Have taken my Van in twice. Had excellent service both times. Rick listens to your problem & he writes everything you say down so he can relate it to the mechanic. Great service. I would highly recommend this place for service on any vehicle.

I have been to Brighton Auto Service several times since moving to Brighton. It is one of those auto shops that just feels honest. The people are nice and they have always completed whatever work I needed In a relatively short amount of time.
We heard about Brighton Auto Service from a co-worker about a year ago! They seem very honest and easy to talk to. They wont just do any kind of work, unless they know for sure what is going on with the vehicle! We have been to them for a coolant issue and a broken spring, two separate times. And they were able to solve both issues with no problems.
They wont over sell you!This was my first time at Brighton Auto Service and they delivered. I was only sold what I needed after they checked all my brakes. My SUV broke down 2 days before we have to travel up north MI. I stopped by this shop first time and even though they were busy they looked at my car the same day. Turns out a bad fuel pump. Next day the car was fixed and crisis averted. Very impressed with the service, I did not expect to have the car ready so fast. I would recommend you stop by or call them if you have car problems.

Unfortunately there was a related issue afterwards and it needed to go back in to the shop, but the service they provided was outstanding. Excellent ServiceBrighton Auto Service has performed work on my high mileage truck that not even the dealer wanted to do. They have diagnosed the issues, provided estimates for all, prioritized items to be repaired and even recommended items that may no longer need to be repaired. Lets face it, not everything needs to be working perfectly to go to the junk yard. My most recent visit required towing from Ann Arbor. I had planned a trip out of town for the next day, but when the truck didnt start and needed to get towed the night before, I had all but written off the possibility of making the trip. I had just called the person I was planning on visiting, when Brighton Auto Service called to let me know my truck was ready to go. I was able to make my trip after all, only a few hours after I would have gone otherwise. Thanks for keeping my old truck on the road. I really appreciate it.

Brighton Auto Service has performed a number of services on my car from oil changes to front and rear break pad and rotor replacements to water pump replacement. Just recently they replaced a wheel bearing that was making my commute so loud that I had to yell to carry on a conversation in the car. Not anymore. My car is as quiet as the day I bought it 5 years ago! The service team is friendly and the turnaround time is always fast! My car has always comes back from their service center as good as new and never with any issues. I trust and highly recommend Brighton Auto Service without hesitation. We have been getting our cars repaired at Brighton Auto Service for decades. The price has been fair and the work efficient. When needed we have been given good advice. Those times when the car wouldnt do what we tried to tell them it was doing so that they could duplicate it, diagnose it, and repair it, they had the persistence to stick with it until we were satisfied.

I had a pretty expensive transaxle replacement for my Lincoln done here 2 weeks ago. Brighton Autos price was much lower than the dealership and the dealer wanted the car for a whole week.I dropped the car off on Monday afternoon, got it back on Wednesday morning. Ive never, ever had better, faster service than at Brighton Auto.Theres simply no reason to go anywhere else.

So far so good. Been there twice with our 2008 Saturn Aura, first time issue was fixed first time in at a reasonable price, and had about a 24 hour turnaround. 6 months later and the issue hasn’t come back (some oil switch issue).Second time they got it done super fast and again, at a fair price. Haven’t been able to pick up yet due to weather, but I’m hopeful.If everything goes well again, I would be comfortable recommending this place to friends and family.Hopefully these guys can help us get another few years out of the vehicle, a good mechanic is so hard to find.
Bob Keenan and all of his staff are incredibly helpful and honest. They only do the work that is necessary and their pricing is fair. I have been a customer for over 23 years since moving to Brighton. They are the only Team I trust my repairs to. My daughter stopped by and they immediately took care of the stone that got lodged in the breaks no charge.

They were about half of what the Honda dealership wanted to fix my car and they had it up on the blocks and done within a few days. Really good service. My neighbor recommended them and told me you can tell a good shop by the amount of cars they have there for repair because people must like them. Well, he was right. Highly recommend them.

I own two older cars and they need repairs often. This place gets it done. I walk in and there is no shady stuff and my cars run great after the guys here are done with them!
I wish I could do no stars but it wont let me. We have gone to this shop for years even sent family members there, but we will never go there again. We took our truck in for a brake job and after we picked it up we could hear air coming out of the brake petal making a leaking of air kind of noise, took it back in because engine light came on. Told then about the noise they checked it out and said it was a hanger in the back seat the noise wasnt coming from the back seat!! We picked the truck back up and never heard the noise again even that the hanger was in the same place. They got grease all over our sun visor and as we were going down the road our hood started to bounce up and down they didnt even close it. As a said we will never go there again they could care less that we were unhappy.
When we need work done on one of our vehicles, this is the place we go. They are honest, friendly, and do great work. Sometimes they even come in under their estimate!

2022-01-26I took my 2008 F-150 in for loud exhaust and no blower for my heat. I have 233,000 miles on this truck. I was thinking I needed a whole new exhaust. They checked out my truck and told me it can be fixed by cutting out old pipe and welding in new. I was told It wasn’t bad enough to replace the whole system. The blower motor for my heat was bad so I had them replace it. I’m so pleased to find such an honest auto repair shop.I would highly recommend Brighton auto shop to all my friends and neighbors.Very satisfied customer.Art Woodruff

They told him that and didnt charge him. They referred him to a Jetta guru who confirmed their diagnosis. 2020-12-05First time at Brighton Auto Service but it wont be my last! I was so pleased with the prompt, quality service. As soon as I explained my car problems, I was given a prompt prediction of the cause/diagnosis before a mechanic even examined it. The diagnosis was spot on! I had taken my car to another shop days earlier where it was misdiagnosed/not fixed and to top it all off they installed a new battery at almost twice the price which I didnt even need. Needless to say Brighton Auto Service is my new repair shop! I even dropped off a second car for repairs when I picked this one up. I highly recommend them. Bonus if you have a Costco membership you can use a special coupon to get 15% off parts and labor!

2021-01-31In a snow storm I hit a deer and got stuck hundreds of miles north in grayling Michigan I had it towed to a local mechanic. They wanted three to $5,000 and they told me it would be 4 to 6 weeks for the work and maybe my car wasnt salvageable. Long story but my insurance also wasnt covering the incident so I was out of pocket. I decided that wasnt a workable solution so I had it towed down to Brighton Auto at a hefty price tag. But incredibly worth it they fixed it within 48 hours for 850 bucks. The other place was saying that my engine may also be shot and all sorts of insane scenarios. Im just so grateful for the honest hard working amazing people at Brighton Auto. Folks like that restore my faith in humanity when it faulters.
