Simply awesome. Couldn’t find anyone locally to resole my mother’s favorite woolen shoes, so reached out to CSR after hearing their ad on the radio, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the whole experience! Responsive, nice, and very talented. The new soles are better than the original! I will gladly make the 45 minute trip again.
I heard about this place on the radio and Ill tell you what.....WELL WORTH THE TRIP FOR US!!! This place was awesome! Gentleman there was extremely helpful and very friendly. No question, we will be back there to buy all our riding and work boots. Sure they may cost more but they sold us on being helpful and personable! High quality place for sure! They deserve 10 stars!
Redwing sends there boots here to have them resoled, every time I get my boots back I have to send them out to the actual Redwing facility to have them resolved properly they dont do a very good job at boot resole getting really tired of waiting a week to get my boots back to wear them for one week and the sole is falling off youd think they would do better for $90

Old school business where they look you in the eye, tell it like it is, and will do everything they can to help. They have done several repairs for me and all have held up fantastically. They also have a great selection of new boots and since they are an independent store and not obligated to sell any particular brand they give the best opinions about what to buy and what to avoid.They also maintain good hours so you can actually get in there when you are off work and not have to take time off to see them. Been dealing with them for the last several years and every single employee Ive dealt with has been awesome!
Took a pair of shoes in for a custom job. Quoted me a fair price and I was able to do express service. Sew straps to the shoes, and fabric to the shoes. Got shoes back on time and was charged cheaper price than quoted. Will do business again. Thanks Travis👍🏾
Very happy with my visit today as I usually am. Today I purchased a new belt. All of the repairs Ive had in the past from them have been excellent within the limitations of the material theyre working with. The last pair of shoes I had fixed ended up too tight for me to wear because the leather was just worn out. They were perfect for my son though. Im very happy to have a business like this available to me locally.

My family has had our shoes, purses, zippers, baseball gloves, and leather work repaired here for years, even before the current owner. I have always been satisfied with the price and quality work done. Why throw something away when you can fix it - making it often better than new? At a fraction of the price of replacing. The owner and employees seem very committed to being involved in the community. Helping the boy scout fundraisers, giving away free bbq during town festivals, and being a part of community leadership groups. They make an active and successful effort to make Charlotte a better place. everyday. Thank you! Yall are very much appreciated.
This is the first time Ive been to this shop , but they can do the work I needed, and in talking with them, they were very knowledgeable ❗ And the price they quoted me for the work I want to have done, is very reasonable ❗ I would definitely be doing more business with them.

Such nice, helpful people! Got a heel pad for one shoe--in minutes it relieved the ache in my hip from a very long walk through the Presidio. For $13 (a bit pricey) I was able to continue the trek back home.

Very disappointed with my experience. I took a sandal in to have the broken strap repaired. They repaired it incorrectly (crossed straps that were never crossed). After the strap was fixed again it was looking like a 3 year old fixed it. When I took the mate to show what it should look like, the worker pulled that shoe apart. Four trips and I am left with a pair of shoes I cannot wear because they took too much of the strap off trying to fix their mistakes and I cant fit my foot into it. This was a pair of my favorite shoes. I was never offered a refund, replacement of my shoes, nor a sincere apology. Needless to say, I wont be back and neither will my circle of people.
Great value for the price. I had some work shoes resoled. The quality is outstanding.
I drove over an hour to get here. Arrived at 4:00 PM. Website, Facebook page and door says open until 6:00 PM. Closed. Wasted $20 in gas and 2 hours of my day. I will not be shopping here. Sad they cant update any of their information to keep their customers informed. This would have been my first purchase here but I will not be coming back.
Miller Shoe Repair send their shoes here to be repaired. Ive had two pairs of boots that required to have the heel replace. I received the shoes back with the heels repaired and looking BRAND NEW. These people perform nothing short of a miracle. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you for doing exceptional work!
Thandollar love this place because its living proof that we dont have to be a throwaway society. Ive been able to get comfortable boots and shoes repaired to get a few more years out of them! God bless the craftsman/cobbler in a small town, USA. Id rather invest my $$ in him and his apprentices than another pair of imported, made-to-fail footwear. Weve bought a couple of belts that are made to last because I was tired of the paper-thin bonded leather choices at other retailers. I look forward to going to CSR!😀
This place has been a life saver for me. From the zipper on my Harley coat to re soleing my danner boots. The owner was also very helpful in choosing my insoles.
Pretty much the nicest people in all of Charlotte. In addition, they take back Amazon returns!! And for a bonus... they have a super chill dog in there.

I have taken my boots there twice to have new soles put on. Each time the have done a wonderful job. I need to take my boots there again for new soles again. Definitely going to be back soon
Awesome store and great service! They repair about anything leather, clean boots and fit inserts plus an old time chair to sit in and get your shoes polished!
Charlotte Shoe & Leather Repair is one of those shoe stores where you dont need to be looking for anything in particular and youre not even sure what theyre going to have when you walk in...but you stroll out with a new pair of kicks every time. They have a great collection of classic sneakers, but they also carry more unique styles and colors.
They do very good work you dont find that type of service these days very nice people very nice fair price they sure seemed to do good business

Only been in there once, will never go back due to prices, only went in for a belt snap, ridiculous outrageous price, 15.00 dollars for one little snap down the road at an alterations shop 5.00 dollars, amazon , 5.77 for a 100 piece kit
Staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to fix a hat for me while I waited. Clerk suggested a local place to eat just across the street and it was good.
They have other leather related items other than shoes. Bought leather refinish from them. Was awesome!

2021-07-13They advertise sewing patches on leather vests and jackets, so I carefully laid out and taped where I wanted each patch to be stitched. They even took a picture and we discussed the job at length. But, when I picked up my vest, 2 of my 5 patches were not sewn on straight, one the edges were not sewn down (so patch flaps in the wind) 2 were not where I requested them to be placed and there is now a visible line of perforation holes where one patch was sewn then removed… of course in the most prominent place on the front! A complete waste of time, money and a brand new vest!

2021-12-08I have a type of tread that can only be resolded here. People are very friendly. Every time. Wish they were a bit closer & a better selection. Yet with their oder & try out, I guess who can argue. I suggest you get all your boot service done here

2021-08-21They had my boots for almost 2 weeks. Doing a re sole and some warranty work. Less than a week after I picked them up the new soles start peelimg off. I payed $90 for soles I have to repair myself. Definitely not going back.

2021-04-04They put new soles on my boots. I also took in a pair of moccasins, they pulled out the inside pad and replaced. Great quality work. I also want to take my husband back for a leather belt,they looked of great quality. Some work boots. Definitely a good store to check out.

2021-09-25I took my Fila tennis shoes there to be stretched. They did an amazing job. What a friendly place. They had an awesome display of mens and womans work shoes and boots too! I seen they repair leather purses too!!
