Nice Quiet Park on the banks of the St. Joe with better Playground equipment and amenities. Has boat launch to the river with Pier. Can fish from the banks.
Friendly, scenic park. Lots of duck poop but what is nature right? Kids always enjoy themselves when they go as well as a relaxing time for adults. Been going here since I was a child

My favorite place to launch our little boat and cruise up to the lighthouse and back. Well maintained and clean restrooms. Id like to have a picnic here sometime this summer. My only complaint is that the restrooms are overwhelmingly fragrant! Makes me feel sick. Other than that, nice park
Small but nice playground that the kids love. Close to the river for extra entertainment of rock skipping and watching for birds.
Great park it’s a diamond in the ruff, there’s a open pavilion right next to the river for rent to residents and non residents and clean bathrooms.7-13-18 New play ground equipment has started to go in today should be done and opened this Friday. For those asking about baby swings we will get some on order and have them installed in a couple weeks. If you have any questions or concerns about any of the parks contact the twp hall and ask for the parks dept.

Popular place for boating. Theres a picnic pavilion, a few s kids and subs for the kiddies to play, and a baseball diamond. Not sure if they have water fountains, so bring your own!
Great place to bring the family theres a boat ramp, tennis courts ,baseball diamond fishing hiking trails theres a place to have a cook out. Benches to watch the boaters and time to reflect ect. And plenty more.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Great place for picnics, birthday parties, family reunions and any other event. There is a small covered pavilion with picnic tables, a boat launch, and a newly renovated playground.
I just went there to have a bite to eat with some friends but it was absolutely Beautiful.
When nature counts, this is great, clean, well kept, quiet, serene, lets keep it beautiful.

This appears to be a great park right along the river. I was surprised that there were hardly any people there when I visited. There is a playground and baseball field. It appears to be a nice park. See my pictures for further details!

I was excited to accidentally find this place, I live near by and when its hot its nice to be outside and not in the back yard. I wish there were baby swings there so my one year old could swing.
We had a class reunion there. It is a very nice park. We almost had the place to ourselves. Very nice by the St. Joe River.

2022-06-04Fun and interesting playground, great birdwatching opportunities. Come at sunset to watch the seagulls dive for fish. Very clean, well kept grounds.

2021-10-03Update. Recently the secluded trails have been posted with gates and no trespassing signs. I regret posting some of the details in my initial review (see below). At least the pictures can be shared.This park is a nice oasis just outside of town. There are secluded trails along the river. In the spring some trees flower brilliantly. There are large pavilions and seating along the river.

2019-08-19I really enjoyed this Parks friendly inviorment, water sports, and family activities available. We held our 1984 Class Reunion there. Go Benton Harbor Tigers Class of 1984!!!

2020-08-09Visiting this park is part of my routine when in the area. It is typically quiet but occasionally hosts gatherings. There are large shade trees and often a nice breeze from the St. Joseph river. My canine friend loves this place. The grounds are well groomed and the river front view is an expansive panorama. This is especially true if you find the secluded / hidden trails. Hint, some are just outside the park.

2021-06-17Carronade Park on the River is a hidden gem with beautiful, clean picnic areas, pavillion, swing sets and Tennis courts. Easy in and out exits. , Well shaded with a beautiful view of the St. Joseph river.

2019-10-06This place is great, a hidden gem tucked inside a neighborhood. This wonderful park has a great covered pavilion with picnic tables. The park is lined with great fishing spots in the St Joe river, youll catch catfish, bass, bluegill, crappie, lake trout and salmon here. They also have a great looking playground for kids situated smack dab in the middle of a safe neighborhood. Cant wait to come back again.
