My 8 years old husky passed away after their misdiagnosis and treatment plan.Their diagnosis for my dog at the scene was ear mites and they considered its normal for dogs. I cant believe ear mites would cause my dogs death. I did consult several other vets after my dog pass away and all the vets told me ear mites wouldnt cause death. And even perforated eardrum would NOT cause death, only deafness. Its 100% misdiagnosis and directly cause the death of my dog.My dog was very healthy and energetic before the visit and their treatment. He didnt have any pre-existing conditions.Like other reviews say, Dr. Morton was extremely rude and impatient. During our several visits there previously, he never let me finish my description of my dogs symptoms ahead or during his check-up. He always interrupted me directly when I was talking and then started saying whatever he want. I wanted to show him more photos in my phone for his reference so that he could have more hints while addressing my dogs problem. But he continued doing his own stuff and refused to see my photos. I wanted to discuss with him more about my dogs symptoms but he seemed already finish his diagnosis and ready to leave the room. Hell give you his diagnose based on his experience very quickly and then will shut the door and leave the room. You may have at most 2-3 mins to meet with him during your visit. And he rarely listens to you.I dont know what else to say. I just want no one else will suffer the same thing as mine again.
Stay away from here! All they care about is money and not your pet! That doctor over medicated our cat and she had a sezuire! He kept calling our cat a he and she is a she! He is also hard to understand! We took her to a animal hospital and they said she was over medicated!
I am extremely satisfied with my experience at this animal hospital. Very suddenly my dog became very ill, and we were trying to find somewhere to take her at the worst time possible-- a Sunday afternoon. Doctor Morton stayed late on Sunday night to save my dog from a fatal infection in her intestines. He went above and beyond for my 13 year old dog, and without him she would have died. He could have charged us an arm and a leg for the quality of care my Daisy received, but he chose to keep the price manageable.I can tell you first hand that this vet loves animals and cares about them deeply.
This is the absolute best vet I have ever been to. My boy was very very sick and Dr Mortan did everything he could to get him back up to health. He was there for 4 nights and everyday I came back I could see him improving. The staff is very friendly and was always helpful. If it wasnt for all of their help and Dr. Mortans dedication I dont know what I would of done. I could never thank them enough. If you ever need a vet this is the number 1 place I would recommend.
I’m very grateful for the compassionate care that Leo (husky/pit mix) received at The Canton Animal Hospital. The staff and Dr. Mortan were very affectionate and they put 100% effort into Leo’s recovery process. I would highly recommend anyone seeking professional pet care to go there first . I will never go anywhere else. I prayed every day and night that Leo would survive the Parvovirus Thankful 🙏🏽
I took my puppy Quinn here about 2 weeks ago. She has went into heat and couldnt hold any food down. In a panic I call my normal vet, they were booked up. So I call Canton. The vet tech said bring her in, that they tall walk ins. Brought her in. Had a bit of a lengthy wait (didnt mind as I was a walk in) but Dr. Morton came in to check Quin. He was so sweet with her. You can tell he loves his job.She was dehydrated so he kept her on an IV for a few hours and told us to bring her back in the morning due to a weird X-Ray. We bring her back in the next day (at no charge) .She had to stay at the vet all day, but when we picked her up. She was so happy and in good spirits. Dr. Morton gaves us suggestions, some medicine and Quinn gave him kisses before she left. The vet tech and vet assistant were amazing as well. You can tell everyone loves animals. I would highly recommend this vet.
**I would give them a 0 star rating if I could** We took our puppy here for her first round of shots back in June. The office was disgusting, there was hair all over the place, the exam room stunk of dog pee, and there were ants crawling on the walls. On top of this, we were the only ones in the place and sat waiting for 45 minutes while the vet and vet techs has a vary loud and seemingly inappropriate conversation in the back. Fast forward to today, our dog went to our new vet and needed a Kennel Cough/Bronchitis test done. This test should be free however, when the new vet called Canton Animal Hospital, they had no record of what vaccine they gave our dog. Since they had no record, the test cost us $200. This is easily the worst vet office I have ever been to. I would not trust them with any of my animals, ever.
My dog was very sick and on the brink of death. They took really good care of her and cared for her the way I would want my pet taken care of. She had to stay in the hospital for 3 days, which was sad, but they took excellent care of her and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with the whole thing. She is so healthy now and back to her normal self. I would take her back there again if another emergency arose. Please consider Canton Animal Hospital for your pets care.
Brought my cat here for a follow up for a UTI.VERY disorganized. I arrived before my appointment, there is a sign on the building that says to call inside and remain in your car . I waited in my car for 15 minutes, then decided to go in when I saw other cars pulling in and walking right in with their dogs ahead of me ….We were put in a FILTHY room that smelled terribly of dog and you could tell hadn’t been wiped down. , animal fur everywhere. Our appointment was at 4:15 we weren’t seen until 5 pm. When we asked we we would be seen the answer was “there is one doctor” way too over booked. The doctor came in was very short with us and rushed ..said just to continue medicine the previous emergency vet prescribed, DIDNT do a full medical exam, which we were charged /or ANYTHING For that matter . I paid the cost of the full medical exam that wasn’t done because I just wanted to get out of this filthy disorganized mess. Meanwhile the waiting room is packed with tons of dogs barking , people standing everywhere, and people waiting outside because there is no room inside . Quit overbooking you can’t give quality care. Zero stars .
Be warned!! I should have read the reviews before bringing my poor dog into this awful place. The vet was extremely rude and dismissive, and handled my pet dreadfully. They charged us way too much for pills, and when we took our dog back home he started trembling and convulsing. We brought him back to the vet, who again dismissed us and told us to leave. We then rushed him to the ER where we were told our dog was having a reaction to the injections given to him at the vet, and we had to pay so much to fix a problem we didn’t even have to start with!!!!! I have never had such a horrible experience in my life, will never be returning.
I have been taking both of my dogs here for years hoping the service would Improve and I was wrong to do so. The veteran is extremely rude and condescending in highly emotional situations. My dog was very sick an when I took him here he was given X-rays and I was told everything was fine. When I got a second opinion I found out that his heart was incredibly enlarged and surrounded by fluid. When I called to confront him on this issue the receptionist was extremely rude and said “oh i am not going to tell him that but I’ll let him know your switching vets”. My dog could have been saved from an extra week of pain and suffering had they done their job correctly. Do not bring your pet here!! They do not care about the health of your pet just how much money they can get from you.
My friend lost her dog two days ago do to misdiagnosis and not the proper treatment plan. He should have sent her puppy to the hospital immediately instead of keeping her for two hours, saying she was getting better then kicking them out with her lifeless puppy because they were closing. She is devastated and heartbroken as are her kids. Her puppy died a slow death and probably suffered the entire time he wasnt treating her properly. Unfortunately by the time they got her to the animal hospital they had to let her go as time was no longer an option for Luna and her suffering was to great.I do not recommend. Not only poor treatment for the animals but for owners as well. He took valuable crucial time that Luna did not have to be saved and used it to make a measly $300. Not only was her worth around 3k but her life was priceless. He decided it was only worth $300 though! Shameful!
Ive been going here for almost 3 years. Never had a problem until today. If I bring up my concerns to you about my dog, then you as a VETERINARIAN should address my concerns. Today was my LAST time bringing my dog here. I am VERY disappointed with todays visit. My dog deserves the BEST treatment and care and this place isnt it.
I am very thankful for all the employees who treated and cared for our family dog and the amazing Dr that was able to save our dog. When we took her in we found out her kidneys had failed due to somthing she may have eaten or been bitten by. This would of killed her but the amazing crew and Dr was able to treat her kidneys very aggressively for 7 stright days stright and reversed them from failing and saved our babys life. Thank you canton animal hospital for helping us in this very hard time. We are so happy our baby was able to bounce back from this.
Our fur baby had a skin issue that came up over the holiday weekend and of course our usual vet was closed. Called them on Sunday and they got her in within 5 minutes of me calling. The doctor took good care of her and her hot spot is getting better. The clinic is a bit dated but the care was great.
This place was amazing! I called and was able to get in within 40 minutes of my call which was 2 hours before they closed too! I called at least 8 other Emergency Vets before calling them and I would go back in a heartbeat! The techs and DVM were wonderful and so caring. Alice, my 16 year old cat is happy to be back home.
One of my fur babies needed to have emergency surgery. I took her to Canton Animal Hospital and the doctor gave me a list of hospitals that were for emergencies. After spending all day at different places I realized I couldnt afford nor could they do the surgery that day so I called the doctor back thinking that I was going to have to have her euthanized. The Doctor told me to give him a bit and he would call me back and when he did he said bring her right in Im going to stay after work and do the surgery he was there all night with my dog I couldnt give this place Enough stars I wish there was more than five thank you just doesnt seem enough! Thank you Doctor Mortan from Miss Bee and her human mommy !
Canton Animal Hospital saved my best friend. I’ve always gone to them for checkups and ailments, but when a real bad infection took hold, they were able to bring him back to full health quickly, and without demanding massive charges and extra fees to do so.Thank you so much!
Gets you a same day appointment just to send you elsewhere because they don’t know what to care for your animal. Had an appointment at 4 and doctor looked at my kitten for 10 mins just to tell me “oh we close soon so I’m sending you somewhere else”. Should have hospital taken out of their name cause they don’t know anything. Now my kitten is dead cause they wanted to send me somewhere with a 3-5 hour wait
Seriously the worst experience with a vet I have ever had. Doctor does not care about your animals. Only wants your money. Doctor is rude and will interrupt you. Doctor thinks a check up is only sticking a stethoscope on the animal. All around terrible vet and will never bring another pet to this clinic again.
DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came here because my cat had an external wound near her tail and I was not sure if it was parasites or what not. So I come here to get it checked out and they did a bunch of stuff that cost 80 dollars extra that I was not notified of. They did not ask me if I had the money to pay for this, they didn’t even tell me it would cost extra. And then they tried to send me home with another 200 dollars worth of stuff for an EXTERNAL WOUND!!! They didn’t even ask if I wanted to buy it they just told me I needed it. Once I asked them if I could skip on all of it, the vet goes “haha no, it won’t heal”. It won’t heal? An external wound won’t heal by itself? I ended up buying one ointment (that I won’t use) because you could tell this place was poor and I felt bad for them. What if I was actually poor and just came here with the money for the check up (which is 40 dollars)? I got sent home with 157 dollars worth of stuff I will not use. But don’t come here. They don’t care about your pets. They care about your money. The small girl was very nice and actually seemed to care for your pets comfort. The vet (some Indian Sikh guy) doesn’t.
This review is about the veterinarian [Sewa Mortan] not the hospital staff. My wife dropped our dog off for an ear examination. We were told on the phone she had an ear infection and Dr. Mortan would speak to us when we picked her up. He came out to the car and explained she had an ear infection, which medications she needed and thatll we needed to clean her ears daily once the infection cleared. He also explained the cost for examination, treatment and that our dog may have an allergy. When my wife questioned Dr. Mortan regarding the possible allergy and if there would be any addition tests or workup; he abruptly told her, he was too busy and didnt have time to discuss this with my wife and that he would explain more when we brought our dog back in 7 days. No physician should tell the patient/caregiver/parent that theyre too busy to discuss health issues at the time of the visit! My wife felt dismissed and disrespected!! When I [husband] called back up to the animal hospital to speak with Dr. Mortan and his behavior, he attempted to over talk me. Busy is not an excuse!! We paid for services rendered which includes the physician time. Highly disappointed!
This place is a rip off! We took our cat for a checkup because he threw up once, after doing the physical checkup, the doctor personally went to get an estimate…he comes back with almost $300 estimate which included an X-Ray. Did not care to explain why an x-ray was needed but made an indirect comment to let us know that he will give a nausea medication if we agree with an x-ray. This was our first time at the Vets, we didn’t know what to expect…we wanted our cat to get the leukemia vaccination, in addition to those charges, Dr added another vaccination to the estimate, did not care to explain what that is for…when asked, they told us it’s really bad for cats if they are not vaccinated. We had a fecal test done, they never cared to call us to let us know the results. We had to inquire when we went for the second shot of leukemiaBased on the charges on our first visit, I was under the impression that we were already charged for the full vaccine…to my surprise they charged $55 for the second dose! The examination rooms are filthy! It does not look like they clean the rooms after each patient visit.I hope I do not have to come back here again!
We take all 5 of our pets to see Dr. Mortan. We never knew when COVID started how much our babies actually enjoy their time at the vet because we couldn’t go inside with them. Now that we go inside with our pets, you can see our babies’ excitement is because of how royally and wonderfully they are treated in there. Our baby Dolly even has a best friend apparently, and it was one of the techs Jaelynn who absolutely have a blast together.
I would give 0 if I could!! I woke up February 22nd to my 14 yr old dog in sever pain barely able to walk on one of her paws. I was devastated because I didnt have any money to take her in. My husband and I decided to let her rest and see how shes doing the next day. Saturday we woke up and she was worse. I did all I could think of and called around for help. My babys first mom said she could help but only had $200.00 On a card available to use. I called this place and explained our situation, they told me the visit would be $30. And nothing more until discussed with the vet. While waiting in the parking lot I notified the office that I wanted to be with my dog at all times! On the phone they told me that was not an issue. When it came time to bring my dog in all a sudden things changed! I was no longer allowed in with my baby not until the doctor was going to see her which makes no sense to me because I would have been isolated in the room with her. I finally got brought in I explained to the vet what was going on, with out any x rays or tests of any kind he tells me my dog has arthritis and great news because it can be treated! He leaves the room, comes back with 3 different medications explaining how much and how often just not the important part, how much!?!? So I asked how much will these cost? He says to me holding up only 1 medication out of the 3, well this one right here is $375.00 😳🥺🥺 thats just 1!! I started crying I explained to him how I explained to the front desk that we only had $200 and That was it! (Timing was just bad) and as much as I love my dog and want to keep her around for as long as possible that it just wasnt feasible for me. I then said to him if I have to make that hard decision today can you put her down? He stood there for a second and said why I told you we can treat her. Now Im really crying because this is hard enough as it is, so I say to the vet, my dog is in severe pain, I cant afford the medication you want me to buy for her even if I could there is no guarantee that it will even work and I cant bring her home like this its not fair for her. He picked up the medicine walked out of the room without saying a word and basically slammed the door! I sat there for 5 mins before another worker came in to go over pricing. Then they told me that I could not stay with my dog during the process! Umm I dont think so!! Never in my life have I heard someone being told they cant stay with their pet during their last moments!! I will never go to this place again and I will never recommend this place to anyone!
I was very worried about my 3 year old yorkie, and they took all of my concerns seriously. They made me feel like they really cared about my beloved pet. Dont listen to the negative reviews. They helped my pet right away, and they were great with communication. I explained to the front desk staff what was going on and then the doctor called me directly and asked as well. Some may think this is negative but I dont. The front desk staff were very helpful and caring but they could have missed something so its nice the doctor wanted to speak with me first hand. Manageable price for what they needed to do for my little man. I am very satisfied. They really do care.
I started using this vet because they have great hours! Also, I was looking for a vet that could handle my difficult dog (who sometimes has bad manners, especially at a vet visit). My dog does not take shots well. My previous vet wanted to put him under anesthesia just to give him shots. Canton animal hospital and their super dog friendly staff made it look easy! They handled it like a pro! Since then, it’s been an ear infection, kennel cough, an injured leg and more shots, but they fix him up quick an easy every time!Thank you all we are grateful to have found this place.
They need their license taken away and shut down immediately. Negligent, unprofessional, ignorant, careless, and no compassion whatsoever! We tried to tell these people we took her for a walk and shes overheating. They told us repeatedly for over two hours its not a heatstroke. They had her on oxygen and said shes getting better. She wasnt. She was suffering and dying from a heatstroke. They took her off oxygen and kicked us out because they were about to close. Told us she mustve got into something that poisoned her. When I showed up asking for Luna two different people said they didnt have a Luna. I ran back there anyways because I knew for a fact she was there with her dad. While were trying to leave to get to a real professional crying over her almost lifeless body with our children this sorry excuse of a vet runs out for payment. More time wasted that was crucial to save her life. When we finally got to a real professional they gave her cpr to bring her back and discuss our options. Unfortunately my baby didnt make it. We are heartbroken and devastated R.I.P. Luna Lou We love you! #JusticeForLuna
I wish I could rate this facility even lower. I have been to this clinic couple of times.Vet is very rude and unprofessional. Poor bed side manners. He doesnt explain what the dog has and why he needs what he prescribes esp him knowing that I have a professional medical background. He does unnecessary labs, investigations, xrays and recommends unwarranted vaccinations since some of the vaccines are only applicable in certain life style situations of the dog. Also his prices on medications are much higher than other clinics! His motive is to grab money as much as he could but not attend to the welfare of the pet.His staff(new foreign guy) is forgetful doesnt record the appointment time and become very rude to customers when they appear for the appointments and keep them outside in the cold weather for prolong period of time denying the appointment!Constant change of staff. It looks they are not happy there either! I dont recommend this place for your best friend !
We went here for an emergency visit on a Saturday. We were so happy they were open to see my dog who got an insect bite and swelled up with hives all over her. We waited for the vet to arrive, when he did, he looked at her leg where the bite was and said she needed a couple different xrays and didnt even address her hives. I pointed out she needed an antihistamine for her reaction and not xrays bc she didnt injure herself so he made me sign a form that I was declining the $300 xrays.. Then finally he brought in 2 shots for her. Gave them to here and we noticed his hands were shakey when he was trying to put the needle lid back on. He gave me my bill with 4 different types of allergy pills to give her. I didnt want to say no bc I didnt know what these pills were but looking them up when I got home, she only needed 1 of them. I felt like we were being swindled and scammed to get money out of us in an emergency situation. Although I was happy they were open and able to get my dog an allergy shot but I wil never go back to this place. Total scammer.
With COVID they are not allowing pet owners in with their pets; however, they still made me feel very comfortable leaving my cat in their car while they checked out the cause for her limping leg and did an X-ray. The Doctor even called me the next morning to check on my cat which I thought was awesome. I had a question about one of the medications my cat was given and I called and got to speak with the Doctor directly. They offer a free follow up visit as well. I would recommend this place.
This isn’t our primary vet, but when our regular vet is closed and we’re worried and need to get one of our animals to the vet, we go here because of their open availability. One day my dog had a UTI which turned out to be a result of crystals in her urine. She was put on a special prescription food, but they never seemed to have an appropriately sized bag in stock (my dog is 20 pounds and the only bag available was a 90 pound bag). At one point, we had to switch to a new brand of similar food which caused my dog to completely stop pooping. We brought her in to see what was wrong with her and the vet was clueless. When we were finally able to put her back on her normal food, we discovered that switching food brands without being ably to slowly transition had caused the problem. Considering we were having trouble getting her food and the fact that this isn’t her regular vet, we decided to send her prescription to her primary veterinarian so we could get her food from them. However, they REFUSED to send a copy of her prescription. They continuously stated they would send it, but consistently came up with more excuses and hoops to jump through. The receptionist hung up on me when I began to get angry and the vet himself gave my boyfriend attitude when he called. I will NEVER come here again and hope no one else visits.
My poor dog ended up hurting herself pretty bad and my usual vet couldnt get us in for a month, lucky for us, we found this place on a Sunday and had an appointment with hours of calling. Really greatful for the service we recieved and that fast appointment time. Front desk girls were amazing and the vet was so kind to answer all of our questions and ease our fears. My doggy today is feeling much better.
The staff itself, friendly. The Dr..... Cant recommend him. I mentioned my cat bleeding twice, both days in a row I was there. I emailed pictures of the blood that I found. Shes been peeing blood. How that is missed I dont know. Just keep an eye out when I say theres been blood on the floor...... I swear if I lose my cat.(Update 10/8) so I took my cat to another vet and without hesitation told me that it could be, did the proper things needed to be done, figured out what it was, got her meds, and now hopefully will be good. For the sake of your animals, dont go here. Need proof, the vet I took my cat to after, used to be a manager here and was livid when I told her what happened here and do I saw my
Ive taken two of my cats here and the techs are great. The vet, however, is really difficult to understand. He has an assertive demeanor that makes you want to say okay to whatever he is telling you, even if it isnt necessary. The techs love my kitties and always gave them a lot of love and attention.
I had booked my new puppy an appointment. Granted this is during the stay at home order, but the vet did not say I would not be allowed to come inside. So basically, my puppy went inside to get shots and microchipped with strangers. I had let the lady know prior to taking my pup what my concerns were and questions. She informed me after the exam and everything the vet would call me on the phone and talk to me and that would be my opportunity to have any questions or concerned talked about. 30 min later, she walks back out, hands me my puppy and says its $116 I handed her my card and asked how billing worked if I had animal insurance. She told me they have nothing to do with insurance, so I just handed her my card. She came back handed me my card, and then walked away. The vet did NOT call me and my puppy needs flea/tick prevention and other things and I dont even know how much my puppy weighs! They didnt give any paperwork or have an option to access online or anything. I felt like I was being super patient since clearly times are different right now. But for everything else that followed, I think is completely unacceptable and I will not be going back or recommending ANYONE to them!
I had to change vets (mine closed) and chose here to try because of ots close location. I made a mistake and will not he returning for my pet shih tzu!! Nor will friends and relatives that have gone here as well. The people working the desk are nice and friendly. I was told one price over the phone then when checking out the price was upped by $100+. He (the vet) didnt even touch my Aunts 3lb chihuahua and acted like he was scared of her!! The vet is not compassionate toward anything in the exam room (not mean) just I dont think he understands that pets are family for most people. I have never had a vet not warm up to the animal etc at all. When they come in. I was highly disappointed with everything from him and his interactions to the animals. Ill give him that he was knowledgeable. But thats it. I wish I could give less stars.***Especially when another vet in the area who used to manage here agrees with you and has no words to say about this particular vet!!***
The staff and nurses during this pandemic were amazing. I HATE having to drop off my pet and NOT be able to go in. Dr. Morton I have faith is very knowledgeable. On the other hand hangs up quickly and gives you no time nor provides you with a final question such as, is there any other concerns? I am paying for a service as I would my child and require some time as I am NOT a vet for questions. Again. He took care of my dog and so did the staff. Just be prepared with any and all questions you have with the out of office experience. I hope it is very different when I can go in with them.
My husband witnessed a dog get hit on Mich Ave, who slipped its collar in the parking lot of this vet. The dog was to have a routine check-up and had an appt. The dog owner notified the staff TWICE asking for assistance and no one even came out to take a look at the dog! REALLY!?! Finally my husband went to the door and demanded the vet come look at the dog who was their patient! The vet reluctantly went out, but stood about 6ft away and said there wasnt anything he could do and recommended they take the dog elsewhere. He didnt assess the dog, didnt offer comfort measures for the dog, didnt even get him into the office to evaluate him... NOTHING!! just left him on the side of the road with panicked owners and literally walked away. My husband was furious (as we r dog owners too) & even offered to hold up traffic so they could get the dog across the road to the vet office (hes in law enforcement and couldve easily flipped his lights on to hold traffic). Unfortunately, the dog passed away right before they were able to load him into the owners car. There are no words, nor excuses, for the lack of care that took place on the side of the road that day. We will be sure to NEVER take any of our 4 pets there.
I cancelled my appointment less than 5 minutes after I made it. This would have been my babies first visit. They just wanted me to hand them off and stay in the car while they had my kids inside. Just NO. Not going to redhappen. Then, the receptionist tried to guilt trip me when I cancelled. THIS REVIEW WAS MISTAKENLY PUT HERE. THIS REVIEW IS FOR ANIMAL FRIENDSON CHERRY HILL
Took my cat here for his first ever vet visit cause I was scared he was sick. Due to COVID they won’t let any owners inside which is understandable, but it was his first visit so I was nervous. They gave my cat two shots without asking for permission first. They couldn’t even tell me what was really wrong with my cat and gave me medicine just in case. Sorry to say we won’t be coming back.
Avoid this place. My dog has had skin issues for months now. Each time i return it’s a band aid resolution and $250 later. 4 visits for the same thing and I’m officially done. The final straw was when my husband was sent with a set of heart worm pills that cost $115 when we had just purchased a 6 month supply the previous visit and he tried to convince me that it was helping his itching. Negative for heartworm and never mentioned positive fleas or ticks ever. Meanwhile my dog has to wear a cone every day because he rubs his face on the carpet until he bleeds. A joke. I need a real solution for my poor puppy.
First time I came in with one of my cats everything was fine. Nice visit. One of my cats got a cold so I made an appointment letting them know my cat wasn’t eating and needed to be seen. I show up for the appointment and call to let them know I’m there, vet says they are closed and he’s not seeing any animals today. Okay? No phone call to reschedule, nothing. Very unprofessional.
My 13 week old puppy got super sick on a Sunday morning and we went to a vet hospital and were treated sooooo poorly. We then came here and they were AMAZING! They took care of my puppy for 4 days and gave her the best care and treatment. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who has a fur baby. Not only were they super compassionate about her well being but they are also extremely affordable. Thanks to them my little Bernese is now back to a healthy, happy, energetic little ball of energy!
Was very happy with the services received, especially being a Sunday, and a new client. I seen they opened @ 9, called at 9:02 and they answered immediately and were able 2 get me in by 11:30! I also have 2 mention I have a fearful 75lb Rottie, and all the staff were very understanding, calm, friendly, and compassionate with her and us. Plus the price was much better than where I took her when this same type of toenail incident happened before. I would definitely go back and recommend 2 friends and family!
Dr Martin and the staff here were amazingly honest and helpful. We found them to be very trustworthy and helpful with the care of our family dog. Our dog suffered trauma and was urinating lots of blood. We found many other places just wanted to charge us a bunch of money when Dr Marin cared for us as if it was his own pet and money being spent. We thank you again for all you honesty and great care!We will use your services again in the future!
I liked this place when I first came here and they had Sunday hours so that made it very convenient. The last few times we’ve been there have been bad experiences though. Three times in a row we made appointments and then when we arrived for said appointments they had no record of us being scheduled. Our cat was diagnosed as diabetic and the two doctors there gave us conflicting information on how to treat him, which didn’t exactly instill confidence. Also, the second we told them we would prefer to try human insulin at a lower dose because a vial of that is $28 vs $125 (or something close to that, can’t recall the exact number), they seemed to lose interest in working with us.
Doggo had eye issue that needs attended to ASAP. I search animal hospital, not vet, and get this place. I call them asking show up price and if they need anything from me...guy says $35 for visit? plus whatever dog will need. So I feed him take him out and we head to this place. I get in lot and call in...guy asks me for my name so I give it...says no appointment made and blames his staff for not telling people to make appointment and he cant have this stain on my business...about people being sent away for not having appointments...so I give him more info after he says hell take me in anyways, and once I described the conversation on phone prior he tells me HE is the one I talked to and to basically get lost..hangs up on me. At this point I called back to ensure that he knows he just supplied his own stain on the business with a 1 star review and explanation to the public about my first experience with them. For having ran a business myself, this is not the way you treat potential customers seeking your help as a business owner.
O NO! Dont you dare act like you care about my baby now that Im on your reviews! I dont know about you but when I have an emergency I go to the hospital. You should probably take that word out your name. If you cant handle certain situations I highly suggest you send them to someone who can immediately!! If I have anything further to discuss it wont be a phone call or email it will be in person.R.I.P Luna Lou #JusticeForLuna #SayHerName #LUNA
Ive been to many vets in the area and this one is the absolute BEST vet clinic weve been to in the last 14 years. They came highly recommended and Im so happy we transferred over to them. Theyre fantastic and I cant speak highly enough about them. They also do pet boarding and weve boarded our dog with them many times. Theyre amazing. We highly recommend them!
If i could give this place ZERO stars i would. absolutely unprofessional and don’t know what they are doing!!! THEY ARE CLUELESS. they kept providing reasons of how it could’ve happened instead of telling me what was wrong. i told them i had previously went to bluepearl and they froze in their boots!! asking me what they said and what they said they could do and what they gave me and how much they wanted to charge me. instead of being focused on my baby that was very ill.
Both my dog and my cat died because of these people, took my cat in last week because we knew he was sick and they said all he had was an infection, a week later he was dying. Highly do not recommend taking your animal here unless you want them to die under their hands and then not even get to hold your pet while they die I will make sure to tell anyone and everyone to never step foot in this place ever. They should be shut down.
Wonderful Care, they are good with animals and can tell they really love working with them. Extended hours are nice and they have stayed later for us. My dog had surgery there along with many other services, all top quality. Expensive, yes, but less than other vets. And pets are family, worth every dime !! I have never been sold anything as one review suggested, they tell me all that may be needed, and i choose. Simple as that, and i appreciate knowing all that may be needed. Have always reviewed cost line by line before services performed. Old reviews seem to be the ones that are worse.
One of the single worse experiences a pet owner could have. To start, our dog that was in extraordinary pain(hence why we brought her in) was put up on the examine table. The vet mad a comment about her nose looking like a human then slapped her noise with a giggling Smerk. With a beleaguered look on his face he proceeded examining her and checked her temperature without gloves. Once we figured out that my dog had swallowed a staple(via X-rays) we set with a decision on whether or not we should do surgery. The vet looked at the X-rays and looked at me and said that the staple was passing through the stomach and into the small intestine and that if surgery was to be done it should be done right away. Without giving us a straight answer on the risk in every option we decided to leave. We took my dog to Jackson animal emergency in Ann Arbor and they looked at the x-rays determining that the staple was in fact not making its way to the small intestine but was actually in the colon(it had already passed) and was going to be pooped out shortly! Beware of this vet at all cost, nobody should be misguided as much as we were. This vet almost committed mal practice in my mind based off the fact that he suggested surgery when the risk was 0. He couldn’t even read the X-rays. Once again at all costs avoid this vet, he will probably have you doing a surgery on an animal when it is completely unnecessary. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Dr. Morton is one of the most compassionate Veterinarians Ive ever met. He saved the life of a dog who was going to be euthanized because the owners didnt have enough money to treat him for an infection. Doctor Morton didnt hesitate to give the dog an expensive treatment for a cheap price. Unfortunately the owners couldnt afford the dog and ended up leaving him to me. I have Doctor Morton to thank for saving the life of my new best friend. -Austin (current employee 2/4/2020).
I wish I could rate this place lower. My interaction with this clinic was nothing less than traumatic.I had a kitten, named Nimue, who, regrettably, had a severe bone disorder, which I did not know about when we adopted her. She was like Mr. Glass from the movie Unbreakable. Her bones were extremely weak and prone to breaking easily. I got her during a really vulnerable time in my life, and had a very strong bond with her. We took her to a specialist, who told us the condition was genetic and untreatable, and we should just keep her as long as she was happy and had a decent quality of life, and to put her down when that was no longer true.Unfortunately, one day, she suffered a terrible pelvic fracture. She was in pain and could no longer walk. It was clear that it was time to put her down, and I wanted to do it quickly so she wouldnt suffer. The only place that had an opening that day in the area was canton animal hospital. This was during Covid. When we arrived, someone gave us some paperwork on a clipboard and told us (my husband and I) to fill it out. I wanted to be in the room with her, masked, of course, so I asked the tech if that was okay. She said yes. They took Nimue to examine her, and told us someone would come out to get the paperwork after they had examined Nimue. I went back to wait in my car. There was a miscommunication. Apparently they werent planning to examine her until after I brought the paperwork back to them. After waiting an hour.... An hour I didnt get to spend with my sweet baby, the miscommunication was realized. I was upset, the vet tech was defensive. I expressed my discontent, angry, but with no personal attacks, just asking them to be more clear and asking them to think through their choices, as I would rather have spent those precious moments with Nim. But, I also understood that covid was a crazy time. I again confirmed with the tech that I would be able to be in the room. We waited an additional 45 minutes, finally the doctor called to talk to me after examining her. Firstly, I could barely understand the man. His Indian accent is so strong that his English is unintelligible. We went through her medical history, confirmed I wanted to put her down. Then it was clear he was trying to wrap up the call and hang up. So I told him I wanted to be in the room with her. He lied to me and told me that the Covid restrictions prevented this. I responded that 2 of his technicians had already told me it was acceptable as long as I was masked. Then he told me that, because Nimue was young (probably 7 months old), if he couldnt find a vein he may have to do an intracardiac euthanization. Youre going to stab her in the heart?! I screamed at my phone. Yes, if I cant find a vein he responded, as though he was talking about the weather. I screamed that he had better find a vein and that he was not to proceed without me there.Personally, I just think that an intracardiac euthanization would have been marginally faster, and he was making his decisions based on that. It would explain the lie. A-hole.Anyway, he did find a vein, and I was permitted in the room. I was sobbing my eyeballs out as she died, stroking her and putting my face against her fur. The doctor was talking about how I needed to hurry up because he needed the room for his other patients. And that was AS SHE WAS DYING, its not like I lamented there for 15 minutes or anything. This was within a minute or two. There was a young man there, with the doctor as Nimue died, who was compassionate, who expressed sympathy for us, and I wish I could thank him. That was the only hint of human support or empathy we received at the hands of this monster, and honestly it meant everything to me, on such a dark day.You know, I think Ill just mail this review to the clinic, so hopefully the young man will know that his kindness mattered. Matters. Because it does. And so that the doctor will know that he is a monster. Because he is. Im am considering legal action.Do not expose your fur babies to this monster, Under any circumstances.
We knew something had changed with our new 8 week puppy we had committed to taking home with us a few days ago...he wasnt eating, drinking or playing like he was when we first met him. However we still wanted to adopt him knowing that he would at least have a chance with us.Dr. Morton was the only vet office that was open on the weekend and willing to see him so quickly. He saved our puppys life that day and after four days straight of IV fluids and antibiotics our puppy was finally coming around. Dr. Morton refused to charge us for the first couple of visits until he knew for sure our puppy was even going to survive. He ordered only the appropriate tests and did not recommend any unnecessary testing. He was fair, reasonable, and communicated his concerns immediately. He even called in to check in on our puppy at home later which was not expected but very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend his clinic to anyone looking for a vet with flexible hours and someone you can trust.
Bad experience. My daughter took our beloved pit bull, because she was throwing up. he took a lot oftest, said it was either an infection in her stomach or an ulcer! Didnt know for sure. He then told my daughter she needed prescription food that was easier on her stomach, which I agree to that. He was also very harsh on my daughter, because she didnt bring her in two days earlier. Evie, our dog, threw up a total of 3 times in two days. He gave her an anti biotic, ulcer medication, and two other ones. She got better and seemed to be doing fine. The Dr. did call to ask how she was doing. The bill, though, was around $400. She died three weeks later.
Very kind staff and Dr Morton was incredible with our dog. We had to go in multiple times and each visit he treated our dog like it was his dog. Our dogs have always had trouble at the vet but since seeing Dr Morton they are comfortable and wagging tails!!! Thank you doctor!
My kitten Hazel hurt and bit her tail. I took her to CAH and Dr. Morton and Shawn took great care of her. They had to perform surgery and she is on her way to recovery. Dr. Morton has a big heart and we appreciate him. Thank you for not overcharging us. We will be back.
I originally gave them 5 stars for their friendly service two weeks ago. However, my 8 year old dog has since passed; he was in great health to my knowledge before taking him to this vet a week ago so his death was very sudden and unexpected. The doctor and I spoke numerous times everyday during my dogs final days. A few days after I told the vet he passed away at home they called me to ask how my dog was doing.... I now give them one star. I was truly hurt. Personally, I dont trust this place.
Grateful! 1st time at this location its a Sunday and I knew my dog was sick. Took my 14 y/o baby in he wasnt himself he was dying. They took him in he wasnt standing, walking, or eating and he was having seizures. They brought him back to life. After a few hours I was able to take him home. This place gets 5 stars!
I brought my puppy who has parvo here she was hardly hanging on. She stayed for 4 days and the vet worked with us to get her better she still is on the road to recovery but she would not have survived if it wasnt for them. They treated her like family and got her better she is happy and has energy now i highly recommend them for your fur babies!
Dr. Lubana is a wonderful and caring vet and his staff is awesome as well. He has been caring for our dogs for over five years and has seen us through some bad times, especially the sudden deaths of three of our dogs. He has shown great compassion and sensitivity. More than once he and his staff stayed late for us. I would not take my beloved dogs to anyone else! I highly recommend him if you need a great vet..Ellen Bryant & Danny Brown
We took our pet to our vet of 15 years this past Saturday, February 9. We arrived 45 minutes before they closed and were told we did not have an appointment and they would run over their 2:00pm close time. They didnt even look at his rash (pictured). By 2:30pm our dog was seen by Canton Animal Hospital. His rash is much better two days later. Thank you! You gained a customer!
I highly recommend this place for anyone , the doctor was so caring for our animal and the staff was very nice as well . The doctor took very good care of our fur baby like it was his own animal. our dog was so sick and now he’s so much better then when we first walked in there . so for anyone looking for a good animal hospital this would be the one to go to ! 💜
This place was HORRIBLE and DANGEROUS. Any reasonable person reading Yelp reviews will surely stay away at this point, but I wanted to add my experience. The vet tech working here, Allison, is a nightmare. She was instantly rude to me from the moment she walked into the exam room. I have a 10 week old kitten who has been sneezing excessively - he is a total sweetheart and my kids are in love, so I brought him in to make sure nothing funky was going on with his tiny self. She rolled her eyes at me when I answered any of her questions. I had a horrible gut feeling about her. She stated she needed to take his temp. We all know how thats done. I was petting and holding him on the exam table and she gave me no coaching and just proceeded with doing the deed. I was totally shocked when he started biting me all over my hands, deep punctures drawing blood that went all over me, my clothiing and his fur. Acting annoyed, Allison stated I guess we will skip the temperature for now and left the room. With no sink in the room, I began to scrounge around the drawers for an alcohol swab or something antibacterial to no avail. The vet was pretty surprised when he entered the room to find me bleeding, and took me to the back to thoroughly wash my hands in the sink.No one ever apologized or had one iota of basic human compassion or remorse. When I returned home, I began to research my patient rights and found that - It is below the standard of care to allow an owner to restrain their pet for any veterinary procedure ... This is the veterinary code of law.I have many photos of how badly wounded my hands were and plan to pursue this to the full extent of my abilities. Seriously. This place is a dumpster fire. I encourage you to stay far, far, FAR away.
I mistook this place with another Canton vet office. On the phone they asked if my dog was a repeat visitors and told me that he was overdue for his vaccines. My dog went to this vet once like three years ago for a dental exam. They have no clue what his actual vet records are and its dangerous for them to say he needs updates when they have no clue what his actual medical records are.Apparently this is a common occurrence with this vet office (pretend that theyre the other office and not let people know).Gross practice.
By far the WORST!! Took my kitten here for an upper respiratory infection. He had gotten antibiotics from the shelter so the vet asked us to wait and bring him back free of charge if he wasnt eating or playing normally. We finally brought him back and were charged for the visit again because we waited too long. I was simply following advice because he was still eating and playing!! We live 20 minutes away I wasnt going to turn around and bring him back the next day?? These people are all about the money. They dont care.
I highly recommend taking your family pet here.I’m pleased with the service and the care my baby girl Winnie received 🐾. Staff is kind /caring and Dr. MORTEN was absolutely wonderful to me and considerate as a first time client. He called and checked on my Winnnie in the am, she’s doing much better. I will return, my dog received better day treatment hospital care ,meds therapy and follow up in an emergency at this hospital than I have, as a human being in an ER in years! Very Pleased.
My Cat was having a rough time, and I was turned down by 10 places when I tried bringing him in. This place really came through for me, and I got the help my cat needed exactly when I needed it. He got 2 tests (including an x ray!) 2 shots, and 3 medications and it was 400$ and it was all done within an hour. I even got a call the next day to check in on him. I’m really impressed with the level of compassion and care. I will definitely be bringing my cat back for his regular appointments. Thank you so much!I think a lot of the angry reviews to this place are about a few specific things. One, is COVID restrictions where our pets couldn’t be in the clinic with us. Since July 1st, that mandate has been removed. Also I’ve read a lot of negative reviews about the Vet. You can tell he genuinely cares about all the animals. Just because someone isn’t smiling or talking with a customer service voice doesn’t mean he’s not trying his best to give your pet the best care. I could hear many animals in the back, it’s clear he is a busy man. He was transparent about what everything would cost beforehand, and only suggested what was necessary to diagnose my cat. He prescribed good antibiotics, and told me to make sure I pay attention to my cat the next few days and to bring him back if nothing changes or gets worse. I just listened and asked any questions I had, which he answered no problem. I honestly can’t imagine that all these 1 star reviews are genuinely about the doctor. Sometimes we have pets with conditions that can’t easily be corrected, or are expensive and life threatening, that’s not the messengers fault! I really recommend the facility and the veterinarian!
My dog was very ill and my regular vet was unable to see us for two days. The staff at Canton Animal Hospital was very kind and scheduled an appointment within a few hours (on a Saturday) Dr. Lubana was very thorough and spent a good deal of time with us. He ordered x rays, ran blood work, and sent us home with prescriptions and very detailed instructions. The prices were in line with what we typically paid at our regular vets office. Conditions did not improve, and my (regular) vet asked to see the blood work and x-rays. Canton Animal Hospital was very generous in providing those test results. Dr. Lubana even came out to the reception area to inquire about my dog. When I told him that I was taking the test results to another vets office, he replied Its always good to get a second set of eyes on these things. Unfortunately, neither vet could help my poor little dog, but Dr. Lubana saw her when no one else would. I would definitely go back for the kindness and care that this office offers.
My moms dog was on his last breath. I called her regular dr and he would not be in until 4pm, which I knew he would pass away before that, Humane society said the could see him in about three days, even though I told them he was dying. This clinic was on the way to an emergency hosp, we were going to so we stopped. They took Peppe in and arrange to put him out of his pain. They were so kind. My mom now takes her other two dogs there now. She loves them. There rates are much more reasonable than ,osteoporosis and they do grooming. Would definitely recommend.
It was Sunday and my regular vet was closed my male cat had a urinary obstruction, they got me in right away and talked me through everything that needed to be done, yes it was a little more than my fiance and I were prepared to spend but we made it work our little guy was suffering. He had to stay until Wednesday night I called and visited every day the doctor and techs were all so patient with me crazy cat lady they understood that he was my fur baby. The doctor even took some pictures of my cat and I for me which was nice! The tech carefully talked me through the medication instructions and helped carried items to my car. So far Batman is doing much better!! he is able to go to the bathroom and is back to bird watching and warming my feet at night. I would recommend this place to anyone it was clean and the staff was wonderful to me! Thanks to the doctor my cat is going to be okay! I have two other animals that I am considering transferring to this vet!
I didnt believe the other reviews that said the vet gets mad if you cant afford treatments options costing hundreds of dollars but theyre right!! My cat had an upper respiratory infection (common since hes from a shelter). The vet wanted to do X-rays and blood work costing way too much. We said wed rather just try another antibiotic first. He got short with me and left the room. He came back with the bloodwork still on the bill. I said no bloodwork just antibiotics. He got short and left the room again. Then comes back and gives my cat a 50mg benadryl shot, a penicillin shot, another antihistamine hydroxyzine, and finally the oral antibiotic. He was shoving the injections into my cat before I could even read the prices. I didnt want him to have a $20 Benadryl shot. Way too high a dose for his size and unnecessary as I couldve opened two $1 capsules myself at home. I later learned hydroxyzine is for itching and rash which he had neither. ALL I wanted was the oral antibiotic. THESE PEOPLE JUST WANT MONEY!! They dont care about your pet. My cat was knocked out from unnecessary meds all night and the bill was still outrageous when it didnt need to be.
Nothing like waiting 45 mins for the vet to get back from being stuck in traffic with no apology so he can check out our poor sick kitty, now an hour a half later were still waiting for them to finish up her shots. Guess thats what happens when you have to make a quick appointment. The vet techs were awesome but doubt well be back here.
Dr. Morten is fantastic. He went above and beyond to help my very sick cat. He watched over him daily for over a week, giving him everything that he needed in order to get better. And he did. Finius is back to his normal self and I couldnt be more thankful for everything Dr. Morten did. I highly recommend this animal hospital.
Dr. Lubana and his Staff are Amazing. We have been taking our three cats to them for over 5 years and we have never had a bad experience. We moved from the Canton area to Milford for two years and we could never find a vet that was as good as Dr. Lubana. We recently moved back to Canton and have taken our cats to him. Dr. Lubana is always calm, empathetic, and very clear on the diagnosis and treatment necessary for our pets.I have found him to be very reasonable and is always up front on the costs associated with treatment. He reviews what needs to be done and provides the total cost up front before you make the decision to move forward. Our eldest Cat (12 years old) had to be euthanized due to congestive heart failure. Dr. Lubana and his team helped our family and our cat Sophie pass in peace and with compassion. I was so moved at how they handled the situation, I sent a gift basket to him and his staff. Dr. Lubana truly cares about his patients and their owners well being. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his staff.
The staff is AMAZING. My mother took her cat there and they took very good care of her. Then I got a puppy and she was just a few months old and ended up with Parvo. They saved my babys life. I was so heartbroken they let me come up and spend time with her while she was there for a few days. Kinda like visiting a loved one in the hospital. I know I drove them crazy calling so much to check on her lol. They were really understanding and compassionate. I will never go anywhere else than there with my fur babies.
Our puppy Zeus had Diarrhea and wasnt eating or drinking for 2 days. We took him to the Canton Animal Hospital and Dr. Mortan took an x-ray and found that his stomach was full of blood. He had Zeus stay over night with an IV and sent him home with us the next day. He told us to bring Zeus back if he didnt start eating the next day. We ended up bringing Zeus back and the doctor kept Zeus hospitalized with an IV for another 2 days without charging us any additional fees. Dr. Mortan took care of Zeus like he was his own puppy and we appreciate him more than he knows! Zeus is back to perfect health and playful as usual. I highly recommend Canton Animal Hospital and Dr. Mortan. They nursed our baby back to health at a reasonable cost.Thank you again Dr. Mortan!!Amira & John Henien
While i appreciate that theyre open on weekends and they only charge $30 for office call, they gouge you in the medications. 40 pills of hydroxyzine was $41.95. i could have gotten the same thing from chewy for $8. the clavamox $56.95, chewy price $37.80. derma-vet ointment $35.90, chewy $12.99. i dont mind paying extra because its expected, but at a $76 knock up. shame in them. oh, and he had 2 shots. wonder how much those are marked up.
Amazing caring vet! I took my boyfriends cat there b/c he had a urinary obstruction. The vet talked me through everything, worked out a plan that I could afford and even gave me a hug when I was crying. I have never experienced such genuine care from any vet that I have gone to before.
Dr morton and his staff are Amazing! They did not just save my little taz boy but also my granddog Diablo. He was kind and understands not everyone has alot of money. So he works with you to make sure your furbabies are happy and healthy. I will never take my babies anywhere else. Thank you dr morton!!!
My 7yr old Bichon had a spinal injury, and my normal vet was unable to see him, even though his condition was getting worse rapidly to the point where he couldnt walk or have a bowel movement. Dr. Lubana was able to see him, examine him, and started treating him. I left him with Dr. Lubana for several days and he started getting better, and I was able to take him home. Spike (named that because of his spiky hair when he was a pup) made a full recovery with Dr. Lubanas help. That was seven years ago, and Dr. Lubana has been his vet ever since. We use the animal hospital for all of our boarding needs - just recently boarded him there. The staff is great, and Spike, now going on 14 yrs old, is always happy to go there, for whatever reason. I was very distraught when I brought my dog in for his back problem, in tears thinking he was dying in my arms, and Dr. Lubana helped both my dog and me through that. His charges and billing have always been fair, and he is upfront with the cost of care. Dr. Lubana is my vet for life.
Unfortunately Dr Lubana is no longer working there, bummer. The doctor that our kitties saw didnt even check their heart rate, didnt check their ears, and didnt even check them over for anything, but they charged us for exams. What a ripoff! I would suggest finding another vet for your animals.
We cannot say enough good things about the Canton Animal Hospital. The staff, and especially, Dr. Lubana, were so loving and caring. Our Choc. Lab., Shelby became very sick over the weekend. Our usual Vet. was closed, so we needed to get him in somewhere right away.My husband drove by and stopped in. They gave us an appointment that morning with Dr. Lubana.Dr. Lubana saw Shelby and knew he had a very sick dog. He took his time with us. He explained everything up front, including, what tests would need to be done, and the cost.We cannot recommend Dr. Lubana, enough. He called us with Shelbys blood work results as soon as he received them. Dr. Lubana, instinctively knew how nervous I was about the seriousness of Shelbys illness. Dr. Lubana, assured me all the time that everything would be alright, and that he would be there for Shelby, and for us.I am baffled by the negative reviews. Raising a dog is not cheap. You accept that responsibility when you purchase your dog. Its like having a child. We are switching from our old Vet. to Dr. Lubana, and the Canton Animal Hospital.Thank you for the wonderful care!
Im really disappointed by these guys. Ive called multiple times to get some information on pricing for vaccinations and other medical needs for my cat and no one picked up. I couldnt even leave a message any of the times I called because their voicemail box was full. Its unfortunate, because they just lost a potential customer.
Our vet diagnosed Annie as having chronic kidney and liver failure. She is only five years old and had not eaten for Five days. We took her to the Canton hospital for end of life services. Dr. Mortan looked at her before the procedure and then convinced us to let him keep her a few days to see if he could bring her around. Dr. Mortan kept her four days, got her to eat, gave her some medicine and now Annie is at home with us and back to normal. We really were impressed by the care and concern of the team at Canton Animal Hospital. Thank you. Thank you.Tom and Maralee Meyer
Worst vet I’ve ever been to do not take any of your animals here the vet is very disrespectful hung up in my face and does not care about the animals only comes to work for a check I would never recommend no one to go here go to Wilson’s veterinary or Ypsilanti veterinary
The staff behind the desk acted like they care but when i seen the vet himself he basically told me that my dog was going to die and there wasnt nothing he could do for him because they close at 3 so he doesnt want to do nothing to my dog because they close at 3 when I got there as soon as they opened up and was the first person to come in and be seen

2022-04-07Three and a half years ago my wife and I found an orphaned kitten huddled in our car engine and adopted him. Neither of us had ever owned a cat before, but Canton Animal Hospital has been our family vet ever since they first helped us get him all checked out and cleaned up. Theyre always friendly, responsive, and very patient and communicative with first-time cat parents like us who have a lot of questions and no prior experience. Theyve also been a great place to kennel our cat when weve been out of town and unable to find a sitter - they took such great care of him last time he almost didnt want to leave and obviously missed them once we got him home!

2022-01-03Vet and staff are wonderful. You can tell they all love animals and give them the best care they are able. I have received follow up phone calls from the Vet to check on my pet, even a few days after in office care. I recommend Canton Animal Hospital wholeheartedly.

2022-05-02I was apprehensive about changing vets after going to the same one for 10 years but needed a new vet after the other place went downhill. The staff here is very nice. They are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling needs. Pricing was affordable and my four chihuahuas were treated well. So far, I am pleased with the service.

2022-06-16The staff was amazing! They treated my Jack like family. The Dr. called twice to check on my baby! Who does this anymore!? It has taken a long time to find a great vet, I feel very lucky to have found this place! Thank you guys again for taking such good care of us!

2022-07-06We just rescued two kittens and brought them both here on separate days and it was a great experience both times! Very efficient and helpful. Glad to finally find a great vet who can fit my pet in when they need to be seen instead of having to wait weeks. Thanks again.

2022-03-26This vet is very hard to understand because of his strong accent and he takes very little time explaining what is wrong with our pet but he cant wait to come back with how much everything is going to cost! He over medicated our pet and we had to take her to another vet to correct his mistakes!

2022-05-11My 5 year old Chihuahua has been a patient here since Birth. They always accommodate and handle my pet well. Appointments are easy and price is fair.

2022-04-27*ZERO STARS*This is the first review I have ever written for any company where I was not pleased with the service provided (or in this case the lack thereof).I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS VET TO TREAT MY PET FOR ANYTHING. The vet lacks appropriate communication skills. He also has a very strong accent, lacks the ability to answer simple questions regarding my concerns, and speaks quite fast, EXCEPT FOR WHEN HE’S BRINGING YOU YOUR BILL—THAT he makes sure that you understand! For the people who mentioned it’s cheaper—my bill was almost $100 more to have my dog treated at a more competent and compassionate facility and it was most definitely worth it. The nurse and vet were both quite rude in their demeanors and approach when I first got to the office initially and I should have taken that as a red flag to begin with because how is that the way you welcome a new patient and their owner???? My pet was prescribed medication for something he does not have, meaning the concern for why we initially came in is still unaddressed….WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!!!!!

2022-07-21This office took very good care of my dog Dexter. His issues were taken care and they even called the following few days to check on him. My current vet office never once did that.

2022-06-06This clinic is so ghetto. It’s very cold and uninviting literally paint peeling off the doors and walls. The doctor is rude and unprofessional he doesn’t care about your animal he just wants your money. He will tack on all kinds of charges saying this is what your animal needs. He had my poor animal screaming no warning whatsoever what he did. If you try and say something he will talk over you worst experience ever !!!! Please do not bring your animal to this lowlife establishment
