Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant in other cities:
By far the best Buca around, its hard to find good service in these times but our waitress Kylie did not disappoint! The food came out fast, portions were generous- you will not leave hungry. The general manager, Melissa, checked on us throughout our meal and was very personable!
We’ve come here quite a bit over the last few years. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable on what to suggest for your particular group. Each section is a different experience. It’s family style, definitely come hungry. The lasagna has always been a personal favorite of mine!!
First I will say the staff are super friendly, the manager and waitress were awesome. The main reason Im rating so low is unfortunately the food quality is just horrible.. lacking flavor and just cheap tasting. Its unfortunate since the service and staff are awesome and the restaurant is well maintained, with great decor.
The food was amazing best ever!! The managers Glen and Melissa stopped by our table to check on us and wish my mom a happy birthday. Such a neat place to dine with all the seperate dinning rooms Denise was our server she was very attentive and fun and made our experience top notch I will ask for her again. the managers made my mom feel special by checking on us and wishing her happy biryhday. Just an awesome place to dine we will be back!!
My husband and I stopped in because we got a coupon for my birthday. Our first time ever trying Buca!!! The food was phenomenal, the portions are enormous. I cannot say enough good things about our waitress Denise she made it feel like we were eating right at home. To be totally honest with you this world would be so much better if there was more people around like Denise. Thank you Buca for a wonderful meal and thank you to Denise for the best service we will most definitely be back.
We love this Buca! Their food is always delicious, plentiful - and when we visit to celebrate special occasions, we always have such an amazing time. Plus the staff are thoughtful and friendly. For our last celebration of my mothers birthday Denise made sure the whole family (big and small) had a great time!
We had a small room of booths and tables for a small group, about 20 people for my grandsons 1st Communion. The food was good but luke warm. The wait staff didnt bring the entrees to every table. We had to get up and pass them. They also could have been more attentive.
We have been wanting a good Italian place and since we pass this place often, we figured we’d try them out. Sadly, this was the worse Italian we’ve ever had. The food was luck warm and the plate scolding hot, clearly it was microwaved and came out way to fast for it to be authentic. While eating, unfortunately I had found I was chewing on a piece of thick plastic. I informed the waitress not trying to complain but to inform them of the issue and she attempted to take the plastic piece to inform the cooks and then left the piece at our table seeming almost as if this happens regularly. The food seemed good at first , but the more you ate it, the worse it got. The chicken was discolored and the toast tasted freezer burnt. I hate complaining, but I felt this was worth mentioning.
My friend & I went for lunch at 11 am. We asked to be seated away from other diners which we were until someone seats another party right next to us. The whole section was open and he seats them right next to us. The nice young waitress kept calling me hun. We had antipasto salad, garlic bread and two lunch entrees. Pasta on both was over cooked. Within an hour both of us were sick. We will never go back again.
Tried to have dinner here yesterday around 4pm. Not a single person working there? We stood around awkwardly for a bit, and then we left the restaurant without eating or seeing anyone. My first thought was, maybe this is for the best if the the food isn’t moving, as no one’s eating here anyway..
BUCA never disappoints. We usually dine in on special occasions because we live about 10 miles away. Decided to try ordering online with a 730pm pickup on our way home from our errands. Arrived early called and gave our carryout spot in lot. Food was at my car door exactly on time and still deliciously hot to serve when we got home!
We came here for my husbands birthday. We havent been since before Covid. It has changed. The bread was just plain old white bread. They used to serve beautiful slices of Italian bread with a nice crust & a meaty bread center, now its just like an American very small loaf of bread. My family ordered the individual lunch portions, which is enough but my guys went through 2 loaves of the bread because theyre used to eating more.My oldest ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken parm & he did not like the pasta dish. He took 2 bites & was done. My husband ordered the pasta with sauce with his chicken parm & he said it was ok, after dumping half the cheese container on his pasta. My youngest ordered a spicy chicken pasta dish, which he really liked & ate it all. I ordered the chicken lemone with capers & I thought that was delicious. My side was fettuccine with the rosa sauce (red & white mixed) & it was ok. My husband claimed his free birthday dessert with his coupon which was ice cream served in a huge glass with chunks of brownie, chocolate syrup, whipped cream & cherries on top. We all liked that! The chairs were all wobbly at our table but other than that no complaints. The best part of our visit was the sweet & efficient server we had named Koda. We werent really wowed over wirh the food so will probably not return.Their menu has been cut down drastically & when we eat out, I want to eat better food than what I make at home. If you do go, ask for Kodas section, she makes it a better experience.
This is my 2nd bad experience from this restaurant. We ordered as takeout, the penne San Remo and it didnt come with any chicken. Looked up the description in case we made a mistake, and the 1st ingredient is chicken. The other time, we tried to book a reservation for a party (days in advance) for 18 people and was told 1) we didnt have enough people and 2) there would be a seating fee for each person before we even ordered food. I am done with giving this restaurant a chance.
Went to Buca di Beppo on Hall rd. There Chicken Marsala is the best of any we’re I have ever had. Was going to order it sat night for diner but you can only get a small order at lunch the order would of been to much for me.When the manager Glen stopped at the table I told him there chicken Marsala was the best from any place I have ordered it. guess what he was so kind to make up a small just for me. Yes it was sooooo goooood. Had great service, wonderful food and a outstanding manager. Thanks Glen and Buca.
Generous portions, great atmosphere, great conversation with staff. They truly care about your experience with them and the food was delicious! Baked Ziti, broccoli, and I didnt get a pic of the awesome garlic bread. It was our anniversary, the ice cream was free!We had dinner, one lunch, and dinner again from their small serving sizes.
I was visiting my Family. Bought them a dinner at Bucca di Beppo. The worst experience ever. We ordered Chicken parm received Pasta without chicken, Ordered Chicken Alfredo received Pasta without chicken. Ordered Salad, no dressings. The worst tasting tiramisu ever. Waste of money and Time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. If i could i would give 0 stars.
My family and I had a wonderful experiance at Buca di Beppo. The staff and atmosphere are so welcoming. The food was fantastic and our waitress Denise was very accomidatimg. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for making my birthday a memorable one!
Spaghetti and Meatballs Tasted like Dog food. This is the worst meatballs I have ever had. The meatballs tased bad, not well seasoned, and the spaghetti was overdone and watery, which is a major no no for pasta. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been in the US. No more big orders from here. Stay away.
The food tastes really good and the ambience is so nice and creative.! You can have a great time there with you family and friends.! The service was a little slow when I visited the restaurant as there was only one person taking care of a bunch of tables.! The menu might look a little pricey but the taste of the food is really good ! Desserts are huge, so be careful to share with others.
Holy sh**t this place is awesome love the food the service is out of this world it makes you feel like your at home well in an Italian restaurant they ask if you ever been here and if not they actually and I mean actually give you a tour of the restaurant even in the kitchen yes you get a tour of the kitchen clean you could eat off the floor pictures on almost every square inch of the walls if you want to experience a great Italian restaurant this is the place to be. Our server Clare was great, awesome with a great personality and was very informative. Brett our host explained the meaning and history of the restaurant. If you are looking for a romantic place to take your other half, this is the place. I cant say enough about the food, I want to thank Clare, Brett, and the professional kitchen for such a great time and great food, and one hell of an experience. I will definitely come back!
I had original plans to go to Black Rock, but suddenly decided to go to Bucas because it was right there, and who doesnt love Italian food?! Honestly, so satisfied with our choice to go there instead. Staff was friendly, professional and attentive. Most restaurants hide their kitchen, and usually for deplorable reasons, but Bucas will give you a tour right through it! It felt very hospitable. The food was just as impressive. We had the calamari, salmon, chicken marsala and roasted garlic potatoes. To simplify it: absolute perfection.I enjoyed how it just didnt seem like the typical commercialized restaurant, with gray walls, and flat screen televisions in every corner. It feels personal. If you want to actually enjoy those youre dining with, as well as your food, Bucas is definitely going to become an instant favorite.
I went to Google to rate this restaurant not realizing I had already left 5 stars in the review. I would like to leave a second review of 5 stars but Google apparently doesnt work like that. So Im adding this review to show how impressed I am with this place. Food is ALWAYS great. Service is ALWAYS great. Atmosphere is ALWAYS great. I cant say enough nice things about this place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for family style Italian food. Lori was our waitress today and she was super busy, but did not miss one thing. Great job Lori!
This was my first time to eat here. Brandi was our server. She explained how family style worked, explained ingredients, and accommodated our special request. Very pleasant. Very good lasagna and antipasti salad. I loved it. The ambiance and wall pictures were fun. Cant wait to eat the left overs.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening and meal here! The food was phenomenal as well as the service with Justine. Our waitress Justine was so friendly and kind. We even had the general manager check in on us, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this Bucca location
Went Saturday night. Super super long wait, was told 10-15 mins for a table ended up waiting 35 mins for a table. When we got a table we had to wait 30 mins for food. Werid thing is people who was seated after us got bread n salad but we wasnt served any of that. The food was great maybe it was just the wrong time to go here.
Got carry out - the whole experience, from the website to the online order was a debacle (couldnt even order bread on the website). Ended up having to call - so we did, placed our order, came out to about $100.00. We got veal parmigiana, and spaghetti and meatballs. Portion size was a joke for the veal. Which had barely any sauce on it, and even less parmigiana cheese on it, truly just a disgrace. The spaghetti and meat balls, was just a bucket of spaghetti, and absolutely no sauce whatsoever. Three meatballs and some plain spaghetti. Ended up having to go and get sauce from somewhere else to put on it. Worst part was, we drove over an hour and 45 minutes two ways to go there. And the website said nothing about needing to order sauce if we wanted it. Horribly disappointed, and embarrassed that we went out of our way to try this place and it turned out to be horrible. The food was standard, didnt taste great, didnt taste good, it was about average. About as good as Big Boy Veal Parmigiana, which is still better than Olive Garden. Shouldve made it myself, wouldnt have cost $100.00.
On March 7th we had our 25th wedding anniversary dinner at the Sterling Heights location. Everything was fantastic, from Tina helping us select a room and a menu to the set up of the room. The servers and managers were friendly helpful and made all of our guests feel welcome. The food came out hot and delicious. The experience was well worth it. Once the stay at home is over we plan on going back for dinner.
Super cool! This is a retro vintage New York style Italian restaurant. It has themed rooms to dine in. All dawned with swag lamps, red vinyl booths, vintage memorabilia, collectibles, posters and photographs of yesteryear...The food is outstanding but very pricey. Best way to dine here affordably, would be in a group. As they have group portion entrees, salads, and various bread baskets to choose from. $28-$30 for an entree feeds 3 but really feeds 4. So the portions are generous! :)
As a first time customer here, I was in awe of the Italian memorabilia decorating the entire restaurant which gave the atmosphere a very warm/family oriented feeling. The food is served family style which accommodates larger families and allows for a variety of options instead of the traditional one plate entree but if it is less than 3 people it may not be an ideal option, especially if you have a hard time deciding what to eat!
We had out small wedding reception located here yesterday. The staff was pleasant and attentive yet still have us space so it felt more like a close family dinner. No one left hungry and for the amount of people the price was reasonable. We were really pleased with our choice and am thankful to the staff, they will definitely come to mind when people ask me for recommendations.
Now that my engagement is public knowledge, I can thank Buca De Beppo for the fabulous meal we had on 11/5/19. We had a reservation at a high falutin Italian place down the street which turned out to be hosting a business seminar... Made a last minute suggestion to go to Buca instead and we were not disappointed! Not only was the meal private in our own little corner of the restaurant, but the staff - Paris was very attentive. The bruschetta!! I swear every bite was a taste of heaven. The lasagna was great. All of it was amazing. And being able to have my partner be able to propose without a ton of spectators and no one even being any the wiser- absolutely perfect and true to us as a couple. Fantastic food at a fabulous deal. I would highly recommend this location and I will most likely be having them not only host an engagement party but also cater my wedding. Buca is always going to be our place. ❤️
I pre-ordered online 24 hrs prior for a family event. when I arrived to pickup the order was never pulled from site/completed. Forcing me to wait 30 minutes this completely defies the purpose of ordering ahead. Not to mention when I reviewed my credit card I was billed twice. 3 stars bc the food was great. Service extremely poor. We’ve ordered this way many times in the past & never had a problem. Could just be the lack of help these days.
Eh. My lasagna was burnt and noodles were mushy…. Even the meat inside was burnt…. Server was nice. Sauce was bland and needed more. Tasted like a frozen stouffer lasagna meal if I’m being honest… and for $29….. But I’ll never return. I’ll stick to Firenze Italian Restaurant ✌🏻
During covid, we got carry out from Bucas several times. The food was always ready when I arrived; however, the quality of the food has been all over the place. One time, the meatball was cold, as if it came out of the fridge. Another time the raviolis were all stuck together so all the filling oozed out. Another time, I received the small instead of the large.Ive dined in several times before covid and never had problems with the food or service. They have this limoncello drink that is amazing!
Not what I was expecting. Ive had the family style spaghetti and meat balls before and love it. What happened? Bland meatballs and the sauce was not interested in hugging the pasta. I hate writing this review but whatever is happening at Buca di Beppo right now isnt good.
Great bang for your meatball here. There menu, unlike other restaurants isnt tangled like spaghetti but layered like the lasagna.. neat and delicious! I had the pleasure to work with the AGM Melissa with an event we wanted to host and she was as sweet as their Italian cream in their Canoli! Very easy to work and schedule and gave us the pricing straight up with no beat around.. definitely feel like im its gonna be as smooth as butterd pasta having an event here!
This place used to be one of my favorite restaurants as a child and even then I would say my palette was pretty refined. I came back for the first time in years, very excited to share this place with my partner. The outcome was, for lack of a better word, disgusting! The appetizers were barely warm and tasted as if they had been reheated. The entrees we ordered were the limone chicken and the chicken parm. Both were very disappointing. The chicken limone was far too buttery and dry around the edges and the chicken parm tasted floury. All in all I’d give this place a 1/10 and will never return. I’m very disappointed and sad. For the price you have to pay for this food it should NOT taste like this!
This was our first time here and was it nice! The food was excellent! Fresh and delicious and hot...just right! Our server, Taleh was welcoming, friendly, explained portions, and gave great descriptions of a dishes we asked about while we were deciding what to order. She was attentiive, gracious, and kept checking to see if anything was needed. She is a quick and efficient server who is a credit to Buca di Peppo! She is a keeper along with the delicious food!
Had my daughters 20th birthday here and it was fabulous!. Denise, our server, simply the best! We had a party of 9 and never was without anything. The service was the best and the food....so good!. So hot and fresh and homemade. So yummy....we needed a nap! Definitely coming back and looking for our server Denise. Thanks for a great memory and night!
Completely ruined Mothers Day Dinner. Ordered two days prior for a Mothers Day Package, confirmed order that day including pick up time AND called today (Mothers Day) HOURS before to confirm as well. Unfortunate they are still taking same day orders and cannot honor the orders placed days ago. Havent been here for years and wont be back. Completely zero structure to their pick up orders;basically wait and wonder. No communication from staff. I understand it is busy and a holiday, but perhaps dont let your restaurant be in over their head with orders. Waited over an hour and left, they were still working on orders from an hour prior to my pick up time! Im glad I didnt pay up front and would HIGHLY suggest no one waste their time here.No announcements from staff on possible wait times or asking about for peoples names.
My husband and I ate here tonight. Our service was wonderful... Brooke was our server and was very engaging and professional. We understand the portion sizes! We order the small and my husband takes the leftovers as lunches. We had the chicken parmigiana and the stuffed shells. Food was excellent! Great atmosphere, great food and great service!
My wife and I had dinner for our wedding anniversary as we have done for the last couple of years. The experience was wonderful. Even with all the restrictions they made our time there enjoyable. Our server was Kaitlyn and she was a pleasant young lady. Thank you so much for a great dinner.
Excellent dining experience!! Our waitress (Ashley) couldn’t have been better! We were allowed to enjoy our appetizers without dinner being shoved at us like most restaurants trying to push the customers through. Very relaxed and pleasant evening. The food was delicious, more than enough per serving. The manager even checked on us. We complimented what a great job she was doing. Looking around, all the other patrons agreed. We will be back!!
This past Monday I went to this restaurant for the first time and it was scrumptious!! I went with two other friends one had a birthday. Ashley was a phenomenal waitress!! Gave us great selections. And for love that is all holy order the brownie ice cream dessert!! Oh and the bread with cheese!! I cant wait to come back. And I requesting Ashley. You should too!
My family and I really enjoyed our visit here yesterday. It was our first time dining here and felt very welcome. The service was great and the food was very fresh and delicious as well. Ashly, our server was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, but most of all very patient with us, as we had a hard time deciding what to get. We will definitely be returning. Also, I thought it was really nice of the manager to come and introduce himself and see how things wete going.
This place must be slammed with business all of the time... we tried to book a party of 18 people and they refused us. Said we didnt have enough people and they wanted to charge $30 per person for the reservation.Extremely rude and didnt want to work with us. So. 18 people got their first experience dealing with this place. We found a great place and it all worked out in the end. Including a $1200 tab... guess they didnt need the money.
If there is a 0 I would give them one today! Shambolic service! Both online orders and phone orders are backed up by 2 hrs. Had a mother day dinner planned for 16 people at my house and made the mistake from ordering there. They called and said food would be ready by 5:30. It’s 7:00 pm and they have no idea when it will be ready. Big fail on planning and execution on a day like this. Massively disrespectful to their customers. Cancelling my order now!
The worst Buca experience ever and Ive been to several around the US. I sat at the bar, no one else was in the bar area. Several servers came to that computer in the bar area to put in the orders. All complained, hello - you should be happy to have customers and be in business. The salad I ordered was horrible, the Riunite was flat, the meatball and sauce were good. Servers were not smiling, I wont go back to this location.
Overall a great experience. Our waiter Alex was very kind, you could tell he was wanting to give the best service he could. Food was delish, very large family style portions. Reasonably priced in my opinion...My only complaint is that fabric wall hangings so easily collect dust and are pretty unsightly after time if not properly maintained. The restaurant would do well with a bit of dusting/detail cleaning.
Ashley was the absolute best. She gifted me and my mother the best experience ever. Very friendly and explained the menu to my mom and I. Very detailed and descriptive while describing each item menu. Food was phenomenal and the service was out of the world! Will definitely be back soon. Ashley gave the best service we’ve had in a long time
My boyfriend and I have come for dinner twice now and Ashley has waited on us both times. She has provided a very personal experience both and has recommended items that have been great additions to what we have ordered. We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience both times when we have come. The food is excellent and we love trying the different cocktails. We will be back again in the near future to have Ashley wait on us.
José was our server and he was an absolute delight! We ordered the shrimp fra diavolo and it was so great! Im glad for the family style portions because having these leftovers is the best. Their garlic bread is also amazing and I had their milan mule, which was perfectly mixed.
Ordered takeout, it was very disappointing. Saddest salad ever. Wilted lettuce, dry chicken, very salty. Also ordered spaghetti with meatballs, it was bad. The sauce was extremely sweet, giant meatballs cant possibly cook evenly and the pasta was just tasteless, no seasoning got through and it also comes with a piece of bread, bread was good, but it was just a whole piece of bread, no butter or anything.
My family went here recently for my dad’s birthday, for the first time! We loved everything about it, service was great and food was amazing! But our favorite part was getting walked through the restaurant and hearing how Big Joe started it all. Our group of 6 was stuffed after dinner and we still had leftovers from ordering salad and just two pasta dishes! We also got the colossal brownie for my dad and were pleasantly surprised to find it was family size. Our server Brooke was very friendly, helpful, and attentive! As were the other hostesses and management. We will definitely be returning!
Okay so i originally wasnt even gonna go here. I was going to a place next to it with a few pals. That place was closing however so we decided to try this place since it was next door. I have to say, speaking for all 4 of us, this place was great. Had a nice atmosphere, great customer service, and amazing food. Before this, we never went to a place that served in large portions and the waiter was kind enough to explain it (were a little slow sometimes so this really helped a lot). The prices were amazing considering the quality of the food and they always made sure we were set with refills and anything else we may need. Amazing place, will definitely come back.
This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I have to say that I am impressed. I also want to preface I have never eaten at a family style restaurant but the concept works here. All the food was great. So at this family style restaurant it is said that smalls feed 3 people and larges feed 5. In my opinion the portion sizes can be changes to make it feed more people there is a lot of food. It first started off with a tour and history of the restaurant which was very nice. We were recommended by my brother coworker to go their for his Birthday and he enjoyed it. Kyle who was our server was polite and attended to anything that was needed including giving us a run down of how it worked which was nice. The colossal brownie sundae was divine and delectable. I would totally eat here again Thank you for making my brother 17th memorable.
Great fresh food. Excellent service. Decor is interesting and we have leftovers for days. Sorret took care of us, and he knew what we needed before we ever had to ask for anything. He really made sure that we had a positive experience and were able to fully enjoy everything. The food all came at the right pace and we had plenty of time to enjoy each dish before the next one arrived. The manager greeted us at the door and we were treated to great hospitality in every way while we were guests there.
Hannah was our server and did a great job show casing the menu to us since it was our first time here. We ordered the trio appetizer and it came out within 10 minutes. For our main meal, we order the chicken parmigiana and the stuff shells. Mom used to make stuff shells when I was a kid. They werent as good but pretty dang close. Hannah was very attentive and Gordon the manager ensured we had good service. Im glad we stopped here. Definitely coming back.
All I can say is if youre on or near the Hall Road area and you want great food from a Bucca Di Beppo, request Brandy, specifically. She met all ofmy needs and exceeded my expectations. She went above and beyond the duties of her job, kept the plates coming, was able to see that all of my requests were fulfilled, made the perfect suggestions, was clearly knowledgeable, sent me on my way fully satisfied, and I wish I could thank her again personally for the effort she put into waiting on me. Thank you Brandy, and thank you Bucca Di Beppo for hiring her; shes a keeper, and I would even go so far as to say management material.
I love and hate this place. I love it because the food is so good. I hate it because it makes me feel like I dont have to call my Nonna again for another month... which is never a good idea for an Italian man to do. Call your Nonna, I dont care if you just talked to her, call her again!
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff worked very well as a team, and even though they were slightly busy, the employees still put a smile on their faces and didn’t let the guests know they were stressed. The food was delicious and served hot. This establishment has very well management. Melissa greeted our table and took the time to have a nice conversation with us, and made sure our experience was meeting our expectations. As she was busy she still made the guests her first priority, as she was assisting the employees as much as she could. I will definitely be returning!
Great staff, interesting family experience, good food. Would definitely eat there again. Our waiter Gordon, was one of the best waiters I have ever had. He was very attentive to all our needs and excellent with children. We were seated within 3 minutes of arriving, and the first course was at our table within 10 minutes. The walls are decorated with an assortment of mildly interesting art that is sure to entertain.
Food is usually excellent. My husband likes the lasagna and I like the spicy chicken pasta dish (so good!). The last time we were there I had the meatballs but did not care for them. Denise has been our server several times and is always friendly, helpful and accommodating. The decor with all the interesting and funny photos is an added plus.
First time customer. Food and service was meh... way over priced for microwaved pre-cooked bland chicken and flavorless dry Alfredo sauce. I’m sorry to say you can make a better pasta dish at home from a jar. I gave an extra star for ambiance, the quirky decorations were fun and interesting but sadly I will not be back. If I’m going to spend $86 plus tip, for two people to have dinner, the food needs to be great
Wonderful food with Wonderful staff! First we were greated by a nice gentleman that gave us a tour around the restaurant. He explained the meaning of the name and why certain decor for the many rooms. We went in to celebrate mine and my daughters birthdays and were treated with nothing but kindness! The manager even asked if he could sing us their famous birthday song!! I was beyond impressed with the whole experience!! We WILL be returning 😉
The food was delicious, I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo, it came out hot and very fresh, everything was good. Kyle was my server and he was awesome, favorite waitor Ive had in a while. He made sure I understood the menu, he kept us updated on kitchen wait times, drinks were never empty, and he was personable. Would definitely come back.
This is the first time we came here. My husband had a coupon and a gift card. So we decided to check it out and the prices were pretty high but the food was good! I got the lasagna and I like how the sauce is not over-spiced! My husband got spaghetti and meatballs! Loved his spaghetti also and hes not a easy one to please when it comes to that!! We will be returning if we get a coupon in the mail or maybe once in a great while if theres a special occasion! Not too often because it is pretty pricey now!! But the man that served us was very nice and polite!!! 😊
My sister and I had lunch on Christmas Day, as we have for the past I dont know how many years, as well as visits throughout the year. On this particular visit, as with most, everything was fantastic! Our food was served promptly, was prepared excellently and tasted exactly how I knew it would; better than most Italian eateries in the area! Our server Shannon was professional yet friendly, able to find that perfect balance between the two to make us feel well taken care of and cared for as well. She should be commended for her abilities. Overall, yet another fine experience at this establishment! And we will definitely be back for more.
Excellent in every way. We had a surprise birthday party for my husband and the staff flawlessly accommodated our 35 guests and helped us pull off the surprise. Tina, the manager, attended to some special details and made sure everything was running smoothly. Elise and Servet were our excellent servers and kept everyone happy and the party flowing. They were efficient, polite and patient. All of our guests praised the private room and accommodations, the good food, and the service. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
The food was so good! We didn’t expect family style but it just made it more fun and an experience. The restaurant is so cool on the inside! Lots of different rooms. Our server was very nice and stayed on top of things even though you could tell they were short staffed. We will definitely come back!
Went today (Saturday) for my husbands birthday. Took 5 minutes for a hostess to show up. When she finally did, she took my name cell phone number down and told us 30-45 min wait. Then said we are all set. I asked her if I was going to get a text when the table is ready. She said “we CAN call you.” We thanked her and went outside since the waiting area was extremely crowded. It’s been 1.5 hours now, no call. Extremely upset, poor management.
We ate dinner at Buca Di Beppo on Friday 3/26 due to all the restaurants we wanted to go to having extremely long waits. We should’ve just walked out this place when we saw how empty it was, but we didn’t want to be those people so we gave them a chance. The server was nice, nothing wrong with the service, but the food was honestly disgusting. We boxed up the food, but just threw it out when we got home. And both were sick from this restaurant with food poisoning. Please stay away from this place.
Our experience started as soon as we walked thru the door...the manager/host was busy looking at his phone with the hostess and could not take the time to even acknowledge that we had walked in the door. When we were finally seated they didn’t have the beer that my husband asked for (nothing extravagant—Bud Light) and when he asked what else they had to offer, the waitress had no clue. When we realized that it would cost us close to $200 if the 4 of us each ordered something different, we decided to leave. We went to Buddy’s Pizza instead, we were greeted and seated instantly, and our server Joe, was amazing. Now, time to go and give Buddy’s a 5-star review!
What can I say Buca Di Beppo is amazing!!! I love the food and decor inside the restaurant. Our server Taleah was amazing she was attentive and made our dining experience remarkable. My Wife and I ordered a Roman tiki and Manhattan per our servers recommendation and were pleased. We also ordered the chicken parmigian and penne remo pasta and were very happy with the portion size. Will be coming back soon.
Excellent! Cannot say enough about the food and service. Derrick went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our lunch and explained the menu and offered suggestions. Manager Glen stopped by to see if we needed anything. If you have not eaten here you must stop in and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere.
Talk about a lot of food!we were greeted kindly by the host as she took us on a tour around the restaurant to show us the different seating experiences they had which was amazing. Lori our sever was very nice and answered any questions we had. the food portions are big so if u are expecting a single portion you are in for a surprised. the portions can feed 4 ppl and up! that was my only negative was the portion sizes i wish they had an option for smaller portions lol but it was stated that it is a family style restaurant. but the manager came to our table to check and chat with us, which we loved. because most places usually have their nose in the air and talk to their high paying regulars. but he treated us so well that it literally left us an impression to come back and to bring our family and friends here too.food is amazing and taste home made. the portions are huge, service is a 5 star experience, and scenery is amazing.
We drove an hour to have dinner here and will never be coming back. From the ridiculous amount of time it took for your staff to figure out how to book a reservation, to the reservation time being incorrect when we arrived - and then you calling to confirm our reservation a day later (for another incorrect day that we never even made a reservation for), to the HORRIBLE service we had...We sat at our table for 20 minutes before being greeted, our sever never brought plates to use to eat our appetizer, our server never brought or even offered bread (we had to ask), our order was incorrect and by the time one of our guest received his correct order, he was done with the rest of his meal as was everyone else at the table. It was a Friday night and there were hardly any guests in the entire restaurant... I now understand why. We paid $120 for 3 of us to enjoy a meal here which is absolutely ridiculous for the experience we had.
We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, Chopped Antipasti Salad and House Bread for a graduation party. The sauce for the Alfredo was very bland. Similar to any bottled bland sauce you can buy at a grocery store. No mater how much sauce we put in the pasta it remained dry in texture. No creamy decadence. The chopped salad lacked toppings, meat to be exact. The bread was okay. Honestly, I keep trying to go back and enjoy the food that once was pretty yummy. They just don’t seem to be able to bring their product line back what it was in the beginning.
We always have a good time and an excellent meal here. Food is fresh, tasty, and portions are huge. The portion sizes on the menu are only accurate if you only order that dish to feed the number of people in your party. If you want a variety, go small unless you want LOTS of leftovers. Leftovers will be packaged nicely and still reheat well, so no worries if you take a bunch home. :)
This place is awesome. It is a fine family Italian restaurant. The chicken marsala was wonderful. Friends had spaghetti and meatballs oh my God I never saw meatballs that big. The Italian sangria I was just so so. For dessert we all shared a brownie Sunday that was so large five of us Aid off of it. I highly recommend it. Probably the best Italian that Ive had in a very long time all of it is served family style.
The food is wayyy to expensive for the taste. Protip, just bring cheese whenever someone orders pasta. This will allow you to skimp on ingredients and still have tasty food. The mighty favorite Buca has fallen to obscurity. The only people still enjoying Bucas is tasting nostalgia, not the food. The sweet salad was good, but of course sugar tastes good.
This is one of our favorite places to go when we have a big group for dinner. It is nice to sit down and order and eat family style without having to do all of the cooking. The service is always wonderful and food is delicious. I love the way the restraunt is decorated and that you get to tour through the kitchen. Very cozy setting, I could spend all day walking around looking at the pictures on the walls!
I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this great place. happy to tell that we had a delightful evening and the place was absolutely the reason for this fruitful meeting. The stuff cooperated in a very nice style, the cuisine was great and my friends were extremely joyful. We shall surely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
This is a real restaurant, the kind you expect to spend a couple of hours at with family and friends. The food is very good, but expect a larger price tag because the portions are larger. The larger dishes are family style so they are designed to be shared out onto everyones plate and tried together. So if you are always wishing you could sample more choices, choose this one and go with a group. They have a unique decor with pictures lining the walls and a very Italian feel from the memorabilia to the color schemes. Go lose yourself for an afternoon or evening. Oh, and DO try the bread and dipping oil. They are well-known locally for their bread. Once you visit, youll be showing it off to someone else you know. :)
We went here for our Wedding Anniversary had a Great time the mgt. took us and showed us all the rooms and Kitchen it was very nice our Server Kelly was the best, we even bought a gift certificate for our son for his birthday so we can go back with him. Thank for a good Dinner and dessert❤️
I am so sad to be writing this. I LOVE Buca, heck my wedding was even catered by Buca. Today I was beyond excited to go in tonight, but that excitement was short lived. I was ready for the service to be slower than usual because today was the first day back after the covid closure. I could have overlooked that but what I cannot over look is the poor service, the bland food and the 5 times we needed to wait to have something corrected.I know these are hard times and everyone is adjusting BUT if youre going to charge 150+ for two people for dinner the service needs to be way better.UPDATED REVIEW*****I guess I forgot how bad this location was because I went back tonight and was served RAW CHICKEN! The waitress didnt say sorry but offered to recook it. When I said I wasnt interested she told it would be taken off the bill and Id get a free dessert...Yeah thats not making up for the food poisoning you almost hit me with.
Decent family portions for a great price. Why spend $50 at Olive garden for two people when you could spend $50 here and get enough food for 4 people! Typically no wait time, extremely friendly staff that seem to actually enjoy talking to you, I honestly find it difficult to see anything bad about Bucas. Weve been coming every year for small parties and every so often just a normal dinner, and honestly the food has always been flawless. Ill be back soon!
The experience brought a big smile to my face. From the moment we stepped in the hostess was welcoming and friendly. The serving staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and made my wifes birthday very memorable. We had the Veal Parmigiano and a prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed chicken that were delicious. It was our first visit but not our last.
I never have a bad time here. The staff is always super attentive, food is always good, and regardless of how many times Ive been there, I always see something new! You cant go wrong here. In fact, my daughter convinced her Homecoming crew to go there for dinner tonight!
Great experience! Matt our server was excellent. Very attentive and smiling. Our meal was very good. And Glenn the general manager personally greeted us at our table. When your seated, they walk you through the kitchen. We were seated in the brick room, one of nine dining rooms. I recommend Buca di Beppo wholeheartedly!!

2022-05-27Definitely wont be back here anytime soon. A real quantity over quality place it seemed. That is their thing though massive quantities for groups of three or more people. If theres only two of you definitely plan on taking a good amount of food home. We basically got a sampler and our pasta had several issues, parts of it was dry and hard crunchy, one of the pieces I had had a fishy taste to it and had obviously come into contact with something fishy it seemed. You can see a really dry and crispy stuffed shell in the one photo. When speaking to the manager we were told it had only chicken in it. The manager also told us how the individual who owns the restaurant chain likes to go around and buy out restaurants that are having difficulties and going through bankruptcy, I thought that was something that could have been kept to himself was kind of a weird thing to brag about. Other than that I never knew a little olive oil and some balsamic came together so well for dipping bread in. The place is also really well decorated and very compartmentalized, there are a lot of individual rooms which make it pretty cool, felt like a maze when we were being walked to our table!

2021-09-25September 2021 - family style dinner. My 6yr old daughter wanted to eat here for her birthday. She loves the spaghetti and Meatballs. The thin pizza for kids with pepperoni was very good. Overall a nice place to take the family or a date. A lot of food so come hungry.

2021-12-24We placed an order a day in advance. We came and had drinks at the bar early. Brooklyn was great and She made strong drinks. We asked Brooklyn to check on our to go order. However, 45 min after our pick up time and multiple times of checking in the order they said they were very short staffed and were running behind. When we finally got home to eat our food the ziti was very dry and didnt have much marinara. They shrimp penne didnt have much shrimp. The lasagna was also very dry. Wouldnt recommend getting food to go, especially on a holiday. We also witnessed people being at the bar for 20 min, never getting server and seated without beverages.

2022-06-30We booked a family dinner for 40 guests 2 days before our meeting date. With the assistance of very friendly staff a preset menu was created to accommodate all guests to consider children, vegetarian, and dairy free restrictions. The food was fresh, delicious and very plentiful. Everyone was very happy to have food to take home. Thank you to the staff for making sure our family gathering was a beautiful celebration! Salute!

2022-06-02This was our first time dining at Buca di Beppo. Great experience. We had Denise as our server. She was so sweet and helpful. She kept checking on us throughout the meal. We ordered the quatro platter and thought the stuffed shells had only cheese, turns out they had suasage in them. We dont eat pork. The menu didnt specify what theyre stuffed with and I didnt ask. Regardless, she got us a vegetarian platter immediately. The pasta platter did have a couple spots of dry pasta due to not having sauce, cheese, or any type of oil/butter on them. Still, it was pretty delicious and plentiful. The ceaser salad was fantastic! The house bread was fresh but boring (no butter, cheese, or seasoning on it, but the olive oil n balsamic vinegar that came with it made it tasty.Pricing is a lil heavier since the portions are meant for 2 - 3. We will definitely be back with the family since they are family portions! Thanks Denise for making our first visit great!P.s, to whomever is in charge @ Buca, I suggest to specify where and what type of meat there will be in your food since your location is in a culturally diverse area that caters to various non meat/pork consuming patrons, religions, vegans, vegetarians, etc...Also, i see the other reviewers complaing about dry pasta as well... please look into it.

2021-12-23I’m a big fan of the family style dining and fresh fast food service that I’ve come to expect from being a long time customer. This location has experienced many changes (understandable due to COVID) however I try to provide loyalty by ordering takeout and still eating here with family. First, I was denied wine due to an expired identification. Which, I’m happy to follow the restaurant restrictions. Then the food came out cold, when I notified the waiter we were scolded for having tried the food. How else were we to know if it was the correct temperature? As we were assured the food was seen coming out the oven (still cold) we were served another cold appetizer. The manager came out and offered $10 off of the $100 meal, customer experience is so important and I hope to see this restaurant restored back to quality service and food that is expected. I’m not going to be returning to this location, after 11 years this was the final straw. We work too hard and are all experiencing some strain these days, it truly ruined what should’ve been a nice family meal for us.

2022-02-12Great food and a fun experience. This truly felt like an Italian meal in someone’s home. Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Mozzarella Garlic Bread, and Mixed Greens Salad all were fantastic. Our server Brandy was amazing and explained all the decor and different dining rooms to us. This made it a fun experience and it was neat place to look around a bit.

2022-04-02Excellent Italian dining. Out of all the places on Hall Rd, we always end up here. Seriously, Ive never been disappointed; food and drinks are always spot on. Whether you go with the Italian sausage, chicken parm, or classic meatballs, you will for sure get your fill, have fun, and enjoy yourself. Melissa is a great manager, very friendly with a great smile, and Kylie did a great job as our server. Once again, leaving full on a good note. 👍
