My kids have been going to Childtime for about 6 months now and I have really seen a positive change in both of them. They are more engaged and my son especially has made huge strides in his learning. Just recently they added an app called PreciousStatus that I LOVE! I just got a picture of my son working on his numbers and what they were doing in music class. My daughter is in 1st grade so only attends Childtime before and afterschool and I am kinda bumming that I dont get to see her day like I do my sons. The staff here is friendly and knows all the children inside and out! The extra touchs that the staff and Director of this particular school ( Center) do set it apart from the others!
Our 5 year old son attended this ChildTime location from the time he was 4 months old. And he gave them a run for their money, believe me! He is currently in Young 5s, all day 5 days a week. He will definitely return in the summer for the camp they offer! I remember from day one we felt like family. When our second son came along, even though we really dont need daycare, I would be extremely sad not to be part of the ChildTime family. So he goes once a week just so I can see everyone! Our all time favorites are Jeanette, Shelby and Ms. Becky :) However, the entire staff treats my children as if they were their own!
HORRIBLE!! My son (2 y/o) went here and on the 1st day i got a phone call to pick him up early because he wouldnt stop crying and screaming during nap time, (when my son doesnt take naps and gets pick up during, was supposed to be able to play quietly and never was allowed to). after that about 1 month in the Tuesday schedule for naps changed so he had to be with a different class and teacher. when I went to pick him up the class was empty and only after a few mins did someone tell me the class schedule changed. when I walked in a teacher named (()) came straight to me and said; HES OVER THERE IN THE CORNER, HE JUST NOW FELL ASLEEP! I said thats weird for him to sleep because hes not supposed to. so i walked over and he was put in the very back corner behind a wall by himself and sleeping on a cot with no blanket or anything. when i woke him he jumped up and grabbed he shaking and wouldnt let go of me.when we left he said to me that his hair hurt numerous times. i asked him why and he said because she pulled my hair. when i said who did he said i dont know her name i said a girl in your class did and he said no mommy the teacher did. he said; she got mad at me and grabbed my hair and pulled it really hard and said LAY DOWN NOW! he pointed to the same spot in his head every time he said it. so i called the director, jeanette, she told me she would investigate it. well at that time my son kept saying it and said how bad it hurt and he was scared. he told me that he was crying really hard. (my son is very very verbal and speaks very well)so i decided to go in and let him tell them. they asked him for the teachers name and he didnt know he personally because it was a new teacher to him. the only other person in the room with the teacher (when there should of been more teachers BY LAW) was a student from mcc and when she walked passed we asked him if that was her and he clearly said no its the other one that was there. jeanette then told me that the teacher has been there for years and that she has sent her own kids there with that teacher and they loved her and that she has a son getting married she just doesnt see this happening with her and that she would call me once she is done investigating and that she was going to report it to the state and her online site along with her boss.i finally got a call back hours later and she then told me that the teacher maybe got his hair pulled from her wedding ring putting the blanket over him (very small blanket why is it being pulled over his head!!??). he had curly hair about 2 1/2 inches long so enough to get pulled so even if its been snagged on a ring she and he would of noticed. i told her i wanted the state to be involved and her boss and she seemed like she was trying to sweep it under the rug saying things like oh it was a mistake though and things like this never happen hes not going to be with her that much and we can switch his days. she also refused to tell me the teachers name and it literally took me to keep pushing and asking for 15 mins until she finally gave me the correct teachers name & that was after she told me 2 other teachers name. Her boss called me that night asking what had happened and when i told her she was appalled said that jeanette didnt report it on time and that our stories were not matching. when i told her that i have videos of him saying what happened she stated that she was going to investigate the teacher and director and report the correct story to the state of michigan. the next day the case working (Shelly Napels) called me and asked for my side of the story. when i told her what happened she informed me that jeanette did NOT report the same story that her story was that a child made claims that his hair got pulled and wasnt able to be verbal about who did it or if it was another child or a teacher and if it was an accident or not and couldnt speak well and was given the chance to identify the teacher & couldnt. she said she was going to go straight there that week and they would be getting a violation. months later nothing done

2021-12-17The teachers are not trained properly to deal with behaviors. If your child is perfect, then this place is for you. If your child has some behaviors or big emotions, then go elsewhere. My sister was called to come pick up her child because she wouldn’t nap at rest time. A child her age (3 years old), is not required by licensing to sleep at nap. They are required to have a rest time on their cot for an hour and then if they still do not sleep, they are offered a quiet activity, while others nap. For the fact that they cannot handle a child not sleeping, or providing care to a child that doesn’t nap is quite astounding. Seems like they struggle to handle anything that isn’t “normal” to them.

2019-03-27I absolutely LOVE it here! My daughter has been attending since she was 9 weeks old. Jeanette is beyond amazing. She goes over and beyond for her staff and for each student. I love love the staff: Kelly K, Elaine, honestly they are ALL so amazing. My daughter is thriving and learning so so much. She’s now 9 months but doing things (according to her pediatrician) as a 12 month old! They are absolutely wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend. They also offer two apps, one you get notifications about each time they are changed, fed, napping and more! The other app, I can watch my daughter live! It’s honestly amazing here.

2017-01-20I have been taking my son here since he was 3 months old. I have so much good things to say about this place from the friendly teachers and directors, to what they are teaching my son everyday, how clean it is, their safety practice is top notch, to the activities they do with the kids. My son is always excited to see his teachers every morning and I feel really good about him being there. Honestly if I were to move, it would be hard for me to leave this daycare. I love this place.

2018-02-125 Star rating absolutely. Childtime as a corporation seems to be extremely well educated in early childhood development and very organized. They seem to do a fabulous job at training their staff as well. The directors, teachers and all of the care givers that weve met there in the over three years that our son has been here are superior to the other two well known daycares that we used with our older children.Super friendly, loving and nurturing staff! And the menu is very healthy and well thought out. Very clean.I highly recommend.

2015-09-11My two boys (ages 3 &5) have been in Child Time for a few months now. I can not say enough amazing things about the staff and enviroment. The boys love it there - the activities and curriculum are amazing. Its one of the cleanest centers I have been to. I love getting daily updates via email about the boys with pics! It has a great balance of fun and structure. Meals being served also a plus!! The teachers are great as well as the staff who prepare the meals. My oldest was only there for a month before starting kindergarten. What an amazing change in him , compared to how he was at his old center. Their old center was chaos and teachers were miserable daily. My boys now showed interest in learning and wanting to have structure thruout their day. I feel the kids here are challenged daily and have a blast. I am so happy we found them and my mind is at ease leaving my 3 year old here. He is actually happy going to preschool.

2013-11-16All of my kids have been at this Childtime at one point or another and we have always had the best experiences! The directors and teachers are absolutely wonderful. My daughter truly enjoys going to school and she comes home everyday wanting to share something that she has learned! I leave her knowing she is in good hands and I have no worries. They provide a good balance of a nurturing and learning environment!

2019-02-15We switched our infant from a nearby daycare due to safety concerns and could not be happier with the switch! The infant and toddler rooms are very clean and the teachers are amazing! Jeanette, the Director is very friendly, helpful and kind. So glad we have our son at this location!

2014-04-04My son has been attending Childtime in Macomb for nearly two years (since he was 3 months old), and we couldnt be happier. They have art projects daily. There are always fun and educational activities to keep the kids stimulated. Its nice knowing that our child is in great care, and we have no worries while were away. The school is kept very clean and organized. We recieve very descriptive write-ups in his daily sheets explaining all of the activities they did, what he enjoyed the most, songs they sang, what he ate most of, or didnt eat much of, etc. The directors and all of the teachers are wonderful. We highly recommend this school!

2016-05-17I was a teacher there before I transferred to North Carolina, but if I did not get married, I would still be there. The place is clean, organized, and structured. The teachers and management do an absolutely fantastic job at working with the children and families to fit their needs. The director and assistant director are both awesome people who will do whatever they can to answer or find an answer for you. The teachers are loving and caring. By far, the best teachers yet. The curriculums are structured for the right age children to challenge them as much as possible. The recent updates on the school makes it a PLUS! No wonder they are one of the few Model schools under LCG across the nation. I am proud to have been part of this school. Best memory ever!

2016-02-03This is an excellent Daycare/School. I have a school aged child and a toddler who attends Childtime and they enjoy their time there. The day is structured and communications between teacher and parent is excellent! I receive status updates throughout the day letting me know how my kids are doing, what my kids are doing and even pictures of them. My children are currently at the Macomb location but I have used other locations as well and they have all been excellent!
