Once I decided on the option, she ordered the parts and they arrived within a day or two. The workmanship was superb and price was fair. I would highly recommend Caliber Collision. The facility is nice, clean, quiet, and the support staff are friendly.

Comment: I am not too pleased with my Experience at this location. I went in to get an estimate for my insurance to get my cars exterior fixed. It seemed simple enough, get an estimate and ask to have it emailed to my insurance company. I booked an appointment for May 1, asked Cesar, the mechanic handling my car to please send it to my insurance, the email of which I printed on the paperwork I filled out when I first arrived. My insurance usually has a fast response time but I let it pass a for a week before I followed up. When I followed up the first time, Cesar was just quick to get me off the phone, all I asked was if he could confirm the email he emailed the claim too, “Sr body claims something like that I don’t know it off the top of my head” ….okkkaayyyy. He was quick to dismiss me and have me off the phone. I let a few days pass and called my insurance company to confirm they had received the estimate. Cesar still hadn’t sent it, and apparently he’s the only one that can. So I called caliber and he was on his break. But a message was left on his desk…. Allegedly. Third times the charm, right? WRONG. I checked in with my insurance a few days later to confirm they have my estimate nothing. This time the insurance reached out to Cesar but nothing. It’s may 14th, I booked to get another estimate from another caliber collision that actually does their job. I still felt frustrated so I called the Manteca location one more time this morning around 8:30am but this time it was to lodge a complaint. I talked to the front desk lady and asked to speak to the general manager, Don Kerr. He’s in a meeting… but it’s alright i guess cause my info was left on his desk. It’s 1:40 pm and Don Kerr still hasn’t called me back, and something tells me he probably never will. 🙄

I was able to return a part to the dealership and get a partial refund because Caliber used my original part to fix and make it work.

Comment: Went with Caliber Collision for an insurance claim because another nearby body shop ETA was 1 week for an estimate and 2 months for a repair.Impressed they were able to accommodate towing and estimate the same day.All the service agents I interacted with were kind, professional, and efficient, especially Trey. He listened to our concerns and provided daily updates and replies via text.The repair was completed within the next week, which was much quicker than I would have ever expected. I was able to get the vehicle back just in time for a trip.Hopefully I wont have to come back, but if I do, Ill definitely be going through them again.

Comment: We came in after we were rear ended and the insurance All-State had this shop as a certified collision repair.The amounts of time it took to fix a rear bumper was a month, which was an inconvenience, but we dealt with it.After picking up the van we looked at the bumper looked fine took it home. Where we realized that the sliding door would not budge to open. We never had an issue with the doors closing or opening. After bringing it to the attention if the shop. They actually said it was broken before we came in. Not only is that false, they had been opening the door while repairing the bumper because it was on the same side as the collision.That Is completely false and the shop told the insurance it was an issue before we brought the car in. Very unprofessional shop, I would recommend going else where with your business.0 stars

Comment: We were quoted and assured the trailer hitch (among other repairs from our collision) would be replaced prior to Caliber Collision working on the repairs of the vehicle. We were notified the vehicle was ready to be picked up today. When we went to pick it up, they wanted me to sign papers to approve the work, but I opted to inspect the repairs prior to signing any papers. I am glad I did because as I inspected the repair, I noticed the trailer hitch had not been replaced. Caliber Collision did not disclose this information to me until I brought it to their attention. Their response was that it would be another 2-3 weeks to wait on a new trailer hitch and they did not want for us to wait that long. They went on to say that they did cosmetic repair to the hitch, like buff it out to remove scratches and marks caused by the collision. They did offer to replace the hitch at a later date if I wanted to go that option. I told them to go ahead and order the hitch and Ill have them replace it. Caliber Collision should have disclosed this information to me, as the customer, instead of sweeping it under the rug and hoping I would not notice. This is not honest business. To be fair, the vehicle looked clean and the repairs looked good. If you choose this business, I recommend to check their work before signing off on any paperwork.

Comment: My car was repaired in their place for almost 3 months. This is not what I care about the most. What I care about is that after the car was repaired, they used paint to damage the cushion of my rear seat water cup for some reason. I called and posted the photo, but there was no response for more than a week. I called again and they didnt admit it. This paint is the same type of paint they sprayed on the body of my car. My car was only damaged by a collision outside body, so it is impossible for me to get any of the same paint on it myself.

Comment: My vehicle wasn’t ready on time and they pushed it back multiple times part kept not fitting or they weren’t delivered on time. Then when I gave permission to inspect the whole vehicle not just the external damage, there was an increase in repairs from 2 thousand dollars to 7 thousand. When they returned the vehicle they didn’t even tighten up all the screws and didn’t bother placing my battery lock back on. The vehicle was a mile until empty in gas. It isn’t priority for them but for a service that expensive you would think they would at least help me out with that.Update: I spoke to the manager and they did a great job at addressing previous issues. From my understanding the manager was on vacation and they had a lot of work with deadlines to meet. They went above and beyond to make sure they could make things right. I would give them another chance in the future.

I spoke to the manager, Rita who assured me I would be happy with their work. I was scheduled in the next day and they fixed my window in record time. I received excellent customer service from the moment I contacted them. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick they took care of my window & even had my Jeep washed & vacuumed for me when I picked it up. Comment: First came here a few days after I got rear ended on freeway. At first it was through my insurance triple as a. Got a estimate of 2500. For repairs. I said I was waiting for person who rear enede me insurance to get police report. So finally there insurance took full responsibility for accident. So I decided to put claim through her insurance which is state farm. So happens caliber does work for them too. So agreed on a date to bring in for repairs. New estimate for state farm was 2000. From what they could see. I was supposed to get emailed a detailed new esimate for my approval once broken apart but no revised estimate never came until 1 your before I picked up my truck. Estimate was 6,700.00 . if I knew it was that much I would be had a family friend do work. Also they were giving updates on the finish date but got a call 1 hpur before they closed saying it wouldnt be done till Monday and Monday came no call. So Tuesday I had insurance company call them finally got to pick up today. But after I had to cancels some jobs and lost waged for 3 days because truck I was having repaired is my business work truck. They need a little better communication with customers . I wouldnt recommend them

Comment: I am very disappointed in the quality of workmanship that was done to my vehicle. My vehicle was in and out of this location for about 3 1/2 months and my car is now being sent to another body shop to have the repairs completed and redone.In the beginning, I was getting phone calls as to when I was able to go pick up my vehicle because it was done. Once a time and date was scheduled, I would receive a phone call that the car was in fact not completed.There was dirt in the paint as well as orange peel throughout the vehicle. The body was not aligned, shrinkage in the paint, headlight lenses where buffed and eventually had to be replaced. The gas door was not aligned, then was not able to be opened and then eventually replaced as well. The hood had to be replaced due to a spot of paint shrinkage. miscellaneous parts were lost and had to be replaced.the last attempt to allow this company to correct their work was a big mistake! I was told that it would only be a couple of weeks in the shop. well almost 2 months later, my vehicle was rushed out of the shop because I asked the shop to rent me a vehicle for the remaining amount of time that they would have it due to no longer having my other vehicle available to me. I had the rental (3rd row at my request because of 4 kids under the age of 12) I was then told that my car was complete and needed to be picked up because the boss needed to return my car back to me because i was in a rental at their expense for a week already.I was asked to go over the vehicle and get back to them if there was any problem. the following day I noticed that they chevy emblem on the grill had fallen off, the in side panel of the doors and truck were glued back together and now falling apart. some paint was chipped off.I had emailed caliber asking how to move forward with have the paint addressed and I was told, i got the pictures, thanksit has been beyond upsetting not being able to have my car fixed correctly. My insurance (STATE FARM) recommended this place the day my vehicle was vandalized and I had trusted a company that was this big to be able to handle this kind of job. This is their job to repair auto body work.we have involved the regional manager as well with this situation early on. unfortunately this was not of any help.I will never recommend this company to anyone ever.
