I had an issue with a gas leak. Consumers had come out stating it was far more than what was actually evaluated, not only by Kyle but also another HVAC family member.He was prompt, friendly, very professional but not “stuffy” professional. He did far more than he should have in the DX of the issue.Do I recommend these guys?Bet I do! No waiting 24 hours for a service call. They came they checked everything, located the issue and were very kind and informed me about what was wrong. Thanks guys!!
Big job at a fair price done on time with no hassles. We got a new well tank, cartridge filter, iron filter, water softener, and water heater. Put it all in in one 8 hour day and hauled the old stuff away. We now have cleaner water at a higher more uniform pressure. Were very happy with the work they did and we highly recommend them for your project. We will be calling Brock Mechanical again when we redo our master bath.
FINAL UPDATE (back to 1 star): Short version: DO NOT call them, I would never recommend them.This took an unfortunate turn and Im submitting the final edit. I did my very best to try and support Brock Mechanical, but they didnt want my business. Heres the summary, and I saved all correspondence so if anyone disputes this I can provide details:8/10/21: on-site estimateSeveral delays in receiving estimate despite several e-mails and phone calls, and promises it was being sent (see below for more details)8/30/21: I posted first Google review (Ill explain why I added this)8/31/21: estimate finally receivedHad some questions, went back and forth with Brock and they were helpful in answering questions9/20/21: I officially accepted the estimate, Brock said they would be in touch to schedule10/1/21: I was contacted by Brock about the job, asking about any flexibility to schedule later or even in spring (which I said would be fine, I just wanted it done before pool season next year, most important it is done right); however, the focus of the e-mail was asking me to take down my initial negative review - I explained I provided an honest review, and they did own that they fell short in their communication, but I did want to support a local business and they seemed committed to making it right, so I proceeded with the job and I updated my review accordingly (see below). I never heard a response.10/9/21: E-mailed Brock again, no response.10/15/21: E-mailed Brock again, no response.10/19/21: E-mail received from Brock:We are responding to let you know that we have decided to pass on your quoted estimate. Effective at the receipt of this email. We reached this decision after careful consideration. As with any opportunity, we would like to thank you for allowing us to quote your project. No explanation, no apologies for changing their mind and delaying my project months, nothing. I responded explaining my disappointment and asked for an explanation to hear their side of the story - staffing shortage? Materials? His unfortunate injury? Something else? I can understand those things and I was willing to delay to spring.They didnt have the professionalism to respond, so I dont know. The focus in the most recent communication was on my negative review, so Im assuming thats why they declined this since they would not respond and explain.I would never recommend Brock Mechanical after this experience.UPDATED REVIEW (1 star to 4 stars): Doug responded to my review and my e-mails and sent over the quote. He explained his staffing situation and other challenges. Im absolutely understanding of staffing challenges in this current environment, as well as personal issues - those should take priority. My main concern and frustration was over the lack of communication and repeated promises that someone would get back to me but then did not. Doug seems like a very good person who cares a lot about his employees and his business, that means a lot to me, and I want to support local small businesses when I can.I ended up signing the estimate so I will be hiring Brock Mechanical for our job. We are communicating about getting materials and scheduling, I will update my review again once the job is complete.EDITED DUE TO CHARACTER LIMIT: Contacted Brock Mechanical for an estimate on a new gas line to our pool for a new heater. Doug came out, friendly and professional, took measurements, said he would be sending over an estimate.Almost 3 weeks and 5 phone calls later, still no estimate. I understand Doug had an injury and was out for a bit; I was sorry to hear this and wished him well. They also said that he left my estimate with others to be completed, but it was somehow classified or organized incorrectly so didnt get done. I understand we all make mistakes, but I then made 3 more calls, each time told the estimate should be there later that day, but still didnt receive.Made one final call in the hopes they might respond. If so, I can update my review, but so far Im not sure I would hire them.
Lately, we are getting frustrated with the professionalism using service organizations. Brock Mechanical Plumbing was exactly the opposite. From the start of contact (phone call for service) to the actual work (repair of water pipe) to the follow up, Brock has been outstanding. Thats how the service industry should operate and display the best from the best. I would recommend them anytime. Im not getting paid for this feedback :-)
I was hoping to establish an ongoing relationship with this company and recommend them to my family and association. I was very disappointed by this company. I had 2 standing appointments where nobody showed up. I called and spoke to the owner who was going to see where the worker was and he never called me back. Very unprofessional and I’m so glad I didn’t recommend this business to all of my colleagues. I would never recommend this company to anybody.

Brock Mechanical Plumbing did a wonderful job installing a new outside faucet. The owner and crew were wonderful and helpful. This is the second time I have used them and will continue to be my go to plumber.
Brock mechanical fixed multiple small plumbing issues for me about a month ago. I was very impressed with Kenny’s work and the cost was reasonable. We had a pipe that broke off yesterday and they responded quickly and got our water up and running within a few hours. I am grateful for their help. Their customer service is amazing! I will definitely use this company for any plumbing needs in the future.

Our hot water tank started to leak on a Tuesday and Brock Mechanical was out on Thursday with a new tank and ready to install. Doug provided an estimate over the phone and Ken did a fantastic job on the install! He explained everything about the install before he started, showed us the sediment that had built up in the old unit and how to prevent it in the new tank to increase its life, and removed the old unit which was extremely heavy. He cleaned up prior to leaving and completing the invoice was a snap. I would highly recommend Brock Mechanical.
I found out about Brock Mechanical during a frantic search for a plumber when water began leaking from our lower level wall. Brock was recommended in several reviews on Facebook and was local.I called them on a Thursday and they were out first thing Monday morning. Kyle and Doug (the owner of Brock Mechanical) arrived and diagnosed the problem using a hi tech camera to give definite proof of the issue.As it turned out the problem was serious and concrete had to be removed throughout my house to access the damaged pipe. All through the process to repair the drain, I met several members of Dougs team including William, Kyle, Kenny, and Dougs right hand lady, Kate.During the next 10 days, Doug stayed in constant contact with me, visiting the job site every day, and making sure I had the paperwork I needed for the insurance company.Brock Mechanical has some of the finest, nicest and most competent staff I have ever worked with, (and I have managed multi-million dollar contracts in my professional life). They will always be welcome in my home even when I do not need a plumber!
I would definitely use Brock again! Kevin was knowledgeable, efficient, and very respectful of our home while he was here. He came up with a good solution to the problem with our kitchen drain after a remodel made the existing drain unusable. Price was extremely fair and reasonable. Its hard to find a company that you can trust these days...Brock Mechanical is one of a kind.
I contacted Brock mechanical about a major issue with a well line leak under my slab. They got ahold of me very quickly and came out early the next morning to diagnose my issue. They continued to work above and beyond with me to find the best solution and helped coordinate with my insurance to determine whether the repair was covered or not. I was very impressed with the help they gave me and I now have someone I can trust and call with any plumbing repairs or concerns I have in the future. They earned my recommendation!
Excellent company! , very prompt, very professional they listened to my concerns about my plumbing. Doug the owner was very professional explained everything. Quoted me a good price and did exactly what he said he would do, even went above and beyond. Before they left they made sure everything was cleaned up and made sure that I was satisfied before they left. I would definitely use Brock Mechanical again in a heartbeat.
Very disappointed since I wrote the initial review in July. It seems somewhere in the supply chain my water heater was misplaced and I will not be receiving warranty reimbursement. 12/23 update: Water heater was located and now awaiting reimbursement.Original post: They provided a quick response to my immediate need for a leaking hot water heater replacement. Ken (plumber installer) was very professional both in his appearance and work ethic. Install was completed and area was left cleaner than when job started. Doug Brock was very willing to work with me and the cost came in less than expected. Doug is also submitting my old hot water tank to the manufacturer for warranty reimbursement.
Ken came out today and did replumbing on our sump pump he was very professional and knowledgeable of the problem we would recommend him and this company for any problem you may be having will be calling them to change some faucets for us they are very fair priced .
Incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. Kyle helped us to understand the ins and outs of the process, and also gave us a ton of useful tips to use in the future. I am definitely going to use Brock Mechanical every time going forward.
We had an appointment with Brock Mechanical and Doug was a no show/no call. They still have not returned our phone calls/messages from days ago. Not the proper way to handle your business. If you are unable to meet your appointments then you should have some kind of back up plan to contact homeowners. My husband took time off of work to meet Doug at our house and that was a waste of his time.
I have hired Brock Mechanical for multiple plumbing projects (repairs and installs) and have been extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship, communication, and dedication each member of the crew has demonstrated. I count Brock Mechanical as my go to for all my plumbing needs.
Brock Mechanical installed a bathroom in my basement and did some additional plumbing repairs. They did an amazing job. The work was done quickly and was very reasonably priced I highly recommend them.

Bill came out and did an amazing job under our kitchen sink. He also tackled a potentially big job changing an outdoor spicket in a finished basement. Instead of taking out the entire wall like a previous quote told me I HAD to do. He created a small insulated access panel for access to fix the spicket and future maintenance to it. I highly recommend Brock Mechanical Plumbing for anybody looking for a plumber in the area! They are quick to quote, KNOWLEDGABLE, prompt, on time, talented and really deliver!
Great. Did not try to sell me over priced equipment but what I needed. From large installations to the most minor details taken care of. Installed water heater water softener garbage disposal and direct line of purified water spicket in kitchen sink. Timely and very respectful of your property. So very glad. 2021-11-08I give this company 10 stars! I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate to replace my tank water heater with a tankless and get a water softener installed. Ken called me back and was able to stop by on the same day since he was going to pass my house on his way back to the shop at the end of the day. I received a surprisingly reasonable bid and Ken was very polite, personable, and professionally.We did our due diligence and had a couple other quotes but Brocks was the most competitive. The other companies just quoted me their most expensive items and went about their day not really explaining the why. I signed the quote from Brock within 2 days of getting it and then was able to schedule with Doug for about a week out.Ken just left, he did a wonderful job! AND he left the area just as clean as he found it. He was very professional, walked us through how to change the temp, and what we need to do maintenance wise (which is only a 1x a year descaling) I would absolutely without a second thought recommend Brock Mechanical to anyone who needs a plumber. Best value and highly professional. 👌 👌

2022-06-07Without hesitation, I recommend Brock Mechanical! Technician Ken visited my home, provided a quote to replace my 15-year old hot water tank, scheduled an appointment with me, and was on time for the installation. Ken was polite, professional, and he cleaned up the area that he worked in. He was very efficient with the changeout - taking less than three hours. I will call Brock for any future plumbing needs.

2022-01-27Our water softener had to be replaced. We contacted Brock and Ken was here the following day (Friday) to troubleshoot. Due to age and condition it had to be replaced. He provided a quote and was here the following Tuesday to complete the job. Ken was prompt, professional .and extremely helpful. We will contact Brock on all future mechanical contracting needs.

2022-04-22Doug at Brock mechanical plumbing I cant thank you enough. I called Doug several times throughout the last 2 weeks trying to find a leak in my wall without asking him to come out I ended up finding the leak on my own so I did not have to have Doug come out to repair it but Doug always went out his way to answer his phone to tell me how I could fix it and I just want to say thank you so much. Youre a wonderful person Doug thank you again for answering all my questions.

2021-09-11I highly recommend this company! Doug Brock responded to my initial call promptly, came out and gave me a reasonable quote for a number of plumbing issues I was having. He is friendly and professional. Along with his crew Kyle and Ken, they did great work and completed all of the work efficiently, including replacement of sump pumps, water softener, water heater and garbage disposal. If you need an honest plumber, call Doug Brock!

2021-12-22Prompt (almost immediate!), polite responses to inquiry via Yelp and follow-up via phone. Technician was on time, masked, brought his own shoe covers, and efficiently diagnosed and explained the problem. He had everything he needed on the truck for an immediate repair and was in and out in 30 minutes. Terrific service with a (masked) smile - Will 100% use Brock Mechanical again!

2021-11-17I called 2 other companies to get estimates on finding and repairing a leak that I had DRAMATICALLY over estimated the complexity of the situation as I am obviously oblivious to plumbing issues, and each of the other guys gave an estimate of $550+ just to come out and find the issue, and one wouldnt even come out until mid December. after speaking with Brock, he said he will find the issue given it doesnt take too long for free, and give an estimate on a fix. Kyle came out, pointed out the issue that was far less concerning than I thought, but still concerning, and fixed it within 1 1/2 hours. something that wouldve cost me $700+ somewhere else, had only cost $275. next year I plan on having Kyle come out and Update my entire plumbing system and update our water softener next because of how today went. much appreciated!
