Comment: These guys are amazing. This was the second time I use their service and have always been pleased with their work.My son moved from Fresno to Sacramento. Jaime was able to accommodate our last minute schedule, promptly and without hesitation. Josiah & Martin, were exceptional in loading the truck, fitting everything like a Tetris. 😊 William & Carlos unloaded carefully everything. Fantastic job!! Great crew to work with. The owner assured me they would help and take care of everything as I was in desperate need. They moved our pool table from Stockton to Atwater gave us.a reasonable price. I called him again on short notice to move our big heavy belongings to our new house in Merced. He sent Patrick and Jimmy very friendly and fast movers. We had a deep freezer packed with frozen food and they handled that with ease. Our big screen TVs were moved very carefully. They worked fast and didn’t waste any time . This company really is the best and lowest priced movers. We saved a lot of money hiring California Movers. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Comment: A+++ Great service with a good priceAt first my wife and I were a little concerned because we were expecting a couple of big burly guys but two young average build guys show up and we were thinking, theres no way these kids can move some of our heavy items especially the large 5 1/2 ft. X 4 ft. gun safe, to our surprise they moved all our heavy items with no problems at all, they must have eaten their spinach before they came over!! lol.. The two boys JoJo and Aldofo were fast, efficient, professional, friendly and very polite. It would have taken my wife and I, 2 days to move our stuff, they did it in 3 hours including a half hour of travel time.THANK YOU California Movers, JoJo and Adolfo for a great moving experience. Comment: I was in a bind this morning when a refrigerator in my rental unit suddenly stopped working for my tenants and I had no way to get a new fridge over to them. California Movers responded quickly through Thumbtack, came to my house, picked up my spare fridge, and delivered it to my rental unit that afternoon. And for an extra $50 they even saved me the hassle of dealing with the broken down fridge by hauling it away for me. They had the harness system to make moving the refrigerator easier, carefully removed the handles so the fridge would fit through the door openings, and unplugged the water line for me. Then they reassembled and reattached everything at the rental property. They were great - I would highly recommend them when you’re in a pinch!

Comment: Despite what they say they dont professionally move pool tables. I needed a table to be moved and called these guys. Jamie the owner said they move pool tables and would charge $350 including disassembled, reassembled and balancing the table at the new location. Thats about the average price I was quoted and seemed fair. When they came to move the table they decided not to disassemble and just move it in one piece. I asked them if thats the correct way to move it and they said yes it would be easier just to move it in one piece. They brought the table to the new location and moved it in set it down and drop the ball on the table from about 6 in up and said there you go thats balanced. Im no professional mover but what I was told was disassembly and reassembly. when I started playing on the table it seemed a little off I checked the balance with a carpenters level and the table was off. Did a little searching online and they are supposed to using machinist level to balance this thing out and it should never be moved in one piece because you risk breaking the slate. I called up the owner and asked for a small refund because although they didnt do it correctly they still moved it. Said he would call me back and never did. Called another company to get new felt and bumpers and explained the whole situation and they said they would rebalance the correct way with a machinist level and that they should have never moved in one piece. They quoted me the same price as Jamie or California movers did.

I later had a last minute change of plans and the understanding care and flexibility shown made this experience even better. The movers loaded the truck within an hour and I was on my easy. Comment: Some of our furniture was damaged during our move across the country because the movers did not properly wrap it (see pictures). We provided blankets and plastic to wrap and had extra blankets left over when the truck was packed. I have reached out to the owner multiple times about being reimbursed for damage per the contract that was signed at the time of packing. I have only spoken to him a couple times, but I have provided him with all of the information needed to solve the problem. I have also asked for a damage claim form and not received one. The last time that I heard from Jaime was October 3rd. It is now December 12th and I have still not had any further contact with him about the compensation that is owed per our contract.
