Comment: The only reason I went to caliber was because the person who hit me; their insurance worked with caliber. I would not recommend this place. The first time I took my car in the bumper was painted poorly, some of the bumper wasnt even painted fully, there was spots where the paint was running, and spots where they painted over dirt. They also forgot to put my paint protection film on the new bumper as well as forgetting to put in the body pins.They also scratched my steering wheel (they did fix that). We agreed they would fix the mistakes and I pointed them out and even circled them with one the caliber workers. I got a rental car through caliber while my car was being worked on a second time but when I went to get my rental they didnt have any available so I had to Uber home. Caliber said they would not cover the cost of the Uber because it was a courtesy to provide me a rental for the mistakes they made. If they would have done quality work the first time I wouldnt have had to get another rental car. When I got my car back a second time the same mistakes were made running paint, bumper not prepped correctly, chips in the paint, etc. I cant say how other locations are but I wont be back to this one.

In an era when everyone is glued to their phones or trying to hurry customers with paperwork, this lady made our situation so much easier with her pleasant personality, her empathy towards our situation and the fact that she went above and beyond to secure our peace of mind as a family was really cool. When our Company/family vehicle was in an accident she assured us that everything was going to be ok while explaining the process to us while we were going through it. Everything that she said to expect came true as she said and she even followed up afterwards to make sure we were taken care of and you just dont see that nowadays. I have her card and happily would refer anyone her way that appreciates great customer service

Comment: I have a ford pickup that required a new chassis and bed. Caliber transferred what was left of my truck to a new chassis, virtually rebuilding the whole truck. It is amazing they were able to accomplish it. I’ve now driven over 1000 miles with a trailer in the week after I picked it up and everything is working well.

There was a 1 o’clock appointment ahead of me said OK cool set wait in the waiting room while I was waiting. Another person came in with the 130 appointment. They helped that person out while I was still sitting in the waiting room Inventory on their car still not helping me out when I asked them what’s going on why are they helping other people out that came in after me they kicked me out told me that they weren’t accepting my business anymore. I find it kind of races cause the other guy was white and I am brown.

Comment: I want to thank everyone at Caliber Collision on Elkmont in Elk Grove for all the work that they did on my car. I especially want to give a huge thank you to Julio Moreno, the service advisor, for his extreme efforts to get my car fixed & painted back to what it was before the issues. He went above and beyond to make sure my car was completely done right before he returned it to me. His honesty about things that were done to my car by the other company that previously worked on my car was what made me feel so happy as you dont find this in many businesses these days. I had filled out a survey from Caliber before the last issue was resolved and I want to say that I gave them 5 stars but just had put my car was not done when said it would be but that was no ones fault at Caliber. It was because of another companies poor work that Julio had to go behind and fix to get his work complete. They work with the dealerships to match the paint on the cars perfectly. So if you need a place to have work done on your car, I highly recommend this Caliber Collision at 9131 Elkmont Way Elk Grove Ca. EVERYONE is super nice and pleasant. Julio Mereno, as the service advisor, is the best. And the painters did an awesome job!!!

He did throw in a few extras trying to make me happy, but his professionalism is not there. He has a better chance being a car salesman being he’s a fast talker, and doesn’t make you feel heard or cared about when providing a service for you. I would go to another location if ever needed in the future.

Comment: My vehicle was in a Hit and run accident.Would not drive so was towed to Caliber Auto. After 5.5 months I was told to pick up my Vehicle but it is Unsafe TO DRIVE, DO Not DRIVE IT.. They did a lot of body work, looks good, but then found a problem with the brakes, ..My truck was in good working Condition before I was Hit, The work was not finished when there was still a problem with the brakes and they are telling me NOT TO DRIVE THE TRUCK, IT IS NOT SAVE!!! AAA told Caliber they would cover the brakes .then decided after Garett found parts would not cover the parts..,After 5.5 months, and AAA would not cover the brakes. I had to pick up my truck that is Unsafe to Drive., Caliber was Good& and Garrett was Very Helpful, in getting parts and working with AAA when the brakes were approved then sorry AAA would not approve them because truck was old per my agent..

After 3 phone calls over 2 days and still no appointment. I have a copy of the estimate in hand but still cant be booked becuase she cant get the email attachment open. I have limited time and I need to be able to be quickly get my vehicle in and out. I went on line when hung up and made an online resrvation at a another caliber collision in seconds. I will have my vehicle in the am. Which is what I could have done this am if they would have set my appointment yesterday when I ask. Dissapointing .

Comment: The alignment on my car needed to be redone so I had to bring it up after picking up my vehicle and also the call center told me to bring it in with a full tank of gas and it was almost down to quarter tank and I was told it was only driven 7 miles and that did not make sense but luckily Pete took care of both issues but I never had to bring it back for corrections when I had the repairs done by Honda collision.

First, incident I got the car returned with a scratch on a new bumper also was freshly Painted however, they did accept to Re do it. Now when I came back to get that Re done it took 4 days for scratches and when it was returned it had the same scratch and multiple other damages from not being careful when putting the moldings back into place.They are not reliable on there work nor their professionalism. Their manager Natalie was very rude and unprofessional in handling the situation cops got called and police report was filed for not wanting to give me a receipt nor take responsibility for there damages instead she shouted and told me “We are done here bye go home “ as she walked away.I would suggest not taking your car here rather another caliber this location has had so many incidents With their work not being done as should be. They are a large corporation so any other caliber will be fine I suggest Roseville they are probably the best location.

When I picked it up, my tonneau cover was caked with dirt.2. They replaced my front quarter panel and they clearly did not feather the paint. Comment: I had an appointment to drop off my truck for repair and also for a rental car company to pick me up. There were two shops and I went into The 9131, and they directed me to the office across the parking lot 9141. My wife sent all the information to Victor. When I arrived, they had my appointment but Ernesto said they couldnt find the assignment number. My wife was told when she emailed the estimate from USAA that if they (at Caliber Collision) needed anything, they would call her back. When I was at Caliber, they said they didnt receive the estimate, and they didnt call my wife back. Ernesto told me they could not take the vehicle today because THEY didnt show an assignment number on their computer. My wife re-emailed the estimate, and they still could not take the vehicle for repair even though it was sent the week before. Ernesto said that the vehicle was safe to drive, I told him that I knew that since I had been driving it, and Toyota who did the original estimate (too back-logged to begin repairs) made the truck safe to drive. I took time off work to drop off the vehicle, and it seemed Ernesto didnt get that, and I had an appointment with the rental car company to come to get me, which I had to cancel. They asked me when I wanted to reschedule... Really? (I am putting this in a nutshell without all the details, the treatment was substandard at best) I will not work with Caliber again. My wife called USAA and told them of our problem, and they (USAA) were mortified since that was one of their recommended shops. USAA told us that Caliber should have called them if there was a problem and they could have straightened out the situation. Come to think of it, I asked the receptionist if I should call USAA and she said it wasnt necessary. I couldnt tell you what their repairs are like, but the customer service was very poor.

Comment: I had a bad experience. i chose caliber collision because it was first on geico insurances list of recommended repair shops near me. i had an appointment to have my vehicle inspected by the employee who handles geico claims. i was told to be prepared to leave the car there for repairs, so my wife followed me in her car. the geico person didnt keep the appointment, so some guy who doesnt handle geico claims looked the car over and took some photos. then bsd me about how hard it was (impossible) to fix my car, then sent us home. i really felt like i was being played and it put a bad taste in my mouth for caliber collision.i wont be going to any repair shop recommended by an insurance company again, and you shouldnt either. they dont have your best interests at heart. they represent the insurance company, not you and me.by the way, i bought and replaced the damaged part myself, and geico paid for it, less my deductible.

I felt they could be transparent about the due date and keep communication clear. Comment: I took my 2020 Lexus RX350 to this facility on March 22, 2021. There was significant bumper and fender damage. Caliber Collision was able to fix and return my vehicle to me on April 7, 2021. The craftsmanship that was put into my vehicles repairs was beyond my expectations. Julio Moreno was in touch with me every step of the way and he did a good job representing the company.My only complaint would be the fact that when my vehicle was test driven, it was driven in a reckless manner. I have an app on my phone that tracks my vehicle statistics and when the 3rd party technician took my vehicle for a test drive to check the radar sensors there were several unsafe driving statistics like harsh cornering, fast acceleration, excessive speed, and harsh braking. I can understand the harsh braking to make sure the collision detection is working, but making a harsh turn at a stop light followed by fast acceleration with driving faster than the posted speed limit is not acceptable. This is not the fault of Caliber Collision, but the fault of the 3rd party they use to calibrate the Lexus radar. If youre reading this Caliber Collision, you may want to keep in mind that these newer cars have vehicle tracking in them and owners have apps on their phones that can see what the vehicle is doing.Overall, Caliber Collision gets a 5 out of 5 stars, and as long as I dont need to have my vehicle driven by the maniac that test drove it before, I will be a repeat customer if the situation arises.

Comment: This was my second time using this shop through my insurance company. Both times I had a pleasant experience. The first time the Gentleman who worked on my 2012 Nissan Altima told me to pick out some replacement hubcaps for my car since the original ones were damaged in the accident. He then ordered them for me and put them on my car after the repair was done. Wish I remembered the guy name. Awesome. This go round my car was serviced by Alex and his team. Once again superb service. Alex informed me that if he had to order parts for my 2020 Nissan Sentra that it possibly could be a month before the part arrived to to the Pandemic putting a hold on replacement parts for newer cars. Alex assured me that he would give every effort to repair the trunk and bumper instead of replace it. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and that following Monday, Alex called to inform me that my car was done and ready for pick up. I picked up my car and it looked brand new again(except for the prior door ding..no fault of Caliber Collision..lol) Excellent customer service and speedy work. Real cool guy.

Victor from Caliber collision handled the drop off date and time, rental car pickup and drop off, and kept me informed throughout the repair process. Body work was amazing. The the final detailers have a keen eye pointed out some of the blemishes that was left behind from the previous messy collision repair shop... several finish detailers who work there Sam, Andy ( I think) one guy stuck out to me Singh... soft spoken but knows his work. His kind nature attention to detail and passion of work stuck out to me. He worked on my blue Camry, and green Pathfinder work was above and beyond. He even cleaned the inside of my car made it look brand new. I enjoy people who take pride in their work. Comment: The search is over to find the best, and most honest auto repair shop. The staff was professional and courteous. The estimate was based on what I actually needed. The price very reasonable. Randy Jones saw to it that every detail was perfect, and completed on time, with his manager Zach Taylor overseeing. When I picked my car up, it was not only washed and vacuumed, the tires were shiny and looked like new. It is hard to find this type of operation these days. Comment: Originally was given a 1 day $300 estimate. In the end, it took 8 days and was $1900. This is because the estimator did not identify the correct parts, which is normal, but this estimator said a steel bumper was plastic. You can easily tell the difference. This should not have been a mistake made. In the end they did not even clean up all of the marks left on the paint from the accident. This was the insurance company recomended repair shop, but they are terrible. Just go somewhere else.

Comment: Very simple review, we told them when we came in prior to work beginning that a 3rd party was going to pay for the work and damage being repaired on our auto, in fact, we told them that 3 times and confirmed it would be ok. They said yes, no problem. Well..... our car was ready today and guess what, no 3rd party payments. What? I asked to speak to a manager, who said the same thing. I asked why they told me they would accept payment from the person who caused the damage in the first place, and they said that we should not have been told that. I said great, how do I get my car now that youve said you would accept it, now you get to hold me hostage until we get a check, await clearing, and then pay you directly, another week without a car? What a jerk move from a manager of all people. Someone at corporate please demote this guy, causing you problems.Sad to lie and prey on people that way. We would have never left our car if we knew this in advance and you know it, that is why we confirmed with your office on 3 occasions.

Comment: Do not go here. I got my car back with an extra crack in the bumper that was not there when I dropped it off. My car randomly shut my engine off 3 times due to engine malfunction while driving. Extremely dangerous. I took it back to these clowns and they denied any wrong doing yet were so gracious enough to fix it free of charge. Ridiculous. The staff are entirely unprofessional and childish. Staff that had nothing to do with my claim or car thought it appropriate to chime in sarcastically their thoughts on what caused my extra bumper damage. The guy I was working with on my initial repair attempted to prove that my bumper was damaged prior to coming in by showing a blurry grainy picture that included some white mark on my bumper that was probably taken after they damaged it. I think they assumed I didnt have my own photos to back up my claim. No one apologized for any of the damages and they all acted like they were doing me a favor by fixing their mistakes. They attempted to have me sign off on the extra repairs to be billed to my insurance as part of the original repair/claim. Dont go here, they are shady. And will assume they can pull a fast one on you. If you have done business with these people I strongly suggest having your car checked by your dealer.

Comment: Bad manager and bad staff. My car has been in for 4 months and it is still not finished. Every time they give me a deadline, at the end of the day, when I call to pick my car up, they give me the run around and tell me it wont be ready till tomorrow. Happened 4 times. Today Im suppose to pick my car up and Im almost certain they will tell me it wont be ready till tomorrow. Way to make a customer happy.... Thanks guys!!!
