Ms. Kahlaa was so kind and so helpful throughout the whole process! She fit me into her schedule for a road test on short notice and she was very professional. She showed up exactly on time for our appointment and explained everything thoroughly. I walked in nervous but she put me at ease and made me comfortable. The road test did not take long at all and she gave me feedback after the test. She also let me know what I needed to do after I passed and how to go about getting my license. If you plan on taking any classes or a road test, I definitely recommend Ms. Kahlaa and her business! Thank you!
My son didn’t pass his first try, but the tester kindly told us everything he did wrong and how to do better. We practiced and easily passed the second time. Very kind, flexible, and patient, not stressful at all. I never leave reviews, but honestly this team deserves your business.
My wife is a new driver in the U.S and she was very nervous prior to the road test but Ms. kahlaa Selami made my wife feel at ease and gave her clear instructions and expectations. I had my 2nd test with Ms. kahlaa yesterday and I passed!! I took my first one two months ago and failed, afterwords Ms.kahlaa broke down everything I needed to improve on and to be more comfortable and confident I was kinda upset but I practiced more and used the tips she provided and seen a way better difference in my driving. I appreciate all the feedback she had given me. It helped a lot so when I took the 2nd test I was way more comfortable way more confident and it was a breeze. So if you ever test here I recommend Ms. kahlaa she is the absolute best she also has her own driving school so check her out.

I took my road test with Kahlaa Salami and she was wonderful. At the end of my drive she explained the things that I was penalized for very clearly and gave me some very valuable advice as a new driver. She takes her job seriously so she did not sugar coat anything but at the same time made me feel very comfortable and calm will doing my drive. She also has her own driving school (delta1) and I would recommend new drivers to take her segments. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I had taken my road test today with ms. Selami and had a nice experience all throughout the test. She was very calm and clear with her instructions and was happy to clear up any confusions there were. She also explained what I had to work on at the end of the test which I appreciated very much.
Take your road test with Ms. Selami, she’s the best! I was already extremely nervous when I first started but the exam ended up being a piece of cake because of her! She was extremely patient and had a calming presence therefore it went by so fast! Make sure you’re well prepared and take it with her you won’t regret it!

I took my road test with Ms. Kahlaa Selami and would absolutely recommend anyone looking to take the test to use CD driver testing! You won’t be disappointed! Ms. Selami was very professional and polite, and she makes you feel very comfortable right away! I was super nervous when we started and by the time the test was over you would’ve never known! She was very clear with her instructions, and was good about telling you what she’d like you to do next in a timely manner, which allows you to take your time and complete the task confidently/efficiently. After the test is completed, she gives an amazing and thorough review of your skills and any/all errors you may have made, followed by useful tips or advice on how to correct them going forward. Even though she was telling me everything I did wrong, it left me feeling positive/confident rather than discouraged- which I highly appreciated!!I found out she has a driving school (delta1) as well, and had I known at the time I took the courses, I would’ve went there instead. She was so informative in the little time it took the test, that I can only imagine how educational and beneficial taking her actual course would be!

Our son took the driving test with with Mr. Dimanin this weekend and it was a positive experience. My phone message was promptly returned when calling to set an appointment, test details and requirements were clearly explained and reminders were sent out ahead of the test. Mr. Dimanins voice mail greeting was also clear regarding remaining available appointments when we called.Mr. Dimanin was on time, calm and patient throughout the road test and he provided clear and specific feedback after the test was completed.Scheduling drivers education/training during the pandemic has been difficult but scheduling the final road text was quite easy with CD Driver Testing. We plan to use them again with our younger child. Highly recommend.

I took the test today and I passed. The lady who was the instructor was very kind and reasonable.
My experience was terrible. I made my appointment and did not receive a confirmation email, text or call. I had to call several times just to confirm my own appointment. I paid $80. When I called to confirm my appointment for Monday at 9 am, they told me I still had it and to be there 10 minutes early. When Sunday came, they texted me and asked me if I was still coming after confirming my appointment for Sunday. I called and no answered. Then I received a called from the lady saying I tried to switch my appointment. The lady thought I was arguing and would not let me speak, told me I was a liar and that my time is over then proceeded to hang up on me. Absolutely terrible.

Im writing this review not because Ive passed the driving test yesterday with Chris. Im writing it because it was an experience for us (me and my wife) and we kept speaking about it for days.Scheduling for the exam date:I called CD Driver Testing Inc. and left a call back message. Chris called back and we scheduled a date for the exam. It was on Saturday morning and it costed us $80. During our phone call, Chris was clear on what preparations were needed for the exam and that he was available if we have any questions.(My advise is if they can have an online scheduling system)Exam Day:Car park/stop examThe examination area for the car park was pretty neat and the cones and the lines were clear. Chris was clear with the instructions and he left us with no questions to be asked.Road test:We drove in Canton (residential and non-residential), and we then drove on the highway. It was a 30 minutes drive. The instructions were clear and the nice thing about Chris is that he doesnt make you feel nervous.Results and after test:After having the road test, Chris provided me with my result/score. However what was surprising is that Chris told me that he can simply provide me with the score and leave me with it, but he wanted to share with me what mistakes I have done and how to avoid them, and his advise on how to protect ourselves and others while driving from fatal mistakes.Chris is very passionate for his job. Hes not there just perform tests, he knows the responsibility that is set on his hands and last but not least we felt that he was there to deliver a message for new licensed drivers.Thank you CD Driver Testing Inc. -- Thank you Chris.Ismat & Dona

Do not go to Canton with Chris! He is prejudiced, xenophobic, rude, aggressive, hell treat you badly every chance he gets, hell make you feel nervous, he wont give you too much detail about your score if he understands youre not fit to pass. I honestly dont understand how such a bad professional can be employed and authorized by the traffic department to be an instructor. he doesnt like foreigners and always assumes that everyone should lose. he is the worst professional I have ever seen in my life, he has a bad approach and makes absurd demands. he is the personification of the bad example you should never follow. I spent $70 on a person who is not able to evaluate anyone before having their own psychological evaluation approved by a psychiatrist.

I was very very happy with the information shared, both positive and negative comments about the quality of my daughters driving, and his personal level of commitment to making each student a better driver. This is my second child to go thru drivers training (first was 3 years ago somewhere else) and while both passed, this was a very thorough, well thought out- drive/test and Chris was very comforting, confident, informational and relaxing. My nervous daughter was put at ease fairly quickly and was able to give a good driving performance. All her areas that could use improvement were discussed, and what she did well was discussed. Our cost was $55.00 and I have no problem paying that for the quality of test giver that Chris is. I highly recommend CD testing!

Met Chris 6 years ago when my first daughter tested with him, and have sent my other three kids to him over the years, and he just tested my youngest daughter. He is fair, honest, and has great stories to share to keep you safe on the road! Highly Recommend!!
I took my road test with Ms. Selami and it was a breeze! I used her car since i have a cracked windshield. She told me to take a big breath and relax. First we did the parking lot test and she explained everything in detail that was needed of me. After I passed the parking lot test, we moved to the road. Again she explained everything about her car. We might have drove 10 to 15 miles before the test was over. She kept conversation going to ease my nerves. I passed the test and she was just as happy as I was. I recommend her. She also told me she teaches drivers ed. Check her out.

I recently took my road test with Chris in Canton, MI. He was kind and eased my worries. He was very thorough in his explanations and made them easy to understand. After the test was over, he went over what I needed to improve on, was sure to remind me of the various ways to be safe on the road, and told me to follow all the rules. I highly recommend going somewhere else.I have EU driving license for 10 years now. (Its not like I cant drive in US). But I needed license here. Price seemed reasonable $50, so I made a appointment with Chris in Canton.This guy has some serious issues. I was trying to be nice to him. In the end he is your examiner.But any argue, he take as an offense. He expect you to behave like frightened school kid. (that is what atmosphere he creates). I am sorry, but you shouldnt make a lesson to an adult (or anyone) how badly immigrants holding hamburgers drive in US.When he was saying that I am not looking on the sides, I couldnt stay quiet. He left the car in a moment I argued that I was looking out for the traffic. Rambling something about showing off or whatever.What he meant is - I was supposed to move my head to show examiner that I am looking around. I didnt know that at the time, but the way he was explaining my mistakes was so infuriating.And BTW, world will certainly thank you for failing me. In a way that hopefully they will not choose you after reading the review.He has 2 stars for all the other things not related to his attitude.
I had a great experience driving with Chris. I passed my road test today(in the second attempt). He really put your nerves at ease and is very professional. I failed the first time because I made a blunder mistake! But he explained me my mistakes very nicely which I think was fair enough. Just follow all the rules, go by the study guide and you will pass the test smoothly. Will definitely recommend him to anyone living in and nearby Canton.
I think he is taking the anger towards these ruthless drivers onto these new drivers. According to him, nobody should pass these test regardless how long you have been driving. I thought my daughter did great, but after a 20 minuets lecturer in the car, he still marked her failure. Upon asking where were the points taken, he just said to go read the testing book!! If you want to pass the test, don’t go to this guy. Simple as that!
My daughter tested with Ms Salami who was very thorough. She explained the test well, had a calm but serious presence which was perfect to help my daughter focus and also feel comfortable. Test took about an hour, we used our car although there was an option to use the instructors vehicle for a fee, just depends on what works for you.Great overall experience

My son took the test with Mr. Chris Dimanin today and was he was thorough and put him at ease (me as well). Was phenomenal in explaning what was required, directions everything. If your child is nervous about their road tests book an appt. with Chris, he was extrodinary!
The first time I took the test, I failed the parallel parking. My car had an issue with the reverse beeper and it was constantly going off, both guys that were there dropped what they were doing to help me try and fix it, because it was obviously throwing me off. I went back the next week after they helped the issue and I passed with flying colors! Everyone there was really dedicated to helping me, and made me feel less nervous and comfortable. Very kind people.
Mrs.salami made was a great test inscructor. I was very comfortable and she corrected my mistakes in a nice way.

I really enjoyed testing with CD Drivers Testing. Chris is not only knowledgeable in the subject, but he makes sure you as a driver are aware of more than just the dos and donts listed in the book. At the end of the test, he takes the time to go over what you did and didnt do well in to make sure youre actually learning and practicing being a safe driver, instead of just giving you a pass because its convenient. Definite 5 star-tester.
Nice and professional way of handling business, I would recommend this place to anyone who’s taking their road test.
If you want a tester that blows off his responsibility, this isnt the place. Chris tries to keep the kids calm and explains his expectations clearly to the driver but is very thorough in his evaluations. When its over he took the time to tell my daughter everything she did wrong (and right) and explain the dangers that young drivers face on the roadway. Hes a person that actually cares that the kids can drive safely.
Leaving this for the canton location. Chris specifically. Called for a friend of mine that was looking to take his drivers test. Chris told me to have my friend called him. My friend was at Secretary of State waiting in line to renew his permit so he could take his test today with Chris. When he called himself, we were told that he didn’t want to deal with someone who had to get their permit renewed (why that matters is completely irrelevant and judgemental) and was told that someone else would take our money and he didn’t feel like doing it anymore today. This was completely rude, unprofessional, and uncalled for. This young kid has been through a lot in his life and is trying to take the mcecessary steps to get his license. Chris, there are many others that would happily take our money not only just for business but to help make a milestone of this kids life. You could have done better.

I had the driving test with Kahlaa salami today, she charges 50$ if you drive your car but i had to use her car so i paid 90$. I have been driving for 9 years overseas so i didnt have problems with controlling the car and driving, i had difficulties in learning the different rules. Anyways i passed the test and had a good experience with her, she was a nice lady that is why Im giving her good reviews.

Chris did a very complete and professional job with the driving test my son took today. He was timely, prepared, and you could tell he took his job very seriously. My son passed the test, but Chris took extra time to make sure he understood the few errors he made while driving, in order to keep him safe on the road. Chris was efficient in setting up the test, moving my son through all of the needed items and communicated clearly. We have three other kids and we will be returning to CD for their testing.

If I could give him 0 stars I would. We used this company previously for our 2 older sons and recommended our younger daughter call to schedule her test in Canton. She called on Tuesday to schedule her test for Saturday, but had been gone for most of the summer and didnt realize that her permit had expired. When she let Chris know that she was going to renew it the next day and still wanted to keep the appointment he was verbally abusive on the phone, belittled her for wasting his time, called her irresponsible, canceled her appointment and even threatened to use her debit card for personal purchases since she had already given him her number. She was distraught and very upset. While she went Wednesday morning and renewed her permit- there is no way we will ever use or recommend him again. I dont know how someone who claims to work with kids could be so cruel and unprofessional. It may be time to retire if the way you deal with young adults is to be mean and sarcastic. Shame on you.

Mr. Dimanin was both patient & professional & took the time to emphasize the crucial lesson in making sure to Check traffic in all directions, which appears several times in the Driving Skills Test Study Guide.Furthermore, Mr. Dimanin took the time to compose & review a double-sided score card that he took the time to patiently explain what my daughter did right, & more importantly, what she needed to work on.Thank you Mr. Dimanin.

Kahlaa salami was plain rude in person and very unprofessional when spoken to over the phone. One of the worst testers Ive ever met. She also increased the price of the exam.Dont come here if youre in the Dearborn Heights area. Im not sure about Chris, but Kahlaa is not a good tester. You can find better testers for cheaper nearby.

Kahlaa salami was my daughters testing agent. Not only did she allow us to do a same day test (due to issues we had at another company) she had a cancellation and allowed us to take the spot. She was so soft spoken she interacted well gave great direction she did everything she could to make my daughter comfortable I loved that she was a honest person she explained everything that was done correctly and everything that was a mistake Kahlaa was just amazing thank you to her I will go here again for my sons test shes a God sent! 2021-12-19Testing with Ms Selami was great. The test started promptly at my appointment time. She had the correct balance of being kind yet professional and was good at giving instructions. She also provided some detailed comments and suggestions at the end on how I can improve my driving after getting my license. Do note that there is no center at the place, so just meet her at where the parking cones are right in front of Michael Berry Career Centre (for the control skills test as pictured). Overall, I would recommend this testing place to anyone.

2022-06-16I came in today very stressed out and didnt quite know what to expect. Mrs. Selami made the entire experience, from start to end, incredibly easy and calming. She would tell me to calm down and that it was alright, which really helped with soothing my nerves. Furthermore, she gave wonderful tips after the test which really helped me keep things in mind becoming a new driver.Overall, 11/10 experience. I certainly suggest you sign up for your road test here. Very flexible and even more friendly!

We were so nervous as this is a first time driver but she helped us through and we are so very grateful. Also she was quick to get us in, responded to our calls and texts right away, and was close to home. Thank you CD driving!!!!

2022-01-12Had an amazing experience with Ms. Selami! I was super nervous going in but she made it very comfortable. I didn’t even realize the test ended because I had gotten so relaxed. And as the reviews go her final tips were so great. She really clarifies what to fix and how to fix it. Absolutely recommend her!

2022-04-02I’ve had the best experience performing a road test with Mrs. Kahlaa. She is a very pleasant, professional and detail oriented lady. Mrs. Kahlaa explained the test steps very well to my father that recently arrived in the United States, her way of testing and instructions made him feel safe and not stressed out.
