Comment: Lots of open space with grass and beautiful large trees. Great for dogs. No wifi, but internet provider (AT&T) had strong signal. Clean and safe park. Do watch for coyotes. They are brave there, out in the middle of the day and night. Freeway noise is noticeable but not bad considering you’re practically in LA. Best campground I’ve ever stayed in as far as I’m concerned. We prefer off the grid dry camping so this was a spacious alternative. Basic campground with excellent grounds!

Comment: Very nice campground. Wide spaces and big green belts along with mature trees add to the comfort. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only reason for 4 stars is that 1/2 the laundry facility was out of order and the highway noise is non-stop which is annoying when you’re trying to sleep.

Comment: Stole my key card deposit . Heres the scheme - after hours there is No One to open the gate so you are encouraged to take a key card for the gate when you check in …..and leave a $20 CASH DEPOSIT. No receipt will be given, no cc allowed.Left early in am after our 3 day stay and no one at front desk to issue refund . Returned few days later with my card and was told by the hostile troll at front desk that she wouldn’t refund me. When inquiring as to why not, she stated park policy ( which is NOT clearly stated ) and then said owners wouldn’t allow her. According to the staffer you cannot leave the park at any time with the card or you lose your deposit. That’s incorrect for starters …the little scheme works great when your family has packed up the kids and gear and hit the road only to realize the little card on your dash …they specifically won’t take a Cc so there is no recourse for guests who protest this dumbness. As many have stated here also - one of front staff is super friendly and the other is a mess. Pronouns unknown but guessing they / them/it ??

Comment: Utterly spectacular location. Huge spots and more than 6000 wonderful trees. Creek in the back of one side. Road noise barely noticeable. NO wifi but good for hotspot or Starlink unless you are toward the front. Dogs were in heaven.Great place for events with the amphitheater and rope course. Safe due to gated entry BUT get there before 8pm when they close or you won’t get in.I will make a point to stay here whenever I get the chance. So fantastic.

Comment: I am a single female taking care of my best friend which is an elderly lady. I stay with her and her RV and I am responsible for dumping each month. We came to this place to dump three or four times. The last time the female from the front desk came and asked me if I was done because Ive taken too long. Im not quite understanding what she means because if Im doing it by myself and some days are better than others if theres no one behind us waiting. Whats the problem? At the time she asked me I was actually pretty much finished I just needed to wash my hands from the whole thing. I told her yes I just need to wash my hands. So I went and washed them when I came back she was still behind us and she followed us out. Before I was completely out of the park I stopped and asked her who she was and told her Ive never had that problem before and I was a little offended that after I pay $20 to dump there that she would follow me as if I was a criminal or something. ( Even if I was a criminal shes not the sheriff) she told me she was the owner and I told her Ive never experienced anything like this she didnt care. This RV Park is the most expensive around to dump yet I get the feeling that if youre not a more uppity type person youre just not welcome there.

Comment: All in all this is one of the nicer parks weve stayed at. Large spaces, wide roads, full hookups. Trees and green space. Disappointed that while they seem to keep up with landscaping and janitorial, basic maintenance is lacking. This includes broken shower valves, graffiti, broken laundry machines, missing and broken door handles and more. I also tried to rent a cabin near my rv so my kids could visit with us but was told they were all rented. Then walked around the whole park and realized that Id been lied to because the cabins were all empty that weekend and all of the whole next week. There is only one recycle dumpster for the entire park. The laundry room has only 4 washers and 4 dryers, with half of them out of order during our 2 week stay. And because of the location you cant leave th and park. If you try to get into the park any day from 3pm to 8pm it can take 30 to 90 minutes. And that is starting from as little as 3 miles west. Gypsum Canyon is the last entrance in OC to eastbound 91 which causes major traffic delays.

Comment: Update: Took 3 days to find a spot for a signal, so we now have tv. No help from front desk. 1 person is nasty and I person is nice. No antenna/air tv in most spots. Still haven’t changed my mind; spend more money find a better place.Should have listen to the reviews. They forgot to mention no tv. We have Dish outdoors and an antenna with 50 mile radius. Antenna is for when we are too lazy to set up Dish. We never had a problem getting service. We had Dish for a year and traveled from NC- CA.Also staying here for 2 weeks over Christmas/new years holidays. There is nothing here, no pot luck, no activities and no clubhouse. The pool is not open. We are older so we don’t drive after dark.

Comment: We reserved and paid in full for a spot. I tried to cancel due to a fracture in my baxk (L1). When I called to cancel, they said it was only 3 days away and no refunds even for medical emergencies. fine, So I said Ill just keep it. Laying at home in a back brace and laying in the rv is the same thing. Plus, $155 dollars is a lot to just throw away. We showed up, and they gave our space away and billed someone else and us for the same space. I guess they double dip here and dont care. We were put into a different spot literally at the end of the park. NOT the spot we wanted or paid for. Will not be coming back or recommend this place in the future due to the way this was all handled. I will update if there is any change

Comment: Canyon RV Park is our favorite local park in Southern California. The location is ideal, the amenities are great, and the staff is super friendly and very nice. Since its local to a lot of people, we always invite friends and family to come spend a day with us. They all say the same thing. Its beautiful, peaceful (except for a little freeway noise) the grass is green, and there are so many trees. We will keep coming back as long as we are in Southern California.

Comment: This used to be our favorite RV park when visiting the area. Until this week when they knowingly put us in a space with faulty power. They sent a maintenance guy to talk to us; he came up with a totally implausible explanation. After 3 nights, we asked to move and were given a different space. After that, everything with our power was fine. Yet we spent 3 nights with no shore power from midnight to 9am. Very hot weather, and we were unable to run the AC at night. The ladies at the front desk were sympathetic but there was nothing they could do. Should never have happened.

Comment: Experience was great up until our arrival to the park. It seems That there was a problem with our visit that we did not find out about until we were leaving. This problem left us A bit concerned as we were not notified of any issues until our departure. Now we are concerned on whether There was any validity to what was supposedly reported. Also? In the administrative. Notes they stated that half of our groups RVs were rented. My question is what did that have to do with our visit? And not only that, over half of our group RVs were owned not rented so that notation was made in error. Im not sure if we were being discriminated against but im not happy with the outcome of our visit.

Comment: Beautiful and extremely well maintain RV Park, Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Site was level with full hookups and where you didnt feel your neighbor was right on top of you! Feels like your in a large park with huge grass areas and trees abound. Would stay here in the future. Only negative comment would be due to the location of the RV Park freeway noise was somewhat bothersome, but being in SoCal this is pretty unavoidable. Thus, Id rate it a 4.9 out of 5.

Comment: This is a gorgeous campground !! The spaces are huge! We loved it !It backs up against the freeway... so you have that noise .. but the location is very convenient for travelers.Pay attention to the signs as you come in... and pull to the right for check in. They get very unhappy if you block their gate... and its evident! Not so pleasant !!Make sure you have 20.00 CASH for the gate card. They do not have an ATM and do not accept credit cards for this. We had to drive to town cuz I was short..which was a huge inconvenience !!The laundry room only had one dryer working...which was a disappointment to say the least.Over all.. the atmosphere makes up for the rest of it. I would stay again !

The staff had to take the request to management to determine that our travel trailer is not a certified RV and therefore we cant make a reservation. Apparently they dont want our business.

This morning we woke up to ants in the trailer, but what can we expect, we are in the “wildness”. We will be more prepared for our next visit, and spray around our trailer once we set up. Comment: Cons:- Noise. So much noise. The campground is literally under the freeway. Good luck.- Terrible facilities. The bathrooms are an extremely unpleasant experience. I have included a picture but it doesnt cover the full extent. The bathrooms were all disgusting when I went in, but I took the photos the next day. They mustve cleaned it over night but middle of the day they were in terrible condition. The soap dispensers have no soap. The water isnt hot enough.- The customer service is ATROCIOUS. For example, I had my propane tanks filled there, I only need about 2 gallons. They did not tell me it was a 5 gallon minimum until I went to pay! Then they charged me for 5 gallons despite that. They told me there was nothing they could do repeatedly even though i saw them punch numbers into a calculator and charge me that amount. They obviously couldve just charged me for less.Pros: lot of greenery. NOT saying theyre wasting water, but theyre definitely leaving the sprinklers on.- spaces are very close together, so if youre a people person youll really enjoy being in other peoples buisness!

Comment: I wish I took pictures! Its very pretty! The sites are spacious, not pull through, but theres plenty of room to maneuver. We had plenty of room for our 38 rig plus trailer and pull car. Sites have gravel and a picnic table. We didnt check out the pool or any other entertainment options, but I read that there are several options. The hot water wasnt working in our motor home so we used the camp site showers. Theyre not fancy but each room was clean, spacious and the water was hot! The only reason I took off a star is because I was told that we could arrive late. Theres a guard there until midnight. We arrived just before midnight and no one was there! We walked to the office, called the after hours emergency number.. no response! So we had to camp outside the gate the first night. They did refund that night and apologized. IMO they need a 24hr employee/ security. Otherwise, great place to stay and we would stay again!

Comment: This was a nice park. We were here about 2 months then had to leave. We were then told that they no longer allow stays over 2 wks. We also had a sewer hose that had been stepped on by a grounds keeper. We were told to send a picture of the hose to management but have never hear a thing. They were blowing leaves one day and next day we noticed it had collapsed by someone stepping on it. The people in the office were nice until we left and since have been snippy!

Comment: As said before, the campsite is lovely. The staff, however create a terrible experience. We reserved our spots months in advance and no effort was given to place us anywhere near each other. On top of that, the cabin we reserved was next to the freeway. No one in the cabin could sleep due to noise and vibration. We were there for 3 miserable days. There were 2 empty cabins next to our campsite that could have housed our other party. One stayed empty the entire time. No wifi and no pool use although it was 100 degrees all 3 days. Find another campground!

Comment: The noise of the freeway is overwhelming. My ears had enough after a couple of hours. Otherwise the park is nice enough with showers and fire rings. It is clean and very pretty. The freeway drowns the noise from other campers blasting their radio so that is a plus.

Comment: 3 Stars for only allowing a select few to stay permanently or for long stays. Tried talking to the lady owner but she’s flaky and very hard to get a hold of. The Lady at the front desk is more useless and gets all tight lipped when you ask about long stays. Weird. Guess you have to belong to “The Club”. Wish they could help us out until we’re able to move on when we’re ready. 4 stars for the Campgrounds and the area is great for dogs. A lot of squirrel dens which makes our dogs very happy to hunt and dig a little. The rope course is great. They allow you to go as far as you want. The wild parrots that live there are very noisy in the mornings too. Thankfully it doesn’t start until around 8am. The worst thing is the traffic noise from the 91 Freeway. It’s constant and very distracting. Especially when you’re trying to get to sleep. Wish places like this were a bit further away from such places. Wish we could stay longer but they don’t want us there anymore because they said they were catering to weekenders vs full timers.

Comment: This is a beautiful camping park the reason for the one star is the staff. They have horrible service very rude specially Karen. She talks you down like your a child. We came with two other families and they both said the same thing. Any contact they had with the office they said they had the same experience. Just by simply triying to get in to the park one family was screamed at because they didn’t show their pass correctly. This was our first time in this park don’t know if we will be back just because of that experience.

Comment: The RV park is nice but there is a lot left to be desired. Im a travel nurse and was on assignment nearby. In the 13 weeks we were there, we moved sites 7 times. Some was planned, some last minute. In the first month we lost power twice and water once. With the water outage, I called to the office to let them know. I later found out that my call resulted in me being blacklisted. Only my husband was allowed in the office and we were not to be accommodated in any way during the remainder of our stay. It was an immature and unprofessional response. Given that I made the reservation and paid for the duration of our stay, our first will definitely be our last. Also, the park floods and if youre past the bridge, youre stuck.

Comment: This review is overdue! This park is really nice and weve stayed there on many weekends. On Thanksgiving 2021 we were heading out to Lake Perris for the holiday weekend and the wind was so crazy we had to pull off the freeway or our motorhome was going to flip. We took side streets to Canyon RV and after begging to boondock in their overflow, the lady in the office, I think her name is Karen, found us a site! We ended up having the best Thanksgiving weekend after thinking it was ruined. All thanks to Karen, who worked us in even with the power turned off by SCE due to the wind. Thank you for saving our holiday and reminding us that there are good people in the world to be thankful for!

Comment: Campground is stretched out along the river so wherever youre at you feel youre in a small campground. The bathrooms in the showers are so clean and freshly painted I was very impressed. The whole place is wonderfully maintained. Super friendly staff the maintenance people on the golf carts always smile and say hi. The kids will love the abundance of wildlife there are sections where they let the gophers have their little cities. And lots of other wildlife rabbits and lots of different kinds of birds. They have outdoor swimming pool. And for the adventurous the climbing towers and hanging walkways are amazing to watch people repel and climb. Midweek almost always has availability but weekends make reservations as early as possible. Last minute very looking for cancellations is difficult.

Comment: The park is beautiful and the amenities were fair. But the staff was extremely rude. We checked in and the lady was nice. Got to our site and everything was fine other then we had to wait 30min for someone to get out of our site. No big deal. But that night when we left for dinner and got on the freeway we realized they never gave us a gate code. So I called immediately. At 5:30pm (office closes at 8:00) I got a voicemail. So I left a message. With no returned call. When we returned at 9:00 there was no one at the guard station to let us in. We tried calling again with no answer. We got out of the car and looked for an after hours number, nothing. I checked my reservation email and there was no information for after hours. So we were left stuck outside the park with our dog in the RV and no way to get in. There were about three cars that went through while we were waiting. I finally got the forth one to stop, I showed them our reservation email and I begged them to open the gate for us. They reluctantly opened for us. When I went to the office at check out the next morning to let them know. The lady at the front desk let me know it was my fault. I should have stopped before we left and got the gate key. (Which we weren’t aware we needed) She also told me she got my message that morning but didn’t feel the need to call and check to see if everything was ok. And if you have ever got on the 91 freeway going into Orange County you would know it’s not easy to just turn around and get back to the RV Park. So if you do chose to stay here don’t count on the staff to do their job. They don’t see the need to take care of their customers. They don’t think it’s their responsibility to provide the simple things like a gate card for the guest to come and go without getting locked out. That is your responsibility as the guest to ask for one even if you didn’t know you needed one.

Comment: Nice looking park with good spacing. However the ANTS & FLIES are atrocious! We stayed at 124 and now have a complete rv infestation of ants. I went to see if the office would send someone to spray but got a big fat no and we sell ant spray. Customer service here is a total zero! During the day unless you have a netted area you cant sit outside due to the flies. The noise from the freeway was to be expected. Open sewer hole by the bathroom that was disgusting. Not a very good experience.

Comment: Came into the park just after the Blue Ridge fire by Chino Hills. Found out they have a large enough area for helicopters to land and they were also letting the firefighters use the park as a staging area. Let the firefighters use the cabins to get some rest and made sure they were taken care of. That in itself deserves a 5 star rating. As far as my stay here, they are very friendly and accommodating. I asked to extend my stay another week and they took care of me. Beautiful location close to any services you could need but right on the edge of a large river wash and so serene. There is some freeway noise but its not bad considering the location.Highly recommend for any length of stay. Not a fancy resort, just a park like setting that is very relaxing.

Comment: Spacious spots surrounded by lots of green grass, bushes and trees. Most spots appear to be gravel and dirt and have ample room to back an RV in. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit along with many trees helping to provide shade during sunny days. A small, basic convenience store is located next to the check in desk in the front office. Behind the office is a laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers that are maintained well and kept in working order. There are also private shower rooms that are very clean and are a huge size. They arent heated however, so it might make showering there in any cold weather a challenge. Full hookups for your RV are easily accessible and worked really well while I was there. The other people staying there were very nice and also were quiet at night. A bit of noise does come from the 91 freeway with its convenient and close access by way of the onramp that runs along one side of the property. For me it was barely noticeable and just turned into some background white noise. Its a comfortable and well kept RV park that has helpful, friendly staff, which makes Canyon RV Park a place I can definitely recommend.

Even if we are as sweet as pie, the office staff act inconvenienced and are unhelpful when we try to make reservations or just to buy ice. We all just come here to relax and enjoy hard earned vacation time. The office staff work in an idyllic peaceful setting. Why the abrasiveness with campers? Just be kind.

Ill bet the owners would have taken 4-day/$250 space rental. Hopefully the owners read this. This rude employee... (caucasian supporting facial hair), will continue to lose money for the park. Has zero people skills.

Comment: Conviniant please to stay ... right off the freeway .Be careful with the ant infestation you might have to take home after .no warnings about it.We understand that is the responsibility of the campers to keep the area clean but when you camping spots are on top of the ant hill nest theres no much to do about them moving in to the fresh RV home. Also where you see one there is lots more that are out of sight

Comment: This is quite the surprise RV park this close to Anaheim (20 mins). We chose this spot primarily because it is close to the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda our destination for this trip. But we were totally wowed with how beautiful and spacious this park is. Yes we were visiting mid-week, and yes the park was perhaps only 50% occupied. But the space between campers is fantastic and we still would have been comfortable even if all the spaces were full. Lush grass lawns and huge, mature trees really are a surprise for any campground in this region. Prices were very reasonable as well. Bathrooms are clean but basic. You have nice large unisex shower stalls and separate toilets. The toilets are regrettably the kind of cold metal toilets you find in remote locations in national parks and the sinks are also metal and require you to hold the button down while simultaneously washing your hands or face. Not ideal but clean and well maintained. Now for the only real downside of this place - the 91 freeway runs along the entire length of this large campground and it is elevated so that you can definitely hear it. But surprisingly it didnt bother us much - perhaps the huge trees knock the sound down somewhat but it was honestly more white noise than annoying. Lastly, commute hour traffic is so bad at this part of the freeway, that we often could not use the freeway at all and had to wind our way along back roads to get in and out of here - thank you Google Maps without which we would have been totally frustrated!

Comment: This park is nice and staff are friendly, at least to me they were. I had read reviews to the contrary, but did not experience that at all. Its an older park with a lot of full time residents and the trees are beautiful and provide lots of shade. TV reception is almost non existent, but cell service was excellent. (AT&T) There is some noise from the freeway thats on one side of the park though. Weve stayed at this park on 2 different occasions and have enjoyed the facility. Definitely go back again.

They also have a nice bike path thats paved which allows for some easy relaxing bike rides. A big Duck population in the area, they even have little houses mounted in the Trees for them.

Comment: Very pretty with lots of mature trees and critters, but LOTS of road noise. We were in spot #20 which is literally backed by the freeway (the whole park is right by the freeway though) which has constant road noise, day and night. Trade off for the road noise is that it is in a convenient location, about 30 minutes from Disneyland with lots of grocery stores and even a Costco nearby, movie theater and an ice skating rink up the road a bit.Good level spot, easy to back in. Lots of room for the kids to run and play both behind our spot and in the grassy area across from us, by the pool.Saw a lot of squirrels, woodpeckers, small songbirds, and what looked to be a blue heron. We really enjoyed seeing the wildlife.Really disappointed the playground was non-existent - like it had once been there but is now just a huge sand pit. Pool was closed the week we were there (last week of April/first week of May). We called the front desk Tuesday to ask when the pool opens, left a message that was not returned by the time we left Saturday.Bathrooms had no sinks for handwashing and the kids were frightened by how dark it is in there once you close the door behind you. Need more lighting, either larger skylights and/or electric lighting option during the day. Even as an adult I was pretty surprised how dark it is in the bathroom once the door was closed. Like going in a closet.Overall a decent place but definitely could use some updates.

Comment: Stayed for a week in a site that backs up to the highway. The grounds are very pretty with lots of shade trees, grass, and squirrels. There is a stream running by the campground and a bike trail through a small section of the park. We encountered a VERY large rattlesnake sunning himself on the rocks that bordered the stream. I alerted the main office but he seemed unimpressed and stated that it’s common to see snakes by the stream and that he advises everyone to stay clear of stream area. Funny, he never mentioned it when we checked in. The amphitheater and other structures apart from the bathrooms seem to have been taken over by burrowing creatures and are in need of repair. The bathrooms are nice but lack daytime lighting and a sink to wash up. The showers are mostly clean. The MAJOR downfall of this campground is highway noise. It’s very loud, 24/7, even not backed up to the highway. But it is local to anything including Disney 28 mins away. Traffic is SoCal and can be...parked.

Comment: VERY rude front desk staff! The ants are horrible. Have stayed here 2x and been invaded by ants both times...the first time from the ground, the second from the trees above. The weekends fill up with locals that play music via car stereo and dont care how loud they get. The office never answers their phone and there is no recourse after 8pm. Only giving the 2nd star because it is a pretty place with lots of trees. If you stay on the south side of the park, you will essentially be under the freeway...NONSTOP traffic noise.

Comment: This RV park is situated along the Santa Ana River approximately 30 min from Anaheim / Disneyland. Lots of trees and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cost was lowest in the area. There were playgrounds for children and swimming pool, along with a rope course. It is a great family campground or couples or anyone wanting to get away from city. There is a major highway close by, but noise is minimal. The park was easy to find and great access to major road into the city. ...also close to shopping .

Comment: Loved everything about the park. Large sites. We have a 36 5er with 4 slides. Shaded. Level. Very close proximity to attractions. We were 16 miles from Knotts Berry Farm. The facility is gated. We arrived late at night and had arraignments by the office to receive our gate card after hours. It is fairly pricey at $80 a night, but in LA, I guess its not bad. Full hook ups. Great water pressure. Restrooms and showers were clean but worn. Not bad though. We didnt use them though. My only issue was ants. We pulled in at 10pm, and by the morning, I rig was infested with ants. I flagged down a worker, and asked for some spray, he gave me a can, and said that they do have a problem with ants. i wish I would have known in advance. I would have sprayed upon arrival. The second day we spent several hours taking everything out of the cupboards and storage to clean and spray. It was a big hassle, but not a deal breaker. I will return, but prepared. There is noise from the freeway, but not bad for me. It kind of drowns out after a while when outside, cant hear it in the rig. Sounds more like the ocean or wind in the pines after a while. I would give this park a 3.5. A 4 without the ants. I was in site 37.

Comment: Had a great time here. Friendly staff, huge rv spaces, lots of trees and shade. 91 freeway is noisy at times. Ants are plentiful due to terrain so youll need to ant spray anything that touches the ground (around tires, water hose, sewer drain line, electrical connection etc.). Overall a pretty good park for a couple of days stay.

Comment: Most horrible camping trip ever! We were parked next to a long term a-hole. He screamed profanities at my wife and told lies at the office to get us kicked out. The manager up front, Shawn, believed his lies and told us to get out by the weekend. In my opinion, that makes him no better. Comment: Plenty of shade and nice area if that is all you are looking for. My parents and I spent two weeks here but if I had the choice I would have switched. Lots of amenities not really kept up. For the price this campground charges and the amount of people coming through the campground, the extra fees (not posted), you would have thought that the restrooms would actually have capable sinks. Instead it was a metal toilet not much better than what my father referred to as a jail cell. The toilets leaked often and there was no soap for the sinks or mirrors that were outside exposed to the animals etc. When a place is title RV park I expect more. I have been to many campgrounds on the west coast and this one was not worth the price. We booked a large area because we had 7 people. The guy on the phone with my dad told him there was wifi and told him that there was room enough for a tent. When we got there the same older gentlemen was not pleasant at the counter. He wanted 10 dollars more a night for the little tent we were putting up. The tent was in the same area as our trailer not in an extra space, so why was I paying 10 dollars more...Then he said nope no wifi. Then he said we needed to leave a deposit of 40 dollars for the key cards to get in and out of the gate. I have to leave 40 dollars but the homeless vagrants living in the bushes down at the end of the park could come and go as they pleased. As I said, if you are looking for lots of shade and fairly clean this is a great place to stay. Its even close to all the amusement parks within 20-45 min. However, the pool area was not well kept either. The pool was clean and clear but nothing around the pool. No bathroom even near the pool which should be automatic. Oh and lets not forget that the washers and dryers. There was only 4 of each and they were broken half the time they were there. Oh and the guy at the counter older gentleman refused to give quarters half the time and they didnt have a change machine. So as long as your RV has washer and dryer you are safe otherwise, go to the nearest laundromat, its faster, cleaner, and nicer than the head guy running this place.

Comment: Been going to this park for 20 plus years and will NEVER return. My family and I return every year on the same weekend with the Canyon Cruisers for their annual car show. Every year we reserve the same camp spot #102 for the following year. We have noticed that the office staff was getting more and more customer unfriendly with each visit but you only have to deal with them upon checking in then its away from them and camping with the family. Well thats when this story changes everything forever. We arrive on a Friday afternoon to check in along with many other folks checking in for the weekend, the office was busy and hectic . I pay and move to our spot #102. We set up and have a great evening. We have guests coming for a Pre car show BBQ on Saturday evening. At about 2:30 pm on Saturday one of the office staff (male 40, Light hair, beard and glasss) shows up yelling at me while I was asleep under a shade tree that I was in the wrong spot. I was shocked at the way this guy approached me and his level of voice. I told him he was the one who booked me last year for this year for this spot, He shrugged his shoulders and said to check my paperwork. I retrieved my paperwork from the RV and it had #106 on it. I went to ask him what happened and he was gone. There were an elderly couple waiting for our spot and I did not feel like dragging them into it. I went and looked at spot #106. It was the last spot in the park all dirt no shad, in other words the worst they had to offer. WHY would we book this spot? My wife went to the office and spoke to a young lady who said the manager was not there. She was able to confirm that in fact we have stayed in this spot for at least three consecutive years thus supporting what we were telling them. I got mad packed up and left the park.Today 6/6/17 my wife called and spoke to the same guy who made the reservation last year and rudely came into our camp site to kick us out. He checked their records and confirmed we had in fact reserved that spot for several years running and would NOT confirm the reservation for this year. He said the park has the right to change your spot with out notice. Then WHY make a reservation? He said he would NOT credit us back the $75.00 for the night we did not stay there. He would not use it towards next years reservation, he was VERY rude and had zero customer service. When we asked if they were willing to loose a returning customer over this he said its no big deal. Not only do I want to return and have some words with this guy!!!!! I feel like I entered the twilight zone. He made it very clear that the have enough customers coming they just dont care if you are happy or not. I will pass this experience on to all my car show friends, all my camping friends and anyone else that I think may want to camp there in the future. Has customer service gone by the wayside completely in California? I use to look forward to this family car show weekend.

Comment: Pro: Nice level gravel spots, some have grass, full hook ups. Many trees and lots of shade. Directly off the Santa Ana River Trail. 25 mile bike ride to the beach.Con: in the 24 hours since we have been here, and this being our third or fourth visit; I have noted that there are not any rules, or guidelines in the park brochure that is handed out to new arrivals. Therefore one may assume that because someone else does it it is ok to:Ride unlicensed off road vehicles throughout the park, and down to the adjacent riverbed, wash cars and RVs in your space, let dogs run unleashed in the grassy areas between the RVs, let children drive golf carts and race throughout the park, and you can also park on the grass in the area beside your RV. There are many full-time residents- you can easily notice who they are- and it is directly off the 91....no, I mean directly....there is the 91...right there! The fabulous retaining wall and the beautiful trees create a nightmare for satellite television in many spaces, however some Staff may try to accommodate your wish to be placed in a satellite friendly space. Oh, and there are ants....bring some good ant spray...spray around tires and landing gear and you shouldnt have any issues....INSIDE your rig.I realize Management cannot be everywhere at all times. But at least make yourselves visible once in a while. It can make the customer think you care.
