Bravo Italian Kitchen in other cities:
First time visit. White linen tablecloths and linen napkins are a welcoming ambiance. I tried the Spaghetti Bolognese and was jealous for the sauce. It was 5 stars for me. Been trying to duplicate that in my own kitchen. Lol. The bread basket was warm and delightfully hinted of herbs and was accompanied by a dish of oil. The entree arrived on a seriously hot plate. I can handle up to 140F but could not touch this plate. I was impressed. So why not 5 stars? Waitstaff. Seems like management was having a struggle. Our first waiter took our order but I noticed was reassigned to tend bar. The replacement waiter only dropped the food off and was never seen again. No one checked to refill the glasses or the bread basket. Also the couple next to us was overheard asking a passing waitress if they knew who was their waiter/waitress. She said that she would find out. She came back and said she couldn’t but that she would be their waitress. So that ended well for them. Oh one tip might be helpful. Call ahead and make reservations. Just Walking in is not welcoming. Enjoy.
We eat at the Livonia MI location. Food was good. Server was good. The inside is worn, carpet and furniture. The temperature inside was about 82 degrees and I spoke to a hostess and she said she know how hot it was and she didn’t think the manger would do anything. No air was even circulating. So I spoke to the manager who gave me excuse after excuse. She was ‘trying’. I was using my napkin to wipe my sweet of my face, head and neck. Never going to any restaurant owned by this company
First time experience was a let down! Busted in there happy to dial in on their complimentary bread and oil. They were “all out” and didn’t make any attempt to make up for it. The cocktails took awhile to get out (place was essentially empty). 3 is for the good spirited server and the actual meals were good!
Came in on a Monday night with my niece. Stood at the host stand with many workers walking by and serving their tables but not even greeted for a good 7 minutes. Then when I believe it was the manager greeted us she didn’t even say how long it would be just that there’s a couple before us and to have a seat. Waited another 10 minutes and decided to leave. Many empty tables in the restaurant and the phone ringing off the hook. I understand that being understaffed happens but at least respect the guests time and let them know that you all either can’t take any more people or how long it’s going to be.
We had no reservation but we were seated within 20 mins of arriving. Our servers name was Tay, and she was extremely helpful, fast and efficient. They had a staff shortage, so they set the expectation that food would be delayed, but I personally couldnt tell because our food came out within 15 minutes of ordering. Food was delicious, hot, shrimp cooked perfectly. I hate they closed the Bravo in Ann Arbor, but I will definitely visit the one in Livonia again. Great experience all the way around.
Unfortunately this was a miss for our family. My son-in-law ordered the Shrimp scampi, but the pasta was overcooked. I had the Salmon dish which was delicious except the vegetables were a tad overcooked. My Caesar salad was blah....something that youd expect from a fast food place. Sorry Bravo, we werent impressed.
Such a let down. Walked in and were ignored by several staff walking around, and we had reservations. High prices for terrible service and blan food. We were so disappointed. They should just shut down at this point. Were not ones to ever complain, but we actually asked for a manager who was no help at all. Waste of a beautiful building in a great spot, too bad. Definitely not returning.
The food was ok. The server was terrible. She never asked what we wanted to drink we never saw her after she slammed our food down on the table. Had to ask someone to find her to get our bill. Never asked if we wanted desert. Luckily we didnt and we were only going to have water anyway. The restaurant was empty so it wasnt because they were short staffed as there were two other servers standing by the bar talking
We left there around 6:30 Saturday night after standing around without being acknowledged for several minutes. If they werent even able to have a host, I can only imagine how the rest of the dinner wouldve been. There didnt even appear to be anyone else waiting to be seated and there were a lot of open tables. After now reading all the poor reviews for months and months, Im glad we didnt stay. They cannot or will not fix things. I would not waste time or money there.
We had a waitress that seemed kind but could not speak English or hard of hearing. Service was super slow. Food was average and confusion over splitting a bill. Charged $5.00 for a ramekin of marinara sauce. Sad of the conditions, no TP in the bathroom and Saraf seemed angry. Won’t be back. 😥
Kara the host or whatever you want to call her was the rudest girl I have ever encountered. Not only before I called she hung up on me when I asked her regarding a wait time, her main concern was they close are 10pm, as I called at 8:30pm. We still continued to try out the restaurant for the first time. When we walked in the family of 5 she pointed to my infant daughter and goes “ummmm you mean 6” I said yes but she’s not eating she’s an infant just need to set her car seat down. She responds with “well it’s 5 not 6 and I guess I can go look for a table”. All in front of my family with my young children present rolls here eyes and continues to make comments. Terrible customer service and ultimately we needed up leaving due to the distasteful personality Kara presented at their front door.
The food was excellent when it finally arrived after an extended wait. We were offered Brunch which we ordered, then told almost 30 min later that Brunch was no longer being served. I was horribly confused as to how it was suggested by our waitress in the first place if it wasn’t available. Secondly, other than my coffee and an orange juice the rest of our drink order was never placed. Lastly, when the food finally arrived we decided to have it boxed. Good food! Poor service! Only giving 4 Stars for food and overall aesthetics of the location.
The food here is absolutely magnificent, the restaurant is spotless and the staff really knows how to accommodate their guests. Out of nowhere I was craving some crispy shrimp Napoli,3/29/22, I hadnt been to Bravo since they closed their Dearborn location years ago... so I decided to go to the Haggerty location for my crispy shrimp Napoli and my chicken spinach bacon flatbread pizza and let me tell you I dont even have pictures because I ate it in the car!!! LOL it was that good I did a carry-out order by the way, but this weekend my boyfriend and I are going to dine in. So if you want 100% Italian food, fresh n hot with a beautiful atmosphere and Ambience definitely come to this location!!!
I am sorry that Google Maps doesn’t have an option for zero stars. This place is very overpriced and I strongly recommend bringing magnifying glasses along so you can actually see the teeny tiny portions. The only thing worse than their food portions is their service. Absolutely horrendous and I recommend to avoid this place. There are tons of other good choices nearby.
This was my first time visiting Bravo (Livonia, MI), and unfortunately my last.My wife found hair in her food (gross). We still were charged, and paid the full bill. (We still tipped excellently btw).Shame on the manager for never coming to our table to address this, nor making things right at all.A true thumbs down experience.
Fresh food, great service, seated promptly with our reservation. They will retain our business, the seasonal dessert consisting of bread pudding with vanilla bean gelato was also a nice treat. Charles was our server today and he was great, he treated my child and I like gold! Hes also who recommended the bread pudding to us, which is not on the regular menu.
Arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 absolutely empty maybe 2 tables were seated. I was then told I would not be seated and that I needed a reservation and I could not be sit at the bar. The staff was unprofessional and unprepared for 3 tables in the whole restaurant. They are slowly and slowly getting worse and worse do not recommend.
We went there in our Valentines day, most of the people are couples calibrating Valentines day, the food for it price was good and taste nice but was hoping to be impressed more. The table where not designed as there were no flower at the table nor candles. We were expecting more. They had a special Manu for Valentines day but didnt order from it because no spacial recipes there.Overall 4 out 5
From the outside, the restaurant looks very attractive and authentic to the Italian architecture and décor. Walking in, my first impression was the ambiance was consistent with the curb appeal, but it looked casual enough for family dining. I won’t compare it to other casual family restaurants because that won’t give the restaurant justice. The restaurant definitely had its own character. Reminds me a little bit of the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas with the pillars, the painted ceilings and interior paint colors. The menu had a good selection of pastas. I would say the dishes were westernized Italian food. I had the Spicy Scallop Marinara. I wasn’t totally impressed with the marinara sauce. It was a bit bland and watery. I really like the sauces a bit thicker and penetrating through the pasta so that I don’t feel like I’m just eating naked pasta in soup. My dish was too much for me so I took some of my left over food to go. Yes, my stomach is much too small for American sized meals. Anyway, common practice for me, I ate the food later that evening but I was disappointed that the meal didn’t taste any better after the pasta and scallops bathed in marinara sauce. My companion had an amazing Tilapia which I wish I ordered. It was on the “Specials” menu. I would go back and order this one but unfortunately, I was there only the one time.Overall. the experience was very enjoyable. It combined an upscale Italian restaurant feel with casual food selection. The restaurant caters to families (especially kids). We (two adults) were given crayons to draw with on the table I guess to pass the time away. This was fun playing 4 way tic tac toes. We entertained ourselves with crayons and ½ liter of wine!!
A chain Italian restaurant with decent service but beautiful decor, including a lovely outdoor seating area, accompanied by a bocce ball court so you and your first date or friends can challenge each other while you wait for your entrees.Above average pastas with seafood, steak, and chicken on the menu. There is a definitely a wide variety of Italian Food Selection.Bring your first date here or celebrate a festive event here, with family and friends.Make sure you save room for the Creme Brûlée.....😉
My friend paid with her credit card 💳 and the waitress/bartender lost her card and NEVER came back to our table. The Manager Melissa didnt like the questions we were asking and got a snippy attitude 🙄. This WAS one of my favorite restaurants with my girls...but now, we will find another spot!!!! #missoutonexcellentguest
They are very short staffed and I feel bad but the experience was just really not good. Almost all the food comes out cold. Calamari was stone cold, hard, and tasteless, honestly just kind of gross. Pasta Bravo was luke warm and the noodles were nearly completely raw (sent it back but the remake was pretty much just as poor). Pizza was definitely the highlight of the meal, it was edible. Crust was good, nothing really special, a little soggy, but at least it was decent. Toasted ravioli was okay too, but it’s undoubtedly just something they get in frozen so I’m not sure how much credit you want to give them. The wait is long and the service is bad, due to short staffing which I can understand and excuse, but it seemed like they had more than enough kitchen staff so I’m not sure why the food is so bad. Ended up paying $60 some dollars for two people and we ate more of the free bread than anything else. I never post reviews but I don’t want anyone else to have the experience I had. This place needs change.
This is my first time here for a relatives birthday party and the lady at the front desk had a very bad attitude. If I wasn’t there for a relative party then I would’ve just walked right back out. I get times are frustrating with staffing and managing businesses due to the pandemic but try your hardest to keep it professional and don’t allow the customers to see your frustration.
I was just here for carry-out and couldnt help but feel for that Host at the stand. You could tell that she was clearly new and the staff wasnt helping her at all. I somehow wanted to help her lol. She was trying to find staff to help better answer our questions, People at the door were also giving her a hard time being so impatient. I know you cant control people, But she was left alone. No staff could give her a second of their time it seemed like. Poor thing. I hope they get better managers. I like this place a lot. I order a tiramisu almost EVERY other night. It was also nice seeing some diversity as well! That young lady seemed so nice.
I and my friend Elizabeth both ordered fettuccine alfredo. Took a long time for our order. The food came out and both of us said at the same time, wheres the alfredo sauce? The waitress said, its at the bottom. It was literally at the very bottom, The alfredo sauce was literally as runny as water. Not one drop clung to the pasta. It was like pasta on top of alfredo water. Cheese is thicker than water so it makes it question what the sauce was made with. We didnt want to be rude and complain so we took our entrees with us and disposed of them. Elizabeth said we should give them to the homeless guy at the expressway exit to my home. I said to her, homeless people have standards too and I would not want to insult them. The bread was okay and the iced tea was fine.
We have been to bravo many times but this time was best. Dion was such a great waiter. I have never had such amazing service. He was so kind, attentive, and lovely. I can’t wait to be back and ask to be seated in his section. Food was very good and came out in a timely manner. Since the pandemic, dinner out has been a struggle with lack of staff, tonight was very positive and we can’t wait to come back ☺️

2022-04-02The food was great, and the portions were adequate and balanced. The atmosphere for being a Friday, was quiet. Our server who was also the bartender was busy and had other tables outside the bar area to maintain as well. She was a vey friendly individual, but a little to tasked(we felt for her). We can see the sign of the times as they were lacking servers in general. This did cause delays in getting drinks/refills. The outside of the facility needs a little TLC as their restaurant name has bulbs out. Again the food was awesome, but service is a little slow.

2022-04-10Honestly, Bravo has potential. With some small improvements, the food could actually be good. The bread was borderline cold, but the actual taste and texture was wonderful. Just serve it fresh out the oven. I ordered the Bravo Woozie and it was lukewarm and the spinach was undercooked. If served hot and fresh, it would have been great. My friend ordered the rigatoni dish and the pasta was slightly undercooked and hard tasting, and also lukewarm. With little tweaks, Bravo could go to the next level. The decor and ambience of the restaurant is wonderful. I was expecting the food to match this quality, and it sadly did not. I was disappointed with my experience here. For the price, we felt we could have gone to Olive Garden and been more satisfied.

2022-01-25Went here for a repass after a funeral. The food was wonderful. The ambience was excellent. The service was impeccable. Couldn’t of asked for more in terms of food quality, experience, service, and pricing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent place to old and event or even a small gathering.

2022-03-31We ordered fettuccine Alfredo (omg the sause was so delicious!), fried mozz raviolli ,spaghetti pomodoro, and an eggplant dish which I forgot the name of 😅. All of it was delicious. Ambience is sublime. The time I visited it, it was nearly 1.30 pm on a Thursday so it was quite and not crowded ,yet the service was not as quick as one would expect. I also had a creme brulee, it was my first time having it ever and Id say it could have used less sweetness.

2022-04-18I would not recommend Bravo Livonia for your group event. I have had some time to consider my review, to ensure I am being fair in all factors. The main reasons that I would not recommend are for the customer service in both the planning aspect and in the waitstaff, and for the overall quality given the price. I booked with Bravo Livonia for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner in 2021. The planning was a headache from the start, due to having to do it over the phone, with differing coordinators, etc. For instance, one planner told us we could have the room from 730P – 1030P, but then I got a call from someone else who said we had to be out by 10P, and to bump us up to a 7P start. When I tried to confirm if it was okay if we were late, since they moved us earlier to accommodate, it was impossible to get a straight answer, which was very frustrating as we were traveling quite a distance to make the 7P arrival. On the day of the actual event, the service was incredibly slow, and we actually ended up leaving around 1030P anyways, simply because the food took so very long to arrive. It was the slowest service I have ever experienced, which was incredibly disappointing, given that they had known we were coming for months in advance. And even then, orders were incorrect. The one positive was that the overall quality and taste of the food was good, and the drinks were good. At the end of the day, it was not a great experience with the service and planning, and for those reasons, I would not want to do it again. I would rather pay more money for better service in the future. I dont even have any photos from that night, as we did not enjoy it.

2022-05-21My server Nina was very nice. Only pleasant experience here. My chicken bravo came out, and the sauce was popping hot, but the noddles were cold. I know they are cooked in advance, but some kind of warming to the pasta needs to happen. Chicken was okay, a little chewy and I had a piece of gristle in mine but I was given half a breast, and for the price, I expected more protein.Chocolate cake was not done either, it was cooked enough to hold mold, but I might as well have eaten cake batter.

2022-05-12Would not recommend. We had a reservation, but still had to wait over 45 minutes to get seated because “they were running behind” but then we later found out that our table was already ready for a while. The host waited a long time to tell us that our table was ready. After being seated our waitress took a long time to take our order and she was tending more to other tables than ours. The taste of the food wasn’t good or bad, but the portion sizes were very small especially for the price they’re charging. I honestly had better tasting pasta at chain restaurants for a much cheaper price and bigger portions. I suggest you save your money and go else were.

2022-05-21We were able to make reservations for 7 people on a Saturday night, which was very nice. We sat at the bar while they finished setting up our table and the service was excellent and very friendly. Once we were seated, the service was very slow and forgetful. Drink refills took a long time. We had to ask for things a few times, then it was finally brought to us. We got a couple things that we had asked for after we were already done with the meal and no longer needed it. The food was good, I felt it bumped up the rating to 4 stars.
