Signing in was quick and easy, nurse Kelly was so nice starting with my vitals going over details of what to expect regarding my procedure, Ben was fun and explained my nightcap for my procedure and of course the star of the show Dr Nandi very professional, caring, and again explained my procedure which was painless. Dr Nandi came back to inform me of a positive outcome no need to come back for five years! This was a great experience other than the prep which we all don’t look forward to! All in all I want to thank you all!
The reason for my low rating is specifically due to the receptionist, Karen. Karen seemed helpful and friendly at first, but when I had asked to clarify a question on the paperwork, Karen proceeded to get loud and frustrated with me and my dad claiming “we should know” the answers. To me, it was very unprofessional and it made me feel like I was stupid. Meanwhile, the ladies behind the desk are gossiping complaining as to why they shouldn’t have to work on the day before a holiday.
The best experience Ive had for a procedure like this. Ive never had a bad experience anywhere, but for some reason, the Macomb facility was just top notch. From walking in the door to leaving was filled with friendly, thoughtful people, who made me feel I was the getting the very best care!
If I could leave zero stars I would. only in it for the money not the patients best intentions. Dr Tocco punctured my intestine after procedure and I couldn’t even get him on the phone to discuss what he did. Billing people are near impossible to get ahold of and very rude when reached.
Dr. Qualich and his staff are truly amazing. My husband and I both see him after going to someone else who we didn’t care for due to the lack of compassion. This is definitely not the case here as every single person we have encountered shows they truly care about you and your health. I rarely do reviews but I highly recommend Dr. Qualich and am extremely grateful to have found him for my health needs.
Every person I spoke to was kind, gracious, thorough and professional. From making an appointment over the phone right up through leaving my appointment - every single person. Every step of the process I would go through was explained in detail and I was encouraged to ask questions. I highly recommend them!
First off I would like to say I understand the WHOLE WORLD is short staffed. But to be on the phone for OVER 21 mins on hold is not only unprofessional as a business and discurtious to customers, your patients. I had to set up an appointment for ascites findings seen by my neurosurgeon via MRI. And I communicated this finding to the front desk girl I believe her name is Karen. Well she advised me that I had a copay that still needed to be paid of 25$. Ok I get that. And would have to pay another copay to even set up an appt. Um first off I have never heard of this ever, pay copay BEFORE YOU CAN MAKE AN APPT. 🤨 and I have been in the nursing field for over 25 years, really!!! Then I was transfered to billing to pay my copay. How I was treated for owing a 25$ copay was ridiculousness. Clearly you are not a patient only a $$. So I will be conducting my medical attention else where. And if this causes any issues because of the wait to get into another provider. I will seek consultation. For refusal to provide services over a 25$ copay. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT OVER 21 MINS, THEN BE TOLD YOU HAVE TO PAY COPAY BEFORE YOY CAN SET UP AN APPT. WHAT A PROVIDER TO DO THIS!!!! I DONT GO TO THE DR FOR FUN. BTW THEIR LEAVE A VM PRESS 0 WAS FULL. SO GOES TO SHOW YOU THEY DONT CHECK THEIR VM EITHER!!!! COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED AS A FELLOW MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.
I’ll get the negative out of the way first. The only issue I had is that they REALLY wanted you to buy the prep kit from them. Not a huge deal but they were more forthcoming with information on buying a prep kit than just letting you know exactly what you need to prepare. Other than that the experience (colonoscopy) was almost delightful. From the office staff to the prep nurse, anesthesiologist, doctor and recovery nurse. It was my first colonoscopy and they made me feel completely at ease. Everything went down EXACTLY like they said it would. I highly recommend the staff at the 22 mile and Romeo Plank Center for Digestive Health.
I am extremely happy with this location for my procedure. They assisted me immediately along with getting registered. They couldn’t be nicer and were very professional. I was also called later on in the day to see how I was feeling. I would highly recommend this practice.
The entire staff at Center for digestive health was warm and welcoming. Having the types of procedures that are medically necessary can be very unpleasant and uncomfortable, this team made me feel very comfortable and relaxed my state of mind. Thank you. I would highly recommend Dr. Sante Bologna or Dr. Webber for your medical services.
This was my first Colonoscopy. I experienced a first class experience start to finish. After walking me through and finishing the prep phase, I was greeted by staff the day of the procedure and finished within two hours. Thank you all again for this positive experience.
First off all, Dr. Wille is the best gastroenterologist I have ever had! He not only excels in his field and is very respectful, informative and professional, he is also very laid back, and relaxed with a caring and attentive personality. He really listens to every word you are saying and responds. Further, while I was there I interfaced with about 12-15 members of the staff. Amazingly, every single person was extremely, patient and kind. Everyone from the folks in the office who register you, to the staff that takes your medical info to preparing you for the Colonoscopy/endoscopy lab, and the medical staff in the lab completely explained what they were doing and why. I honestly would have to say it is the most caring atmosphere I have ever experienced. The entire staff was 100% invested in your comfort, care and security. I will always look forward to returning to that office if necessary with confidence and without reservation of any kind!
My experience at the surgical center was great! Roger, Vicky, Kathy were friendly, knowledge and made sure I was comfortable pre/post procedures. Dr. Quallich explained the process of the procedures and why he was doing them and talked with me post procedure. If you need to have an egd or colonoscopy I highly recommend Center for Digestive Health!
I will recommend this office to friends and family. Everyone is very professional and welcoming. I had a procedure done and I could not have asked for better care. The post-op nurse Denise was awesome. The pre-op nurse was excellent too (I wish I could remember her name). The nurse anesthetist had great bed side manners and explained everything that was happening. Dr. Nandi is very professional and will spend time to answer your questions. The nurse that walked me to my car was wonderful also. Every person I came in contact with went above and beyond. My husband had two procedures here a couple months ago, and he had the same experience. The efficiency is amazing. I was in and out in 1.5 hours.
Dr. Nandi and his staff are very kind and compassionate. My anxiety was very high and the staff did their best to put me at ease. The fact that they offer Saturday appointments removes one of the barriers to people getting their exams as they do not have to take two days off work. A great example of their concern for patients getting the care they need. I would highly recommend the Center for Digestive Health.
Dr. Nandi is the best! He saved my life! Love him. I recommend him. He and I just met 9/18/19 he found the issue 9/19/19. His bedside manner is also great. However, the nurse I had who prepped me( Cathy-Black scrubs) was horrible! I was unsure of what I could have done to her. I was pleasant, I was kind, and all of the other nurses laughed with me and made the visit great. Unfortunately Cathy seemed to be uncomfortable with me or maybe my brown skin and made sure to be rude and short with me. But Dr. Nandi was great!
I cant thank Dr. Weber enough !! He is saving my life!! He is very thorough and goes the extra to make sure any tests that needs to be done is taken care of!! Ordering a CT scan before we did a scope he seen some masss and right away called me and referred me to the best Gynecologist -Oncologist surgeon to take care of what was growing on the inside of my body! I still suffer from digestive issues and he still is treating me for those issues.Thank you so much for you and your staff for having a caring heart and not treating your patient like just a routine number!Dr. Weber you are the best!!
COLONOSCOPY scheduling experience: The hold times to set an appointment, ask a question or make a change are like 20 minutes long. And check if your insurance considers them in network because their office wont do that for you. They just take your info and set you up an appt. I found out after checking for myself that they were NOT in my network and unfortunately not until after I ordered my prep material. I had to send the materials back and spend $8 in shipping that I will not be reimbursed for. NOT COOL. And if you have to cancel, you have to leave a message. You cant get someone to talk to you and confirm they received the message. Time and money wasted. Its too bad because the wait time for colonoscopies is so long due to Covid. Research the doctor youre are assigned to as well to make sure they have a good reputation because they just assign a doc to you if you dont have a relationship with one.
Wonderful facility and excellent staff including front desk, assistants, RNs, CRNA and Dr.They made you, comfortable, warm. Skilled procedure such as IV, and sedation and colonoscopy done well and efficiently. Staff explained every step of the process. Could not have been more satisfied.
I hadnt been in this office for four years. I signed in and found out my appt. was for 11:15 am and not 11:45 am as I thought. The office was so accommodating and was able to get me in though The Medical Assistant who checked me in was so so friendly. Her smile lit up the room.
Very unpleasant look given to us when we entered the office -- WOW, we just wanted to leave the office. The lady at the front desk would hardly say a hi or a hello or anything of that kind. My 5 year old would say a HI to her a few times before she would reciprocate some manners!!!! Anything opposite to unfriendly is what I would tell the lady at the front desk was.The doctor himself was really good. Dr. Nandi took his time to answer questions and was kind. He tried to understand and find what the underlying cause for my problems were.
Very grounded friendly people.Office waiting room is cool, so bring a sweater. After a short 45 minute wait, I was on deck, Amy took me to my prep room, v/s were obtained, quick history, IV start (1st time).Very nice RN..( For once you knew who was caring for you...it said RN right on her name tag, which by the way was worn correctly ! Name and rank facing out.Next up was the Nurse Anethitest (sp), pleasant young man.....younger then me.....he pushed me around somewhat ( gurney) . I felt the cold sedation going up my arm, next thing I was in recovery, doctor had been and spoke with her ( I wish they would NOT do that, she incorporates things he did not say, like its not too much EXERCISE to wash dishes etc.Frank my little can of grape drink, got up and went home.....to do the dishes.Great bunch of professionals !!!!!
Worst office ever! Called for a refill the girl at the desk named Amanda was so rude. Told me I couldn’t get a refill for my medicine I need everyday until I got an appointment 2 weeks from now. Told me its a pandemic and I need to have a virtual appointment. What does COVID 19 have to do with my stomach issue??? Nothing!!!! All I need is a refill.... I don’t need an appointment they are just trying to charge insurance to make money! I have ulcerative Colitis and need medicine. They don’t care about patients, just money! Don’t waste your time here!!! Switching dr offices ASAP. The way they treat people is DISGUSTING and Amanda shouldn’t have a job the way she talks to patients!!!
Ne and my mom sit for a half hour get all the paper work done then we go into the doctor room and I get weighed and my height measured and then they say ‘have you gotten vaccines’ which we don’t do that and when we say no they basically kick us out, don’t even refer a different doctor or anything because it’s ‘their policy’ that they don’t treat patients without vaccines. They seem like professionals but seriously. Now I’m not gonna get any help because I don’t go and get shots that wear off in 5 months.
Absolutely worst experience. Dr did not even look at the pictures which were sent by previous doctor. Simply stated that there was nothing he could do. Period. 5 minute appointment after waiting a long past scheduled appointment time.. His running behind in his schedule is no reason to shortcut later patients .
Start to finish everything for my husband’s colonoscopy was well organized and efficient. Detailed instructions. Multiple reminders given in a variety of ways - texts, emails and actual phone calls from human beings. Did not wait long in the waiting room. We were in and out in about 2 hours. I’m going there myself as a result of a very good experience.
I don’t understand negative reviews. Schedule people were very kind, receptionist was kind, my nurse was amazingly kind . Dr. Bewick and her technical assistants were so kind. As a former medical person, I agree that patients need to take some responsibilities for their attitudes and behavior. These people are trying to give us the best possible results. I was given excellent directions (which I followed to the T). My first colonoscopy and very scared, but this staff, was wonderful! Will see them in 3 years.
I read some reviews here and some bad reviews here I could see it might be the patient :-). I dont want to be mean, but as a patient, you need to take a little responsibility too. I understand, this is their JOB. You also have to understand, the people who run the office are no different than you. I have been here 4 or 5 times, every time I go, staff is EXCELLENT. Maybe not a bubbly smiley staff as I see people here giving a bad review, but they get it done. Be nice from start to finish with them, have all your info [license, INS, and copayment ready], and this will begin you visit perfectly. Colonoscopy prep? Im a quadriplegic, and prepping sucks, BUT YOU NEED TO RESEARCH ONLINE along with instructions given by any doc to be sure of any issues, if there are, contact the physician, if he or she is short with you, ask to speak with another. This isnt rocket science people, we all dont get along with every doc. My first visit with Donat, I wasnt sure, but now I WILL ONLY SEE HIM, great guy, great doctor. Oh, if you dont like this practice/office, go to another one, bottom line.
I’m conflicted. The doctor I saw was so kind and patient with me. She really made me feel like I was heard and ended up diagnosing me with IBD. The problem is, she prescribed me with a medication that gave me horribly blurry vision. Then prescribed another medication to take instead. Since I started taking the first medication, and then switching to the second, I have felt sick every single day in some kind of way. It’s either a migraine, stomach ache, burning in stomach, bloating, nausea, blurry vision, etc. So I call and talk to her medical assistant. She gives me so much attitude and talks in the most monotone voice. Almost as if I am bothering her. I can’t get an appointment to see my doctor until 21 days from now. I’m seriously miserable and I don’t know what to do.
I’ve been going there for years, they are wonderful. The Doctors at Beaumont told me to take my dad home and call hospice. If it weren’t for God and Dr Weber my dad wouldn’t be here today (6 years later). One of the few doctors that will “take his hand off the door knob “and give you all the time your need to fully understand what is going on and what your options are.
Very unprofessional. They discriminate against unvaccinated children. They will kick you to the curb if they find out you are unvaccinated. They don’t post anywhere about this. We waisted our time filling out forms, waiting in the waiting room. Getting weighed, measured, blood pressure taken. Only to be asked to leave once she learned my daughter was unvaccinated. Dr. Varghese humiliated and de-valued her. Very unprofessional. Shame on you Doc.
They neglected to give me full instructions for my colonoscopy/ no time was given for the second dose of prep, which is crtical to a good test ! The receptionist actually asked me to finish forms while I had diarrhea running down my legs; I soiled myself and their floor. How can they be so oblivious?!? I am still in pain the day after which isnt normal! It is too rushed! I wont go back to that practice!Their incomplete instructions were VERY poorly written, and it turns out their prep is NOT FDA approved!Instructions should be clear, they should inderstand we need a bathroom at hand due to the prep, and tbey should stop rushing us through their assembly line, which is how life threatening mistakes get made!
They have no waiting room for persons who bring someone for a procedure. They tell you that you have to wait in your car in the parking lot. You cant even wait in the entrance way on one of the chairs. Really!!! So you have to run your vehicle for an hour or more in the winter or summer or just sit in your car. This is the first place I have ever heard of that does not have a waiting area. I would never get a procedure here and have to make someone wait in their car. Someone should rethink this procedure. Doctors and medical staff are very good but not this part.

2021-07-30I was extremely happy with the care I received. The staff explained the procedure and answered all my questions. They were very friendly and professional. Doctor Weber spoke with me both prior to the procedure and afterward. I was given an post procedure instructions and received a follow-up call to insure that there were no issues. I would rate my experience with Dr. Weber and the staff at Center for Digestive Health excellent.

2021-08-08After 5 years it was again time for another colonoscopy. Making the appointment was easy. Then, there was efficient email reminders regarding how and when to prep. An easy to order package of supplies was offered but I just obtained everything locally. On the day of my procedure, all went very smoothly. The staff was very, very professional and the results clearly communicated with a printed report and photos to take home. I would recommend this practice.

2021-10-02The entire staff was extremely friendly and efficient. They took an event that by all means is awkward and intrusive procedure and made it as pleasant as it could possibly be. Everyone was caring and engaging. I highly recommend this office for anyone needing their services.Thank you.

2021-11-11By far the best service I have ever received at a physicians office. It started with the young lady who took my information and it continued through my procedure and ended with the young man that made sure I made it to my car OK after my anesthesia. Five stars isn’t enough

2021-10-16From the moment I arrived and was checking in to walking out the door was truly a comforting experience. At 72 , this was my first colonoscopy. I was definitely surprised at how caring, comforting, and professional the entire staff was. A special thank you to Dr Richard Willie, for trying his hardest to get me into a better place, for which he did. You all should be proud of yourselves for how professional and comforting you all where! Thank you for making an awkward procedure less frightening.

2021-10-13Read all reviews prior to my appointment for a colonoscopy! I agree with all the 5 star ratings! Dr. Bologna who did my procedure was great! Sense of humor which was appreciated. He came in my room afterwards sat down and talked to me. Everything was great. The staff- Amazing, friendly, and caring. The nurse anesthesiologist didn’t mess around! She knew her stuff and told me what she was doing as she did it! Great team work💜The worst part was fasting, and drinking Miralax with Gatorade, and that wasn’t that bad!For those who are reluctant to get one, don’t be!I am 55 and this was my first. I was the same way, so glad I didn’t cancel my appointment like I did the 3 times prior!

2021-10-13Everything was organized and efficient. The staff/nurses were great! Lynn, Kelly, Cindy, Jasmine, Phil, and Dr. Tocco were amazing, and made my procedure a piece of cake! See you all again in 5 years!
