Really should have no stars. We bought a home and planned to move on Saturday. Ordered the truck online on Monday got a confirmation on Thursday for the truck from 11:00am to 4:30 pm. On Saturday at 11am I got there and they told me they didnt have a truck for us and that they go off of a balance system. That they might have a truck around 3 but that wasnt for sure. There were several trucks in the parking lot sitting there. The never called yes back and we had everyone sitting at our old house waiting for me to come with the truck to move. We ended yes giving people gas money to help us. Then on Monday they charged my card $50.00 for a truck we never got. One out of 3 people I talked to apologized for its inconveniences and to top it off now we have to wait for 7 business days for our money they should have never taken to begin with.

I just want to Thank You ( Budget) for my rental this past weekend.On Friday I reserved online for a truck for Saturday in Westland Mi. I was called a few hours later (just before they closed) to be told They are canceling my reservation because they did not realize they had no trucks and only had broken ones.When I asked if they could help me find a truck at another location she said no. we dont do that but to call customer service.I caller customer service, explained the situation and my frustration and he was able to help me find another truck.Saturday morning, I go to pick up the truck in Livonia MI, to be told I dont have your reservation. I give him my confirmation # and he said oh yea, I see it. well they shouldnt have booked you. I have no trucks.Again, I ask for help to find another truck since my family and I were moving that day and again no, we dont do that -you need to call customer service.I call customer service and explain this is the 2nd time I reserved, got a confirmation # and no truck.Rudely, she stated I will have our inventory manager contact you to help you find a truck in 2-4 hours.She refused to give me any managers/owners names of the places I already visited or even her supervisor.frustrated, I went to U haul and had a truck in 20 min.Budget, I will be submitting my Uhaul Bill for you to reimburse me and expect it to be paid in full.Your service is poor, outrageous and possibly on the verge of consumer fraud.I would like to be contacted over this issue as I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Fraud Protection division of the State Attorney General.My 1st experience with your company and cannot believe how you are still in business given your total lack of care or customer service.

I warn anyone who values their own business and reputation! Renting a commercial truck from Budget will definitely hurt both! Rates and terms sound great until the final invoice is printed and they get their hands on your card information, or one of their piece-of-crap trucks breaks down. They wont provide you with a replacement until one of their (outsourced) technicians comes out 4 hours later only to determine that you need one. And then that wont show up for another 4 hours. If you still do decide to do it to yourself - be prepared to lose your load and to get charged by Budget for it. You will however get a not even $60 discount to help you out with your negative $2000 weekend. I truly hope they go under!

Reserved truck and car carrier at 10am Friday, with a pick up time at 8am Saturday. We arrive at 8am Saturday and they do not have the car carrier. The associate then tells me he cannot make accommodations to any Budget Rentals on my route. I then had to wait for another Budget to open and take the budget truck and pick up the car carrier. Waste of time and money. Was not convenient at all. Great start to my move.

We made a reservation over the phone several days before, but when we showed up the guy at the front desk said that the reservation didn’t matter. He then told us to call them to find another truck “somewhere in the area”...while he was sitting there. Won’t be using Budget Truck Rental again.

No stars! But that was not a option! We rented a moving truck from this Westland location March 2, 2019. We were moving to Las Vegas Nevada. By them knowing the location to where we was going you would think they would of gave us a newer truck, well that didn’t happen. They gave us a truck that when we first got it the check engine light was on my boyfriend told them about that and they said that they just changed the oil and they didn’t rest the truck but everything was fine. So we got on the road and noticed that the transmission was giving out we had to but ALOT of transmission fluid and finally the transmission gave out! We was stuck on the side of the road with my TWO KIDS FOR HOURS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE!! We called the customer service and road side and was on hold for hours!!! They act like they didn’t care! And didn’t wanna give us a refund!! I don’t recommend this company at all and I will be reaching out to corporate!

The one employee is ignorant! He is rude and had no customer service skills. They have you waiting outside in line for no reason in the hot sun when there is plenty of space to safely socially distance inside of the store. Why have circles on the floor to mark off the safe distance and chairs if you arent going to use them..

Best place to rent a truck fromhas all the lift gate truckstrucks are clean and ready to gobetter than Uhaul..I use budget from this location anytime I need a business rental truck

Sign says open till 4pm and yet guy tells me they are closed. In addition, a lot full of trucks, but all are booked? ZERO STARS!
