Waiting in line for 35min sucked, but there wasnt a lot of options open on a Sunday night, let alone places open and properly staffed. So sans the waiting due to them only having two people in the building, the food was hot, the order was made perfectly, and the employee at the speaker was very informative.
The staff are very friendly and they generally do a good job. Food is good for BK. Its just a poorly operated location – mismanaged and short-staffed. Wait time is usually 2-3 minutes per car during lunch and 4-5 minutes per car in the evening. Meaning sometimes youre waiting 30+ minutes on food and thinking you could have just gone to Meijer. They also close earlier than listed, but I cant seem to figure out what time that is. Then you have to go through customer support to get a refund on your order. Ugh. Again, the workers themselves are great.
The fish sandwich tasted like it came from mcdonalds. Apparently they have the same supplier for frozen fish patties. To add employee Norman was rude to every customer that drove up to the drive thru box to order and for that most customers drove off (3/16/2022). Employee Norman decided to curse at my wife causing me to go off on the employee. Informing him that no one forced him to work at BK and if he didnt want to work to go home. The employee continue with the disrespect and I informed the employee that we can have a discussion outside of bk about his disrespect to my wife and other customers.
WORTH THE WAIT! Person working the drive thru had an attention to detail the likes of which I have not seen in this industry in eons. They gave us a double-stacked drink carrier, serving as a rigid carapace to protect ourselves from careless spills. Our order was fairly big, with 2 bags of food. They realized we were struggling to handle so much, so the lovely person gave us an additional large bag to help us handle it. Very attentive! Asked us is we had any further requests, even! We thanked them, and went on our merry way. Next came the oh-so-critical moment in every fast food experience. So many fast food restaurants have issues with getting the order right. To our delight, all of the meals had exceeded all expectation. I was nervous to try their chicken fries, but was incredibly pleased. They arent as good as chicken tenders, but they were great! We had all the sauces and napkins we asked for. All the drinks met specification. A most memorable trip, and the finest fast food experience I have ever had in Michigan! Well done!
Love how you guys chose to close the dining room when that’s where delivery drivers were expected to pick up orders for customers. Instead you make us wait in an unbelievably long line because you can’t get your heads out of your arses long enough to take a simple order. I’m sure the lobby is closed because you don’t want to clean bathrooms for $12/hr. Newsflash - you’re horrible.
I keep going here and receiving incredibly slow service. I went here for the last time when I was the fifth car back from the order screen, and waited 25 minutes, only to be told at 11:03 pm, when I finally got up to the order screen, that they closed at 11. The workers need help, its not their fault, management needs to fix this. I wont be going back here again.
Nothing was fresh. Presentation was terrible,wait time was sorry for a so call fast food more like the slowest food,for the first time ever have I seen service to a person walking.Yes I said it!!! they changed the game,two people were on foot and served I was to shocked to get a photo.Done with Bk@ Washtenaw/Golfside after I was turned away when I was on my 2 wheeler bike b4 I tried it but unfortunately it wasnt my day !ol ,but not funny!!!
I used to go for impossible burger but they just cook it with the rest of the meat so I get sick when they do so instead of microwaving like they should. The absolute worst fast food restaurant in the area, and I never thought anything could be worse than the local Wendys but yup its you
Waited 15 minutes for food which is understandable, but after waiting and receiving nasty, cold, sloppy food and not getting napkins to top it off is BS. I Ended up not eating it because it looked so disgusting and cold!! It’s hard to get me to waste food, but something was off about these burgers. I have pictures but it won’t let me post!
Friendly staff,theres a young person there a guy thats so professional and nice. i think hes either mexican or italian. but he speaks very well at the drive thru and hes very patient! the salad is wonderful..just wish they stayed open longer like MacDonalds which sucks!
I was a McDonalds store manager 20 years ago, so this review is based on my experiences and the high standards and quality that I expect. The lobby and fountain areas were very clean and none of the trash cans were full. I didnt check the bathrooms.Some of the younger employees, especially ones that work the front counter, seem to be a bit immature or undertrained. The older workers are doing a much better job and are definitely pulling the extra weight. Thats really too bad because I know that they are not being compensated for the extra effort. I always enjoy making small talk with them and try to brighten their day a bit! Working fast food can really be a grind. The grill staff were quite slow the last time I was there also... I waited for a good 5 minutes for my sandwich and not my onion rings which I something as I would expect. Unfortunately I found a hair in my onion rings this time, really ending my appetite. Getting hair in the rings or fries is NOT as easy as you might think... Just a tip: if you find hair in yours, definitely ask for new box. (I had taken mine home and couldnt get back so I couldnt do anything about it. Im open to the management contacting me to resolve this issue.)BTW, I LOVE the new Rodeo King... It seems bigger than my head!
Why did I not listen to the reviews?! I am writing this in the drive thru after waiting 30 minutes and still not having my food. Please go to this place when you’re hungry if you want your time to be wasted and your appetite to be lost from you waiting so long that you forgot you were hungry.
Great service from the young lady at the window. But!!! Im trying to figure out why Burger King is selling a 10 piece chicken nugget for $2.99, YET!!! an 8 piece is $1.00. Ok, Burger King please make that make sense to me 🤔 You do realize I can get a 24 piece for $3.00.
My wife and I go to Burger King locations all over the country and have never felt so disrespected at a burger king before. The manager lied about being able to give condiments and bobbed her head as she got snappy with both of us. The manager there is very unprofessional and wears a sleep cap instead of a hat, doesnt tuck in her shirt, or wash her hands after touching the register before touching food! I urge anyone thinking about going to this location to go to any other location instead!
Bad customer service. Wouldnt let me upgrade the fries from my coupon even though I have done that same coupon at several other locations multiple times and they allowed me to upgrade it there. The location participated very minimally in corporate Burger Kings winter reward system.
First of all, Burger Kings have the most flavorful hamburgers of all the fast food restaurants including more upscale places. I dont get cheese or bacon on my burgers so I only speak about meat flavor and you can have it your way since they assemble the sandwich after you order it. If you can get it straight from the grill its even better. Their French fries are good also.BKs big problem for a while has been the cleanliness of their restaurants inside and outside and I can only talk about the 2 BKs on either side of Ypsilanti in this regard . I just hope the rest of the food service areas are cleaner than the floors in those areas.Otherwise Id give them 5 Stars.
The food was terrible, the burger was blunt and the nuggets undercook. Customer service was super rude. When she gave me my food, she just handed the bag of food to me and didnt even talk to me. I had to ask her if it all The food was in the bag and with the window closed she barely said yes.Never coming to this place again. I spent $20 and I didnt even finish my food because of how terrible it was. Very disappointing.
Not only was there a long wait, the cashier shorted my change. Then I started to nibble on my nuggets...UUUGH! THEY WERE BURNT! DRIED TO A CRISP! I backed up and went inside.The ONLY good part of this visit was the very pleasant manager. She made me some fresh ones!KUDOS TO THAT MANAGER!!!
My favorite place to go for midnight snack. The service is always quick and my food is always fresh. This is one of the most positive, and friendly night-shift teams around, compared to other nearby chains that stay open late (cough, mcdonalds, cough cough). Keep Up the good work, guys!
First off they sold us a a sour dough bread that they no longer carry. Which is still listed on the menu to two different places. Then we were charged for 3 meals to replace the 2 sour dough meals. Sothe refund was like pulling teeth. As bad as this experience was, it continued onwards. All together we purchased 6 meals for our crew. But only ended up with five fries and burgers. When we asked where the last meal was we were informed the we already received it. To which we replied that we did not. But she was quick to confirm that it was at the table already. So we then said come and look then. So finely we get the last meal 20 minutes later.. So long burger king never to return
Wait was short and the food I DID receive was good. But I got home I realized there was no 10 pc chicken nuggets in the bag. Check your bag before you leave the drive through! Seems like no place on this stretch of Washtenaw remembers your whole order (looking at you Taco Bell).
Got there at 1am and ordered, then 15 minutes later I was still in line waiting to pay and get my food so I went to McDonalds. Got the vibe there is either conflict among the workers or they are understaffed bc the guy taking my order was somewhat rude and I am a friendly polite person so there must have been something going on. Maybe having a bad day who knows, maybe eating the food I ordered cheered them up lol
This was the very 1st and very last time I will come to this location. Staff are extremely rude. I had ordered through the drive-through , when I pulled up, The girl taking the order said what do you want . It caught me off guard, but I ordered anyways, she didnt tell me a total, just said to pull to the window. She told me my total and I paid her. She acted as though she was strung out on some drugs. Acting very lethargic, almost like she wasnt even aware of whats going on around her. Counted my change 4 times to give back to me, still didnt get it right. Just handed it to me and said here. (She actually overpaid me) All she had to do was give me back the amount on the receipt. But she couldnt even do that. Then I got to the 2nd window to pick up my food and the lady there pushed it out the window at me and said here you go. This is the most unprofessional fast food place I have ever been to.
Just went there and at the drive in I made the mistake of saying regular fry. He asked me what size four times and then finally condescendingly said, I dont know what a regular fry is. Do you want a value, small, medium or Large. If that is what you wanted to hear why did you pretend that you couldnt understand what I was saying? After they came, the fries tasted like they were refrigerated and reheated. I threw them away and went to McDonalds. Not the first time this location has given me bad food. Shake machine is always down and customer service is always terrible.
I was passing through Ypsilanti on my way back to Ann Arbor and ordered a 2 classic chicken sandwich and 2 fry meal using a coupon. Upon receiving my food I checked to make sure that all my food was in the bag and it was. When I arrived at home the chicken was so burnt it was darker then my sons skin. I could smell how nasty the chicken smelled once I unwrapped it.I called and complained, drove all the way back with a hungry child and yet and yet I was only given a refund AND THE EXCUSE was that there was fresh grease and the man even told me he didn’t eat chicken so he didn’t know what was wrong, and if the food was unacceptable to me, then that’s me. I wasted gas, had poor customer service, and clearly there poor management. If I could give this 0 stars I absolutely would.
They need an audit atleast every month. Those employees are impolite and they gave me 40 pcs chicken nuggets when i was actually ordering for only 20 pcs. They were trying to argue with me like they were right. I was calm trying to tell them what i want. I wasnt satisfied at all as a customer. Why do they have to stress me out when i just wanted my order correctly addressed so i could get the food of my choice. Then the manager came like she was advocating her rude people. She looked like she was gonna punch me in the face. Never coming back. Bye burger king..
I have been to BKs through out the country and even over seas this is by far the worst. Me and my roommate came here to grab food before he left for work, and we waited almost 10 minutes for chicken fries/rings, shakes, and a hotdog. Im beyond unimpressed the employee was rude and messed up our order. We barely had time to eat before my roommate had to leave. He didnt even finish. Ill never be back.
Employees dont want to work. Fire people who do so they can hire their buddies in that dont want to work. Rude staff. Every time I spoke to order, the cashier rudely kept saying Hm? Like he wasnt even listening. Very dirty on the inside, food all over floors and sticky. They dont sweep or scrub. If the front is that bad, just imagine the food prep areas... never again.
This Burger King has gone down hill. It is being run into the ground. I know people who worked there, yes (WORKED THERE) past tense the food it under cooked or left in heating trays for hours on end. It takes to long to get FAST FOOD. The employees are some of the most unsanitary, unkempt and untrained people that I have ever seen. The health department in the Better Business Bureau shut this place down and demolish it.
Was VERY angry with this location tonight. Normally great staff but this one would not listen and after three repeated attempts still gave the wrong order. She actually told me “what the Hell is wrong with your man? He giving me attitude when im trying to hold a conversation with you!?” All my husband did was tell her he was frustrated that she couldnt get the order correctly. Chelsea needs to get an attitude check.
After Today I see no reason to ever go to this place. I went in and tried to simply order a couple sandwiches for my coworkers and a meal for myself. The cashier was rude opening with are you gonna order or not then continued to act like she didnt want to deal with me. Then argued with me over whether I ordered my meal or not then said whatever Im not going to stand here and argue with you at this point I just told her never-mind Ill go to McDonalds (Not that the Washtenaw Micky Ds is much better).
This is hands-down the WORST Burger King in the country. I have visited it 3 times in the past, and each time I waited for over 20 minutes for service. The staff is completely incompetent. Today I thought that I would try just one more time, but after having waited in line (behind only one other person) for well over 15 minutes, I left. Do not give this establishment your business.
Not going back to this Burger King and am just giving them up all together. Thanks for the attitude, folks. Didnt bother with the food I purchased as it was cold. In the 4 years I have been occasionally going there, it has never changed in terms of employee quality, only a revamp of the exterior to compete with the neighboring McDonalds make-over (that McDs is equally bad). Vote with your wallet and hopefully someone or something will move in that seems to remotely care about your business dollar. Real shame as I (used to) occasionally enjoy a Whopper and generally prefer BKs taste to McDs if that says anything lol.
Unbelievable!!! Manager berated employee at the front counter so bad that his customer apologizes. Not your fault Joseph! Manager ignores customers with questions. Throws silverware because she has to get a spoon. Then...late employee gets unleashed on... F F F, M F get out and more for a least ten minutes. So bad the sheriff was called. Owner, please counsel you staff. No one deserves to be treated like that customers and employees unlike.
Standard Burger King but not like the good old days. The meat paddies are thinner. My wifes portion of onion rings was half the normal because they ran out & when she complained the mgr decided to make more. By the time we got them we were half done eating & they tasted artificial.
Ordered food from Burger King Website and optef for delivery.I was advised by the delivery guy not to order from this place as the food was prepared by people not wearing face masks and gloves.The food was not sealed as well.Did not consume the food and had to throw it away.Do not order food from this outlet.Very dissapointed.
They were closed due to lack of employees as per sign on their door window. They should have updated their listing on Google and saved me a useless trip to their location. Im sure Im not the only one who made that trip over the weekend and ended disappointed. Not sure if they are open again or not, recommend one call them first before driving to check and see if they are back in business or not.
Burger King may not necessarily be the best fast food place in the world but it is the best fast food joint in United States by far they broil the hamburgers I will have the biggest burgers in the fast food joint but not the biggest burgers in the restaurant business that only complies to fast food joints only deal if you want the biggest burgers in the fast-food joint go to Burger Burger King however if you want the biggest burgers in general then go to a different restaurant
Its very difficult when you have children trying to order something that have the later lady not know exactly what you want and finally when you get up to the counter and pick up your tray you think youre getting yours and you end up getting not yours with two people being senior citizens and a 8 year old boy it was difficult today thank you

2022-05-01I was on my way home from work after an excruciating shift where I worked 14 hours & the staff were extremely kind to me. I had asked for everything fresh because I just wanted a hot meal & a crisp drink to come home & relax with & they did that for me. The woman at the drive thru window was especially kind & asked if i was okay. Thank you to the staff for showing me just a little empathy, you guys made my night just a little more bearable.

2022-04-29Only car in line. Waited for about 10-15 minutes for a milkshake and cheese sticks. Literally nobody in line but me and at least 3 employees inside. After being patient for what seemed like eternity the girl that worked there asked me what I had ordered. I couldn’t believe it. I just asked for my money back and drove off. No apologies or nothing. If you can’t do these simple tasks at Burger King you’re chances at being successful in like are very slim. Just sad.

2022-03-30Very low quality service, using their BK app for the deals is not worth the hassle. There was a technical problem that messed up my order and Employee 70 working 6pm 3.30.2022 refused to solve the issue with a refund or fixing the order and instead started to yell through the intercom and threaten to call the police on me. Very disgusting behavior, unprofessional and definitely pray that the devil curses all the employees and their children, childrens children for centuratries to come of this Burger King location and that that them and family tree burns in hell forever until their wrong is righted.

2021-06-01I went through the drive-through yesterday and got a couple burgers for me and a friend. I also got a club salad with chicken. They told us we would have to wait 5 minutes for the chicken to cook. Today, when I went to go eat the salad for lunch I discovered that the chicken was very much raw. I tried calling the store at the number on my receipt and was greeted by a screeching fax number. I might try to take it back in person today, if I do I will update.

2022-05-03Can they ever get the order right I always want extra lettuce tomato onions and ketchup no pickles and that only happens like maybe every third time I go there do I actually get it made my way but they have some excellent coupons out and thats the one thing that keeps me going there

2022-01-09I got the bacon King and a kids meal burger for my grandson. I definitely recommend the bacon king every time. The staff was kind at this location and friendly. Place was clean as best can tell drive thru was quick.

2022-03-21My food was horrible… there was a hair in my French fries and it was not mines, my hair is medium length and this was a short tightly curled hair and my whopper had some weird material in it and it wasn’t food for sure…
