly staff at Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills. Ken Foster was is usual very helpful self and kept us informed of the progress of the service work and when the car would be ready to drive away. Been using this dealership since 2008 and never had a bad experience.
Excellent from the moment I walked in to the moment that I left. Fast efficient service and a very friendly staff throughout the entire building. The front desk lady in the lobby was amazing and very kind. Salesman Tom Kelly went out of his way to assist me with a few questions and I appreciated it. Most of all, the porter and also the clerk that helped me from thebeginning with my recall both were very kind cordial and professional. Great experience!!
Just purchased a 2022 BMW X3 today (10/30/2021) from Jeffrey Seit. I first came into Erhard about a month ago but I was not ready at the time to make a purchase. Jeffrey was extremely patient with me and never once did I feel he was doing high pressure sales tactics like other dealerships. I called Jeffrey 10 mins before closing yesterday and he found exactly what we wanted and had the X3 prepped and ready to be picked up today (Saturday) without any hesitation. I truly appreciate not being pressured at any point to make a purchase until we were ready!
I took my BMW for service at Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills. I was very satisfied with the service, I had an oil change and brake fluid change. I had a 9 am appointment and was finished by 10:30 am. Ken was my service advisor and he was very polite and helpful regarding what service work was needed for my vehicle. I am very, very pleased with my service experience at Erhard BMW.
This dealership provides a premium luxury vehicle purchase experience! My family has purchased vehicles from Erhard for more than a decade!! If you want to experience the best sales experience ever, ask for Tom Kelly! Tom is not only very educated on the vehicles themselves but he is also well in tune with the latest incentives and financing options that BMW has to offer in order to make sure you get the best deal. You will find the entire Team at Erhard with positive, can-do, customer advocating attitudes! About the only thing you have to be careful of is the speed limits on the test drives!!
Joy was fantastic to work with, I took my vehicle in for a tire/rim repair after a pothole accident. Joy took care of the replacement and warranty claim no problem, let me drove a rental car. The only thing I hoped they could have done better was not to park my vehicle under a tree next time, but thats not really a fault and I requested no car wash since my car is ceramic coated, but the tree made it extra dirty (no big deal).
Likes: Assigned service personnel for vehicle (one point of contact), very nice facilities, promptness of service request (within 24 hrs) and service turnaround (serviced under 2 hrs).Dislikes: Overall, had an equivalent if not more premium experience at a VW dealership - vehicle was always returned with car washed (without requesting) or a voucher for a car wash should dealership not accomplish. Always contacted by email by my assigned service personnel within 24 hrs to ensure satisfaction. Assuming the BMW brand premium, expected a better experience.Update Nov 2021:I recently revisited BMW of Farmington Hills for my vehicle service. I was really impressed on the updates with their facility and service department. My previous experience was mediocre at best.But they have really made strides in improvements and it shows. I was assigned another service representative -Ken Foster, who demonstrated the kind of experience a customer should have.I previously drove further to another BMW dealership for my service, but I will now use this dealership as my primary based on my customer service provided by Ken.Ken and staff really make a service call a pleasant experience.
Best car buying experience I have ever had. Ramzy Elkawa made this a five star experience. He was professional and prepared. He explained the process thoroughly and accurately every step of the way. I drove in from out of state to purchase the vehicle and found the entire staff to be very kind and courteous from the moment I arrived to the moment I drove off. Even though I am 4 hours away I will be looking to buy my next BMW from this dealership.

I was at the BMW of Farmington Hills Dealership for an oil change. When my car was returned, I was shocked to find the cover of my gearshifter ripped off and thrown on the passenger seat. I immediately notified the manager, who did adress this. However this is not the type of service I expect from BMW.
I chose this dealership because not only was I very unhappy with the Ann Arbor BMW dealership and service department, but since moving, this location is closer to my house. What a world of difference between dealerships! The service was phenomenal, professional, and fast from start to finish. I will most definitely be coming back to have my car serviced, and if I ever decide to purchase another BMW, it will be from this dealership. Thank you, Chad, as well as everyone else we encountered, for a great experience!
I worked with Jeff Seit and couldnt be happier. Everything was great, especially Jeff’s service. He didn’t pressure me into anything and I could tell he really cared about making sure everything went smoothly. He walked me through all of the BMW specific controls and made sure I didn’t have any questions before leaving the dealership. My X1 had a service engine soon light last weekend. I was able to schedule an appointment on a friday morning with Ken Foster. They also provided me with a loaner car since I needed to drive for work. My car was immediately repaired under warranty and by Lunch time I was able to get my car back. I really appreciate the customer service experience with this dealership. Ken is on of the best service advisor I have met.
Everything went seamlessly. They were right on time with my appointment for recall replacements, set me up with a loaner vehicle that was already ready for me when I got there, updated me throughout the process. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The best part is when I asked if they thought there were other things I should have done they gave me honest information in ways that saved me money rather than just saying yes and charging me for a service I didn’t need. Will definitely go there again in the future for service needs.
Please refrain going to this dealership, the sole reason I say that is because the sales manager is rude and he does not think negotiation is something he has to deal with given his job description. Steve Williams, the sales manager tells the customer ‘Maybe this is not the time to own a BMW for you’, he thinks he is better than that, definitely isn’t.Steve needs to learn how to speak to his customers in a polite manner.I now not only own one but got a better deal than he can think of at a different dealership. The sales representative are helpful though.
Our experience at Erhard BMW Farmington was wonderful. I am so happy that we found the car we were looking for on their showroom floor via the internet. Shannon Polsgrove handled everything over the phone (we are located in Ohio and they are in Michigan) and greeted us at the door when we arrived at the dealership to take delivery. Upon arrival, the vehicle was absolutely perfect, paperwork was ready to sign and we were in and out very quickly. I would highly recommend Erhard BMW Farmington if you are in the market for BMW.
Five star experience!I needed an oil change and vehicle check. It was very easy to make appointment online with Ken, who I have been working with in the past 7 years.When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by Ken and provided with an estimate. The waiting area is spacious accommodating social distance. the services were quickly done and Ken gave me couple things need to be done soon. Overall, it was very nice and professional. Appreciate such an experience during Covid 19.
I would like to share my experience with anyone that might be looking to buy a BMW from Erhard of Farmington Hills. I own and operate a modern family dairy business on the mid-west side of the state approximately a 2-and-a-half-hour drive from Erhard. I employ 15 people to help me with the work of running this agricultural business which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I, like most business owners, deal with problems and inconveniences that can rule or ruin my day. Small weather windows to get the work done before it rains, tight profit margins, and motivating employees to care enough to work hard for me and the business. I need top quality people and top-quality equipment to succeed. I know quality when I see it, feel it, and experience it which is why I bought a certified BMW 540i from Erhard. The car is top quality and a joy to drive. However, the true enjoyment came in the experience I had working with Ryan Jacobs my client advisor and Alannah, an enjoyable lady who agreed to go on the 5-hour round trip to deliver my car. From the first time Ryan and I talked on the phone at 11 am until he and Alannah delivered the car at 6 pm the transaction was smooth and problem free. The team at Erhard took care of me from start to finish without issues. Only after they left did I realize how good it felt to be on the receiving end of excellent customer service. Simply put, I experienced personal service of the finest level! Ryan Jacobs and Alannah Hendricks welcomed me into the family of BMW America and more importantly “The World of Erhard BMW. Erhard BMW in Farmington Hills has been a great place for all things BMW for us. The dealership is undergoing renovations now so the physical space is one of compromise but the staff continue to excel. They are obviously well trained, with every interaction being pleasant but not pushy the way it often feels at some (ahem, big 3) dealerships. The general manager made a point of stopping by to introduce himself even though I was just in for service.The service department seems to be very well run and efficient, with more well-trained staff and a spacious facility. My vehicle was serviced very quickly and washed.I was considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership when I found a near-perfect match for the unusual color combination I wanted at an out-of-state dealership. Due to time constraints on my end, I negotiated the deal directly with the other dealership. The vehicle was shipped to me and all was great except for one minor detail which slipped the inspection process. My local (Ann Arbor) dealership was contacted by the selling dealer and agreed to take care of the problem the very next day. When I arrived, they had no knowledge of my situation and I was told they had no capacity in their service area to get to my car for almost a week. The selling dealership was confounded and accepted my suggestion to try Erhardt BMW. An appointment was scheduled for the next morning at 9:30, I arrived and everything went as if I had been a long-time customer with an existing appointment. Job well done, Erhard BMW!
Everytime I visit Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills, the staff is incredible! Very friendly and professional. I brought my BMW in to be serviced as I had a rear wheel that was cracked. I thought I was going to have to wait several days for the part; however, they had the part in stock and got me in and out in about 45 minutes! I highly recommend BMW of Farmington Hills for all your future BMW needs. Ive been to other BMW dealers in the Metro Detroit area, and Ann Arbor, and no other dealer compares to this place!

I posted a review about unsatisfactory treatment I received from a service advisor during my service visit to Erhard. He was going to charge me to analyze a problem that began the day I had my battery changed at Erhard. I was promptly contacted after posting my review by the service manager who apologized and had me come back in for a free inspection. They found the problem, which is covered by an extended warranty. I appreciate the quick and courteous response.
Purchased a 2019 X6M “sight unseen” thru the intranet. Was looking for a 1-2 year old M with under 5k miles when I came across this X with under 100 miles! I contacted the dealership via email and the process from start to finish was completed in a few days. Most of my correspondence was done with Paul (Sales Manager) and Shannon (sales consultant). They were both very professional and transparent. I received the vehicle yesterday via transport. While the car is nearly 2 years old it is nearly flawless (just a couple rock chips on the front passenger door). I was happy with the entire process. I rate the experience a 5 star as well as both Paul and Shannon. Highly recommend this dealership!
Jim Cash was an outstanding service consultant. He was always accessible, and quick to respond to my calls. I appreciate the fact that the dealership offered a valet service which included a loaner, so I didn’t have to interrupt my busy work day to get my car serviced. Overall, I was very impressed with the customer service, and will continue to go to Erhard which is 25 minutes away— even though there is a dealership much closer to where I live!
I purchased a used CPO 2018 BMW 540i Xdrive from Erhard Farmington Hills today. I was shocked at how pleasant and helpful my sales advisor and the store sales manage were during every aspect of the purchase process. They shows lots of patience reviewing several models and the many options available with the goal of finding the car that would best fit my interests and budget. When it came time to get the purchase processed everything went smoothly and quickly, I left with the car within several hours after my test drive. Id highly recommend anyone who is interested in buying a new or used BMW to visit Erhard Farmington Hills.
I bought my 2014 X3 from Ryan Jacobs earlier this month (June 2020). He was so incredibly kind to me from start to finish. There was no slick talk, no hassle, and no hidden fees. He even came in on his day off, when it was most convenient for me, to seal the deal! he was patient and extraordinarily sweet. Im in love with my car, and very grateful to have met Ryan and the rest of the Erhard team!
Great experience! First time at this dealership. Had used another dealership in Detroit metro area ( where I bought the vehicle) but service was not great. Ken in the service department took care of everything and they did what they said they were going to do and everything was ready on time. Great service experience. Definitely recommend
While I’m happy to be able to get my car serviced during these times and grateful for the people that are still working, there was no information on how Erhard BMW is handling sanitization of vehicles on their website and there was no call about the current process and what to expect before my appointment. The service workers are not wearing masks which is also concerning. Once I picked up my vehicle, I took it for other work to an Import servicer and had the exact opposite experience. Everything was very clear and they gave me a tour of how they run their facility and showed us the sanitation process (without even asking). If you are going to any dealership right now (especially a luxury brand) you should feel like the business wants to keep their customers safe. It does not keep me feeling loyal to this dealership if the customer experience elsewhere is so much better.
Service was fantastic, easy to navigate and took care of everything as promised. My service tech even arranged a loaner for me (unexpected). All around great experience!The only reason I am only leaving 4 stars is the sudden barrage of marketing emails that I received after my service visit. I did not sign up for them and dont need 5-6 emails per day junking up my email inbox. This does not meet my expectation of a BMW dealership experience...
Purchased my first Bmw at Erhard Bmw and my experience was great. My salesman Corey was very detailed in explaining my vehicle capabilities. Corey was also very assuring with a very calm disposition, he never made me feel pressured while being very thorough during the process. Once my purchase was complete serveral employees thanked me for my time served in the military. Earhard is top notch, I truly enjoyed my experience.
Erhard BMW did its usual great job in servicing my car today. They had a brand new loaner waiting for me, got me in and out quickly for the drop off, and turned around my rear brakes replacement within a day. They also discovered and resolved another service issue expeditiously.
I was dealt a bunch of sour grapes with an N20 in an F25 catastrophic engine failure due to a timing chain guide failure @ 94K. BMW North America would not stand behind the known failure by offering any assistance but Erhard BMW Service Department did. They did everything in their power to get the price to replace the engine as low as possible. Ken F in Service was awesome and worked the price the best he could. The turn around time was astounding and they had a new engine in my F25 in 1.5 weeks including the ordering of the engine. Service rocks. New and Used Car Sales I cannot say the same for. They both only offered me $500 for trade on F25 that was worth $15K prior to the catastrophic engine failure due to a know BMW design issue on models from 3/2012-2/2015. I could have sold the headlights off of the car and got $500. Way to stand by their product. I would definitely use and recommend the Service Department but not New or Used Sales Department.
I drove to Detroit for business from Indianapolise for business. My 2003 low mileage 760 IL had a fule problem on a friday night. i was in the dealership on saturday. Jason Betts was on it, communicated every step of the way. Fixed me up a couple of days later and I was on my way. Awesome Job! Thanks again!
Went in for an oil change. They decided to just go ahead and flush the brake fluid on our 2018 X3 without asking, saying its something they do Every 2 years. We didnt have any break service done and there was nothing wrong with our brakes. We didnt ask for this service. Manager was persistent and wouldnt give back the keys without payment. $500. Rip off scam.
I am very pleased with Chads’ service team at BMW of Farmington Hills!I purchased my 530e a few years ago from a another dealer, and had nothing but problems, so I decided to take a chance with this dealer. I’m glad I did!Even though I did not purchase my BMW from them, they offered me their Home Valet Service.They arrived at 9 AM to pick up my car (the driver was wearing a mask and cloves). He left me the key for the loaner, and drove off with my car. Nothing to sign! Wow, these guys are amazing!They called me about 3 PM that same day, to tell me everything went fine, and the driver should arrive in about 45 minutes with my serviced car. He lied, he arrived in 50!All in all, I am extremely pleased with this dealer, and know where I’ll be purchasing my next BMW!
I went into Erhard to test drive a few cars in my search for a new vehicle. The sales staff I encountered was very professional and did not pressure me to try and make a sale at all. I went back multiple times during my search and worked with Matt Craven and he has been the best car salesperson I’ve ever encountered. He is very professional, low pressure, and pleasant to work with. He did a great job following up with me and helped make my buying experience smooth and easy. I highly recommend this dealer, Matt and his manager Rob.
My technician Joy was very informative and helpful.I have 4 stars based on my only complaint...I’ve been to this dealership three times...I’ve walked around the lot directly in front of the building upon dropping off and picking up my vehicle for maintenance...and not one time has a salesperson approached me to ask questions or inquire if I’m looking to purchase (which I am)... I’ve experienced this at several dealerships and it’s disheartening. I don’t know if maybe I don’t look the part or what but I would approach anyone looking to see if they needed or wanted help.

Was a great experience, treated me and my older 2011 BMW as if it were new off the showroom floor. Other brand car dealerships normally dont pay you a seconded look unless youre buying a brand new vehicle. The Service manager definitely appreciated my love for my older but not less classy BMW convertible and did everything to make sure I was happy and confident with the repairs. No hesitation giving 5 stars to my experience with everyone I came into contact with at Erhard BMW of Farmington.

I received a recall notice for my 2008 135i. I scheduled an appointment easily online for a day and time that worked best for me. The dealership also put me in a loaner vehicle as a goodwill gesture while the recall work was being done. Ken Foster did a great job as my service advisor to keep me updated on the status of the repair being performed. The work was completed in a few hours and the car was returned to me in the same condition I dropped it off except for an external wash that shined it up during our Michigan winter. In the eleven years since I purchased my 135i through them I have never experienced any issues or concerns with Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills.
The work was done quickly and professionally. I highly recommend their service department.May 7, 2020 - I wrote the above a couple years ago. From then to my service today they have continued to be excellent.October 15, 2020 - my review is the same. I would add that Ken Foster is an excellent service advisor. I dont write reviews often but made an exception this time to give credit where credit is due. My experience last week with Jim Cash and the Erhard organization was exceptional. In my prior life I was a Service rep for Ford Motor Company and I know what happens when customers dont get exceptional service. I congratulate the management team for clearly understanding the value of satisfied customers, establishing a plan to execute and ensuring the plan works.
I work mostly with Jason Betts (and at times Chad Rossetter) with my 2018 X5d (prev. 2011 X5d). 5 Star rating based on their willingness to work with me, accommodate my busy days/weeks, and make sure im well taken care of with service, maintenance and repairs. It is the first time that I took my car to Erhard BMW and was for a regular oil change. I booked the appointment online. When I arrived they were expecting me, car was set up in system and Jason explained service to be done and gave me cost estimate. Car was done within an hour, washed and vacuumed, inspection report explained and all set. Even so they update their showroom and there was some construction, waiting area was nice. Overall price was what I expected and in line with others. Can strongly recommend
I took my 535i In because of a brake alarm light and an engine alarm light. By the time I arrived at the dealership, the engine light was gone. It turned out that I needed brake pads and I was taken care of relatively fast after making an appointment and obtaining a loaner car. Everything was fantastic!

The service writer and team were well coordinated with the technicians. The issue with my car was clearly explained up front, there were no surprises. Erhard BMW, Farmington Hills, has been the dealership of choice for my husband and I for over 12 years. Their white glove approach is impeccable. New Car Sales Manager Steve Williams (my original client advisor) and my new client advisor, Kurt Hagemann, made me feel like the only client at the dealership . And Assistant Finance Manager Alannah Hendricks made the signing quick and painless.
I brought my car into service to have a reverse light bulb replaced and inquire about a melting dashboard piece near the hazard light button.Chad was my service person and he was very rude and off putting. He never called me back concerning the replacement of the car part that was damaged. The replacement cost for the damaged part is $268. It appears there is a defect in the car part, as it melted from exposure to the sun.Chad was insistent on blaming me for causing the damage and did not listen to what me or my husband had to say.Ive been to the Erhard Farmington location and the Bloomfield location for service and the Bloomfield location provides excellent service every time, while the Farmington Hills location continues to disappoint.
I have never experienced a better dealership than Erhard BMW. I recently had my vehicle serviced at the Farmington Hills dealership and it was top notch. My Service Advisor, Ken Foster, was very courteous and thorough and went above and beyond by taking care of an item that should have been performed while my vehicle was still covered under the maintenance warranty. When a customer gets treated like that why go anywhere else? Im a customer for life.
Always an amazing experience being there! Perfect customer and car services! I went there for a single tire change, but they notices I needed both, and since my oil change was almost due, they did that also. And everything in less than the estimated time for my tire change.
Purchased (multiple) cars at another dealership and got fed up with poor service. Earhard FH is near my office so decided to bring it in here for check engine light and oil change. Service is fantastic. No hassle in re-scheduling original appointment with loaner. Service required additional couple of days to get part - Kens communication was great and on point. Enthusiastic recommendation to use these guys.
We took our car in due to the water pump recall and oil consumption issue. Our service rep Jim C. was very good with communicating to us the diagnostics and what they would be able to do for us. They gave us a loaner for the duration of the time of the repairs and the work was great!
Wish there was a zero star. Took my car into it for an oil change and it was returned to us with a hole in the front bumper and damage to the undercarriage. No one at the dealership even bother to mention it and it was the first time my wife and I saw it. No documentation by the dealership on the damage. You would think someone at the dealership would walk around the car to inspect its condition. This is first time a dealership has not told me about an existing damage. I have no way of knowing whether the damage was there beforehand or done at the dealership. What I do know is that they (employees) drive the cars around the lot aggressive and this is the first time in the 5 years Ive been with BMW that Ive had this type of experience. I typically stick to Ann Arbors dealership; I should have kept with that route. This was my first time at Erhard Farmington with this car. I wasnt very happy with their response either: file with your insurance company. Acura has been telling me about my damage fog light for each service for 5 years on my 2012 RDX and they even offered to replace it last month free of charge. When my AC broke in the Acura, they replaced without charge even though it was 1 year out of warranty; no hassle involved. Thats what customer service looks like.
I never thought I would be able to buy a BMW but hard work paid off and a BMW was now possible. Im very happy I chose Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills to experience that first time purchase. I chose Erhard because they had several different options for me to look and test out. The bonus was an outstanding salesperson in Jeff Seit that made the process safe, comfortable and dare I say enjoyable with information on all the dials and functions with an easy humor. Ive already recommended him and this dealership to others I work with and will continue to do that while I enjoy my first BMW and the supreme driving experience if gives.
Negotiating price with new car sales department manager is horrible. I bought the exact car I wanted from a different Dealership (Ann Arbor) for lower price than my declined final offer I gave at Farmington. Client advisor Kurt seemed nice but Im not sure how much honest he was with the whole process. Overall not happy at all. Hopefully service department is better than sales but with the buying experience I had not sure If Ill return. If youre looking to buy new car with a good deal go elsewhere.
Jim checked me in and I receive great turn-around time as well as quick notice of the status of the completion. Service also clipped a wire in the steering wheel heating element that was heating too high for safety. All for no charge as I am giving this car to my daughter for a southern USA move. Very efficient, friendly and quickly timed.
Kayla was super helpful in showing me the vehicles I was interested in and provided a zero-pressure buying experience. Everything was straightforward and there wasnt anything hidden about the purchasing the car or the car itself. BMW Farmington has the most cold, unprofessional, condescending and RUDE staff Ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with, and Ive dealt with other BMW dealers nationwide for years. This dealership absolutely will mislead you to make a profit. Id give negative 100 stars if possible, and this rating applies to both sales and service. Avoid learning the hard and expensive way and check out the one star reviews for the truth about this poor excuse for a dealership. It shames the reputation of the BMW brand.Update: This review has nothing to do with the attempt at charges and everything to do with the manner in which I was treated. Spare me the false platitudes. Your dealership is a disgrace, and BMW NA will investigate and deal with you all from now on. Im happy to continue to support other BMW dealerships that represent the brand correctly with their level of service.
They consistently fail to complete the job. Over 90% of the time, I pick up the car and its the little things they ALWAYS forget. I feel they do not listen to customers and pay attention to the little details. Theyre armed with excuses all the time. The Finance Dept. is VERY unethical! Sales nickel & dimes you and are frustrating to deal with compared to other dealerships. DO NOT fall for the extra cost of rim protection and 3M treatment. Its all a scam for more money to them from you.
I had a great experience dealing with the service team at Erhard Bmw of FH. Chad was very quick to process my recall request and provided me with all the necessary documentation and also provided me with useful information regarding my vehicles maintenance. To top off my experience, they threw in a complementary car wash that I felt wasnt even an obligation on their part. Every member of the dealership I interacted with was very cordial and professional. Id highly recommend this dealership for any service or purchases.

Terrific customer service! I purchased my vehicle from Erhard back in February, and this was my first time there for service. The team is very thorough and prompt. Its great to see that some companies still value their customers and go out of their way to provide top-notch customer service.
No one told me that I gather points for $ spent on the service. I had a $50 worth points expired before my service which I was not able to use. It is customer service representatives duty to explain offers and services during the appointment which seemed lacking on this facility. I am inclined to change my BMW service center next time.
Ramzy was excellent! Great customer service helping us before, during, and after our purchase of a 2010 528ix! He definitely went above and beyond our expectations! I visited Erhard BMW in order to address a recall on my vehicle. I was able to drop the vehicle off in about ten minutes and received a call to pick my vehicle up earlier than expected and repaired to my standards. I first arrived and the gentleman did not know why I was there (I made an appt). After speaking to him very briefly (as he wore his mask around his chin, apparently the chin is how COVID is transmitted), he took my car. I received no updates while I waited. However, I was able to help another customer who was looking for an employee but could not find one. When I went to pay my bill another gentleman helped me. I asked if I could see the invoice, he hesitated and handed to me (he was in a rush). I stated that the bill was higher then what I was originally quoted. He looked at the invoice asked me what I was quoted. I told him. He literally scoffed and tossed the invoice back down. When done he said youre all set. I go well is there an form that shows what was done? Can I take the one in front of you. He let me take the receipt. I called the original person I dealt with, he did not call me back. However, he did send an email saying there were concerns about my car. Maybe he could have told me before I left? Now my car says it was due for service last month. I had the pleasure of working with Ramzy from the used inventory department, and it was a great experience buying my first car. The service was friendly and quick, any questions I had were answered as quickly as possible and there was no anxiety or pushiness. Overall I would definitely recommend Erhard BMW to anyone looking for a great experience buying a car.
Just bought a car there four months ago had tons of problems with it suspension‘s three bent rims have to change the brakes all ready. Tons off hidden scratches ripped and pealing leather that were covered up.Paid 40,000 for the car after closing fees and tax and title it’s been a nightmare, Then I went to turn the car in to get a newer car they only wanted to give me 20 thousand for it. It hasn’t been 4 months since I purchased it there the manager there has no Customer service he only care about there bottom line. If I can put no stars I would.
It was a great experience buying another car from Erhard. But I am really not happy with issues which I got with my car. It was certified but after 2 months of use, my car did show rear brake pads change, vehicle service and oil change soon. I was in impression that at-least certified vehicle will be good for 6 to 12 months without any service requirements but it looks like its not the case. I recommend run the vehicle Check before buying certified.
Good friendly service as always. I went in pretty certain that I had a bigger problem than I did so I really appreciate the honesty that saved me a good amount money. Mask wearing was pretty relaxed but most people seemed to be wearing them if it makes a difference to you before you go.
My experience was amazing from start to finish. I started with an inquiry online and requested Ramzy based off of his reviews. He was patient, took his time, and more importantly listened. He didnt push me to make a purchase outside of my comfort zone. John, in finance was very patient with me throughout the process, as well. I added on two other items to my monthly payments and he had no issues re-printing papers and explaining my paperwork (even after 3 different rounds). I would recommend anyone to this dealership! Ill definitely be back when I need an upgrade.

I had a pretty good time there. The service advisors all the way to the sales people are very friendly and easily approachable. My car needed an oil change and some other maintenance and I was able to receive both in a timely fashion. My only issue is the vacuuming of the inside of the car not as clean as I like it but not bad at all.
Val Bohac was a pleasure to work with. She was very attentive and responsive, as we did most of the deal via email/text. I let her know exactly what was important to me, and I drove away in exactly what I was looking for, and for the payment I was comfortable with. Highly recommend working with Val, and Erdhard BMW of Farmington Hills. I have worked with 3 other BMW dealerships in my past; this one is by far the greatest.
Fine dealership. Been there couple of times for service and both times got in at scheduled appointment time and got out by there estimated time. Did not try to add stuff to do with the car. Car washed at the end. Nice waiting area. Easy online appointment. Recommended.

Ive bounced between a few of the awesome customer service representatives but found Ken to be at the top of the mountain.Both Erhard representatives are highly recommended to seek out if you are looking to purchase or need service on your BMW.You wont be disappointed.
Weve purchased from Erhard now 3 times, and this time by far was the best. We had a fantastic experience working with Ramzy Elkawa. He was patient, took time to educate us on the different models and history of each certified pre-owned we were considering. It was the most transparent sales experience we have ever had. Ramzy is first-class. Erhard and BMW are lucky to have him represent their brands. And the car is of course beautiful. We highly recommend this dealership for purchasing and service.
I need to edit my initial review. I did have a bad first experience but the sales manager, Rob Johnson, went above and beyond to correct everything for me. They fixed everything in a timely manner and still took care of every little detail and then some. They kept me updated each day with the status of my car and absolutely made sure that I was happy with the end results. I highly recommend this location as well as dealing with Rob Johnson. Ken was very helpful in getting the oil changed quickly and the vehicle washed very well. Great job.Only problem I had is filling out the $25 special offer material. Very cordial and knowledgeable staffs . I dealt with Tom who was very good and patient towards my questions and concerns on features of cars. Tom suggested a vehicle as per my need and budget and guess what, I could get something with most of my preferred features with a suitable price. One thing we have to do our own research as much as possible and staffs will show the guidance accordingly. I see an area of improvement , Staffs should show they have time and space for a customer instead of showing they are too busy in a day which actually they are but still that may discourage a customer to become more comfortable towards their questions. Except that service was best here.
This was my first visit to Erhards service department and I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. My salesperson Mike set everything up including having a great loaner for me to drive while my car was in service. Chad took care of what I needed to have done in a timely manner and I am more than happy with the results.
The Erhard BMW of Farmington Hills is a very personal dealer. My sales rep Everett was very knowledgeable. The treatment that I received was top notch! I would recommend this dealer! I bought a Z4 and Everett was very helpful with all the features and offered various options prior to my purchase!
Everyone at Erhard is super friendly and easy to work with. Ive always been great promptly and taken care of. The ONLY reason I didnt give all 5 stars is the prices for car repairs is very expensive according to the comparisons Ive done. If youre car is under warranty Erhard is fantastic!

I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that once you step in the door you are greeted with a smile from helpful and friendly staff. I was then introduced to Anthony Valenti who helped me by first educating me on the latest BMW SUV X-series and the whole time…made me feel very comfortable. I didn’t feel intimidated or anything. Anthony Valenti was a gem from the moment he introduced himself until the moment he waved at me as I was driving away with my new vehicle. Mike (the Finance Manager) was very professional and kept up that same momentum of helping me to feel comfortable by explaining each line item on the agreement in great detail. These guys helped grant me my longtime dream of owning a BMW and I will absolutely NEVER forget my experience there at BMW - Farmington Hills. 2022-03-26Corey was very diligent, courteous, and professional. On the day of the purchase, I was in and out of the dealer in less than one hour. 2022-06-13I had coolant leaking pipe fixed that was covered by CPO warranty. Fantastic service. If Ken Foster is not the best service advisor, he would be one of the best. I choose this dealership even I have to drive 10 minutes more to get there than the ann arbor one.

But the icing on the cake was the very thoughtful gesture offered by my salesperson Kyla, upon inspection of the back seat I noticed that she had supplied me with a few road snacks for my long journey back to Houston.
