Comment: We rented a Dodge Durango this past weekend 9/09/23. Car was cool. Smelled like cigar big time! Customer service was good until we realized the next day that the guys there didn’t even take the time to clean the car well enough. We found two different roaches in there. A live one with a egg shell still attached (fkn disgusting!) and the other kind! People need to leave their cockroaches at home. Yuck!! I had to make sure I checked everything before bringing our stuff out of the car. I had my kids with me and them seeing this other roach was DEFINITELY NOT ok!!! Overall the ride felt good roundtrip from Lancaster to San Diego.

Comment: The last place anyone should go for anything to do with renting a car. I left there angry, price gouged, up charged and lied to by a rude employee who told me the weekly rate (reflected clearly upon the paperwork we signed when picking up the car) $299 wk, was only for the first week...and since we originally only reserved the car for 6 days, it didnt apply at all. We ended up keepg the car for 4 weeks and 4 days. Instead of 4x$299 + 4x50, they charged us for 32 individual days @$50 per day and an additional $10 for every time we decided to use their product for additional time...an additional $300-500. One would think a company whould encourage customers to use their product longer - not penalize them for it. Their advertising clearly states that they will not charge for changes to drop off time, I will look forward to seeing them in court. Walk, call an Uber, do anything but patronize this business. I am not exaggerating in any way...we are now challenging the credit card charges and will eventually end up in court over this nightmare of a business.

Alan said it just depends if the last customer turns in the car or not on time .I would expect this kind of service from may be more of a team member and not a supervisor I am most definitely will not be paying for any services especially if this is the initial service I received. My suggestion to Alan is if he is going to work here He should be more informative he should have more information as to the business he is working for.

Comment: Prepaid a 7 passenger suv for 9am on a Saturday for a weekend excursion. Walked a mile to the location to pick it up. Arrived at 9:10, stood in line for 20 minutes only to be told the car wasn’t available. Agent gave the ole “our computers were down and let anyone book everything” bs excuse. He said it would be back in a few minutes. 30 minutes later... no car, no call to the renter, no call to another location, no offer of a different vehicle.I would call corporate to request a credit, but these people are too unprofessional to do business with even if it’s free.Never had an unpleasant experience with Enterprise; I’m sticking with them from now on.

Comment: My entire experience was amazing! I made a reservation at 1123 am for the 12p.m slot but showed up at 1130 and was immediately helped. I know there wont always be a car ready that quick but thats ok. It was the professional staff that impressed me. There were 2 or 3 different young men there. They were kind and quick to get everything signed, checked and out the door. When I called for an extension, it was nothing but a few moments of my time. Last but not least, the return process was even easier. Im actually planning to reserve a car for this week again ( after I finish this survey). AMAZING 20 outta 10 experience. Comment: This is the second time I received a car from this agent that wasnt acceptable. The first time I was offered a free upgrade and then taken to a car with a huge crack in the windshield. When I objected I was told that it was the only car available. Im pretty sure the guy wanted me to take that car so they could get the insurance I purchased to pay for the windshield. This last time I checked the outside and everything seemed to be okay. Then I opened the back door and there were huge stains on the back seat. I called the guy back and he seemed hesitant to come. I had to call him three times before he came back and I could show him the stains. I had him mark them down and then I wondered if they had been planning on trying to make me pay the $250 cleaning fee. I mentioned the stains when I returned the car and the guy said they knew about them. So why did they rent it out? The car hadnt even been vacuumed. I definitely did not feel like it was safe and sanitized. I will rent from the ladies on Avenue J from now on. Ive never had a problem there.

Comment: When we were driving the van on the freeway the sliding door flew open and would not latch again when closed. We had babies in the van and they were very traumatized. The employees at the rental place on 10th street west were very unsympathetic and not helpful at all. But when I called customer service they were very helpful and agreed to refund my rental fees. I will never deal with budget on 10th street west again! I usually only go to the one on ave J. The girl is always on top of everything and has everything ready for me.

Couldnt show me but insisted that he could not complete the rental without the additional credit card hold. To be clear we reviewed the entire agreement in my conformation email as well as the information listed on the Budget website. No such policy was listed. I felt railroaded. Would stick with Enterprise knowing what I know now.

Our car had broke down about three weeks ago so we have been renting a car from this location since then, and last week when we drove from Alhambra to pick up our car from a shop in Lancaster, The car was not ready and budget was sold out. Albert was able to Re-rent us the car and at a better price than what we originally rented the car for on the internet. He really knows his job and the products well. This place can sell out and can get busy, but well worth it and Albert will do the best he can to accommodate you.

Comment: Representative Service at the counter: 5/5, I made the reservation online and when I got there the gentleman informed me that the online price (coupon was used) had an error and additional charges were being charged. Zeek (sic) spoke clearly, made eye contact, and ensured that the “extra” charges were not charged.Time of service was a 3/5: only one person handling a large group of customers. Pick-up time was 0900 and by then the guy had 5 customers in line.Cleanliness of the establishment: 2/5, building is old, floor is torn, smells weird and the counter was sticky and cluttered.Car: 0/5, several reasons: car was being “detailed” guy brought it over and there were dirt smudges all on the car and windows. Inside the car there was a strange smell to it. We couldn’t pin point it, old cigarettes or must… the guy who “detailed” the vehicle explained that it was just washed and detailed.I should have listened to my gut and requested something different. BUT it was cold outside and the dude inside was alone dealing with the large amount of people. Yes, I could have thought about what I needed not what someone else needs… it gets worst. Once I arrived home and picked up my husband he pulled down the visor and a sticker with the word ‘sausage’ was on it. He goes to put on his seatbelt and some red, dried up something was smeared on the car and seatbelt. Now I am on hold with customer service because the tire sensor has gone off, I checked the tire pressure and that’s not the problem. Spoke with Zeek and he is exchanging the car out for me, as long as the gas tank is full.I get it, it’s not BUDGETS fault how renters use the vehicle. It is BUDGETS responsibility to ensure all vehicles are up to par.****I will update my review AFTER I switch out vehicles.

Comment: Actually bought a car from TruCar via budget auto sales. Its been a month now and I still havent received my initial $200 + $200 = $400 deposits I was told to give to test drive the car.I have been sent to customer service by store. Customer Service sent me to Budget Car Sales. Budget Car Sales told me today that Juan Rodriguez told them to hold the $400.Who the hell is Juan Rodriguez?? Asked for his number... Tracy the agent at Budget Car Sales told me shed call me with his number.... Im still waitingHorrible serviceI regret ever dealing with this company

Comment: Reserved a car for Wednesday online and when I went to pick it up I was told they needed to hold $100 on my account until car was returned. NO WHERE DID IT MENTIONED THIS ONLINE!! I agreed to this joe or whatever his name said itll be available within 1-2 days. I returned the car Thursday morning at 8 and everything was fine. Now Sunday and money is not in my account. Budget claimed it was amex fault so got on the phone with them. FULL OF CRAP it was budget holding it. Constantly kept me on hold, wouldnt speak to me whatsoever even my wife tried to call. Had to call the bill department who said it would actually take 3-5 business days. AVOID THIS PLACE AND HEADACHE BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW THEIR CRAP AND THEIR WAY OF SOLVING PROBLEMS IS BY PUTTING YOU ON HOLD AND NOT ANSWERING. NEVER AGAIN!!!!😡😡😡

Comment: Albert is the best. Ive rented alot of cars and delt with other rental companys but I always go back to Budget where Albert has helped me so many times and always treated me right. Have never had a bad experience there, thats why I rent my cars there and no where else. Have rented at least 30 cars from them. If you had a bad experience there it would have been because of yourself, because nothing but polite and considerate they have been.
