Great little brewery. They will also mix and match the beers for some differing flavors. About 8-10 beers available. Lots of outdoor seating. Fire pits outside. Dog friendly.We ended up ordering pizza in from a local place. They delivered right to the brewery.Cool truck out front too.
The Blood Orange Honey is the best. I drove across the state to enjoy this where it’s brewed 🍻

We had a great time at the Brewery! Personally, I am not a beer drinker but my friends really enjoyed the flights of samples before deciding on which actual beer to order. Great place to take a break and chat with friends. We were there on a Saturday evening and they had a singer who also played guitar/harmonica. Awesome evening!

I’m not sure what you you have done but I just bought 8 packs of the worst tasting beer since blue moon also changed their recipe. This no longer is my favorite beer. It doesn’t even taste like blueberries anymore. So disappointed that you had such a good thing and now it’s ruined. If you could go back to the original recipe you might be able to save your company but anyone who has been loving this beer will also be disappointed.
Excellent tasting room with friendly staff offering very good cold beer with coasters. Highly recommend stopping by for a beer and partake of quality merchandise.
The beer was good but the staff weren’t very friendly and the service wasn’t great. The atmosphere was kind of unwelcoming so would recommend going to another place if you’d like to stay for a few drinks.
Finally checked out the home of my favorite beer! Nice little place with a very attentive staff.

Great place to mingle on a Saturday afternoon. Beautiful view from the rooftop. Octoberfest beer was great.
Came here a couple years ago just after they opened and finally got a chance to come back this summer. The beer and atmosphere are great, with a nice patio to sit on and enjoy a beer or two in beautiful northern Michigan weather. The history of the original Cheboygan Brewery is pretty cool too.
Watch out for winter hours, beers are ok! Its a cool atmosphere during the summer!
Good beer, great outdoor area
Staff were personable. Beers were delicious (had our favorite brews on tap— Lighthouse Amber and Blood Orange Honey). A must stop if you’re in the area and like craft beer (plus their zip up hoodies are really soft and reasonably priced).
Very disappointed they have such a great patio but wont allow dogs even outside of the fence. Lost a very expensive customer so we went nextdoor to the High North Mead & Cider that was happy to have our dog friendly family
Great beer, I was told they like dogs, but dogs are not allowed even on the outside patio, exception service dogs.
The blood orange honey is everything that others have said but the Yuzu is out of this world. Some really great beer being brewed here.

So many great beers! The atmosphere is awesome because there are no TVs to inhibit conversation. Super Clean, and tours available so you can see how the magic happens. A Northern Michigan gem.

Its not a bar its a tap room. I can bring my kids here and dinner. This is a food friendly place. The beer on tap is amazing. Try the blood orange and blueberry mixed. Amazing summer time drink.
Im not a bar person, but this is my favorite. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and my wife said the beer was great. Anyone up for a good drink, this is a must.

Enjoyed a couple blood orange ales and used the free WiFi while waiting for the ferry. You can have food delivered, otherwise its just beer and popcorn. Outside seating and dog friendly.

The Blood Orange Honey is the best beer I have ever tasted. I was expecting it to be awful. I was surprised how good it was! I have had many craft brews around the world and this Brewery is one of the BEST! Its Northern Michigans best kept secret!

So they say they are dog friendly (which is the entire reason we drove 20 minutes out of our way to have a beer while traveling with our dog)...but when my husband inquired where to sit with the dog was curtly told by the bartendress “You need to sit in the grass”.Alrighty. The grass is outside their fenced patio and has no chairs. Ok we had a towel and a small folding stool so got ourselves and the dog comfy in the grass. Inside hubby ordered 2 pints and got some popcorn, and the same woman offered me a plastic chair when she saw I was sitting in the grass.Just as we started to drink an older man came out to say “You know you’re breaking the law?”....ummm who are you and WTF exactly??? Your staff told us to sit here and even gave us a chair. He just kept saying “gotta be inside the fence with the beer”. There is no food service so why the dog couldn’t be on the patio no one could explain.Husband said “Go ahead and call the cops then”. Dude walked back inside.Definitely a one and done situation. The Blood Orange beer was tasty and so was the popcorn. The Alt Bier was flat and not much flavor so it would have been one and done situation anyway, even without the incredibly rude staff/owner/manager whoever the heck he was.Be dog friendly or don’t, put up a damn sign so people know what to do. Don’t be rude to your customers and make them feel stupid for trying to patronize your brewery 😡

Linda and I are the owners of the Monarch Motel we have been going to the Cheboygan Brewery now for the past year and enjoy it very much, they have the best tasting beer and the atmosphere is wonderful.
$14 growler refills and $6 pints. I wouldnt return here if the beer was free. CB is the only thing in this town and its not even that good. Continue on to Mackinaw and go to Paddle Hard Brewery.

2022-06-12Cheboygan Brewing Company is a great place to get meet friends, listen to music and drink brewed German beer from ales, stouts, porters, IPA’s to merchandise. This ale house has been updated to a modern look and feel since the original brewery from 1872. This ale house is situated on the Main Street through Cheboygan and offers outdoor seating. Come check it out as you won’t be disappointed!

2022-02-27While the winter may not be the best time to visit, as you miss out on the outdoor patio and roof deck seating, it is a more intimate and cozy experience sitting inside and talking with the staff and everyone else who are there to enjoy some great beer!If you are looking for a ton of beer selections, this may not be your place, but if you are looking for some excellent beer, Cheboygan Brewing is your place. All of their selections are very good, but the Blood Orange Honey Ale is outstanding. I am more a dark beer fan though and their CBco porter was my favorite selection. I was there on Flight Thursday getting four samples for $10.The staff was very friendly and helpful, more than willing to talk beer or anything else. The building was very clean and located in a great spot. I would imagine during the busy summer tourist season, nearby parking may be an issue though. I am also guessing Cheboygan Brewing Company would be very busy, especially on the weekends.I highly recommend CBco! Great beer, great atmosphere, great people! Thanks Cheboygan Brewing Company!

2021-10-02A really nice venue with rooftop, patio and inside seating. The gas fire pit on the patio is nice. The beer is really good with selections that should satisfy all needs. Free popcorn and you can bring food in. A very nice stop.

2021-09-11Ordered togo beer online and it went terrible. The order did not go through, we were charged, and the beer we ordered was not even available.The service was amazing! They made it all right and offered several solutions. We love when places know how to fix issues in a way that makes customers happy.The beer they have is also awesome! Five stars earned.

2022-06-20Our group was here on a Friday night in June when they had Abigail S singing live on the patio. The place had great vibe. Many flavors of beer on tap. I had the new cashmere flavor. Excellent popcorn. Had some foods delivered to the patio and everyone enjoyed the beers and the evening.

2022-03-15The bartenders were amazing and the beer was pretty good. Ill have to check it out again when the weather is nicer and the outdoor area is open. It could have better signs out front, drove right past it going through town.

2018-08-05Nice place with out door seating on main floor and an upper deck. Not a large selection of beers, but wheat they have is real good. Only down side is there is no restaurant there, but they are food friendly so you can bring food from other businesses.
