Rented two jet skis from here for my wife kids and myself. Staff was very friendly and helpful. reserved online about a week before we arrived and had no issues. Easy 20 minute walk around and instructions and then your off for fun times. Lake charlevoux is gorgeous and calm👍

Took my 9 yr old daughter out on the water and we both had a blast. Was easy rental, took 5 minutes and we were on the water. She had fun jumping off and swimming and did great learning how to steer. I highly recommend- it’s right in the main part of town and great service- Joshua was great to rent from!
Kate took care of us from the start. Maggie helped her through quite a bit too. Josh was pretty helpful as well. We had a great time on the water. Very clean and very professional. I highly recommend this great time on lake Charlevoix! If you haven’t rented from this place, you need to!
Called ahead because we weren’t sure if they’d be open, josh answered the phone and was super helpful in walking us through our options for the day. Got to the dock and Sarah helped explain everything to us and send us off. Boats are clean & in good shape, have good sound systems that are Bluetooth capable. We had a blast. Kind management & good value for the money. Would use again!

We rented a jet ski and toured almost the whole, beautiful lake in 3 hours. Had a great time and will do it again. Been vacationing in this area for 50+ years - it is gorgeous! Thinking of selling my boat so I dont have to tow it up here and just rent from them when I want. The ski worked great. The staff was excellent.

We rented jet skis and had an exhilarating time on the lake. Water was calm and the hour went by quickly. Kids had a blast. A little slow at check in, otherwise staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Enjoyed our ski boat rental. Staff was attentive and friendly. They went through boat operations and safety with those that planned on driving. Set us up with the equipment we wanted and let us come back to swap equipment part way through our rental. It was a bit expensive. However, the family enjoyed it and it was the highlight of our trip so I would say it was worth it.
Absolute worth it. The staff was very friendly and professional. We got a tritoon with more than enough power for water sports. Boat was clean and in perfect condition. Price is ok and we could even extend our rental for 50$ after calling from the lake. I will be back this summer. Thanks for the amazing experience

Awesome place and great people. Right on the water, easy walking distance from condo in Boyne. We rented a paddle board one day, and a pontoon (The red one) with tubing and water skis today. Pontoon was modern and new and tons of fun for us and kids. Super friendly staff that let us switch from a 2 person to 3 person tube. Even short staffed today, everyone was super friendly and helpful, and went out of way to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend, and will be back again to rent from them in the future.
Great experience!! Rented the 200 hp Tahoe tritoon. 6 adults, 5 kids. Plenty of power to pull the tube behind it. Awesome boat, but what stood out was the high level of customer service. Second summer in a row that we rented from Boyne Watersports. Well be back next year for sure. 100% recommend them!!
We want to personally thank Boyne Watersports and the staff that helped us today. We surprised our sister with a day on the lake of swimming, fishing and just relaxing as she prepares to be married in a few weeks. The staff were very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know. The boat was fantastic and we had an absolute great time. We definitely will be back. Great boat rental outfit in Boyne City. Tritoon was spotless and ran impeccably. We were dispatched without a tow rope for our tube. One phone call and ten minutes later one arrived via jet ski to where we were swimming and relaxing. Great attitudes from all employees.
Exceptional Experience. Not only was the Tritoon boat we rented in immaculate condition this past week, but the staff and rental process itself was 5-star. Considerate, helpful, patient, and efficient...Nothing beats when companies serve their guests with true hospitality. I have been coming here for two years and we rent the Pontoon for two hours with a great price. We have a good time thanks to Allie and Joshua for making sure we get out there safely and have a great time. They are very considerate and always make sure there customers are happy and satisfied!!!

A+ boating experience. We rented a pontoon for 4 hours on a Saturday. Staff was super helpful with instructions and quick with paperwork. The boats are all very clean and appear to be newer with modern electronics including bluetooth stereos.Would highly recommend!

Great location. Wonderful boats. But the staff is what really makes Boyne Watersports the place to go for rentals. We had a toddler who kept changing his mind about getting onboard. The staff was nothing but kind and patient.

Had a great time on a 4 hour Pontoon rental. Make sure you ask how to refuel...found out at the end of the trip we were supposed to refuel prior to coming in. I was told on the phone the hour in between was to refuel and clean the boat-otherwise great equipment and very helpful and friendly staff! Great day!

Used their services for a bachelor party. The boat was kept well and the price was decent for thw quality of boat you were renting. the employees took there job seriously. The guy that was explaining us the rules never got to the 2nd rule!! They were all no. 1 which we had a good chuckle about. Overall good experience

Ali and Meg desperately need a raise, they were very informational and nice to talk to.only $35 for 2 hours for 1 person, which is quite a good deal.you can go wherever you want, and its a nice experience when youre with friends/fam.You can go out far on your own and just relax/tan a bit without worrying about anything.Boats will avoid you and make big waves to challenge your balance :) overall a very fun and laid back experience!Oh and Josh needs a raise, too!

We rented a tri-toon and tubing equipment on Monday and were extremely impressed with the professional and positive attitude of your staff. Great staff with a very very booked place. BOOK WAY IN ADVANCE. You do not need a boaters license to drive the boats & they give you a safety/drivers class before you go.

We made a reservation and showed up early and was told to wait until our time slot, they had walk up and sent out jetskis and then we couldnt go due to overbooking. Complete BS! EDIT-- Josh reached out to us and made it right. He gave us a free rental to make up for their mistake in overbooking. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be recommending this place to friends and family. The overbooking was do to a system glitch. Josh went above and beyond

We went out as a group, my friends, including their kids. The pontoon was in poor condition, and we were only given a quarter tank of fuel. The employees seemed to not care when we brought this issue upon them. Wish I could say I had a better experience.

Well lets just start by the first time I called , I think Josh awnsered...may be one of the best customer experience I have had...this place was top notch and did a excellent job checking me in and sending us off...but the main thing that caught my attention was how friendly the staff was..I could of got a pontoon cheaper but Im so glad we didnt waste our time., Ill definitely be back..you just dont get service everywhere like this... so Im so appreciative for this..thanks to everyone...GO State!!

Our family rented a boat from Boyne Watersports in July for a trip around Lake Charlevoix. All was fine until we ran over the rope from the waterskies. The entire rope wrapped around the propeller shaft and could not be budged, despite my husbands underwater diving efforts. We called the rental office and they sent a boat out to get us while workers worked to dislodge the rope. They tried all afternoon while the boat was still in the water, and ultimately had to tow the boat back to shore and drydock it. Thankfully, they cut the rope and the propeller was not permanently damaged. In the end, manager Mike didnt charge us one dime extra: not for the labor; not for the lost time in renting the boat to other customers. We were so grateful, as the trip was cut short and I was so worried about escalating costs. Next time were in Charlevoix, we will definitely rent a boat again from Boyne Watersports—no waterskies this time.
Rented a pontoon last summer and 2 weeks ago, no problems other than our pontoon broke down and they promptly showed up with another. Rented a jetski Labor Day weekend. Storms in the forecast. Called them twice beforehand talked to Josh who was really non-commital about anything. Picked it up right before the storm hit. Made it to Young State park but needed to take shelter, streak lightning etc. No anchor or rope provided. It stormed for 2+ hours out of our 6 hour rental. I called about getting an anchor and rope Josh said to come by and get the anchor. We drove the jetski back and no one was there. We drive back to Young State Park and it begins to rain again. I call and ask where they were and for a possiblecredit and Josh apologized and says we can keep it longer but I suggest a credit. Turned it in on time. All they cared about is if you are going to tip them. Then I get a $55 charge on my credit card for Im not sure what, possibly gas. Drove the jetski 2 hours or less due to weather paid for 6 hours. We have rented Jetskis in the past from Summertime rentals, anchor and rope provided.Update: Josh called me and gave me a credit for the time missed during the storm and our trip back to get a anchor and rope. We have rented from them numerous times, this was our first time that things didnt quite work out largely due to the weather. Thanks for making this right Josh and Boyne Watersports.

Every Summer we return to Boyne Watersports. We love taking out one of their tritoons with friends. Im impressed with their prices for how awesome their equipment is. Our next visit we are going to rent a 3 person tube. I recommend you rent a tritoon over a pontoon because they ride so great on the days that have bigger waves. I also highly recommend making it all the way up to Charlevoix and checking out the draw bridge in Round Lake. Round Lake connects to Lake Charlevoix.

2021-09-08Friends rented a pontoon boat for a week. Great Times! Will Definitely do this again. Very Comfortable, seats 16. Gasoline for boat available right on Lake Charlevoix, Amazing days of boating, looking at Beautiful homes that we couldnt afford. Swimming, boating, fishing and pulling a tube. What a Blast!!

2019-05-27Very friendly people, and the best valued rentals. Tried Kayaking and jet skiing, on this clear water, apart from the cold water, every thing else is wonderful. Very scenic lake with beautiful water, great views and greenery all around. You can surely enjoy kayaking on this little rocky water. Just row to middle of the water and rest their for awhile to feel the serene water and beautiful sun on your skin! I highly recommend this location and skiing on these waters, if you haven’t tried it yet.

2022-06-28Custom service was uncooperative and rude. Charged us an absurd amount of money for two boat days we could not attend. Sue had an incredibly vulgar attitude and was extremely unhelpful. I would not recommend renting from this company.

2019-09-25Affordable price for jet ski rentals and accommodations to let both us parents take turns riding with our son. He had a blast here and thats all that matters to me. Very pretty area and town. Jet skis were nice and new. Had no problems with it. We had to wait for an opening since rentals were booked, so we walked down the street to swim at the small beach for a couple of hours till there was an opening.

2017-06-14Had a good time since two families with kids can do best boating in Pontoon. ;-) and at the same time enjoy music and ice cream on boat ...:-) Pricewise we had to come up with mutual understanding and it worked well. Boat was brand new with all detailed instructions provided by staff. Surely, next time would like to do jetskiing...Thanks for nice experience.
