Mohamed is one of the best BMW mechanics I ever came across. I had an active steering disabled issue with my 550i sometime back and the dealership estimated 2k to do something after an initial diagnosis but with no guarantee that it will fix the problem. The service manager was all I could talk to at the dealership and he wasn’t technical enough to give me the confidence to proceed with the repair. Mohammed on the other hand had a very consultative approach to problem solving, discussed the possible causes after an initial checkup and his immense knowledge about the car gave me the warm and fuzzy feeling I was looking for to proceed with the repair. In the end, the problem turned out to be a leaking oil gasket which short circuited the wire harness and disabled the active steering. He had to replace the wire harness completely (which btw was also the same diagnosis by the dealership but as I said with no confidence) whereas Mohamed and team were confident of their approach and took care of the whole thing. The car is completely fixed now. I’m very glad I went to Mohamed and I strongly recommend his services for all your precious Bimmers!!

Moe is a terrific mechanic. He does a great job and really knows what needs to be done to your BMW. I can fully trust my automobile in his hands. He is the best around!!!Also, he wont try to rip you off like the dealers do! I highly recommend using him for anything your BMW needs.

Mohammad knows BMWs inside and out. He tells you straight to the point what the issues could be and any other potentials problems that could come up later. Doesn’t sound like a salesman but still has excellent costumer service.
Mohamed is a very straight forward guy. He doesnt sugar coat the problem and charge you something that you dont need. He is definitely knowledgeable when it comes to BMW (The only brand he fixes in the shop). The prices are reasonable being its a BMW. You wont find a better place in the area.
I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs repairs on their BMW. Mohammed worked at the dealership for over 20 years and he is VERY knowledgeable about anything related to BMWs. I went there for the first time less than a week ago and he was very welcoming and nice. He replaced the water pump and thermostat on my 528 in a timely manner and he also changed my brake fluid with no additional cost when he noticed it needed to be added. He is willing to explain anything related to the car and is very helpful and also shows you the parts he replaced and answers any questions you have. His paper work is very detailed and his work is unbelievable and so precise. You can go there and trust that you car is in good hands! I was recommended to Mohamed for my bimmer by my office friends.My car was showing service engine soon light. I just walked in for a diagnostic test. I really liked how Mohamed explained each thing in detail. He put the fix right away. Per my past experience, at other places I was not told about the issue and the fix and on top of it they try to over sell and cheat you.Mohamed is very knowledgeable and explained the issue in details and also made me aware of few things that I was supposed to take care.He is a BMW Doctor !!I recommend him and wish him all the best.
Mohammed is a very nice guy with beautiful heart know how to work with customers and understand their problems. He is having good knowledge and great experience with BMW cars solved my issue in couple of minutes and very cooperative. Mohammad and his staff are very attentive to their customers. (They treat you like family) Mohammad is very knowledgeable about BMW’s and he has a love for the brand that it’s displayed in his workmanship and conversation. Ive been bringing my two 5 series to Cars Unlimited for over 5 years. Im an unfortunate owner of the E60 N54 twin turbo that has been subject to numerous class action lawsuits relative to mostly the faulty design of the fuel delivery system. Mohammad has went above and beyond helping me to get multiple issues covered under warranty after BMW refused to play the thousands of dollars to fix the issues.As a small business owner myself, I understand his struggles to maintain employees to help him out and the issues of small business ownership. If you have a major repair and expecting to get your car in dealership turnout time, than this shop isnt for you. Go pay 3x the cost at the dealership. Hes basically a one man show and cannot do repairs as quickly as a major dealership. However if your looking for a fair price to repair your import this place is great.Contrary to one previous review indicating the good reviews are written by the business relative to my review this is false. I have been and will continue to take me two 5 series to Mohammad for repair.
I would rather take my car to the junk yard than to take it to this place, the owner Muhammad is a real rip off artist he will lie to your face just to get more money from you, they still parts off your car and. Brake parts on purpose just to make you come back if i could give them something less than a 1 star i would whatever you do dont i repeat dont go to this place toke my car there for head light repair and pick my car up with a blown abs module no power steering more problem than when i toke it there and he tried to tell me it was like that when i brong it gtfo..
I’m very thankful to have found this place. Mohammed is great. I’d come here after another shop tried to charge me for an expensive, unnecessary repair. He explained to me what was actually wrong with my car and earned a lifelong customer in the process.

I had Moe work on my 3 series several times. The last time I was in it cost me around a thousand dollars but after taking it home I realized the car was still leaking oil. When I tried to take it back they told me he was behind and would take another 3 weeks to look at it after I had waited several weeks the first time. Moes communication is poor and you will have to keep calling to check in. I chalked it up as a learning experience. I think Moe is a descent guy but a small biz owner that’s overworked and understaffed. I have since used Auto Tech right down the street and they specialize in foreign as well. They were about equal in pricing but professional and got me in and out the same day for a radiator and tie rod.
I have been to Cars Unlimited twice now and each time I have been impressed. I have a 2007 BMW335i and I was anticipating a costly bill both times. I was overjoyed at the prices that are half of what the dealership charges and the honesty of the owner Mohamed. I am actually shocked by Sam Litos previous review for a couple of reasons. 1. BMW did not make a 330xi in 2008. 2. This man does not smoke weed. I mean that was just ridiculous. My car needed a coil and it was done and promptly and the owner even waited for me to get off work to pick my car up and offered to drive me to work. I feel like the negative reviews have to be either fake or under the wrong business because I have never received such honest and amazing service.
Mohammed took great care of my 5 series! He stayed up until the early morning in order to give me my car the next day. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Prices are reasonable too! I will always take BMWs to cars unlimited!
Mohammad Hamze is an honest skilled (BMW Certified) mechanic with an excellent (long) pedigree working on BMWs. Hes approachable, nice and very thorough. Hes been working on my car for years. Never a problem. Always a top notch experience.
I’ve been coming here for several years for all sorts of repairs major and minor, Mo has always been respectful and works diligently. He’s beyond knowledgeable in this field and can show it through his work. This is a trusted business that always offers fair prices, and the quality of work is superb! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
I had left my 2004 BMW 645ci at the shop to fix electric problem. The Moe mechanic had told me he will have to do few wiring and program my car. I left the car for few weeks than return. I came back to check the status. My car exhaust missing / car audio amp missing/ I had aftermarket LED halo lights missing. VVT module and several other module missing. He started saying my car was like that when I brought it in and started lying. Luckily I had a video when I drop off the car at his shop. I showed him the video than Moe started change his voice tone and started acting like now some from stole it. The module and amp is in the the trunk and it does not open without a key. How the heck Thief can open my trunk and steal stuff .. unless theif had my key. Long story short. Moe is a fraudulent man. Karma will get him one day.
Moe is a great guy. Hes worked on my 335i, 550i and M5. Every single time I go in he ends up going above and beyond and fixing small things that he notices. Last week I went in for an exhaust leak fixed on my M5, but he also replaced some of my fading BMW symbols and somehow fixed my broken cup holder. None of this stuff was mentioned to him, he pays attention to detail. To add to all of that the job cost about 40% of what the BMW of Ann Arbor was going to charge. Couldnt be happier.
More expensive than other places. The work they did in my car was decent. But they claimed they couldnt fix a part on my car with out charging me much more. (Another shop did the work correctly and for a fair price.) I feel they over charged me and kept my car for a long time and didnt even fix all the problems I brought the car in for.
Cars unlimited is a wonderful establishment. The owner knows BMWs in and out! You cant beat his prices and to know your vehicle is in good hands is a great feeling. Just throwing this out there they ONLY repair BMWs and do not sell cars.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would... but Yelp makes you at least give one and they dont deserve it at all.This place came highly recommended from all the reviewers here, however I have to question the authenticity of these reviews after the horrendous experience I just had here.This man named Mohammed (the owner) gave us so much lip service as to how he is an honest man and that he takes care of his clients.I had my X3 towed to his shop and I let Mohammed know that my Father was passing away 3 hours from this location (this was on a Friday, October 3rd)... that I needed a bit of urgency with my vehicle as this is the only one I have. He ASSURED me that he would get right on it and to not worry. This was early in the morning on that day. He sent us off saying to go grab lunch and relax and that he would CALL us back. Well...HOURS passed and NO call from him. So we decided to stop by on our way home to check on any progress. He talked to us and said that the Module (whatever that is) of the car not working, the EWS??? NOT working. He kept showing us what his little diagnosis machine was saying. He told us AGAIN that he will continue to work on my car since I needed to be on the road soon. We left trusting that he would tell us SOMETHING so we could pay for whatever needed to be ordered and get it done.This NEVER happened. We came back later that day before closing to retrieve items from my car since. By then it was obvious it wasnt going to get fixed. I got my things and he told us he needed more time to diagnose, I had to rent a car for the weekend but ONCE AGAIN he reassured me that before the day was over, he would call us to tell us whats next. That call once again NEVER came. The weekend came and went this man never called me.Fast forward to Monday, I decided to call Mohammed at 11:43 a.m. to check the status of my vehicle and Mohammed got on the phone where he VERY rudely started going off about he needed time and that I just needed to wait and to let him look into the issue of the car further. I explained that I have been waiting for call backs for days with none. He once again told me he would call me back 5 hours later my husband called him to ask what was going on, and one of his workers told us that Mohammed was gone and not going to be back for a couple of days.Once my husband showed his displeasure. We get a call back from Cars Unlimited (the same employee who my husband just spoke to) telling us that he called Mohammed and he wanted us to come pick up the car from his shop because he decided that he was NOT going to repair it. This was at 5:00 p.m. in the day, leaving no choice to get another tow, this time to Farmington Hills BMW, where I just shouldve taken it in the first place but instead of doing this I trusted all these reviews. Which it makes me question these.I highly doubt people are okay with not getting any communication from who you should be able to trust fixing your mean of transportation. I will be notifying EVERYONE I come in contact about the establishment (and Im using this term very loosely)...and FYI to everyone out there doing business with him. He was so unprofessional as to show me the copy of a customer of his drivers license, because he bought a car from this desperate man whos father had just died for 10k dollars when the vehicle was only a couple of years old and it was actually worth 30k dollars plus! So this goes to show the lack of integrity this man has that He would take advantage of someone in that grieving state! This is Deplorable behavior.
Im in Detroit for an out of state job, originally from Chicago and my x3 started making a loud as noise from the engine, called the dealership in Farmington hills, not room till next week, long story short went with Mohammed hes a BMW pro, he replaced the valve cover and let my baby ready to go back to Chicago, definitely 100% recommended.
Called on a Friday to bring in car, was told to drop off on Monday. Called Monday morning to verify, they said yes, bring it in. Had it towed to the shop and they refused to accept because they don’t have anywhere to put it so I had to tow it back home. Terrible customer service and you’ll get a different answer from every person you talk to. Don’t waste your time or your towing fees taking your car here.
These guys do excellent work. They know their way around a BMW and their prices are extremely reasonable. No reason to have work done anywhere else.
Dont take your car here. Not only is the owner rude and a thief but he says racist things about people. I took my bmw 535xi to him to fix and left with parts missing off my car and new problems that wasnt there when I took it to him. Horrible horrible person
The guy that owns the shop hands-down the best guy around hes always answer questions it dont matter if you fix it there or not I will tell you whats wrong with it and they will not add anything extra to the work took my Range Rover to him everybody told me I need airbags and he said it was only a fuse I saved $3,000 because of him

Great place I have been here two times and they haven’t disappointed. Muhammad fixes my car and explain in great detail the process and how to maintain the vehicle.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE -1 star I WOULD .I TOOK MY 2008 330XI THERE FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE & AND AFTER I PICKED IT UP (SMELLED LIKE MARIJUANA IN THE CAR) AND MAGICALLY MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AND ALSO MY ABS. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER IN ANN ARBOR AND WAS TOLD SOMEONE TAMPERED WITH MY SPARK PLUGS AND TOOK OUT MY ABS SENSOR. PLEASE AVOID THIS UNPROFESSIONAL POT SMOKING RIP OFF..

Brought my 2004 BMW M3 in two years ago and since then Mo has restored the car. He worked on the brakes, shocks, muffler, front and rear lights etc... He installed a new bluetooth radio. The interior trim that was worn (180,00 miles) was replaced along with new leather for the seats. We just returned from a long road trip with car and it drove like a dream. Cant thank you enough Mo.

2022-08-20A friend at work suggested Muhammad to me for repairs that were needed on my recently purchased used BMW 750 LI. I’m very fortunate that I chose to follow up on it, as my friend said “ Muhammad is the man! He’s the best BMW repairman in the State.”I had a lot of issues that popped up quickly after purchasing a used car from a Dealer in Clawson. My dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree within a week. I ended up taking it to Muhammad shortly afterwards. My car went from night to day in performance! Whereas it was stalling on me at lights and on turns amongst other problems, Muhammad fixed a lot of the main things to make it run well. I also received an oil change, plugs, and coils to name a few.Unfortunately for me, due to my money constraints, Muhammad let me know I’d have to come back to fix the ABS , wheel sensors and some other things.When my car started leaving me stranded for short periods on extremely hot days, he diagnosed that too! He is so good at what he does. If you’re like me, it’s been hard to find someone you can trust so much to work on your car- well, you can trust Muhammad!Muhammad searched and found some good used parts to fix my car for a lot less than the dealership would charge to fix. He also - free of charge- took off my headlights while repairing a blinker, and cleaned them up to like new condition! They look amazing! My car was also very clean when I picked it up, and my car is now without all the Christmas lights on the dashboard, it is running very well! I feel like I’m driving a new car now.Lastly, Muhammad is very experienced and excellent at what he does. He’ll take care of your needs and you and your car will be all the better because of him!

2022-06-08DONOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS! The owner is rude and lacks customer service skills. He curses at his customers and belittled their intelligence. I have never experienced such crude behavior at a business establishment where Im spending my money.I have a BMW which needed a new front light. I brought in the light and the owner said the labor would be $300. After diagnostics. The owner said I needed a new modulator because the old one was fried. He ordered the part and I left my vehicle there Friday before the holiday. He said it should be ready by the following Wednesday. A week and a half later..no part still. The owner had an attitude everytime I called to get updates about my car. Then the owner finally said to pick up my car part is not in and he doesnt know when it will come. Possibly on back order. He originally told me he can put original light back in and put car back together for $120. Then when part comes in I pay $180 plus cost of modulator. The owner instead put new light in with old modulator. He returned my car to me with light not working at all and demanded the full $300. I had to call the police because the owner was so belligerent. I was afraid for my life! Police warned me that they receive alot of complaints about this business and told me to get my car fixed somewhere else. Worst car experience of my life.

2022-06-20Where do I start? This place is the most HORRIBLE shop I have ever been to. Mohamed is so rude and he doesn’t know what he is doing. He just likes collecting BMWs. I have a 92 BMW that I needed the AC converted to an updated system. So I called his shop because of the reviews and Mohamed said he can convert it. I drop the car off on a Tuesday and he promised me the car will be ready by Friday. He talks a lot and was overly friendly that day & my gut told me not to leave it but i did anyway. I called on Thursday for an update and no one answered the phone so I left a few messages. I called on Friday, same thing, no one picked up and my calls were not returned. I called on Friday and a receptionist answered so I asked for an update on my car and all you heard was Mohammed screaming in the background “I DONT GIVE UPDATES, IF YOU KEEP CALLING HERE I WONT FIX YOUR CAR!!” They close early on Saturday and I didn’t have a ride out there at that time to go pick it up.I went on Monday To pick up my car whether he fixed it or not. When i arrive, there is a new receptionist, She was trying so hard to find the work order for the car and she asked him if he filed it under a different name and he just blew up at her!!!!! I felt so horrible for her! she was like 8 months pregnant & new on the job for 4-5 days. I couldn’t believe the way he was screaming at her!! What a pig!!! She found the work Order under a totally different name and asked me if I wanted to update it but I told her I will never come here again so it’s not necessary. I paid the $300 and could not wait to get out of there. When I got home I checked the car out and it was missing a BMW sticker on the wheel, two tire caps on the wheels & it had a whole bunch of scratches on the hood plus the A/C was blowing hot air!!!!!! So i reported him to the BBB. Mohammed is a thief, a liar & very unprofessional. Save ur money & take ur BMW somewhere else.

2022-07-05I had an accident in May, and filed my claim through Geico and had my car towed to this shop. Mohammed spoke to me on the phone and assured me hed get the car fixed. He later told me Geico tried to declare it a total loss 3 separate times, and Mohammed went back and forth with them to save my car. In no way was he obligated to go to such lengths for me and my car, but he did it anyway. He went as far as performing some of the labor at no charge so Geico would not salvage the car. Moe is one of the most honest mechanics Ive had experience with, and even though he has a lot on his plate, he still cares deeply about every car that comes through his shop. If you need any repairs, this is the shop to bring your BMW to.

2020-02-02Moe did a great job diagnosing and repairing my 2003 Z4 that wouldnt start and I couldnt figure out how to fix. When I tried to scan the car with my mechanic friends professional $1000 scanner, no codes showed up so I did research on the best BMW shops in the area and I took the car here. The 5/5 rating on Bimmershops.com sealed the deal. I typically try to DIY all of my automotive repairs as I dont trust most shops, but im glad I found this one.Moe went through the car in depth and was able to trace all of the different lines to getting the car to start. He fixed the car quickly and cheaper than I thought itd be. He also went through the car and gave me a list of services/repairs the car would need soon. Some I did myself, some I let him do.This past week I had the convertible top motor changed and they were able to do quicker than I could ever do it at a fair price. Well worth the money.Bringing a BMW here is like having dealer mechanics but paying independent repair rates. Highly recommended!

2022-01-13The Owner was very straightforward and explained everytjing and even made suggestions for the future . He even made sure that all notifications that was on the car was corrected and the price was really good compared to taking somewhere else where they do not know BMWs and would just have charged me over the top just because they could. Honest owner, old school fix it shop with new school knowledge, definitely recommend this shop. Keep up the good work!

2021-12-09Mohamed saved me and my husband from hundreds of dollars of repairs, called bmw and they did not have anything until dec 24, took it to one mechanic to see if it would be safe driving since the vehicle did not feel stable, that mechanic told us we needed to change the lower control arms and was charging 300.00 for labor. Took it to Mohamed, received us the same day, the tires were bad!! he did not even charge me for the checkup, He has won a customer for life. Thank you for working with honesty and heart.
