Comment: This location is very shady. I rented an all wheel drive Toyota 4 Runner. The car smelled like smoke, had a very dirty interior and after driving it for a mile the maintenance required light turned on. Upon returning the car, the interior was nicer than when I received it and the exterior had an expected amount of dirt on it from bringing an suv to the mountains (I posted pictures so you can see the vehicle was not abnormally dirty). The owner of this franchise tried to charge me a $50 cleaning fee. I refused that and just brought the car to an express car wash. I am thinking this is the common practice of this budget location and they just hope the customer returning their vehicles don’t have time to bring the car to get cleaned and just accept the outrageous $50 charge. I sincerely hope others read this review so they can avoid the hassle and rent from another location.

Comment: I typically rent from Budget at Ontario Airport and they have always been great. However, the Standard Elite SUV was not available at the airport, but it was offered at this location. When I arrived, there wasnt any SUV and was given a minivan. I didnt inspect it well enough and discovered that it was poorly maintained. It smelled musty which I was blamed for and had to pay additional $100 for deep cleaning (I found Doritos and someones hair under the seat). There were stains in the upholstery and there were no floor mats and worse of all, the tires were nearly bald. I was nervous driving it as it didnt grip the road well. When I mentioned the worn tires, she said the tires were fine. She obviously doesnt know how to do the quarter tire test, but here was no need for using a quarter, it was very visible that the threads were worn off down the center. If it rained, I would have been sliding everywhere. Another con is the hours of this location. I couldnt make it back by 5pm closing. There wasnt a key drop box like other car rental offices, so I had to bring it first thing in the morning and was charged for an entire day +late fee + an additional day of insurance. The only pro was that it was hybrid and saved me on gas (which didnt matter since I was charge for cleaning (even after I washed the car and had it vacuumed before dropping off).The Budget at the other airport location is much better as there are more cars to choose from since they are shared with other car rental agencies.

Comment: I reserved a small car and on my way to pick up the car I called, i was having trouble locating the building, my calls ignored.Once I arrived, I was spoken to like a child, Im 60 years old.She said dont smoke in the car, and dont let anyone else drive, and make sure to fill the tank back up. And dont have any pets in the car. So we go to retrieve the car, and its a truck, a dirty truck. We passed all the clean trucks and this was what she gave me. And clearly an animal had been in it, you can tell from windshield, flees, and dog hairs. I will never ever rent here again.Sincerely Donna Smith

This location not only has great cars but excellent competitive prices that usually beat the daylights out of nearby competitors. Great service and selection with a personal touch. Highly recommend!N.B: the insurance prices little bit more expensive than the other prices.

Comment: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BUDGET LOCATION IF YOU HAVE TRAVEL PLANS!! This location overbooked. I reserved a 4-door car one week in advance for travel to NoCal. When I went to pick up my rental the sales person offered me a 2-door Mustang. I was traveling with kids, but that didn’t seem to matter to her. Her response was that they only have to offer a small car not the specific car class. That’s absurd. Then What’s the point of reserving a car in advance??!!. To make matters worse, their office didn’t even have the courtesy to call to let me know that they didn’t have my vehicle type available, which delayed my travel plans. Lesson learned. I’ll stick to renting from the airport locations and I won’t be renting from these small satellite locations again.

Comment: Do not rent from Budget! Horrible! We rented a 26 truck for moving out-of-state and a trailer to tow our car. After packing the truck and getting our kids and animals ready to go, we went to put the car on the trailer. The lights on the trailer didnt work properly and with the car on the trailer we couldnt open the doors to get out of the car. So we took the car off the trailer and then the ramps wouldnt go back into the trailer. So we call roadside assistance and the lady Mindy was RUDE!, telling us they couldnt help us and we had to wait until the office opened the next morning. NEVER AGAIN!
