Comment: I have a Polaris slingshot . Sadly if I need anything done I have this place and that is all my options beside driving to the bay. I came in and dropped of the vehicle it was with them for 3 weeks. I take extremely good care of my slingshot. Before I drive it I detail it . So I expect my vehicle to look moderate acceptable giving its not left the facility. When they pulled it out front the amount of dirt and dust that caked the entire vehicle took me 2 days to get back to how I had it. Thats crazy they couldnt wipe it down? Also one of my issues I told them prior to leaving the slingshot they never even checked and still had the issue. It was in regards to the radio. Went back in the store told them hey Im experiencing the same issue with the radio so someone came out tried to get it working then said he would be right back and never came back. So I had to go back in the store and someone else not even that same guy that went to go look at it tells me its the screen it needs replaced. So if I didnt go back in I wonder how long I would been sitting. Poor service. I pay good money and to not receive the same in regards to service is not acceptable. Sadly if I need service in the future Ill have no choice but to go back because I already drive a hour to get to this location. I dont want to drive multiple hours to go to a different location.

Comment: If your looking for a great dealership you found it. Me & my family have bought our last two sxs here & just ordered a new sportsman atv. They always seem to have inventory when others don’t staff are friendly & the service department is absolutely the best around bar none. Cassie is the service manager & with good reason she is on point with customer service putting the customer 1st. Had a warranty problem with one of our atvs with the check engine light coming on intermittently after trying another dealership & being told the light has to be on or don’t bother bringing it in. I called cal custom they said bring it in we will be able to diagnose. Cassie the service manager was awesome she kept us updated with what was going on when pats would be in & an accurate date of completion. Just can’t say enough about her outstanding customer service. They have a huge supply of parts & accessories always have fluids filters & service parts In stock. Just can’t say enough good things about this dealership highly recommend giving cal custom a visit.

Comment: I first started using CCTPS when the Polaris dealership in Lathrop closed up after I bought my 2012 RZR 900. I then heard about California Customs when I was looking to buy the new RXR XP 1000 in 2014. Since then I have purchased a Slingshot, Polaris electric Ranger, Polaris Ranger 570, Polaris ACE, PJ 22 flatbed trailer, Polaris General XP 1000 4, Maxxd D tilt trailer, and my most recent Maxx D dump trailer. The main reason I like this dealership is the close family atmosphere between Trevor, his parents and family. They know how to hire enthusiasts in the parts, service and sales departments. They have an excellent showroom and aftermarket parts department. Their people just know what theyre talking about because they themselves are out snowmobiling or driving RZRs or hauling horses and such. You just get the sense that they work there to help support their hobbies and habits which makes them knowledgeable in what they are talking about. Since I live in Tracy, it takes me an hour to get to Elk Grove but its worth it. Closer dealerships just seem to be just clocking in and putting in their 8 hours and taking orders. Their enthusiasm is what is lacking and it shows up in the vibe when you walk into their showroom. But at California Customs you just get a good feeling as you give them your money which is a great recipe for any business.

I brought in an old horse trailer that needed A LOT of work and the amazing people at CCTPS exceeded my expectations for revamping this baby! At 1st my wife said that all the men in the office seemed to be pre-occupied with something else because not one person would help her out to see what she wanted, no problem she thought and asked someone for help. With it so close to X-mas the store didnt have to much in stock, but because of the wifes determination they where able to find a KAYO bull 150 in the back ($2500) mind you.X-mas day came and went, it was about mid Feb that the little quad started to have troubles starting up. I checked out the battery and low and behold the positive post had eroded off. Took the battery in to Cali Custom hoping they had one, no luck. Went and ordered one and yes I had to pay for it, I asked how long the warranty is and was told 30 days, wow a whole 30 days!! Finally the battery came and once again I tried for some help but got no where. The little quad ran for about another month or so and now here I am again with another problem with the quad, IT WONT START AT ALL NOW, nothing, zip, nada. Took it to the shop for ANOTHER problem and the waiting list was about 6 weeks out!! lol. Thanks but no thanks. I have a friend that works on motorcycles so I took it to him, he has tried everything and still nothing. Getting to the point, if Cali Custom is not backing up the products they sell then why sell them?? a 30 day warranty is a joke!! $2500!! gone down the drain and a 9 year olds passion is put on hold, this is sad, especially coming from a LOCAL vendor.

Comment: We stopped in to check out a new Polaris General XP and to look at a few of the trailers and tractors. So they had the General, but nowadays there is no real deals to have since they are in such high demand, the selection was also limited. There was only one small tractor and a lawn mower to look at. The salesman that we chatted with was only kind of a little helpful. His information to our question was way less than we had gotten from online since we did do some research online first, but then again they don’t have to work hard or try to sell anything right now either. We did get some parts and supplies from the parts department and they where very helpful 👍👍

I was not at all disappointed, they have a massive selection of trailers with so many different optioned trailers I was really surprised. I contacted this dealer to perform service on my Polaris RZR and they told me that they work on a first come first serve basis and I would need to bring in my vehicle and drop it off. I brought my vehicle in and was told that it would take 3 to 4 weeks to complete the service. 4 weeks went by and I had still not heard from them with a price estimate for the work. I called them and was told that I should hear from them the following week with pricing as it was scheduled to be in on Wednesday or Thursday. I called back the following Thursday and spoke with a gentleman who informed me it still had not been brought in, but they would get me an estimate that day. I finally got my price quote and asked them how long it would take to complete the work on my vehicle and he told me it should be completed today or tomorrow. I hadnt heard from them so I contacted them again on Friday and was told they were bringing it in to the shop now and they will call me when it is ready to be picked up. It is now Tuesday and still no call and I bet if I call them it is probably being brought into the shop now. This place has the worst service I have ever experienced in my life and I would not recommend anyone bring their vehicle here for service unless you want it to sit outside in the weather for months while they give you the run around about when it will be completed and returned to you.

The atv sat at the shop for a month during rainy season I found out after I got it back choke cable was never replaced and it sat outside with no cover on it at all getting rained on the entire time (when I had a tarp and clamps in storage compartment) the rear seat I just got before dropping it off was covered in mold and was soaked I have pictures and video of the damage if anyone wanted to see it. Worst service of all time all they said is they will help me with the prices of anything else I order from them. I am done getting anything from them they lost all my business and I will be sure to let everyone know how bad of experience it was so they dont fall victim as well. Also the photos that show the dammage keep getting deleted by them will be sure to keep them up as long as possible.

Comment: When I bought my 2017 900 Ranger XP they really worked on a lot of things with me was a pleasure to work with them I was promised by one of the ex-employees a spare tire off one of the knockoffs when they did an upgrade unfortunately hes not there no more while I was there I did buy a new spare belt for my Ranger I travel down here close to a hundred miles when theres one five miles away from my house and another Polaris dealer its sad but I will not be going back there if you live close I guess its good but when you travel a hundred miles to pick something up that you were promised dont need to drive 100 miles no more when you stay true to one dealer keep going there sometimes you have to honor something I work in customer service for many years Im a happy customer but they will not receive no more my business thank you for what you have done for me good luck in the future call shop closer to home.

Comment: Bought a dump trailer from Natalie told her Id come back the next day to pick it up between 9:30 and 10 trailer was not ready. Comes to find out she never told guys out back about it until I got there that day. Waited 45 minutes to get the trailer was not happy. The guys out back were great and the trailer is nice.

Comment: Horrible customer service from sales to service.. For some reason, work orders / repairs take months to get done.. Even after buying 2 sleds, a lot of gear and accessories, it still takes 2-3 months for something to get done.. Had my 15 rmk in for service, they did the warranty work requested but failed to do the seasonal tuneup which was on the work order.. took 4 months.. dropped off 2012 rmk for service 2 months ago.. still havent gotten a quote from them, so they havent even begun working on it. Yay... also put 1000$ down on a new snowcheck.. called recently to check on it and see if it was on the showroom floor yet - and Oh by the way, that sled is not Available all of a sudden.. no call from sales department to let me know about this even though Id already dropped a deposit.. seems like one thing after another with these guys...👎

Comment: I purchased a 2015 Polaris Xp4 1000 that was a previous demo model. I was very happy with the deal, I worked with Dan Hodges. I had some concerns about providing previous history for the machine, and he was able to gain approval from the owner to have the machine 150 hour service complete while I waited. They are busy so they may not be the easiest to get a hold of, but I found out that my patience paid off. Dan was very helpful and understanding of my concerns. I also purchased a trailer to go along with it, not as good of a deal as the machine, but fair price none the less. The trailer was missing the handle on the jack, and they replaced that at the same time and included 4 ratcheting tie down straps. All and all, I am very happy with California Custom Trailers. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars, is it took a while for the recall service bulletins to be cleared even though the work was done, and it took me calling into Polaris to get the DMV information updated with my info..
