I was replacing a 26 year old Kinetico system.Obtaining a quote was simple and easy. Kinetico sends you a picture of the agent coming to your home so you know who to expect. The agent (Mark) asked several questions to ascertain my needs and made several recommendations. It was important for me to compare apples to apples with other companies in the area. The quote was easy to understand and competitive. Replacing holding tank (with fittings), softener system, and adding an iron removing system.The installation process was timely, thorough, and complete. The installers (Sam and Wesley) were polite, attentive to details, and clean. Care was taken to make sure my home was not a mess or had materials tracked throughout. They made sure I was satisfied with the installation and operation of the system before they left. Very impressed with the attention to detail.This is my third Kinetico system and I am very pleased with the function of this system. I would recommend a Kinetico to anyone and make this purchase again. They have been known to be a more expensive line but they do offer models that are closer to competing brands, depending on your needs. I opted for a higher quality system as I am counting on this system to last 26 years like my older model.
Everything about the experience was amazing. Mark didn’t pressure us during the initial visit, he explained what our water contained and how Kinetico would resolve the issues we were having. He was relatable and incredibly knowledgeable!The install was trouble free and exactly on time. Our install tech Sam was super friendly and made the install seem effortless.Overall I can’t say enough about our entire experience, everything was easy and made us feel super positive about choosing Kinetico CGC!
IGGY was great explaining what we needed to Better our water filtration. Tested everything and then showed up our options. Great salesman without trying to push things that we didn’t need. Great follow up calls prior to the installation day. And the installer Ryan was also a very nice guy very professional and installed our new tank in a way that wouldn’t take up more space in the basement where our old system was previously installed. Would recommend these guys to anyone.
Ed Fuller first came to test our water and exceeded our expectations in how much time he spent educating us about the difference and value in a Kinetico water softener. Jeremy Luchenbill came out the NEXT DAY for installation and was extremely friendly the entire time. He went above and beyond in taking the time to clean out all of our aerators after installation and showed me how to change the filters, etc. I also want to mention how great they both were interacting with our dog! The value is in their product and customer service, I’m happy we chose Kinetico!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! This company installed and services a whole house filter system and reverse osmosis faucet for my fathers home. The representatives are polite, professional, and prompt. They had clear pricing (much better than online prices for the filters, too) and had financing options for the systems. I highly recommend this company!!
From start to finish, it could not have gone any smoother. The thorough explanation from technician Ed Fuller to the arrival, installation, and the overall explanation of the products after install was 100%. We are very pleased with the work done from Sam, and Chris. Everything was professionally installed. Water softeners, reverse osmosis, water heaters they know it all.
Tried something different. Installed an improved technology Water Softener system that is more expensive than traditional systems - Kinetico brand.CHC is the main local Contractor that I found for this product. Salesperson, Karen helped us understand the products and had the Unit installed.Im very familiar with General Construction and observed a quality installation. Unit runs great, Im using less salt and I trust less electricity. The water is good. Time will tell, but so far so good on the Kinetico Unit.Re: service; Karen and office staff are available for questions.However, my best experience was withService person- Ryan G.He came out to check Unit after 1 1/2 years. He found routine services issues and fixed everything, even things he didnt have to. He kept all work within a liberal Warranty period. He was professional and pleasant.I recommend Kinetico (if you believe getting what you pay for) and CGC as the company and especially Ryan G. as the best Service person Ive seen lately.Frank Coutts.
Hartland Kinetico - We have a Kinetice Water Softner and Kinetico Reverse Osmosis System in our home. We use Kinetico Salt. Everything works great. We needed a new well pump and we followed the procedures after the installation to get our water system up and running. However after the installation , we thought our reverse osmosis system wasn’t working properly. I called Kinetico, Hartland and Chris was great he worked us into our very difficult schedule for a home call. I went to the office to purchase a new filter for our system prior to the service call to be certain that the water to the reverse osmosis system was not contaminated. I explained the symptoms to Jacob. He asked that I return with a water sample. I was worried- further bad news - additional expense, etc. The result was - the system is working properly and no further action required. My softener is about 20 years old (purchased by a previous owner) and I purchased the Reverse Osmosis System about 10 years ago. Jacob cancelled the appointment and I was assured that all water systems were running appropriately. Honesty, professional behavior and a caring attitude was what I experienced. I highly recommend Hartland Kinetico, Jacob and Chris were outstanding.
I have owned a Kinetico water system since I built the house 22 years ago. After realizing that I needed the unit to be tuned up and perhaps upgraded, the good folks at CGC sent Jeremy and Johnny out Friday. They were congenial, professional, and extremely helpful, making sure that the unit performed as intended. I was extremely pleased by them, as they went WAY above and beyond. I would, wholeheartedly recommend Jeremy Luchenbill to anyone seeking sound, intelligent, and informed advice about anything relating to their water system. This guy knows what hes talking about.

Recently purchased a Kinetico System from here and the whole process was excellent. From the salesman, Edd, to the installer, Jeremy, the staff is friendly, helpful and take the time to explain how it all works. We also got the Reverse Osmosis drinking water add-on and couldn’t be happier.
Very pleased with my entire experience with Kinetico CGC Water Treatment. Both Brandon our sales representative and Josh the installer were professional and courteous. I feel we got a good deal and were treated fairly. We had them add/install a SmartClear Air Induction Filter into our existing softener system. The plumbing was done top notch and best of all no more sulfur smell. All around good experience!
Great customer service! I had a post service request that I was fully expecting to get rejected and they honored it. Additionally my water quality is dramatically improved.

Both the salesman and the installer were professional and fun. Would recommend this company to anyone needing a water solution. I felt like they took their time to educate me and make recommendations that were specific to my needs. They accommodated some special requests when hooking up the new system to better allow me to take care of my outdoor animals. Really appreciate the attention to detail! Haven’t had an opportunity to test the water yet but I am confident that the results will be as promised and that I have a solid company backing my purchase.

When my water softener failed I looked into alternatives and decided to purchase the Kinetico water softener system/drinking water station. My water supply is a well with heavy iron content. The difference in taste with the new system is amazing, no more bottled water in our house! The CGC rep, Edd, totally explained the system and its benefits. Ryan, the installer was very professional and gave me a walk through of the actual process.
We have had our system in place about a week an a half.If you do not have this system, you need one.We are extremely happy with ours. The chlorine smell and taste was gone immediately so no more buying bottled water to cook with or drink. We especially like how handy the reverse osmosis water valve on the sink is.Our shower no longer smells like pool water.We want to tell Kinetico CGC “Thank You” for taking care of us and our water problems.Thank you to our installer Justin as well.
Have been a customer for about 20 yrs. In that time only recieved good service when purchasing new (very expensive) equipment!Their follow thru on service (filters & such) is pitiful at best. Kinetico is a good product, butCGC is not very good at follow thru!!
Kinetico did a great job. we needed quick service due to issue with my mother’s old filtration system and well pump. We contacted Kinetico and they came out same day and gave us a quote. We were able to get a new tank, pump, filtration system and triple osmosis system installed the next day. The gentalman that installed the system was really nice and professional. He was very respectful and clean. He made sure to therowly go over the different aspects of the new system with us. We used Kinetico in the past and chose to use them again and would highly recommend them to everyone.
Professional and friendly service from consultation to installation. The installer called when he was on his way, arrived promptly & prepared and even had booties on to keep my carpets clean (without being asked)! I had several questions for the installer & he answered all with confidence. He was a tidy worker and left everything the way he found it. I was pleased with the knowledge the installers had. Also Scott helped me get a great water system while saving me money by being able to use my water softener that was still good. I appreciate the honesty and not trying to sell you something you don’t need. I would definitely highly recommend this team.
I typically dont do this but in this case I will reply to Kenticos attempt to distort my original review:First they are correct their estimate was less than $9,000 - to be clear the original estimate was @ $9,650 but the sales guy then gave us the Special Price for a current special they were running the actual total came out to just around $8,500Next, the RO system this is also true but an IMPORTANT thing here, we ALREADY HAVE AN RO SYSTEM and our RO system is actually pretty good and we have been happy with it for years and were not looking to replace it, which of course is something we let them know, we brought Kinetico out for a quote on a water softener NOT an RO system but nonetheless they tried to bundle it in... I believe their RO system by itself was about @ $2,000 or so which meant that the remaining $6,500 was the for the water softener.To recap, they were professional but you will literally feel like you are at a used car dealership being sold... instead of just being direct and straightforward. This review situation is just an example of the experience. They were literally 3xs as much as anyone else no matter which way you slice it; with really no added benefit compared to everyone else. Again, thank you for being nice during the meetup but Kinetico is well overpriced compared to the competition and to be clear the competition (Beauchamps, Reynolds, Black) is actually better and just as professional if not more but dont take my word for it, you can certainly google it. Here is Kineticos reply to my original review if anyone is curious:Hi Reis, thanks for your feedback but I want to correct something. We did not quote you $9000 for a softener. The quote you were given was for a softener, an air induction system and the best reverse osmosis system on the market. Also, the quote was $1000 less than you stated. Additionally, Kinetico Systems are the unique in the market place with over 1.2 million units sold and a 95% satisfaction rate. Im sure the other companies you had out would love to be able to sell them but they cant. Not all softeners are the same and that is certainly the case here. We are happy that you are happy. For future reference, we do service all makes and models of softeners.

Brian Ignatowski Our sales guy was very polite and honest with us. He delivered on everything he’d promised. He maintained contact with us through the whole deal,answering our many questions. Justin came out and installed our new system, again Justin was polite and professional and very personable. Justin set us up, went through the start up, and left our house neat and clean. My parents had a Kinetico softener that lasted 30 years and didnt even require service until it was 25 years old! They inherited the system when they bought the house, but they absolutely loved it. I have had my system, which includes the k5 reverse osmosis, k60 softener & smart clear air induction filter for going on 5 years now and we absolutely LOVE IT! we could not be happier. excellent American MADE products and this company CARES. no honest person will tell you that everything always goes perfectly as planned, but this company goes the extra mile to make sure you know your water, know the best system and are 100% satisfied with it and they DO actually CARE! if you give them a chance, you will NOT be disappointed.

Moved into a new construction home and we were having problems with rust in our water. We purchased a SmartClear system and it has turned our water crystal clear. Serviceman was prompt for appointment, professional, friendly and answered every question I had. Would highly recommend their services. Great product!

Ryan was very pleasant and informative about our new iron filter equipment. He worked diligently and quickly and finished in the two hour time frame. He was concerned about a whistling sound in the outlet of the iron filter. The whistle went away by the next day. We are very satisfied with his workmanship.
Had RO system installed today. Service started this morning with a phone call to confirm the install and Scott followed up and arrived on time with all the necessary tools/equipment to complete the job today. Outstanding implementation by Scott with help from Kevin. Crossed every T and dotted every i to make sure the install went well which it did. We had a new water softener and reverse osmosis system installed today and I am super glad I called these guys! The installer, Travis, was very informative and pretty much answered any question I had. Very polite young man! The salesman, Edd, who came to my house to do the water test, man, what a hoot that guy is! Very polite, great sense of humor. Overall just a great man. Definitely not a PUSHY salesman!! Always great service. Several years ago, CGC installed a Kinetico softener and RO system and it has been great. Recently, we had a new well drilled and CGC installed an iron filter to handle the higher iron content. In two hours, Ryan installed the filter, cleaned up the workspace, and presented us with details on filter operation (pretty much no fuss). Will continue to use CGC for our water treatment needs.
Absolutely outstanding company! Though the products are a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. The home we purchased had a kinetico system already installed that had lasted over 30 years. We replaced it with an updated softener system, smart clear filter, and K5 RO system. Water tastes amazing and is clean as can be. Bottled water is not as pure as our RO water. the filters last a long time with this set up as well. With having the new system installed for a year we have not had to replace any filters yet and have only went through 6 bags of salt. We have two toddlers as well so you can imagine the laundry, and dish washing we do. We had a Rain Soft system in our old house that just ate through the salt. I definitely recommend this product and and have been more than happy with all the results. The employees were more than helpful and very accommodating. The installation turned out great and the installers ensured to clean up after themselves. In addition the gentleman who sold us the system stopped in to check up on the install and see if we were happy with the results. Very professional company and employees.
I have had my Kinetico softener and RO unit for 4 years without any issues. My hair and skin feel better than ever! I just called and spoke to Tammie to schedule a maintenance check. Travis arrived within the time specified. He was courteous and thorough as he explained our new water system. He worked steadily and maintained a clean and clear work space. Along the way he would ask for our preferences in placement of tanks and water tap. After the install, Brian explained the maintenance points to us and reviewed our paperwork with us....asking frequently if we had questions. Was wonderful day despite the drilling noise lol, Very happy to have chosen Kinetico to put in our water treatment. Travis was wonderful at explaining and answering all the questions we had, I would recommend him to anybody and everybody. Everything looks great works great and with minimal interruption to our day. We will now have safe water to use and I cant be happier about it.
We love our new reverse osmosis water and noticed a huge difference right away - we love the taste and how it performs and knowing it is healthy for us makes us drink even more which is great! Karen came out and did a great job explaining the new system and Travis did a super job installing it. Both were meticulous and thorough in all that they said and did!

Rene gave a good sales presentation about the product. He was quick to follow up on any questions I had after his visit. I purchased a water softener along with RO system from him. RO system works great but softner wasn’t removing iron in the water causing stains on appliances that I didn’t have with old system. Rene was almost impossible to get ahold of after the sale. He also promised to test the water after installation which wasn’t going to happen if I didn’t ask. Generally pathetic service after the sale happened. I had a separate company come out to inquire about installing an iron filter. They pointed out the salt Kinetico used in the original install isn’t good for iron removal. Used their recommended salt and the problem was resolved. Just overall very disappointed in the support after the sale was made from Kinetico. Product does work well overall outside of original iron issue. Travis was great for the install to be fair.
I recently had a twin canister water softener from Kinectico installed.Edd Fuller is my sales rep and Nate meek installed my systemI moved into my house 4 years ago and it didn’t have any softer system and I had a cheap all in one put in.I have 5 adults and two kids under 5 in my house. I was going through 3 bags of salt per week in my old system and I ran out of soft water by 9am!Now I’ve had the new Kinectico system and have only used 3 bags of salt in two months! What a difference and I always have soft water.Thanks go out to Edd and Nate. For their professionalism and ability to get system installed quickly and efficiently.Nate was very professional, clean, thorough and courteous.He was on time and answered all of my questions.He took extra effort making sure to cover his feet and dolley wheels as he made numerous trips in and out of the house.I’m very happy with my decision to have a Kinectico system installed.Peace of mind is important to me and my wife.Soft water was an issue here and now I can relax about water at the house.Thx again Kinectico

We purchased a top of the line system not based on price. We payed more for the Kinetico than comparable products. We had a Kinetico system in our house before with no problem so we bought another one, one notch better. The quality of the installation is good, clean, straight piping, well organized looking and cohesive installation. The system works well.I tried calling back 2 times and have sent two emails to try to see if we can tie two brine tanks together. No responses to any of the messages over a 4 week period. If someone asked me today to recommend them I could not based on a company that gets your money will not call you back. I wasnt impressed with any of my contact with kinetico to repair my reverse osmosis system that I had purchased from them. Years later after my purchase I needed a pump booster replaced on my system. So I made an appointment. The service tech showed up with no pump and actually didnt even check out the pump. He was too busy trying to sell me a new system. He was arrogant, unknowable about repairing my system and tried to charge me for a $69 dollar service call when he actually was more of a sales person. I would not recommend them to anyone.
All of the men who came to our home (Rene Quiroz, Ryan Gierada and Sam Sidebottom) were very knowledgeable and pleasant and did a superb job of diagnosing our water-softener problem and completing the repairs/replacement without incident. They cleaned-up after themselves, too! Thanks for such good, prompt service.
Not really a show room. A service counter and receptionist. Most of the facilities are warehouse. Today took in the top value of my 23 year old kinetico system and had the tech, Rene replace some worn out parts. Took only a few minutes and bench time was short. Friendly, helpful.

You get what you pay for & with CGC the best is what youll get! They back their products with full customer satisfaction, a ten year Warranty and great Customer Service! Had 2 technicians Brandon and Ryan come out to resolve issue with water softener. One diagnosed the problem and then the other one had to install new rust remover tank. Both were very informative and professional. I definitely would recommend Cgc kinetico.

When it came time to replace my water softener I had Clearwater systems out. I was expecting just to replace it with another one just like it. Then they explained how the Kinetico brand uses much less salt and no electricity is required. They also pointed out that my pressure tank was bad. Our system has been in for 3 years and I couldnt be happier.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had very high levels of arsenic in our water and Clearwater fixed us up with a great system to remove that and other contaminants. I would recommend them for any of your water needs.
My Tech Ryan was very patient and helpful. He walked me through step by step on changing the filter on my system and RO system. Highly recommend Kinetico to anyone looking to buy a water softener system.

Jacob and the rest of the staff were life savers! They helped me diagnose and solve the issues I was having with my filter. Water was spraying all over my kitchen and I was in pure panic mode (it was a Saturday and I couldn’t get ahold of a plumber). Jacob was sooooo patient and kind! He talked me through the entire process. I am forever grateful!
I signed up for an in home water test at Home Depot in Howell for our new house. We needed to purchase a H20 softner and as a previous owner of a Kinetico softner, I was already aware they are the best and longest lasting you can buy. Donny came out within a couple of days and found high Aresinac levels which is common in this part of the state. We purchased the new system and the reverse osmosis. I was installed 2 days later by Kevin who was so nice, professional and did a really nice job. They even threw in 10 bags of duracube salt. Couldnt be happier.

I had a few water concerns being on city water. The people at Kinetico Clearwater Group are friendly and very knowledgeable. They installed a dechlorinator to remove chlorine, a Kinetico softener for the hardness and a Kinetico drinking water system to remove all of the impurities in the water. I was extremely surprised that even though I have city water, they tested the TDS at over 800 ppm, I finally have peace of mind my family Is getting the good water we need.
The salesman, Edd, was honest and explained everything clearly. The installer, Ryan, was punctual, friendly, polite and did a fine installation. He clearly explained how to change the filters, too.

My negative experience with this place...they were trying to rip me off. I explained the leak problem to the manager and he told me that I might need a new softener. I went home and I dissembled the leaking part (piston valve) myself. I went back to Kinetico with the valve and they asked $115 for the new one which I ended up buying with $54 from Beauchamp Water Treatment just a mile away.

Amazing water systems, had a high amount of arsenic in our water and had other reverse osmosis in the home and were working but not taking the full amount out, got one there reverse osmosiss installed in our home and sense then we have had arsenic free water and 100 times better tasting water!!!

2022-02-14CGC installed my water Softener 5.5 years ago. I was having problems with the water constantly draining and never stopping so I had to call for Tech Repair. I called main number in Hartland and they scheduled me immediately. There were text messages confirming their arrival and even sent a picture of Justin the Tech that serviced the Softener. Justin diagnosed problem very swiftly and explained what was required in the repair. He was prompt, neat, courteous, but most of all very knowledgeable in his Tech profession. Would definitely use their services again!

I spoke with Amber who answered all of my questions and provided additional resources to help with maintenance of the reverse osmosis system that was recently installed in my home. The Kinetico system is worth the extra money and I’d recommend CGC to anyone in need of water treatment services.

2022-03-31Really disappointed. My wife had a gentleman to our home to check out the current system. The man supposedly tested water coming out of RO system (left zero results) however, there’s some fundamental issues. He did not check what the water tested coming into the home… nor did he check the water quality after the RO was fixed. This company wanted to right away replace ALL my units, both the softener and the iron filtration tank. Upon having several other companies come to my home to test the water quality both iron coming into the home from well and after existing the RO system there’s simply not a iron issue. The current system is working as it should and does not need to be replaced. The softener other than being old needed some salt and is also testing fine. It’s a shame places like this are out there doing this to homeowners. I don’t mind replacing any mechanical system but I do want to know it actually had to be replaced. I highly recommend getting quotes. This company also would NOT tell me the material cost or the labor cost on there nearly $6,000 estimate. He did indicate it would be a two hour job and said they can’t quote things that way. Joke!

2022-02-09UPDATE: Another great experience with CGC! I received communication that they added plumbing to their services. Chris and Ryan came out and fixed my faucets in our master bathroom that were needing some attention, installed a new garbage disposal, a new RO tap that matches our faucet better and ran a RO line to our new refrigerator. They guys did a great job, were knowledgeable and courteous. Grateful we have a company that we can trust with all our water/plumbing needs.We had Denise and Donny come to our home to have our water tested and decided we needed a softener and to do something about the quality of our drinking water. My daughter suffers from eczema and I suffer from seasonal psoriasis and I know water quality has an impact on both. Sam did an amazing job with the install! We have peace of mind knowing that our water quality will improve. Denise, Donny and Sam are very professional and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. 2018-08-24I was passed off to this dealer from the Yale Location due to franchise restrictions. I am glad I was. Got a better unit and a salesperson that was very helpful on the phone and was very knowledgeable. Everything was set up in a very professional manner and all by phone (which was great for me).The installation was done by Ryan G. and he did a FANTASTIC job. He was clean, organized and knew exactly what he was doing. I have the utmost respect for this young man as he was a true master of his trade. 2021-01-28I am very happy that I chose to go with CGC water for the installation of a new water system including a reverse osmosis faucet and the replacement of my water heater. My experience with the various CGC employees from start to finish has been nothing but professional, personable, prompt and responsive. Donny Fisher was helpful in educating me on the quality of my well water and selecting the appropriate system. In addition Anthony and Chris were friendly, accommodating of any questions and respectful of my house since it was a snowy day when they came for the installation of the water system and water heater. You can definitely tell that customer service is a huge priority for this company. The RO water tastes amazing, and I see no need to purchase bottle water going forward!

For the best, you need to chose this company and it’s products.We thought our original Kinetico system was really nice, and it gave us quality water for way longer than previous big name units we’ve had did. Same thing with both Kinetico drinking water systems at home and at our cottage.But the new updated system output, the installation process and experience, and the professionalism of their staff is crazy GOOD! 2019-11-05We had an incredible experience working with Kinetico and their team. We built a new house and are on a well so we wanted to ensure we had good clean water from day one. From our initial meeting with Edd to the clean and tidy install by Ryan our experience was outstanding. It was refreshing to work with a company that still holds true to values like professionalism, courtesy, respect, and punctuality. Even when the plumber our builder contracted removed a drain from the sump for the softener as it was “not his job” to put it through the cover, Kinetico came back and completed the work a second time with no complaints or expenses. With equipment made in the USA and an exceptional staff I can’t recommend them enough!
