Had my furnace and water tank replaced. Cappy was great from start to finish! They truly respect and value their customers. They went over everything with me and there was no bs, hidden prices, or any false expectations. Paul and Amy were always very responsive whether was call or email, and answered all my questions. Cappy installed my furnace and air conditioner years ago. They did a clean efficient job. Now recently, I had a condensation pump replaced. Same quality service and the tech was very friendly, patiently answering all of my questions.

I had had nothing but trouble with my 3 Waterfurnace geothermal units in the past and had hired 2 other companies to service them. Each previous time, I felt that the techs were sending me on a wild goose chase. No one was able to come to a logical diagnosis and solution. I was recommended several different options, some costing close to $50k.Justin came and really took the time with the specific diagnostic equipment for the units to understand and troubleshoot my issues. He methodically isolated the problems, explained the situation to me in a way that made sense, and implemented plans to fix them. He also spent several hours dialoguing with Waterfurnace tech support to tune my units to optimal specs.As a result, my units are working better than I can imagine. He didn’t try to upsell me and really tried to avoid extra expense on my behalf. So glad that I was able to find a trustworthy expert to help with my HVAC.
Best service in town by far for geothermal units. We have (and not renewing) a premium service contract with another company that couldn’t accommodate our request after waiting 2 weeks. These folks got us an extremely knowledgeable service tech (Justin) in 3 days (the service was provided the days after thanksgiving). Easy in and out, knowledgeable, respectful of your time and property. The team at the call Center was also very accommodating (Annie helped us a lot). My air conditioning went out after a July weekend storm. I called on Monday and the next day they had a crew out that diagnosed that the condenser was bad. They were able to get the hard to find part and make room in their schedule for it to be installed in a couple more days. I dint think any other company could have fixed it that quick during this time of year. The price was very reasonable and they were able to get my parts warrantied. I trust Cappy and their employees were all professional and nice to deal with. Thank you for fixing my air quick for my family!
Our AC myseriously stopped working and I called three companies to see if I can get service. Of the three Cappy got back to me quickly and we had set up a time. I was called later that day and was told due to a cancellation they could get out to my house the next day. Justin came out and was very fast and professional. He actually took the time to give me some tips I can do myself in order to keep my AC in order. Justin was on time when he called me he said he would be out between 8:00am and 9:00am and sure enough he was here at 8:15. I have an older AC system and when the time comes for me to get a new system I know where I am going to get it right here at Cappy.
Jennifer and Owen crushed it. Working, after hours, on a Sunday. Out within a half an hour and very kind and honest service.Im so Thankful.
On 7/3/21 we came back from vacation and our six year old Trane air conditioning unit was not working. We called Cappys Heating and Air Conditioning to review and fix the unit. The repair man from Cappys stopped by and it took him two hours to figure out what the problem was on our unit. He made multiple calls to other people because he could not figure out the problem. Finally he stated the the air conditioning blower motor was burned out. He charged us $387.50 for a diagnosis. I called the office and complained about the excessive charge for taking two hours to diagnosis the problem and not repairing the unit. The office did take off $112.50, so the total charges ended up being $275 for nothing. I was not happy. A few days later I called Harriman Heating & Air Conditioning who originally installed the unit. Their repairman John made the correct diagnosis in fifteen minutes, went and picked up a new blower motor and installed it in an hour. The blower motor was still under warranty and Harriman charged us $175 for labor. I will not use Cappys in the future because their repairman was extremely slow in his diagnosis skills and did not fix the unit. I felt scammed on being charged alot with no results.

Ordered parts, rushed the shipment, and Justin did a top notch job with the installation. These people are personable and care about doing a good job. I would highly recommend them! I’ve had Cappy out to service my home now at least five times. Each time, they’ve been prompt, explained in simple detail what was needed, and ensured that I was going to pay for anything I didn’t need. The technician I’ve seen the most is named Justin. He’s been as solid as any HVAC professional I’ve ever encountered. I’ll only use Cappy to address any HVAC issue or preventative maintenance needs I will have in the future. Stellar business.
I’m pretty excited about the switch that we made to Cappy. We were fortunate to get them on site with an hours of having an issue with our HVAC system, and repairs were made same day. In addition we decided to do the annual maintenance plan which unfortunately has it been done on a regular basis in the past. I’m excited to work with these folks and I found them extremely knowledgeable.
My water heater was only 1.5 years old when it stopped working. I was really frustrated because I had issues with the company that installed it; they had been subcontracted as part of a bigger project being done on my home. I decided to call Cappy instead. Not only did they make sure the manufacturer honored the warranty so I wouldnt have to pay for the replacement tank, they also made arrangements with my original contractor to cover the cost of labor. Amy in particular was really fantastic. She went above and beyond so that the appointment was scheduled ASAP.
These guys were top notch when it came to customer service. They were here right on time, wore masks and put on shoe covers to enter our home. I personally know very little about HVAC so they could have told me about anything. But, in they were very honest. Squirrels had done some repairable damage to the outside unit. They went over every detail of the bill and what could be expected at their next visit. They seemed to enjoy what they do and that reflected in our experience. I would suggest Cappy to anyone who is in need.
We just suffered a weekend in the 90s without air conditioning. Im a new home owner and am just learning about basic HVAC maintenance. I called a couple of places to schedule an appt and they were 2 weeks out at best. Cappys team gave me great advice over the phone that ended up solving my issue for under $10! Just some blown fuses outside. Saved me the cost of a service call! I am so elated to have help from empathetic people for urgent issues rather than someone just trying to make a profit. Cappy was the company that installed our heating and AC when our home was built in 2003. If we had an issue I didnt hesitate to call them. They are quick to respond very professional and always take the time to explain in terms we can understand what is going on. Just today I talked with Jennifer over the phone who is walked me through some trouble shooting steps on our furnace. She was a great help with our issue. Wont hesitate to call them again when needed.
Justin at Cappys helped me diagnose what turned out to be a failed thermostat over the phone, saving me a ton of money on what would have been an after-hours service call. Definitely earned my buisness for future work!

Cappy Heating & Air Conditioning has been a lifesaver. I will save you all the dirty details, but when the geothermal system that came with our house died, not only did Cappy recommend we remove it and replace it with a conventional furnace and central air - rather than continuing to dump money into a system that Im not sure EVER worked effectively - they also helped me navigate some major issues with our city where geothermal is considered a utility. Cappy saved us THOUSANDS of dollars with their knowledge and expertise of their service department and specifically Amy. I cannot speak highly enough of their work and especially their customer service. Thank you Cappy!
Everything went great initially, we knew from other techs that had come out the inducer motor needed to be placed, decided to go with Cappy due to Jennifer and Justin’s genuineness and helpfulness in getting everything figured out for us. Really appreciated Jennifer’s efforts in trying to get things fixed ASAP as we had no heat with small children in the house. However, it’s been over a month since a temporary part was put in (was told it’d be replaced within a week) and we have yet been able to get in contact with anyone at Cappy. Meanwhile, there is red liquid dripping out of the tubes on the temporary part and pressure switches are just hanging out of the unit...Update: got ahold of someone at the office who apologized and explained the delay in shipment. Had a tech come out the next day and fixed everything.
If you need someone to check out your a/c, call cappy and ask for Izzy! He was very polite, very professional and was honest and up front with us about what was going on. We have an aging geothermal system installed by a company that is no longer in business. Our compressor went out and Justin and Amy were able to find a replacement compressor, install it and have us up and running again. Justins knowledge of the system and what was needed was very good. He not only replaced the compressor but also added a soft start to avoid future failures. System is working better than it was new. Very professional.
After a rough start, Amy went above and beyond to answer any questions. She really knows her stuff and is a huge asset to your company.
Justin and Jennifer were more than helpful and responsive. Justin worked hard to assist me with challenges with my home warranty company. He was a great advocate. All work done timely, complete and professional. We liked them so much we scheduled routine visits.

Probably the BEST customer service experience Ive ever had: My air conditioner just suddenly stopped cooling just as we were getting 90 degree temps! Jennifer helped me first by getting me scheduled for a service call the same day I called when other companies couldnt get to me for 10 days. I needed a part for my unit - so then Amy jumped in getting me the part asap - even with the holiday coming up. Both Jennifer and Amy kept in contact with me - they called me - I didnt have to call on the progress of service calls or parts being delivered. The service technicians I had were also wonderful - they showed up during their scheduled time; called me to tell me they were on their way; and very respectful of my property to not dirty my floors or home. I would definitely use this company again - and have already told many of my neighbors and friends of the GREAT experience I had.
I had my furnace go out this week and Cappy was recommended to me by a friend I trust. We shared some photos and serial codes early, which allowed them to come out with the necessary part in hand and fix it as soon as possible.
Cappy really helped me out after another company came out and claimed the sky was falling and my entire HVAC needed replacement. Everyone at Cappy is honest, helpful, friendly, and prompt. You could go elsewhere, but if you want personal service with fair and honest assessment, call them. They are amazing!

I screwed up our thirty plus year old air conditioner trying to defrost an ice buildup on one of the hottest days of the year and just before going out of town on a two week vacation. I called several companies and settled on Cappy’s. Instead of running into an answering service, they had a retired technician answering the phone after hours. Rather than hearing how my “call was very important to them,” she took a fair amount of time helping me do some damage mitigation.They had a tech out for an evaluation promptly and they helped me do a temporary repair so that my pet was ok while I was gone. When I returned from vacation, they managed to accelerate the installation date, discussed honestly the pros and cons of a replacement versus a repair. Given the age of my system and the fact that it had not been doing a great job of cooling the house before I messed things up, we opted for a replacement.They didn’t try to upsell me, gave me an honest estimate, completed the job earlier than projected, did not leave a mess, and it easily passed inspection. Calls were promptly returned. My wife stopped by their office twice and was impressed with their office staff as well.2021 Update: We arrived home in 92 degree whether to find that our compressor was no longer functioning. My wife called and they managed to squeeze us in the same day. A part had blown but was still covered by warranty (parts only). The service fee was modest and they had us up and running. The service tech also showed us a couple of things to make our system work better for the future.Once again, they saved our bacon!!
Right in the middle of this heat wave, my air conditioning unit stopped working. I was at a loss, and called Cappy. Within minutes, I had a return call from Jennifer. She gave amazing and knowledgeable advice and helped me problem solve what was going on, without charging me. She took the time to make sure I knew what to do, and explained how to avoid the same problem in the future. We have been using Cappy regularly for the past 7 years on all our rental properties and they are wonderful to work with. They show up on time and take care of the citys requirements for us along with any repairs. Amy is great and always takes care of us.
Called on a Sunday and was given directions to attempt to remedy the situation regarding our air conditioning unit. Jennifer gave us things to try before scheduling a service call. It worked to a limited degree (no pun intended), but we were able to get a tech, Carl, the very same day. He gave us all our options and then proceeded to fix the problem. Our furnace and ac unit are old, but today we are enjoying a cool home. When we decide to replace those units, we are going to choose Cappy Heating.
I called Sunday evening because my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. Jennifer walked me through a few diagnostic steps to see if I could fix the problem myself. I purchased a new geothermal furnace, installed today by Cappy Heating and was beyond impressed with the quality of the installation. They were very professional and paid extreme attention to every last detail. They were very courteous and treated me with the upmost respect. They treated the rest of my house with care as they entered or exited. They were extremely knowledgeable in the process of the equipment and even took the time to explain the new thermostat for me. Had a furnace and high efficiency on-demand hot water heater installed after both were destroyed by the recent flooding. Cappy Heating and Cooling was very professional. They gave a decent estimate with a small window between the estimate and installation which was perfect. Within 2 days the hot water was flowing perfectly. The furnace hasnt been tried by me but it will soon be fired up. The clean up was done completely by the workers. When additional parts were needed, someone from the company immediately drove them to the site. All was completed in one day, hassle free and glitch free. I would recommend Cappy Heating and Cooling to anyone needing a repair or new units. They get a 10 in my book!
During a string of extremely hit weather, our air conditioner quit. Cappy Heating cane to the rescue the next day. Their Service Rep, Izzy, had our ac unit fixed and running within 45 minutes. What a relief. We highly recommend Cappy Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. 5 stars!
Our air conditioner went out on a 82 degree day and I just had a new one installed by the crew at Cappy Heating and Air Conditioning. Everything went great! From the initial call, to the salesman coming out, to the installation . We were impressed at how fast they completed the install. They cleaned up everything after and they were very polite to my wife and I. They answered all of our questions and gave us a thorough run through of the system afterwards. I would recommend Cappy to friends and family.
Ive used Cappy twice now, and both experiences were great. First, when my blower motor controller stopped working in the middle of a heat wave, they squeezed me in on a weekend, and at least got things running again (decided to replace the furnace a few weeks later rather than sink a lot of money into an old system). Second time was when my mother was coming back home from AZ in the middle of winter, and her furnace stopped working (52º in the house). Their 24hr emergency number called us back in about 10 minutes, and helped us get things working that night!
It is after hours on a friday, and my gas furnace air blower is not turning on. I ended up calling Cappys Heating and Air. I got lucky and spoke to Jennifer. Based on her knowledge of the issue, the system was not getting proper air flow. Her instructions on restarting the furnace and blower worked liked a charm, the heating system is working normal again. This type of help is how you get and keep happy customers. I will definitely use Cappys Heating and Air conditioning services in the future.
Had unit installed 5 years ago to replace a unit that was not as energy efficient. ( still worked great ) New unit worked great first two years but had a warranty issue which was covered by manufacturer at time. This spring Ac unit would not work tech came out for 300 dollars to give my wife an education on our lack filter changing was the issue ( which I do ). Called next morning to advise it has been changed and yes it still does not work, why you would not test system before you leave is beyond me. The following day same tech came out to look at unit again and found the issue which was internal and made necessary repairs needed ( unit works great ). Today switch unit on to heat house will not heat at all ( 6 months later ). Just overall disappointed and now I will write another check to repair my five year old unit.
We had no heat when we got up yesterday. Our technician, Justin Lang immediately determined it was a thermostat issue. He had to go pick-up the recommended product, came back and made the installation. He took all the time we needed to learn how to use the new WiFi thermostat (Ecobee 5). Justin is a fantastic young man! We have been using Cappy Heating for many years and have never been disappointed with the service.

I came home from my 4th of July vacation to find my air conditioner not working. In this blazing heat! I began to work down a list of heating and cooling specialists in my area. I called many (to say the least) and being it’s still the holiday weekend I was only able to leave messages or hear about astronomical prices just for them to come out and look. THEN Jennifer, from Cappy, called me back! She worked with me on the phone so that I could troubleshoot with her phone assistance. I was thrilled and very grateful. My furnace was working just fine but figured I should have it checked out and they did the install. They found my blower motor needed to be replaced which was under warranty but now my DE humidifier pump is going out. And they came out to check it charged me a $117 just to look at it and say it needed to be replaced. I dont believe in quincidence Ive had absolutely 0 issues till they come out. I have them come out to do the check up. And now Im having issues with my furnace. Draw your own conclusions but they will never touch my furnace again.
The guys over at Cappy are one of a kind. Im proud to say they are the best when it comes to Heating and Air Conditioning Services. I called Ms. Jennifer on a Friday evening, she tried helping me Over phone and was quite responsive. On Saturday I called her and told them I need the service technician to come over. I called today, Sunday and quickly received a call back from Jennifer. I wanted to share how much I appreciate the support that Jennifer provided me. My A/C went and we needed after hours support. She was prompt in returning my message, tried to help understand the condition while on the phone. She didnt have any openings this weekend, but called me back when a customer cancelled and fit me in on Sunday. If i could give 100 stars i would. My furnace was not working at all while we had temperatures in the single diggets. Amy Randall took the time to walk me step by step over the phone (for free) to trouble shoot the problem. She was absolutely amazing. Needless to say, she saved me lots of money and was able to solve the furnace problem. My family and i now have heat. Again, i am so very very thankful to Amy and the Cappy company!!! I will absolutely without any doubt be a returning customer!!!
Jennifer tried her best to help me over the phone to fix the problem but unfortunately we were not reaolve the problem. When I told her the brand of furnace I have, she explained that they do not have the parts to fix my furnace over the weekend. She recommanded someone, but unfortunately the number for the person she recommended is no longer in service, which is not her fault or Cappys fault. Excellant customer service.
We have had 3 different companies come out and look at the a/c the past few years and no one could ever fix the problem. Cappy Heating & Air Conditioning came out within a few hours and stayed until midnight to fix the problem. Staff were friendly and did a thorough job. Great experience.
Another company claimed we would either need to replace an expensive heat exchanger or replace our entire 15 year old furnace. Justin came out and discovered that wasnt true, recommended a cleaning and some less expensive parts that could help extend the life. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, useless, company in my life. First, they claimed they couldnt contact me back because my phone doesnt allow blocked calls ...well, thats a lie. My roommate and I tested it after sitting for an hour on the phone with AT&T trying to figure out why I couldnt receive the call. Then when I made contact through the answering service, Jennifer told me to take my filter out, shut down the furnace for 30min and then turn it back on without the filter in it. Then she said she would call back in an hour and a half....guess what? 3 hours pass, and NO CALL. So, I call back. They said that they would put the call through again. But, yet again, NO CALL...called back to give them my roommates # to see if that would work, still my roommate had to call back 3 times. Finally when she made contact, the same lady answered and gave her the same run through as me. My roommate explained that we just want someone to come out and the lady started challenging her about it, yelled at my roommate and then ended the call. Needless to say I was willing to pay, willing to listen, wasted my whole day, and my house is still 85° because of their arrogance and terrible customer service skills.

Awful customer service! The dispatcher was pleasant enough, although it took a couple of calls from me to get a call back from a tech. I would like to think that I just caught Jennifer (tech) on a REALLY bad day because I was horrified by the way I was talked down to; going as far as raising her voice at me. She had an attitude throughout the entire phone call, especially when I let her know that I had been through the basics already and would like a tech to come out, not try to diagnose through a phone call because this had already been done without success . I cannot judge on how well they get the job done because I will not be using their services after that nightmare of a phone call!
These folks really came to bat!! 5am xmas morning it was cold in the house,called Cappy. Jennifer called back and told me what to do,didnt work. Carl called and after sending him pictures and my son and I wiggling things we had heat!!! Amazing service,they wanted to try everything before I had to pay. Will definitely call them again

The young men that came to clean my furnace today were very polite and explained the problem as best as they could, it seemed to be 3 different problems. I should have made a copy of the service report, the second page is blurry.
Our ac stopped working today and Cappy called us back immediately to talk us through fixing it. We spoke to a woman named Jennifer who told us what things we needed without charging us which we greatly appreciate because everything on our house seems to be breaking now that its the hot summer months.
Our air conditioning went out in the evening and in under an hour we got a phone call from Jennifer talking us through what could possibly be wrong. She was so helpful and knowledgeable! Awesome experience! Highly recommended!

Home ws only 1 year old when air condintionar sprung leaks. 1st visit, found issue, 2nd visit, added dye to find leaks, forgot to order part to fix. 3rd visit, found out no part was ordered, now on 4th visit and a year later. Lousy service, lousy service with thier office staff. Always late from time they promised. I would never recommend Cappy to anyone. My home was new when they added air and heat, instalation was sloppy, lines were palced inconviently so we could finish lower level walk out. Just a bad expirence all together.
My central air quit and From the beginning of my call to Amy and her setting me up the same day the technician added me on is his already busy day 90 degrees outside. he had me up and running within an hour and a half thank you for going the extra mile!

Cappy? No, CRAPPY! $75 to show up then $95 an hour to repair in labor cost alone no matter what charged minimum of 1/2 hour. HVAC is the biggest racket I have ever seen. PASS.
Had good experience with them. We were trying to figure out what wrong with the furnace and Jennifer tried to troubleshoot the problem with us over the phone which helped us save money. Would use them again.

Poor customer service & follow-up. I dont appreciate being told that they will order a part and it should be here in 2-3 days, then a week later I have to call multiple times to even find out why they havent notified me or updated me on the progress of the order. Ended up calling back and canceling the order. I will not use them again because I obviously was not valued as a customer.

They doing the horrible job they super charge you for everything they do I pay more than $65,000 for my new home I just build we haven’t even been three 2years in a property where did recondition is leaking and I called him to come and fix it and the guy who came to fix it he have the next year or two he even told us not to call this company ever again after he have got paid $65,000 that is that ridiculous I wish that they be out of business

2022-01-22Kind and helpful Jennifer called me back within 10 minutes at 8 pm. On Friday night!My furnace had a routine cleaning today at 9 am from family heating and cooling! I was told everything was fine I paid $140.00 but when I returned home after being out all day I found the house cold and 59 degrees! The high today was 18 degrees! Jennifer knowing it was a bitter night helped me trouble shoot until the morning when they could have a technician come out! She was knowledgeable, kept me calm and treated me like. A friend! 2022-01-10Best service ever!My furnace stopped working day before Christmas Eve.I thought it was going to be difficult to get it fixed right before the holidays. I called Cappy Heating & Air Conditioning at 7pm and by 10:30pm my furnace was working again! Last night my my furnace quit working again in the middle of the night, I called Cappy and by 11am a technician arrived and my furnace is working once again. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received by both technicians that came to my home, they were friendly and professional.

2022-04-29Jim Reed was my initial contact sales rep. He was recommended to me by my realtor and was the main reason I went with Cappy for my major project (2 new furnaces and 2 new ACs). I had 3 HVAC companies come out to quote the work I needed done. Jim was the only one to notice some duct damage (which was also missed by my original inspector before purchasing the house). He was also very thorough and focused with detailing out the existing system to make sure it was compatible for the project and in good shape. The other guys I had give me quotes looked at my ducts for 30 seconds and then started going into pricing and different models. Before the quotes came in, I was already leaning towards Cappy because it seemed like the job would be done with the best quality. Much to my delight, the quote from Cappy also came in as the least expensive. No-brainer to go with them. Job was completed quickly and with no issues. Passed inspection with no problems. With all of the stresses of a new house, this was surprisingly one of the least concerning things I had to worry about because Cappy was able to do it all from customer service with quick communication to completing the job exactly as advertised.

2022-04-28Justin was the first HVAC tech out of the three companies I’ve had out to my home for an A/C repair that didn’t use a minor issue as an excuse to upsell me on a $5k+ whole system replacement. He was honest and gave advice with the mindset of what he’d do with his own money and it very well might have saved me thousands of dollars and weeks without an A/C system.

2021-12-23The guys were incredibly helpful, considerate of property and went about and beyond to make sure our heating and cooling system was running efficiently, including finding two disconnected ducts in the attic (we had been unknowingly heating the attic!) and they came back with the necessary supplies and fixed it in a very timely manner. I will recommend them whenever possible. 👍👍

2021-11-22Our furnace stopped working on a Saturday am, in 40’s outside. They got back to me and tried to trouble shoot some things over the phone, then arranged a repairman visit for a few hours later. He had to get a replacement part (a motor) from a store about 20 minutes away and came back and had the system working within about 2 hours from the start time. Responsive , friendly , professional, and efficient. Awesome service!
