A first-class resale shop in my opinion. The selection is great, the store is clean and staff is helpful and friendly. Prices are good as well and the proceeds support a good cause.

I love this place!!! Its the best resale shop in Boyne City. My Grandmother and I have been coming here for years, the prices are very reasonable plus they have everything you need!!! The women that work there are very friendly and helpful!!!!
Wonderful staff, good/ great prices, expected more stock this time of year but I got two great name brand bargains! Very clean and organized.
Found a really nice antique wash stand reasonably priced. Challenge Mountain is thrift store with I think good stuff, not junk.
As a resale shop.... very good. Great help and friendly people, but what makes a 5 star rating is helping the mentally challenged.
The staff at the Boyne City store are not really that friendly and the items are way over priced especially compared to the Petoskey store.
Rude, rude, rude! Used to shop here, but never again. Not enough time or space to recount my experience, but I will never go in this place again. Would have given 0 stars if it was an option.

2022-02-10Challenge mountain is the biggest rip off ever. They try and sell you trashy used Garbage for department store prices. I will never ever shop here again.! Everything they get is for free I donations and then they look up the item and take $10 off. Challenge mountain is the worst ever! Jeanette Erno😡🤬😡

2020-07-18The shopping experience here was very nice. The everything here was in really good quality and I would want to come again. PLEASE be mindful during this time as they will not let you in the store if you are not wearing a mask. Also, please be wary of donating and to look at more reviews before deciding to do so. That is all.

2019-09-12Everyone that works at this shop is extremely nice except the old short witch that has an attitude for no reason. I use to frequent this shop all the time but then this witch started working the counter. Im guessing shes the owner cause no one else acts like her! I wont be returning anymore and Ive spent a lot of money here.

2020-07-12I recently had my refrigerator die. Found one here and waited a week, when I had the $100 to buy a dented used refrigerator they put it on hold for me at 12:50 PM on Friday the10th at 9:15 AM Saturday the 11th they called me on my break. I just happen to work at BC McDonalds so walked over there. I was then told since I had no truck or access to one right away they couldnt sell or hold it for me, as they had someone who could buy then transport it right then. After I got out of work at 1 Saturday I went in to find it sitting in the same spot. This resale shop used to be a great community resource. I should know my Grandmother volunteered in the old location for 10 years. I know she is rolling over in her grave at how I was treated. It used to be ran to help people in our community but is now ran more like a REAL store rather then a resale shop. I will NEVER go back in there again!

2019-09-26I made a very generous furniture/antique donation. Among the furniture there were 2 Armoires. I was distracted on the day that the furniture was picked up and did not finish clearing out my good winterwear in one Armoire. It was moved without being cleared out. I went looking for my winter clothing and couldnt find it. I called and talked to Staci and she told me yes, very nice clothes they were in the Armoire. I asked for them back she said oh, we sold them already Well if you have ever made a donation there you will know they have a mound of bags of clothes in the back room higher than I am tall. No way that my good winter clothes would have been processed that quickly. So, out of this I learned a great deal about this organization. I will never donate again. I have been very generous over the past 2 years. I am now in the position of buying new winter clothes. I wasnt offered any money for my clothes and this unfortunate mistake. I was told What a nice donation on my winter clothes after I told her it was my actual clothes that I wear. A common courtesy would have been to make a phone call to me to ask if I had meant to donate my winter things when it was a furniture only pickup. That was not done, they had my phone number. There is no way in high heaven that those clothes would have been processed that quickly. So I made only one assumption on her statement. Not ethical nor honest.So if you mistakenly leave jewelry or something of great value they would not call you. I really abhor dishonesty.
