Some of the best sandwiches Ive had. Sweet potato fries are not anything to Rave about and the fries are your generic hand-cut fries. Their sauces are all made in-house and are pretty good, including the ketchup. My only two complaints is that the prices are a little expensive and that the inside seating is extremely minimal. If I remember correctly there was only four tables and no public restroom.
I’ve been going here for around a year now, and have never been disappointed. Prices are on the pricier side for a sandwich, but portions make up for it. Their bread is freshly baked and they buy it every morning from a bakery down the street. Their fries are amazing - try the sweet potato ones with cinnamon butter ☺️. Menu is confusing at first but everything tastes good! Great tiny sandwich shop!
My coworker told me about the amazing sweet potato fries that come with cinnamon butter, so I checked it out. Not only were the sweet potato fries great with delicious cinnamon butter, but the sandwiches are also big and dreamy! I got a Reuben and my friend got the Highlander. Both amazing. This bistro is a hidden gem of Rochester Hills. I will be back to try every item on the menu. Chadd is actually there at the restaurant making food and taking orders. Couldnt get better.
We tried Chadd’s for the first time tonight for dinner and I have to say We absolutely loved it! We ordered the poutine and I gotta say it’s the closest thing to actual poutine from Canada. The sandwiches were a bit on the salty side but the amount of food you get from these sandwiches actually turned into two meals! Get a coke to wash down your meal and thank me later!
My fiancé and I found this place on Yelp and it has been a place that we have been wanting to try. Let me just start by saying that it was a fantastic first experience! There was a slight 5-1 minute wait but the owner acknowledged us and said he would be with us shortly. Once we ordered, it took maybe 5 or so minutes to get our food. I ordered 3 corned beef sliders with fries and bistro sauce. My fiancé ordered The Alyssa Avocado. Both sandwiches were delicious. All the sauces are made in house and they have quite a variety of sandwiches to choose from. My fiancé is vegetarian and having a sandwich shop that is vegetarian friendly is always a plus! I would classify this place a diamond in the rough. We will definitely be back for more! Kee up the great work!
Chads is a great lil hole in the wall sandwich shop for many years...they seriously need to expand!!!Seating hear is very limited, the staff here are very pleasant and clean. There is no alcoholic beverages sold here. Just love all of their sauces and soups. Ive ate almost every sandwich they sell. Think its the grilled homemade bread.
Had an interesting tip about this Sandwich Spot....it did not disappoint! Had a Cajun Steak with side of fries (hand cut btw) the sandwich altho tastey was missing jus an ounce or two of meat (the meat to bun ratio was a lil off), the steak was flavourful, cheesey and had this yummy blue cheese sauce that added that tang! Did I mention that they not only make all their sauces in house and that Chadd bought a bakery (in Rochester) to make all their artisanal breads for their sandwiches, did I? Ohhh those fries with homemade and very tastey catsup. I ordered a Pastrami Destroyer to go, here they really got the meat to bread ratio right, Hubby ate it all with a where did you get that? Its was good, got me full! Warning bring your apetite because these guys aint playin! The sandwiches are huge, they have Vegetarian options and small appetites option aka their sliders (see pictures below for menu options/choices). It was a pleasure meeting Chadds brother and his buisness partner, these guys keep the sandwiches coming at a steady pace (notice the Orange BIG piece of griddled cheese, they eat that as a quick snack , tasted like a gluten free cheese it). Thanks Fellas I will be coming back!
I got the chadds brunch with fries and the food was great. The bread is really what stood out, very high quality ingredients. I will be back soon despite it being very out of the way for me. The menu is huge, which can be a bit overwhelming. The staff is friendly. Good spot for a sandwich of you are nearby.
Small place with a few tables and bar stool seating too. Everything is cooked right in front of you and served hot. Sauces and bread are all homemade in house. Johnnyrev and I went for dinner and it was so good. I had a hard time choosing what to try. Ill be back to try something else!
Today was the second time Ive tried this place and I just dont get it. Ham and cheese sandwich was nearly tasteless, my sister had the same and agreed. I tried part of my Dads Reuben and it was better but still meh. The fries are so greasy and soggy we threw most of them away.
Good sandwiches however, I have gotten greased up soggy fries at times and the biggest downer is the attitude of some of the workers…it’s not service with a smile. Even a friend who has been there agreed that these guys can have some bad attitudes…unfortunately this is why I won’t go back.
If you haven’t tried this little gem of a gourmet diner, you need to get over there during lunch time, right before noon before the rush. Such an amazing selection, you get a nice big gourmet sandwich that will serve as two meals. They make all their bread fresh from scratch also! Auburn road is almost done with construction and this will have a nice little downtown look when done.
The food is delicious and they make their own ketchup that is the frosting on the cake. Found this place by just randomly searching for food on Google Maps and saw the rating and had to try it. I’ve already been back within two weeks. You definitely need to try this place out!
Honestly cant say enough about this place! For the past 5 years living walking distance from this hidden gem has been awesome! This is not your standard sandwich shop! They always use fresh local ingredients that raise their sandwiches far above the rest! If youve never been or trying to find a new place to try, I HIGHLY recommend Chadds!!!
Went today at 1pm-ish. The sweet potato fries seemed like they were cooked in cold, old oil, & not long enough. Fries were blackened, greasy, & raw in the middle. Took a couple of bites then threw it away. The best thing about the Cubano was the bread. Everything inside was sub-par. The pulled pork tasted…old. No idea why this place has great reviews. Maybe from people with no taste?
We ordered 3 sandwiches,2 orders of fries and a cup of beer cheese soup. My daughter took one bite of her pb&j and spit it out. I had a sub that reminded me of something you might get out of a party store. My wife took a few bites and chucked hers. The fries were..ok but the soup. I mean it tasted like the water from the slop bucket was used. The worst soup I ever had. I made my wife try it just so she would be grossed out too. All for over 60.00!!! My buddy swears by thus place and maybe I just caught them at a horrible time.
You wont find a sandwich place with a more exhaustive selection. Make sure to look up the menu ahead of time or youll hold up others as you struggle to decide which sandwich sounds best.Every sandwich Ive had over the last few years has been fantastic. Everything fresh made to order, you cant go wrong. Handcut free with homemade ketchup or bistro sauce are awesome too. Friendly staff always willing to help you make a decision to boot!
Sandwich was pretty good. As much bacon as it has, it wasnt super greasy. The homemade ketchup isnt amazing but I liked it better the more I ate it and really, I appreciate the effort of homemade. Special sauce was okay. Only complaint were the fries. They tasted fishy. Sort of beefy when warm but fishy later when cooled.
Amazing sandwiches!!! Moved back to the area and Made sure this was my first stop. Food is always perfect! Staff is friendly and they always make sure the customer is happy. I’ve never had a messed up order in over the 30 times I’ve ate here. I’m ashamed it took me this long to write the review. I appreciate it guys! Thank you for making delicious food! And treating your customers with top notch service.
Its an awsome place to stuff your face!!!The wife and I love this place. Amazing food good prices for what you get, plus they giys running the joint are nice to talk to. Huge variety of sandwiches 😋...Make sure to try them all. Seriously if you are looking for a great sanwich hot or cold this is the place! Im not sure sandwich does it justice... these are like over stuffed gems of amazing goodness that make it seem life will be ok...ok so i embellish a little.. Just try it. But bring your appetite as these are some serious eats in my opinion. 😃
Another five star review for Chads. I always get the Skinny John and it never fails to be delicious. The fries are awesome especially dipped in their homemade Bistro sauce or ketchup. If you live in the area and havent given this place a try you really should consider because although its just sandwiches and soup, the guys there are really great and obviously love what they do. It shows in the quality of product they serve. As a tip: bring cash if you can because they add a small surcharge to credit or debit card purchases (which for a small business is completely understandable as those surcharges can be quite expensive).
Ordered the Truth sandwich - pastrami, bacon, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard on grill rye. The description should be a little more accurate - 2 small pieces of pastrami, 2 small pieces of bacon, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard on grilled rye. The hand cut fries were good - when you actual found and bite into meat - the sandwich tasted good. Hint check your sandwich when you pay for it to make sure it is worth ,$10.49.
Went there to get lunch, supposed to be open at 11:00. Now mind you I see 2 guys standing there talking at the counter, one of them decides to unlock the door and tell me they are closed because they are short staffed. Again 2 guys standing there bs’ing. I guess chad looses another customer, for good.
So so good!!! People are nice too. Homemade ketchup and the house bistro sauce are fresh and tasty! Fries are yummy...get a big order. My favorite sandwich is the Skinny John! Eat there if you can...even though there is not a lot of seating. The sandwiches hot off the grill is part of the experience! There is not a ton of seating but I always get a seat everytime I go without fail. I would say you should expect to spend $15 per person unless you split a sandwich - which is possible - if you can agree on just one!
This place is the best. Always good sandwiches. Wanted to try the sweet potato fries since Ive heard great things about them. They were out of them at the moment, but I was offered that if I stayed for a bit I could have some. Having been pretty hungry I declined but thanked him and told him Id come back again for sure. When my order was up they still gave me some fries for free. And they were the best damn sweet potato fries Ive ever had. This place has phenomenal food and phenomenal hospitality. Super glad I live right around the corner.
Small dine in area, but very friendly staff. The sandwich was great (chicken breast hardcore sandwich) and the fries was great also. Their sauces even though are made in house, could be better, and if I were to recommend to offer Heinz ketchup as it is very difficult to recreate a good tasting ketchup. I do give them credit for trying and taking a chance. Id also recommend to rethink the menu, simplicity is best. Id try and come back to try it again
Finally. I feel like I am back in Grand Rapids. It is hard to find a unique place to eat around here. The sandwiches are great. Bring your own ketchup or you will be dipping really good fries in their strange version of ketchup which is ground tomato or puree, not too good. But like I said sandwiches are excellent. Had the Luke Beef today, and I feel like I have to eat here at least a couple times a week. Going in for the breakfast sandwich tomorrow.
Very impressive. Visited for the first time for lunch with my daughters. Great service, friendly staff, amazing food. We ordered Reuben sliders and poutine and split it. Huge portions. Quality ingredients and lots of love is put into each order. We will definitely be back!
Oh my God! Amazing sandwiches! Amazing fries even sweet potato fries! You really cant go wrong here, I always forget what I had last time so I basically get a new sandwich every time and havent been disappointed yet. The location is tight, there are about 3-4 barstools at the front and 3 tables squeezedin there. Definitely not a place to take a bigcrowd but they do carry out so its perfect.
My girlfriend found this place and we love it!! We get some sandwiches here at least once a week. They are hand made to order so call ahead if you dont want to wait 10-15 minutes during the busy times but honestly its worth the wait! Seating is limited but Ive never had trouble getting a seat. The combinations of ingredients with satisfy any sandwich connisoure! My favorite is the turkey pesto with the hardcore Joe coming in second. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed!! Average price for the sandwiches is about $8 but youll be full if you finish it, they dont skimp on meat or other ingredients! Staff is always friendly as well. Cant say enough good things about this place!!
Chadd’s menu is huge! I’ve tried a new sandwich every time I’ve been to Chadd’s, and I’ve never been disappointed. Big portions, fresh ingredients, and the hand cut fries with bistro sauce are amazing! I can’t wait to be back. Support your local businesses, like Chadd’s Bistro, during this tough time!
Best sandwiches in Michigan. I love the salmon sandwich with smoked Gouda. Another fave (from when I was vegetarian) is the grilled cheese with apples, carmelized onions and homemade jam- so exceptional. I usually go after a long bike ride when Im famished and eat my whole sandwich, but the portions are large enough that you could make 2 satisfactory meals out of 1 sandwich easily. My boyfriend, who is a very picky eater, loves the selection. He always gets the breakfast sandwich, no matter the time of day! This is a great place for people who love good food and no frills. I love chatting with the guys at the counter. I hope this place never changes.
Ordered said it should be about a 20 mins wait. 45 mins later received my food. Noticed several employees not wearing a mask. Ordered the poutine because its one of my favorite side dishes. I have never in my life tasted something so salty. It was like eating a salt block. Im afraid to even try the sandwich i also got. Tried the sandwic, it could use more meat for the price of $10.49. Read great reviews on this place, but a return trip, not happening. Overall a huge disappointment, bad service, salty poutine and sandwich on par with subway
One word? Damn. AmazingMore words?Phenomenal. Tasty. Delicious. Fresh. Homemade. This place is awesome on every level.Watching the guys work the grill and be attentive to customers at the same time is crazy. The homemade fries are delicious. The homemade ketchup. Delicious.Bistro sauce. Delicious.Their sandwiches are very well crafted. Not made. Crafted. The only bummer???? Took me too many years to try it for the first time!!
Awesome sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. You wont find a better grilled sandwich anywhere in the area. Make sure to get the fresh hand-cut fries with homemade bistro sauce. My go-to sandwich is the Hardcore Joe, spicy chicken sandwich on fresh made country white bread. Friendly staff, plan accordingly at the busy times, good sandwiches take time and care to make!
Chadds is awesome! Ill be sad when I move and its not only a mile away. My husbands favorite is the Reuben sandwich. The fries and bistro sauce are also so good. You usually have to wait 20ish minutes for your order but its worth it. I wish they didnt charge a service fee for using your credit card.
Its a great small sandwich shop with fair prices, a friendly staff, and delicious food. I saw it pop up on my phone as a suggestion multiple times, so my friend and I decided to try it. I had the buffalo chicken grilled sub and he had the capo minor sandwich. We both loved our meals, and the fries we shared came with homemade ketchup and bistro sauce both which were unique and very good. I plan on revisiting many times.
Deserving of a second trip. The sandwich I got was good. Great bread, great meats. I really wish they wouldnt have used iceberg lettuce. Just that one minor improvement would have made it a really good sandwich. Id say change the lettuce or just eliminate it. The fries were a bit on the soggy side. Good flavor but could have been better. I could do without the bistro sauce and house-made ketchup. They arent bad...but arent anything special. Overall I will be back to try other things without lettuce and will skip the fries. The large menu makes me feel like Ill find something I really like.
Update - I have probably had food here almost every other week for past couple of years. This place delivers amazing food consistently. Highly recommended.Old reviewMy favorite sandwich at this place is the Hardcore Joe, Im not a fan of wasabi, hence I swap the cusabi with fajita sauce. I like the fries and home made ketchup here. This place is hidden treasure in metro Detroit area. The staff is extremely friendly and will probably recognize you by your sandwich choice.
Chadds will always be the best place for a sandwich in Metro Detroit, if not Michigan. I always get the Chicken Bacon Ranch sub and usually either sub in either cajun chicken or their BBQ ranch. Always get a side of ketchup with their legendary fries. The ketchup is homemade and youll be asking for a bottle to go...I have...several times.
Great unique large sandwiches along with some long time favorites. They make lots of their condiments from scratch and they are delish! Great friendly staff with awesome advice on selections. Theyll remember u after 1 visit. French fries snd sweet potatoe fries exceptional especially with homemade ketchup . Try it...youll make it a regular stop.
Ive been here a few times now, and I always get something different. Its so good every time. Initially I thought the menu prices seemed high, but the portions are amazing. Everything is made right in front of you and its all fresh. Theyre usually playing more alternative music, which is nice.Ill continue coming back.Good food, good atmosphere. A large variety of freshly made food.
I saw the place has 5 stars in Yelp so went to have a try. But Both my wife and I were disappointed. the turkey sandwich was dry and no taste, onions soup was warm but not hot and small.the clubs was better taste than turkey sandwich, and is OK to me. Maybe we didnt order the right thing.
Small locally owned restaurant with a nice, warm, comfy diner feel. Been going to Chads bistro for years now, I really enjoy the hardcore Joe, that sandwich is one the best Ive ever had. ThyreTh hours do vary, sometimes I do feel like they close a little early, so be sure to check the hours. They also make their bread fresh daily.
Food is great. Lots of different options.. House made ketchup is great.. Fries a little soggy. Price a little steep.. Walk out with a combo and your going to pay $14 for yourself... Been there twice and both times were a great sandwich.. Ill be back, but if I went everyday, Id be broke.. lol :-)
I could say that this place has the best sandwiches in Metro Detroit or that everything I’ve had here is top-notch but that wouldn’t be enough. I wish there was a Chadd’s Bistro food truck that followed me around throughout daily life (or at least crossed my path every 4-5 hours, 3 times a day). The only problem I have is the anxiety I get when I need to choose one thing over all of the other amazing options.
Im not sure Ill be able to write enough about this place, because this small joint packs big flavor into all of their sandwiches!! When Im back in the Rochester area Ill definitely be coming back to this place. Chadd definitely knows how to put together a heck of a sandwich. Just about everything is home-made and thats when you know he cares about every detail of the food hes serving. I got the veggie ruben and it was by far the best veg sandwich ive ever had. The poutine is great! The homemade ketchup should be sold in stores! I cant wait to come back to this place, hopefully its sooner than later! Great work chadd! You set the bar incredibly high for sandwiches! Oh and the service is awesome too!
Overrated as far as I know.Been there twice.I guess I picked the wrong items.Italian sub was not what I expected. Bun seemed dry. Needed more lettuce and tomatoes and onion and peppers.Sweet potato fries were big and greasy and so limp. I will never go back. Small place inside.
This place is the best all they have like 60 incredible sandwiches loaded with flavor sides of all kinds... Its like an overload of options for sandwich and sub lovers who want homemade authentic flavors. I stumbled on this place on accident probably one of best days of my life. #foodie
The first time I tried this place. Had heard good things about it so was excited to order a corned beef sandwich on St Patricks Day. Figured would try to help the local restaurants with a carry out too. Order a reuben but VERY CLEARLY stated a reuben WITHOUT sauerkraut but with coleslaw. Chose to go there instead of Hamlin Pub. Picked up my sandwich and went home and bit into it..,,,spit it out immediately ...sauerkraut.... threw the damn sandwich away. I Cannot stand Sauerkraut. Well I gave them try but if they cant even get that right I’ m not going back
I love Chads bistro. Everything they make is homemade, right down to the peanut butter! You will not be disappointed. They have a menu with something on it for everyone. The only thing that keeps me from coming here more often is the smell - if you step inside the bistro, you are guaranteed to smell like it for the rest of the day.
Chadds is something else. A phenomenal stop for sandwiches of all kinds. Their menu may be intimidating, but thats because it is so full of glorious sandwiches. Their fires are also amazing. Not a lot a space to sit in the store. Always good and friendly service from the staff.
My husband and I live no where near Chadds but will find every reason to make a trip. We detoured 30 min today for it! The bread is awesome, the meats really well made, and all the toppings delicious. Dont pass this place up! The staff obviously cared about what they do too which is awesome!
Overall great experience, went here for lunch, the food is really good with generous portions. The place is rather small itself but the staff is very accommodating of larger groups. Staff was attentive and friendly, taking our order pretty quickly and asking how everything was.
The Pros. Very good food. Fresh bread, real meat, actual good food! The Cons. VERY SLOW. It is a small place, if you come at lunch time forget about it. It is also very outdated and smells as such. If you walked in and didnt know how good the food was you might leave.Overall, good food for a fair price. Not the cheapest but you cant expect that for what you get. I will continue to go back, just not at peak lunch time hours. A solid 4 stars.
This place is a neighborhood sandwich shop, plain and simple. If you stick around during a weekend lunch though, you will see community. The guys behind the counter interact with each customer as if they’ve known them for life. When I asked “do I pay now or after I eat?” The response was “enjoy your meal first, pay us what we earn”. Excellent place.
CJ was delightful, inspiring and the service gets an A+. Great food, great atmosphere, will definitely return.Never take a vacation from hydration.-some of the best advice you can get from the man on the grill. The handsome one is doing well, we expect great things from him at the sandwich creation station.
Excellent Food!! Awesome and super friendly staff! A previous reviewer said this place was slow. Chances are, when you walk in the door there are a couple people ahead of you. They also prepare your food in front of you. Its called joyful anticipation, and its well worth the short wait!!
I absolutely LOVE the food here and the staff is amazing! I was really excited when I saw you guys deliver because I am constantly hungry at my work and Chadds would hit the spot! However, I was really bummed when I called to order and found out there is a 3 mile limit for delivery. I work at Rochester and Avon rd, right on the corner; literally a half mile out of range... I tip good, too! Maybe extend the range to four miles or make an exception when someone isnt that far out of range?? I know a lot of people that are stuck staying at work on lunch around here that would love some Chadds on break! Also, maybe add the range of delivery to the website, too, so people know what to expect... Just a few tips to add some extra happy customers (although Im sure you guys have too many to count)! A straight 5 stars all the way around the board, though!! Life just isnt the same without that hard core joe man... I also recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch and their fries - your tastebuds will love you!!
I have been a customer since they opened. I love the food but the quality of service has seriously gone down hill. It seems they are more worried about dancing around and goofing off when they make they food than they are worried about getting orders right. Carry outs are ALWAYS messed up. Last time I ordered I repeated “no tomatoes” three times and when I got there there were still tomatoes on my salad. The guy cooking asked the girl at the counter to put gloves on and pick them out! That time he also FORGOT to cook the fish to go on that salad and it literally took longer to get my order than if I had walked in and ordered as opposed to calling ahead. This is even more frustrating considering I was grabbing lunch for work and NEEDED to be quick, hence I called it in ahead. We hadn’t been back in quite a while because it wasn’t the first time. This time my fiancé double checked and asked that the food was correct, he was assured it was. Wrong cheese on my salad. I have a food sensitivity and can only have dairy in but small quantities without being sick, and cheese is pretty much a no-go. It has to be goat cheese. He had to go back. Once again we are working and this is even more inconvenient. It is ridiculous. Also, on more than one occasion we have got there at opening, we can see them screwing around inside but no one cares that much to open on time. We have been let in 10-15 minutes late and employees are THERE. I think we are done.
Have driven by more times than I care to mention, plus weekly I get 2-3 coupons on the back of my Holiday market receipt . And finally the guys down the street at the Oil Change place, swore by it & gave me 2 coupons! So Wednesday the 19th, I planned ahead as I left Ninos & called in & ordered a FAT STEVERoast beef ,pastrami cheddar & provolone cheese, grilled onions, spicy mustard on grilled rye.Not being a fan of rye at all, I asked Chadd, can & substitute any other bread? He said we make & slice our own bread, you can have white or wheat or a sub bun, which I do NOT recommend for this sandwich. So I asked for the whole wheat sliced a little thin please.see you in 10 minutes Ron!I walked in, warmly greeted by Chadd, had my sandwich bagged & ready to go, $9 please, provided the coupon, $8 please.Shook his hand, the cook said hi & a local fellow said excellent is a starting point with his salads .This sandwich was truly a delight. as it had generous portions of both meats & both cheeses, and the onions were grilled to perfection at the point of beginning caramelizing!!And the bread, Oh The Bread, was hearty, fresh & grilled just as I had hoped.I had half for my lunch at 3:40pm & the rest for dinner at 8:30pmYes , one might consider $9 a tad bit high, HOWEVER, the high quality of preparation & ingredients trumps the price, plus why not go to the independent guy over JJ & Subway if possible.Plotting , planning my next visit & selectionPS: he offers hand cut fries & flamboyant salads..
TOO BAD PRETENTIOUS CHAD !• COLD restaurant , door opens and place is freezing for 5 minutes, but then the carry out leaves and it’s cold again, = COLD food in 3 minutes after served• Pretentious employees, seriously stop telling me about how great your homemade ketchup is.. it’s waaay too expensive .50 FOR KETCHUP? and it’s just clumpy and nasty• Doesn’t seem to me that the food was all as fresh and locally produced as I expected•Reuben was way too SMALL, and again TOO EXPENSIVE, DRINKS also too expensive.• employees seemed to be trained in HYPE, if you go there you will see what I meanSomething off about the food quality to $ ratio here, I’m obviously not impressed. Parking sucks as well. ☹️And remember! If this review helps you , please click the like 👍 symbol or share! 👍
Charges you 3% fee fr using debit card. I am pretty certain this is typically aganst merchant agreements and I am sure who ever their credit card terminal would like to be awareof this.$15 dollars for a sandwich. I would expect this at a sit down restaurant, but not a sandwich shop.
Sweet mother of all that is holy! Ive been looking for a place that is the equivalent of Detroit Ham and Corned Beef quality in Reubens (My num 1 choice). Ive tried Tooraloo (my num 2 choice) Detroit Deli and More ( Num 3 choice).I have just finished DEVOURING the Reuben from Chadds. My new ranking system. Chadds and Detroit Ham and corned beef, are tied. TIED!! I cant believe it, this has been a few years of trial and error (so many places, too many to list, upwards of 15+).The corned beef, the Swiss, the saurkraut, the Russian dressing, oh man that dressing is amazing! Every bite was exception and made me anticipate the next! So mouth watering and satisfying. My only complaint? Uh... I dont have another in front of my this very minute. This is great since Chadds is just down the street from me, and I dont have to go to Plymouth. The fries were alright, that ketchup though, damn thats good!Chadds, youll be getting more Reuben orders from me.Oh and the wife loved her Monte Cristo.
I have proudly eaten every single sandwich, salad, soup, side etc. And can say no other sandwich shop does it better. I am the only person to complete Chadds entire menu. I went searching around the USA on a 3 month road trip to find better and came up empty handed. I have met Chadd himself and am convinced that he is the reincarnation of Prometheus. The Elegance of every complimentary season, spice, and aspect of of these sandwiches must have been recipes stolen from the gods and shared with us unworthy humans. It is of common practice in asia to bow instead of shake hands when you meet someone, i would recomend this behavior to the humble Chadd for releaving us of the primitive food we have known no better but to eat.
O.m.g LOVE THIS PLACE.Might i add, the Hardcore Joe is the most amazingly satisifying spicy sandwich that i ever encountered. For those who are wondering its. White Chicken grilled in Cajun spices, grilled jalapenos, Muster cheese, on Country white bread, Topped in lettuce tomato and an amazingly delicious Wasabi ranch. if u like Sandwiches, and you like spicy chicken sanwhiches with not an overwhelming flavor try the Hardcore Joe. You wont regret it, unless of course you got server heart burn then you might want to bring some tums. But your taste buds will surely love you. :) love Chads. I try my best to get there atleast once a week. Also try the Chicken avacado sub. YUM!
I found a secret recipe from Chadds Bistro for their reuben sandwhich.Simply put: Take love and affection, friendship, the joys of self-actualization, and put it in between two pieces of homemade rye, (also with some corned beef n stuff) and feed it your customers.Thank you for making dreams come true Chadd. . .
Today I had an incredible experience, tip top service, the food I can’t put into words how delicious it was...I ordered the Tuna Melt...now I am thinking solid white albacore tuna salad kind of serving, cause that is what I make at home...this sandwich was put together with yellowfin tuna which by the way I have never eaten in my life! I was so so impressed, it was grilledto perfection, there were these soft flakey sweet chunks of fish, melted provolone, cheddar and Muenster cheeses which was gently placed between grilled wheat bread...new adventure for me, now I am a yellowfin tuna lover...the hand cut fries are to die for, perfect!!!!.....what a treat...had read about Chadd’s Bistro now for at least a year and had meant to visit this sandwich shop and I will be visiting this little busy restaurant often...and they have homemade lemonade and Faygo soda, Rock n Rye my favorite...thank you for a wonderful experience and introduction to yellowfin tuna and great service...10 stars for this Gem in the Rough!!!

2022-04-07This is an OMG moment. I tried this place for the 1st time and had a pastrami sandwich. It was the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had. They have many different sandwiches on the menu that cost about 12 to $14 you can get a side of French fries and a drink which is extra. This is a take out place.

2022-01-03I had a very good sandwich. Did not like their chicken soup at all. Dont know how fresh their ingredients are seeing everything was prepackaged. I will not go back mostly because of the price. I could have taken my family to a decent sit down restaurant for what it cost me for 3 sandwiches and a cup of soup.

2022-05-19Pricey, but worth the price. Top tier ingredients, freshness. Poutine was solid, mushroom steak really good. Only made one mistake and forgot my lettuce on the sub, stopped it from getting 5 stars. Soups are also solid. Recommend the horseradish sauce for the cheese steak.

2022-05-25Amazing food. But when they are forgot our sauce we ordered on side we went back up there to get it. And then they tried charging us 50 cents when they were the ones who forgot our sauce. Then went on to lie and say I never ordered it that way. And then still gave us a hard time over 1 side of sauce that came on my sandwich but I just wanted it on the side. Customer service was not ok at all.

2022-05-26HUGE variety of delicious sandwiches, awesome fresh fries, friendly staff, plus a great location on a slow/walkable street thats also just off a highway.I cannot overstate how incredible their sandwiches are — massive variety of meats, toppings, and seasonings, grilled, and big enough to be filling without being so big theyre wasteful.

2021-09-11This is a great place to get the best sandwich and a quick bite to eat that is both fresh and healthy. You also get a great group of individuals who love good food and good ingredients. If you want the worlds best sandwich make the trip. I drove an hour to check this amazing place out and they are worth the drive x2

2022-07-26This place was soo good! They are so friendly and the food was phenomenal! We even forgot to ask for extra sauce and they gave it to us anyways for free. It’s in a cute part of town and has a great feeling to it.
