Horrible workers there always getting my food wrong and managers always have an attitude came through the drive thru and don’t know why they don’t open til 11 and was very rude over the speaker should get a whole new staff cause they don’t know how to talk to there customers the right way 😡 never coming here again and they won’t get my service again
Had to ask for no ketchup three times before the person on the speaker got that I didnt want ketchup and then they slathered the burger in ketchup anyway. I was the only car in line. Its not like they were busy. There were multiple employees inside just standing around. Still got the order wrong.
Its Burger King, I like the Whopper with cheese since I was a little boy 50+ years ago. Alas this isnt the 60s any longer. The burger was good and it should be for almost $10 bucks for a large combo. What bugs me though is when your going through the drive and you have to catch their attention before you leave and ask for the straw they forgot to give you for your soda. They look at you like your asking them for a favor. NO, sorry people, the straw comes with the soda. Wish I had a dime every time they forget to give a person a straw for your drink. Id be rich, this isnt someone just having a bad day this is just plain incompetent. Other then that they were fast and the burger was good and fresh. Two stars because they make it a habit of Not providing you a complete order in the drive thru and in my opinion they know it and dont care.
Short staffed like all service providers are during this time... Literally only 2 people working the evening shift. They had a pile of cars, so I be patient and understand that they are incredibly short on workers and these people are working double-double time! Despite the craziness, they managed to get my mobile app order correct, despite the various customized sandwiches. The only knock is they closed earlier than they had stated, but likely because they were running short in hours.
Pulled into the drive through at 8:30 on Friday all the restaurants in the area where busy sat a the speaker for a few min and no response pulled up by the window and I saw five employees inside more than enough to run a Burger King and three of then sitting on the counter not one person working
Just went through the drive thru. I never know if lobby is open or not anymore so I stick to the drive thru even though I drive a shuttle bus. Server was rude and put out because I didnt come in. She had to go take a counter order first because they were there first -I realize they are short staffed but no need to be so rude. I wont be back to this location. I need to quit eating this junk anyway so really want to try to avoid these places altogether.
Completely messed up the order in front of me ..charged the wrong amount and didnt give correct food. Told me a totally different amount when I got to the window to pay. I addressed it immediately. They repeated my order back to me again to make sure it was right. My sandwich was wrapped to say it was chicken which it should have been but nope it was their nasty fish
I know times are tough. God knows I know. But the people they have working here currently do not care about their jobs or their customers. You will sit at a silent box for 20 minutes before you hear a bored voice ask what you want. But youre lucky to hear anything at all. I miss my Burger King food. Ive had to drive away and find somewhere else to eat at least 5 times in the last few months.
Always rude and refuse to take more than one order at a time. Waited in line to be told they only had burgers so I tried to order a whopper to be told oh we don’t have that right now I had to ask well isn’t that a burger.. always closing late or saying their computers are down this location should just close permanently put something here that will actually provide customers with food!
This Burger King has insane wait times in the drive thru. I have even been told they arent serving anymore people when they are supposed to be open. This place makes you wait a half hour just to order at the speaker.Everytime I come here, the wait time for fast food is ridiculous and its on slow days like Monday or Tuesdays.Dont eat here, do to the McDonalds or Taco Bell next door.
I understand that everyone is understaffed during the pandemic, however, I feel like this establishment is struggling to adapt moreso than most places. They have the second most restrictive hours of any restaurant in Clio that Ive seen, and there are places nearby walking into Goodwill begging everyone who will listen to put it an application (not giving names, but this really did happen).Everyone else, to varying degrees, however, is providing relatively standard service, and everyone else is definitively answering well, what can you expect in these times type of service. This establishment, however, is routinely choosing to take one order at a time, straight up ignoring customers at the speaker (I once literally sat at the speaker without so much as a please wait a moment while there was ONE car ahead of me, and about 15 behind me), and are having a myriad of problems that go beyond being understaffed.Its one thing to have your credit card reader go down during an internet restart for 20 minutes, its another to have your ENTIRE system go down to the point where placing an order isnt possible for 30+ minutes, or just closing outside of the posted (and already severely limited) hours. I havent experienced the kind of slowness, downtrodden, and straight up incompetent work from this Burger King when you compare it to literally every other fast food place and standard restaurant on the same street in Clio.Now, you might disagree with me, and you might be more forgiving. Everyone is short staffed right now, but maybe theyre the most short staffed of them all and Im being too harsh.Im in need of a job, and I applied to this place weeks ago through Indeed. The manager and I played phone tag, and could not get in touch with each other. One voice mail said hey call me Ill be at the store all day. When I called not even an hour later I got voice mail, so I gave up. Fortunately, I applied online, so he had my email address, and he just shot in the dark scheduled an interview and sent it to my email.This interview was 11 days ago. I got hired, and was told that I would be starting the following Monday the 5th. I was told to expect a followup email with a job offer and paperwork, which I never received. I called literally four times asking about it, and was eventually told dont worry about it, well get you in here on Monday. I wasnt given a time, and was told that I would receive a call over the weekend with my start date. That was 1 week ago. It is now July 8th, and I have received no phone calls.This place is very poorly run, and it shows in both their internal and external practices.The food is pretty good though if you can get through the snails pace line, their systems are working, they didnt close early, they actually have what you want in stock, and they get the order right (youd think it wouldnt happen taking one order at a time, but thats not the world we live in.)Honestly, just go to Rallys, Wendys, or McDonalds. Theyre all right down the street, and theyre actually operated by people who can do things. They dont have an excuse, theyre too disorganized to provide good service, but theyre too disorganized to effectively hire people, too.
Waited nearly 20 minutes in line. Once I finally got my order, it was completely incorrect. I got two bacon king burgers instead of my whopper meal and extra cheeseburger for my daughter. Coke didn’t taste like coke either. And since you can’t go inside, I wasn’t waiting another 20 minutes for them to possibly get it correct.
Waited 35 minutes to order food. When we got to the speaker nobody said anything. Then waited 15 more minutes just to pull-up to the window. Nobody came to the window and there were cars parked ahead of us that still hadn’t gotten their food. We drove just drove away after 45 minutes of waiting without getting our food.
Order our food. We got it and it was cold. Came back to have them do something. Hubby argued for a little bit. The supervisor was not very polite and more less called us liar. I have never had so many problems with a fast food restaurant. Cold fast food does not taste good.
They need a way to let you get the food they forgot to give you in the drive-thru. Accidents happen, but when they forgot my kids happy meal, even when cutting around 5 cars in line, we still had to wait behind 4 other cars before we could reach the window.I recommend checking your order at the window, and not parking to do it, because you cant just run inside and tell them they forgot something.
The employees were very helpful. I worked for a couple Burger Kings and i had questions about my taxes and other things... they were very nice polite and helpful. There not as clean as what they use to be but still clean. Nice to grab a quick sandwich or drink or a meal. The outside was clean and inviting. Was proud to see all the employees doing a great job. I will be back to check on them and enjoy there speedy wonderful services.
Rude employees. This place closes early and opens late. Stale cold fries sometimes and forget about getting a shake. I think their machine is permanently broken with no thought of repairing or cleaning it in the near future. Whatever the case, their shake machine isnt making shakes.
Tried to order from here 3 times in the past 2 weeks. Every time they either dont answer the drive thru or their systems are down. Constantly out of stock on most menu items, rude customer service, when you are finally able to order something it is usually dry and/or old. Ill be driving the extra 10 miles to the next Burger King in my area.
I have an allergy to tomatoes and ask for no tomatoes. There were tomatoes on both of the Whoppers that I bought it wasnt a big deal because you know mistakes happen. But that wasnt the end of it. not only was one of the patties burnt to a crisp but I tried calling multiple times over a three-hour. Because I had bought on my lunch break and was hoping to get you know a new one on my way home. No one answered. I tried at 12:20 when I got to work and realized what had happened. And tried again for the fifth and final time at 3. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I dont know if they were just ignoring me or maybe they have the wrong number on here. But whatever it is Im extremely disappointed.
Had a fairly decent size order with a lot of special requests.. The got everything right and everything was fresh and delicious. The only reason for the 4 star is because they were out of large side containers so we had to order medium everything instead of large. I Would recommend this 🍔 👑
INCREDIBLY poorly managed. I am extremely understanding of the struggles the service industry has currently, but this location is not in capable hands. Along with reduced hours and frequent unexpected closings, they are taking single orders at a time, letting cars pile up behind the speaker while just one single car can get past it. My wait time has exceeded an hour. Despite doing only a single order at a time with no dine in, my order has been wrong multiple times. The drive thru staff lack customer service training whatsoever, ignoring customers and making rude comments, while never apologizing or informing you of what is going on. To top it all off they have the audacity to put up a sign blaming the lazy public for not wanting to work, but if you apply for a job at this location their manager will take days to call you, only to ignore your calls to set up an interview for days. If you actually get hired you have to play extensive phone tag with them to get your new hire paperwork, and even more still to get them to tell you when you will start working. Positively dismal management.
Ordered on the app now ive been sitting in the drive thru line for about an hour and already paid for my food. Go to mcdonalds or tacobell instead of here if you plan on eating the same night...Edit after about 70 minutes they finally thought it was a good idea to let everyone waiting in line know their system was down. Now I am out money and asked how do I get a refund and they told me it was my problem and rudely told me to have a nice day... I am calling corporate...
The worst service. I do not blame the employees, though. A man named Save(sp?), who appeared to be the Manager, treated his employees terribly the whole time. Hes a tyrant and very disrespectful to them in front of us customers. None of them were able to perform their jobs fully because of his micromanagement. Our order was forgotten, then we were told that he was waiting for fresh meat (although we could clearly see the patties), then he tried to say he upgraded our fries to a large for our troubles; he actually owed us two orders, which we paid for. It took us over 20 minutes to get our full order. They only got 2 stars because the food was hot and tasty.
Just left there and they were letting 2 employees in at 7:00Pm.The girl said they were closedAsk why and she just tossed her hands up and said I dont know. Went across the street to Wendys and A nice older man about 65 waited on me and was very polite. Think I will go there instead of the rude Children at burger king.
They say online they are open until 11pm but they come out of the store yelling that they are closed. Horrible customer service and false advertising on hours. Makes sense they hardly have any business. Never go to the burger King in Clio, MI again. Glade McDonalds is coming put with a spicy chicken nugget maybe they will finally put burger King out of business.
We waited 20 minutes in drive thru, at the window to order, and waited 5 minutes before someone took our order. When asked why so long, response was we are short staffed, with an angry tone, and stated only 3 staff working. Not sure if corporate is aware, this is awful customer service.
Was fourth in line at clio no on 8/1/2020. Half an hour wait. ! They literally took one order at a time and until that person was paid and handed their food, they didn’t take another order. 15 cars deep in the drive thru. Terrible service. If you don’t have enough staff to run properly, stay closed. Ridiculous to wait in a “ fast food” line over a half hour.
Me and my girlfriend got a bacon King to share today and now were both throwing up at 1am. I told her the bacon tasted weird but she didnt notice. Im glad she only took a few bites because shes only throwing up a little,whereas Im throwing up a lot, so I guess thats a plus side.
Our family entered to order and dine in. Our 2 yr old didnt have a mask and we were told we couldnt stay in the building. Meanwhile, employees dont have their masks over their noses, and pull them down entirely when they want to speak louder. WHO states that children age 2 should not be required to wear a mask unless in a school or daycare setting. Asking us to leave for a 2 yr old not having a mask while people can eat inside the dining room, clearly with no mask, and they were by no means crowded and we were completely socially distanced is unacceptable.
This is the third time we have had an issue at this location. Very frustrating!!! So frustrated I had to ask if have it your way is still a thing at Burger King? Went to the drive through and asked for a Whopper Junior Meal with Only Tomato, Mayo and Cheese with a large Diet Coke No Ice. First of all you go from the perky how may I help you voice to the annoyed Omg I have to do my job sigh. I should not feel like I am putting someone out by ordering food the way I would like it. If I could only have it the way it is written on the menu, then I would not be there due to allergies. I shouldn’t be made to feel like I am inconveniencing the worker when I order my meal. It makes me feel awkward and embarrassed, when I should feel happy that I am getting it my way at Burger King’ right? No!!! It is not that way at THIS location!!! Not only do they give you attitude to have a special order, they rarely give you your special order. It’s as if they say “let’s see if they will notice we gave them the wrong food and drink!” Do you think this is funny? So when I inquired on this, I was told it should not be this way, by the drive thru worker and that if I have an issue I should report it to the manager on duty. So I get a mile down the road only to find that my meal is incorrect as well as the drink that they already swapped out because of their poor listening skills or out right neglect to help a customer with a special order. I turn around, go back, now fully annoyed after working a 12 hour shift!!! I went inside to see the manager, what a JOKE!!!! The manager was working the counter and looked at my bag of food and gave the same sigh and continued to do what she had been doing. GREAT!!! This is going well already, and now I see where the crew gets their attitude. They are obviously taught to act this way by their superiors. I explained what had happened and asked if it really is not something you could get anymore? This manager who never revealed her name, nor did she have on a name tag or anything that identifies her as a manager, walks over to the drive through comes back with a slip of paper and said “you’re all set!” I am like wait what?! Not an I am sorry this happened, I am sorry you were inconvenienced twice in one visit. Nothing!!!! She was an older looking woman for lack of a better term who has faded red and grey hair is all I can tell you since she didn’t care to give her name or engage with me whatsoever. I said, “that’s it?” She said, “I refunded your money?!?!” I then told her what a poor example she was and that an I am sorry this happened might be in order. She dismissed me with an abrupt have a nice night!!! It was such a rude and sarcastic tone that I wanted to just scream get some training on human decency you crass bitter excuse of a Manager. I have been a manager for 6 years and if this was an employee of mine, I would have sent her home for the night. If her attitude did not improve, I would have told her customer service may not be a good fit for you and I am sorry but we would need to separate ways.Dear Burger King,If you continue to employ poorly trained managers who have no compassion for food allergies, then you will continue to be outdone by your McCompetitors. French fries were cold, and overdone. The chicken nuggets had obviously been in the warmer for an extended amount of time. The ketchup in the self serve machine was so runny it slid off the fries. I asked to have a spicy chicken sandwich on the sourdough bread offered on another sandwich, which I have done numerous times at other Burger Kings, for and up-charge. They told me that this can’t be done. I told them I’d had it at other places, so it can. They refused to do it. I guess the signs in the restaurant stating “Your way, right away” means on their standards.
Today the food was good and hot, but the coke was out. How weird! They knew it was out but no one was fixing or refilling. While waiting for our order to come up, a woman came in and told the manager that she had been in the drive thru and hadnt received her two orders of chicken fries. Obviously a huge deal and I didnt hear her apologize or anything! Not cool!!
My family was in having breakfast this past Saturday. The manager on duty was an older man and he was extremely rude. I was appalled by how he treated his staff and about his attitude in general. Your job is customer service and management. Customer service should be a priority. There was also an older man working the register that morning and he was fantastic; you could tell he really loved his job. The manager was extremely rude to him as well. I work in health care and my patients are number one. I understand we all have bad days, but there was no reason for the way he conducted himself. Due to this my family will not be back.
Customer service at drive through? Freaking horrible they cant even make eye contact to the people they are giving food to and they have no respect or kindness. Fries looked like the fry grease hasent been cleaned for days and i barely had ketchup and mustard on my burger very disappointed. Only came because i had a coupon. They can shut down now. Very unprofessional. Must be a franchise and not owned by corporate and its very noticeable. If you own this store, please sit with your employess that worked today sept. 14th at 6:00pm. Get it together or your customer rate will stay low how it is. You werent even that busy to not have my meal right, like what the heck. What are you doing during the day?
Asked for a refund and walked out. First thing was one of the Im guessing management had such an attitude. After waiting 20 minutes for food and watching others come and go with their food we asked for a refund and left. The girl taking the order was polite but the fake red haired manager got ruder by the minute.
During our last visit they were out of salt, the shake machine was down, the promotional sandwich was not available & the manager(no name tag/male) was rude & admonished his staff loudly from the front line, in front of us customers even after he himself had made several mistakes. Clean-ish dining room.
The manager was a total witch! My daughter is allergic to ingredients in mayo and I specifically said NO mayo on her chicken sandwich and they put mayo on then wiped it off and you could clearly see they did this! when I showed the manager and asked for another she gave me attitude! She rolled her eyes and told her employees that there is nothing on it but to make another just cause! Not to mention the girl taking our order didnt smile, say a greeting and was rude! Never AGAIN!
Went to the Burger King in Clio Michigan. Purchased the New French Toast Sandwich, bad choice on my part.It was just over the size of a Regular deck of cards and it tasted like it had some type of Cleaning solution on it.The sandwich was no where worth the 5 bucks I paid.Should have stayed with the Ham and Cheese Croissant.
This place won’t last much longer. Lobby is locked and it is 8 am. Only one employee working. Went to drive thru and sat for 5 minutes before she even asked to take out order. Other than employee car we were only other one. This place will be closed soon. If they wanted to save it they could but not with people who don’t want to take care of customers. Ill enjoy watching their demise after my experience today.
First of all I love eating at Burger King. 2nd most important thing I would like to write here is the politeness and replacing our order which was not suitable for some of us. We actually ordered chicken based burger which had cheesy ham added to that...our friend wasnt aware that it comes like this...and he was about to eat...he realized its something that he cant eat....when he approached at counter, without any questions...they got it replaced with another burger....it was such a nice gesture. And here goes next one...another friend doesnt take any meat...so he thought to take something vegetarian based burger....he thought chesse burger is the right option for him....he ordered the same.... but when he got the order it was filled with beef....which this guy do not eat....we again approached at counter....and this time too...no questions were asked and they replaced with another burger.... These gestures were too great fro the Employee of burger king. We had amazing experience here....felt so good about them Thanks BURGER KING...for putting customer first.
Lady srewed are order up and blamed us. Repeated back to us correct but couldnt get right at window. And blamed us on how we ordered.76..80..83 It took three times before she could get correct. Shes the one who needs to speak more clearly. Wouldnt hurt if shed clean out her ears
There is some definite quality issues going on at this location. Been here twice, had issues both times; cold and soggy food the first time, and while the second was an improvement... it gave my boyfriend and me severe stomach pain the next morning. Will probably not come again. The locals avoid it too, as this BK is the only fast food on this road that is almost never busy. If youre coming off i75, pick something else, youll be disappointed or worse, sick.
Well usually I never do these but I feel like this is necessary in this case. I was driving home tonight and wanted to stop for something to eat because I havent eaten all day. Keep in mind that it is 7:30pm and the fast food places are packed. So I see that burger Kings line is short and I decide to go there. There are only 3 people in front of me and I am still waiting 15 minutes but Im not even mad. I have been in food service before and I understand how it goes, so I wait patiently. I pull up and place my order. I order two 10 piece chicken nuggets, a medium fry, and a large coke. Thats alot of food but remember, I havent eaten all day. So after I order the total came to $6 and some change. After I pay I go to the window to pick up my order. The first thing I get handed is a large coke and the cup was covered in dirt! It looked like it had been laying on the ground all day and someone just picked it up and decided to fill my drink with it. I mean I get this whole going green movement and recycling but I draw the line at dirt cups. The cup was so nasty that it actually left Brown dirt marks on my hand. Next I get my food. I decide Im too hungry to complain about the dirty cup so I will just throw it out and grab something from the store on my way home. I get home and open my bag and friggin David Copperfield must have been working because one of the 10 piece chicken nuggets I ordered just dissappeard like it was never even there. Oh wait, it was because they didnt give it to me. Im starting to see why this place is always empty. Next time I will wait in the eternal line that is McDonalds. Ps. I friggin hate McDonalds.
This place is never busy, because the service is awful. The line isnt long, but youll wait as if it were. I dont need to be welcomed when I come into a place, but the staff here sure knows how to make you feel like an imposition. I felt as if I should apologize for ordering.
The people who work here lack common sense. During one visit, the crew member who made my burger cut the patty up into strips for some unknown reason. Another time, my mother tried ordering at the drive thru, and halfway through, the employee suddenly interrupted us and said One moment please before going back to the kitchen to do something else. We had to give him our order all over again once he came back to the register. No wonder McDonalds next door is outperforming them by a huge margin.
Ughh I hate leaving any negative feedback, but.....gotta be honest if you use EBay/PayPal as a form of payment (The only way you can pay on the mobile app) thats when good service goes to hell. I had to beg beg beg the managers to please put the code in so I could eat! They havent been trained on Anything mobile/technology. They basically told me to never come back with that form of payment.
We went in to place our order to go...the manager put our food on a tray to eat in. We asked for it to go and he dumped our lukewarm fries and onion rings upside down in the bag. We were on our way up north and didnt open the chicken sandwich until we were on the e-way.. it was chicken on a bun...no mayo. No lettuce..just a dry bun and chicken patty. Not planning to go back there anytime soon.
My brother and I went to your restaurant and my brother ordered French toast which replied it was to late, he then asked for Double Bacon Cheese Burger, they said they didnt have any. What was interesting to me to me was I received my order 45 seconds before he did and got the same thing he tried to order. I can believe 45 seconds COULD POSSIBLY MAKE THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE. Nothing like being told the drive through is down talking to me through the speaker telling me that I can come inside and order meanwhile serving two vehicles in front of me at the window this isnt the first time Ive had problems with this burger king and Im sure it will not be the last!!!

2022-04-27Not sure why I keep giving this place a chance. I get 1 good visit out of 5. I was really wanting burger king tonight, only 1 car in front of me and 1 car behind me. I asked for no onion on my impossible whopper, they ignored that. They offered me marinara for my mozzarella sticks, never got that. Fries were good but onion rings were clearly sitting there for a while. I had to repeat my order a few times. Wont be back for a while.

2022-05-31I wrote a review probably a year and a half ago. Long story short they would only do one order at a time with lines out to the street. They claimed they were understaffed because COVID but I interviewed and they agreed to hire me, but after a week of back and forth phone calls because they never sent me the paperwork we just mutually gave up.Fast forward to recent times.A few months ago we ordered, it took literally over 10 minutes to get our food because were waiting on your onion rings but those were cold so who knows what the truth was or why they lied to us. The order was wrong and what wasnt was bad.Today we make a simple order. They are back to 1 order at a time with long lines. Their menu board is broken and they gave no sauce on an order that included onion rings and chicken nuggets, and the sauce was specifically asked for.Im not mad at the staff specifically but this is the poorest run fast food restaurant Ive ever seen.

2022-03-12Every single time I go there, they mess the order up. When you call or go back, they ask you for a receipt but they NEVER give you one. Absolutely 100% done with this location. Ive even had to go through corporate to get an order fixed because they give you burgers that have been sitting for who knows how long. Cold with a hard bun and complain when they screw up.

2022-07-09Attempted to go through this morning during normal business hours. I sat at the speaker for 5 mins with no response. I finally said hello and was told unfortunately were not open this morning really? They had to see me and other cars sitting there. Weve next door to McDonalds and cars were still going through and sitting at Burger King. This isnt the first time for Clio. At least put up a closed sign on the drive through speaker or promptly greet people instead of making everyone wait until they just leave.. If understaffing is still a concern spend time and, get better workers even if you have to pay a little more.

2022-07-22A big note saying they close at 10 pm. At 9:50 they refused to take my order. Because they close at 10:00. This is why burger King is going out of business in Michigan. If I was the owner. The hole state would be fired. I would find someone who wants a job.

2022-05-06Food was incorrect that was my fault didnt check before I left...brought back food and was given the wrong order once again and the manager acted as if he should be the one with an attitude 😑 he also made my remake himself (his words) and did not wash hands even though he was also the cashier at the window. FYI u can see everything going on inside thru drive thru window!

2021-11-21I understand places are understaffed due to the current state of things but this Burger King is constantly missing things in my order. Today was the last day I order from Burger King. I ordered an impossible Whopper but I got an impossible puck instead.
