Comment: Without a doubt a 5-star experience and a 5-star family-owned business! My group rented a Can-Am Commander out of Cohasset and spent a day in the Ishi Wilderness. The shop operates rain or shine, and we had lucked out on a clear day following a storm. We had a blast ripping through mud puddles and dustless trails. The rentals are turnkey and the shop will make sure youre set with the essentials: helmets, GPS, straps, etc. You cannot beat the value here given their daily rates are as much as what youd pay for a few hours at a place like Pismo, but with 100x better service as the folks at Chico are exceptionally helpful through the entire pre-booking to trip-end. We cant wait to come back and explore more of the trails. 6-7 hours spent out in the forest and we barely made a dent on the GPS. Big thanks to Ben, Carrie, and Dave for hosting us!

Comment: We rented 4 machines total and rode directly from their Cohasset location. The machines were in great shape and the scenery was fantastic. Put 60 miles on them riding in the Ishi wilderness. Great family adventure.

Comment: Easily a 5 star 7 days a week service department. Never a waiting list or were two weeks out it’s bring it to me and will work you in. Ben is very thorough and you actually get a phone call with an update. Thank for keeping my can-am going and running a great professional shop.

Comment: Yesterday 5/5/23 was a great experience with my son we went out and rent one of these monsters for his 19 birthday, great experience since we make that phone call to reserve a side-by-side for two they took the time to give us the proper helmets, they explain everything so well. we definitely coming backthank you guys.

Comment: Had a fantastic time on the trails in a Can-Am UTV from Chico OffRoad Rentals! We traveled through the Ishi Wilderness, made our way down to Deer Creek, enjoying the spectacular views of the gorgeous area. Highly recommend this company! No other way to travel!

Comment: Rented a side by side and trailer for the week. Was a nice set up thay was easy to use. The rig was solid and contained all kinds of good stuff from nav to tire repair kit( which was a nice one and we used on the trailer.) Would definitely recommend them to anyone

Comment: We rented the 4-seater RZR for an overnight camping trip up in the Lassen NF. All online reservation system and waivers so we were in the rig and on the road in 15 minutes. The RZR was more than capable in getting us to the Mill Creek area - even with the back seat loaded with camping gear. There was plenty of fuel to explore the forest roads beyond Cohasset. I would highly recommend to others, and we already planning our next trip.

Comment: Great experience! We had never driven off road vehicles and they showed us how to drive them, provided an iPad on the vehicle with gps to navigate the trail and offered some suggested places to stop along to trail to see some great views. We also were able to rent helmets from them with the vehicle and they had a box on the back so we could bring a cooler with drinks and any other things I we wanted to keep safe. Would absolutely rent from them again!

Comment: 6 stars. So much fun.What a professional outfitter. We managed to break one of their machines about 60 miles into the wilderness on a Saturday night and not only did they immediately dispatch a recovery crew with parts but they kindly brought us replacement beer after one of our coolers dumped. The mechanics were working well into the night, in heavy rain. When the repairs got a little too tricky they decided to just bring us a replacement razor in the morning. By the time our tents were down we were ready to roll again.Thanks again for going the extra mile guys, literally.

Comment: This was my first time riding/driving a UTV and it was really fun. Easy to pickup as you can go at your own pace. The lake trail had a combination of smooth/open and rough/rocky terrain. The views were gorgeous! Bring plenty of water and snacks.

Comment: Sooo much fun!! The turbo RZR is an amazing machine. The set trail from the rental spot has something for everyone, smooth fast sections, fun mud puddles, rough rock crawl like spots, and steep narrow canyon roads. Look forward to doing it again.

Comment: Big THANK YOU to Chico Offroad Rentals. One of my closest friends set up this guys weekend trip which included golfing, dinners, time spent together with 5 guys and this Offroad thing. The initial thought was well ok I guess. What an adventure. I highly recommend putting your normal everyday life things aside and take time out of your week and go visit Ben. Him and his staff are amazing friendly and so helpful. The equipment is in great shape, even though they take a beating. Lol. Again thanks so much. We’ll be returning again with more friends.

Comment: What an incredible experience! We rented the Polaris RZR and spent about 4 hours on the trail. The Talon was in great condition and you could tell it was well-maintained. The company did an excellent job explaining all of the operations, features, and safety items we needed to be aware of prior to our trip. Comment: We attended a group ride that was coordinated by Chico and their team, we went through the rubicon in a few days, stopping at a few lakes on the way and camping each night. We had an absolutely amazing time, they know what their doing, are excellent when it comes to unexpected mechanical issues or helping spot new drivers to assist in overcoming obstacles and just having good ol clean fun! I highly recommend them!

Comment: Its about time northern California has a reputable company that has utv rentals. The owner is very knowledgeable about anything pertaining to utv/ side by side experience. With top of the line equipment and trail knowledge including dune riding, chico off-road rentals is A+ rating. If you are inexperience in off road and not sure if its your thing, why spend 25k on a rig. Id recommend checking out chico off-road rentals first

Comment: Great choice! We needed a 2nd ride so we could take our grandchildren. They were very professional and gave us So much information on the ride we were going to be taking. We didnt have helmets for the littles but that wasnt a problem. We easily rented them instead of purchasing them. It was a quick and easy process. On top of it all, it was worth every Penny for the enjoyment and family bonding time we got with them. I would recommend the for any of your needs. Looking forward to them having their RV rentals!
