A well run marina in an absolute jewel of a town.The marina is relatively small with well maintained wooden docks. The dock cleats are properly sized and not too small. The marina staff has been well trained and they know how to accept and secure lines. They can tie a proper cleat hitch, something that is all too rare. The marina grounds are spectacular with a play fountain, wide sidewalks, spectacular views, perfectly landscaped and maintained lawn with beautiful trees accenting the lawn. Ducks live in the small pools that are fed by cascading water. There is a small open amphitheatre next door for outdoor concerts. There is a great grocery store within a short walk. There are probably a dozen or more restaurants/pubs/bars within a five minute walk. There are more boutiques and gift shops than I could easily count.This marina is as close to boating heaven as I have ever seen.
If you enjoy strolling around marinas and trendy downtown areas, this is a wonderful choice. Many cute shops, bars/restaurants, troubadours, walking areas, scenic views, an amphitheater, spectacular boats/yachts, a draw bridge...you get the picture. Another spectacular northern Michigan town!
This marina is at the tip of my list to revisit. Excellent staff, environment and equipment. Regular trash empty and routine of staff. Maybe the coffee could actually be put out on time, but so minor a point to mention.
Very beautiful little town! Had a farmers market going on which added to the quantness. Shops offer a wide array of goods.
Great city, beautiful marina to visit. We used the city loaner bikes and had a nice ride. Great people at harbor master office. One of the staff members let us use his personal bike since the amount of bikes were 1 short for our small group.

This is a great venue to sit and enjoy the boats coming and going while eating your favorite entree or dessert purchased from one of the many eateries.
Great place to stay. Very accommodating. Facilities are well put together. Everything you need is there or within walking distance.
Ran out of gas , called them to let them know we were on our way, they close at 7, we arrive at 6:30 & was told were closedIf there was a 0, is give them a 0 but I cant

This is straight out of a magazine. Its absolutely stunning. We were visiting from Oklahoma and we blown away at how beautiful it was here. The festival was perfect.

A gorgeous harbor with a great town. Although cant comment specifically about the marina.
The Venetian Festival was in full swing. July 24, 2019. When the main event started later on, the place was packed. People were dancing all over the amphitheater.
Lots to do around this whole area! Tons of little shops, restaurants, and things to do. Family and pet friendly area
I love this place in every season of the year, summer, spring, autumn or winter, it’s always a great place to take pictures or just relax with family. It has a great view of Charlevoix lake.
As usual love coming and hate to leave. Clean nicely detailed, all amenities needed.

Nice scenic view of the river and city. The boat rides are little busy. Make sure that you arrive early for a water ride to the Islands.

Beautiful very clean
Walk the street, do some window shopping, stop off at the Bridge brewery for a Cocktail. Watch the draw bridge go up and allow bigger boats, Beaver Island ferry come into the marina. Perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Our favorite stop! We love Patrick, Hal and staff — everyone is so helpful and friendly. Showers and laundry are very clean, always someone on hand to assist when needed. Very nice grocery store within walking distance as well as lots of restaurants, liquor store, and clothing stores. If you are fortunate enough to get a boat slip, you are fortunate enough 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩.

If you go during the week. Thursday they have a nice farmers market. You can stroll along the town sidewalk and watch the sun pop up in the marina, the view is picturesque and the farmers market makes it homey. This is one memory that you will always smile about and have a nice warm feeling as you walk into a Norman Rockwell painting.
Best kept secret town in northern Michigan. What a gem. Just spent the afternoon watching boats travel in and out of Charlevoix Lake which empties into Lake Michigan.A number of restaurants available as well plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the views.The draw bridge on the main street was a bonus to watch as the taller boats came and went.

Nice accommodations on one of the most beautiful lakes in the state of Michigan. Typically, you must reserve a slip 6 months in advance, but if you get in, you get great treatment and very nice, well-kept slips for your stay.

2021-07-30Everything in Charlevoix is beautiful! Well, except for the bridge that gets all backed up constantly when they have to let the boats through. They need to change the way they do that! Hire some engineers to develop a fix.

2021-09-05Beautiful marina. They also have a day dock so you can go into town for a while at no cost. The outdoor amphitheater is right near the day dock, and has public restrooms. This whole area is beautiful, with some rather serious money floating around! Well stay longer next time!

2021-07-01Beautiful at night, great place for kids they have a little fountain with music they can play in. They shower area and bathrooms inside the boaters areas arw clean. The staff are all super nice and helpful as well
