Comment: I don’t normally write reviews, but in this case I believe Brad’s Valero deserves recognition. My wife’s jeep needed major work, which consisted of a complete engine replacement. Brad and his team were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The Jeep now has an extended life and is running smooth. Brad is a no BS kind of guy and will tell you what needs to be done. There wasn’t any push for unnecessary parts or services. Our experience was nothing short of stellar. Good mechanics with integrity are in short supply these days, so when you find one, support them and spread the word. Brad’s Valero has earned one more loyal customer. Thanks to Brad and his team for the great work!

Even with more complex issues, he’s never misdiagnosed a problem or upsold me on anything that was not needed. Comment: Went inside to pay cash for my gas at 8:05 pm and the guy working is on the phone waving his hand at his neck like “kill it” and says “we are closed in here” it says open until 10pm on here. If you close at 8pm updated your hours of operation and lock your doors at 8pm. It’s bad enough you don’t take cash for gas after you’re closed!!

Comment: Tried to pump gas at midnight. Lights on, pumps on, authorizations placed on cards, but no gas pumped. Pumps seemed to be turned off with no warning to customers? Wasted 10 minutes. Good thing functional AM/PM is across the street.

Comment: A good friend of mine recommended Brad. I had a problem with my car and walked in. In the middle of the day when he was very busy(without an appointment) he put aside everything just to come test drive my car to see what was wrong with it.He spent a good half an hour to try to diagnose the problem. Not only was he very nice and professional but very knowledgeable as well. If you need your car serviced please do not hesitate to pay him a visit.

Comment: Great place for car repairs. Ive been taking van and Jeep here for about 5 years and his work his honest, fair and affordable. Brad will tell you straight up whats wrong and not try to roll up the charges to make $$$. Get there early though cause he gets busy.

Comment: Needed an oil change, new brakes and possibly rotors for my car. Brad checked over all of my brakes and rotors, and turns out I only needed the front brake pads replaced and one rotor machined. I appreciated the professionalism and honesty. He was also able to get me in same day. I can recommend his shop and will return. Great service.

Brads has changed my opinion...true old school mechanic and service with no upsell BS or bait and switch. The few times I took my vehicles to another local mechanic out of proximity and convenience Ive regretted it. I recommend Brads to all.

Comment: WE LOVE BRADS!! ..my husband Max and i have been going to Brads since it was Brads Exxon..we still have our yellow t-shirts w the tiger on the back, actually! lol!! We continue to go here for gas as well as for any mechanical needs we have for our vehicles. Hes very respectful, honest, hardworking, we love that he uses OEM parts and prices are more than fair. He always goes over everything with you so you know exactly whats needs to be done, how long it will take, etc.. In fact the entire staff is wonderful, always polite! WE RECOMMEND THEM VERY HIGHLY!!THANX BRAD!! = ]

Comment: Went to them with a non major transmission issue at the time and was told theyll pass on working on it because some other mechanic had worked on it before (vehicle has 180k mi, I hope its been serviced in that time). One week later before I could find another reputable shop locally, transmission completely burnt up all clutch packs, Torque converter was ruined and needed to replace entire thing. A $6-700 job ended up costing me 10x that.

Comment: The reviews say this place is honest...ha! Would you be upset is you got quoted 1 1/2 hours labor on your estimate to install a car part and then it only took them 15 minutes. You get your bill and the 1 1/2 hours charge is the same. What a rip-off!! They basically said, pay the bill...no adjusting the amount...thanks thieves...never again!

Comment: Lexus LS400, 1991, auto repairs $12,000.00 cash and before warranty expired...had to hire an attorney, in an attempt to mediate disputes. My car has been ruined--runs so bad, that I have been stranded and over a hundred miles from home, AAA Roadside had to tow car back home. Brads Valero has caused several other mal-functions from sloppy work and made serveral Unauthorized repairs along with charges for work NEVER performed. It is a legal battle that has been ongoing--no relief, waiting for justice to prevail!
