Comment: Great baseball fields. They are probably the best in the local area. Park has a disk golf course and tons of other amenities.The EATDRINKLOCACAL.SCV events are a joke. Stop putting up unnecessary fencing and try to remain ADA complaint. Because right now, with the amount of beer available and handicap parking is a joke.

Comment: I was at Central Park on Santa Clarita, CA, for the Tacos and tequila festival where Baby Bash performed later that evening. The park is huge and has several amenities. Disk golf, large grass areas, an adult area not sure whatexactlywhat was on there, and bathrooms were clean.

Comment: Attended Bloom Fest on April 14th. Rained on and off and was a little soggy. Still those of us that dont melt in rain turned up. All the vendors have beautiful things for sale and if money was no object, would purchase something from every one. Great for unique and one of a kind items and beautifully crafted. The food trucks are a brilliant idea. Lots of options. The band is a festive touch. Something for everyone. Highly recommend a visit. There will be another date in May. A lot of space, a lot of parking, specially the new area by the stairs.The fields condition could be better; the grass is usually bad, which gets in the way of the children playing soccer. Hard to be a good soccer player without the minimum conditions. City should invest more in replacing the grass more frequently.The restrooms are usually clean and fairly decent. At least one more restroom around the park would be helpful since depending on the field you are, you have time to walk a lot.There is a dog park that is nice and the so are the basketball courts.There is a vending machine by the bathroom that is always lacking drinks. It should filled more frequently.

These include the concerts during the summer, regular walks on the trails with our walking group, and most recently, a star party with our Local Group Astronomy Club. Many good times there!

Comment: Great venue but one big problem... NOT ENOUGH PARKING for events. Some people had to park 1/2 mile down the street... EASY SOLUTION... Open soccer field behind bathrooms to parking. DONT Water day of event, its done all the time for car shows on golf courses. AND you can charge $5 as preferred parking fee. PROBLEM SOLVED!

There was lots of room for restrooms 🚻 by the lasso area which is better for everyone including handicap people. The park was clean and nice just they restroom layout was a joke

Comment: Some fields are like diving on concrete. Dove for a ball yesterday and got road rash. Not to mention a busted up knee and elbow. They got to add more dirt so it doesn’t feel like we’re playing on concrete! Also that long hair umpire they got on Sundays is horrible and has been for years. Surprise they don’t find him some classes so he can learn the game better

Comment: There are various exercise facilities and there are several trail courses. What I like most of all is the leash off zone. It was good that the puppies could run around as they wanted.There is no over size parking area, and if you stay for a while, you have to park horizontally, but if you have a lot of cars on the weekend, it can be a bit of a problem.

So if you are meeting up with someone, get a little early. It is hard to find your way around. Plenty of parking through out the park.

Comment: I spent yesterday afternoon and evening here celebrating Juneteenth, put on by NAACP SCV, under the guidance of Valerie, the president of our chapter of NAACP, because nobody else could pull off such an amazing and wonderful job. Today, Sunday, is actually JUNETEENTH, and its about time it is also now a FEDERAL holiday!! So maybe Central Park was just alright, and NAACPs celebration of Juneteenth (a day early) made it PERFECT!

Comment: Playing rec league softball here used to be so much fun, unfortunately the guy who runs it lets his umpire Ray play in the league, and do whatever he wants, he talks during other teams at bat, he walks every time and gets a runner, and then he trash talks the whole time. Then the blue gave him free calls cuz theyre buddies, and no matter how often you tell the commissioner he doesnt do anything about it. Overall the entire park including all of the fields, and playground and courts is gigantic, but the baseball field, and football fields could be in better condition. Thanks Ray for ruining the game for everyone.

Comment: This is my go to Park in Santa Clarita.Its near to Vallencia and Plum Canyon.There is a surplus of parking when no Sporting events are going on, with shade to be found.Heaps of baseball and football fields and a great1.5 mile plus loop thar elevates high with some great views. There are signs fir everyone to wear maks except for when actively playing a sport on the field.The playground has sand and it was fun fun my toddler to play there befor COVID restrictions. One big slide is always in the sun and is really hot but otherwise tge playgrounds is a toddler fave!We enjoy coming here!

Its needed.Or at least it will be once organized sports gets back to normal someday.We walk the dog twice a-day and we are seeing so many folks enjoying the park!! The front 9 are all putter range but have trees obstructions and the back nine are more drivers with wide open fairways. There are public restrooms and drinking fountains. Comment: Love this park! I take my dog every day and he gets so excited when we pull up. As do I. Its clean. Its green. Its open. Its family friendly. My man says it reminds him of back home in Austin, Texas.On a daily basis, though...there is always one person with their dog off the leash, letting them run al over the fields. Right next to the many signs saying Dogs must be on a leash at all times. There is a designated off-leash area. Thats where your dog can be off the leash. Anything else is illegal. I have to say, however, that dogs-off-leashes is less common here than at Canyon Country Park. Its further away from my house but is much better maintained and safer for myself and my dog. Which is surely what everyone wants when taking their morning walk.

Comment: I went to the Boots & Brews Country music festival held here and let me tell you it was so fun! They had about 6 artists performing at the concert and they also had a huge variety of food available and a ton of vendors selling their wares. They had a big dance floor section and a little rodeo area too. This is the 3rd time Ive gone to this festival and it just gets more fun everytime!! The tickets were only $40 too and for kids under 10 it was free. They may have had a lot of beer available but it was still a family friendly place. They had great security too which is always a plus! Seriously though, this festival is held every June in Santa Clarita and if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend going! You wont regret it!!

Comment: This is a spacious, lovely park with a good number of shade trees for a hot day. There is a memorial to youth killed by vehicles that is a very peaceful space to sit and think. It wasnt crowded on a Sunday afternoon and anyone I encountered while walking around was friendly and had their dogs on-leash.

Comment: It’s huge and gorgeous even in winter when the trees are bare. However, there’s only 1 bathroom for this park that is many blocks in all directions. We stopped at Stawberry Fields- a monument for John Lennon who was killed across the street from it in front of his apartment building. Walked for a bit near the lake. We had lunch from a food cart- nothing spectacular and I recommend avoiding them because they’re expensive and not very good. I have seen so many movies with bicycle and horse drawn carriages and thought it would be cool to hire one to take us around the park. Nope. Not for $4.99-14.99 per MINUTE for the bicycle drawn carriage. I asked about a flat rate to go from the American Museum of Natural History to the Guggenheim. One guy wanted $35 and the other wanted $55. That’s for about ½ mile. No idea how much the horse drawn carriage is because none were around. If you visit you must go during daylight hours- too dark otherwise.

It has outstanding lighted baseball fields (4), basketball courts, soccer fields, walking trails, workout center, volleyball, ping pong, disc golf course... There is a sports center in the park for scheduling and checking out equipment. The front nine of the disc golf course is in the very back Behind the baseball fields towards the water tower/pipes on the hill. It has short tees and is fun for a quick round. The back nine is clear on the other side behind the basketball courts and soccer field and is all dirt with long tees. This park is busy in the evenings and host many leagues events and concerts. The park had lots of playing fields, I saw people playing soccer, softball and lacrosse. It looks to be well kept. There were also trails and fire roads on the hillside. Comment: I am always really impressed with this park every time I go. It seems to be very well maintained and there are always tons of activities and events going on. I go specifically to visit the dog park, which is usually well populated with other dogs and has a specific area for small dogs which is nice. The people there seem to pay attention to their dogs, and all the dogs I have encountered have been friendly and well behaved.

Comment: Beautiful park. There are many spacious areas to hike or have a nice picnic. There is also lots of shaded areas ti just sit and relax. Pet friendly and clean 😀

Comment: This park, has a little bit of a everything, there are enough fields to keep your dog entertained for hours; or pick up a game of soccer or football.There is also a pretty nice hike if youre up for it. Once at the peak of the hike, youll have a great view of the city. I visit this park often.

Comment: Plenty of fields for soccer, baseball, & Frisbee games. Large play area for kids. Convenient bathrooms in 3 locations. Basketball courts and an outdoor workout equipment area. Disc Golf course sprawling the length of the south side of the park. Walking trails. Community garden. Large and small dog fenced play areas. This is a great place to go with your family & dogs. Plenty of things to please everyone.

Comment: This park is really good and safe for kids and family outing. Its a very big park and offers swings for kids too. In a really nice area as well. Highly recommended.
