Awful! Was waiting, they never sent a text saying our table was ready! Brought out our food and only bought out half of our food and when we was about to leave they brought out our other dishes we ordered!! Only reason one star is because of the waiter that gave us a percentage off our bill! The food gave me food poisoning I had to go to emergency and they confirmed it I would not recommend anyone at all to go to this place!!
Walked in, no greeter, sat ourselves. Server came and wiped table. Took drink order. Asked for a menu and mentioned I was in a bit of a rush....she replied food is not coming out fast. There were very few customers. We got up and left. She was not courteous at all. Will not go back!
Great atmosphere. I was immediately greeted by the host and sat within 3 minutes. It took a minute for my server, Koron, to come greet me but once he arrived I got great service. They updated their chili recipe and added tortilla chips for extra texture which was nice. They have a new margarita of the month which I got crown apple crisp margarita which is very flavorful. The perfect combination of sweet and sour. Also ordered the big mouth bites and a cheeseburger. It completed the 3 for $10 deal which is nice and affordable. The burger was cooked through and nicely seasoned. The fries came out bland and needed seasoning which I seasoned myself afterwards. Food came out nice and hot. Decor has a cheerful feel to it. Bill fit for the amount of food u received. Manager on staff was friendly.
We actually ate here last night. My kids always want to go here. The food was very good. Daughters steak was cooked to a perfect medium. Youngest had the chicken pasta and broccoli and ate every bite. Husband had steak and shrimp fajitas and loved them (huge portion). I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. My daughter that had the steak and I split the 2 for $25 deal. We also had fried pickles with ranch and the whole family loves those! For dessert we were going to choose the skillet cookie but they were out of cookies so they gave us the molten chocolate cake instead. Delish! The only reason I cant give this a full 5 stars is the service is definitely lacking. The waitress kept asking if we needed things and then literally would run from the table without listening to the answers. Then not come back. My husband was almost finished with his meal by the time he got his lime and guacamole. We come here alot and it seems every time I am more and more disappointed in the customer service.
This location is on top of it. I ordered the brisket quesadilla it was so dam good. I also order my alexs santa fe burger it is so so so dam good. The burgers here are always on point and so thick and juicy. Orlando is super friendly and does and amazing job he deserves a bonus hes always been super amazing to us. Thank you so much and stay safe. Perfection.......
Went to this location yesterday around 6:30pm, it was 2 adults and 3 kids.. we were advised that the server is not serving no more than 4ppl and that we had to leave and eat somewhere else. No biggie, I wanted Bahama Breeze anyway lol BUT THIS IS A SAD BUSINESS, I use to be in food management. YOU NEVER TURN DOWN CUSTOMERS, the business shouldn’t be open if you can’t manage a large group. NOT TO MENTION IT WAS EMPTY!!!!!!!Sad part is we were going to go to Ford location, idk why we tried this location lol haven’t been to this one in years.
Worst experience ever. The Host and management care nothing about the guests only care about seeding you in an exceeding arrangement that work with their waitstaff. Told us we would have to go wait for a table because theyd have to sit someone at the waitresses station that was waiting for a customer before we can sit in another wait staff persons area.
I had a decent experience at this place. Here at the livonia location the staff is minimal, so even if it seems dead, youll still need to wait about a half hour or so. I had a Cesar salad which was alright, and then a side of fries. I will say the fries arent my favorite (if I had a preference). And I hear decent things about their burgers which is what my father got tonight. I will say though, even through the long wait for our food, the server was nice and polite. To give a example, there was maybe seven or eight families in the whole place eating (families or couples) and it still took a half hour wait. I guess its just the times were in right now with the shortages or workers and labor. But as long as you can put up with that, its decent. Not my favorite destination for a dinner, but decent.
As a server I’m usually not one to complain at all but, I ordered to-go on doordash. I arrived at the designated time on my doordash and pulled into the parking space for the curbside to-go, I waited about 20 minutes before going inside (I was the only person in the car side to go when I pulled in, there was 4 more cars that pulled in after me and were waiting for service). Once I got inside I realized they’re not even busy. There was a server at the desk when you walk in the to-go entrance. She asked for my name and I gave it to her. She printed off a couple tickets and went into the kitchen. When she came back she told me the girl back there was bagging it. I said okay. I waited like another 5 minutes or so before the girl brought my food out of the back. I have no problem with waiting what so ever but, they weren’t busy. During the 5 minutes that I waited I could hear one of the girls and a cook in the back talking about how the girl had to work 5 days this week and I guess she wanted more days off? But the cook was like I’ll work any days they give me I have bills to pay. I totally agree with the cook on that. After she gave me my food I said thank you and left. When I got home my food was super cold I live less than a mile from this chilis mind you so it’s not like I drove a long time and it cooled down. I’m talking I had to re microwave the food because it was inedible cold. It was super unprofessional and really disappointing. I probably wouldn’t order curbside to-go from this chilis because from the time I ordered my food to the time I actually received it I could’ve went in and sat down and had a better experience.
Came to the restaurant today to order some simple chips and salsa to go. After asking the two other customers around if they had already ordered, I waited at the counter for somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes as the staff joked about what socks they were wearing and plans for the night. By this point additional customers had started to walk in behind me. When an employee finally came to the counter, they had not asked who had been there and simply started asking everyone else what they wanted to order even though I was standing at the counter.I walked out and took my business down the street to Las Palapas. Overall their food is WAY better and the service is fantastic! Don’t waste your time at Chili’s. I just went there for the Chips and Salsa anyhow. A restaurant that was already down the hill has gone even further.
This location is very unorganized. We went for drinks and one entire side of the bar was empty. We were informed there were 10 parties ahead, yet no one in the 10 minutes we were in the establishment was brought/called in to be seated. The manger mentioned that they only had one server and the bartender but it also didn’t look like he was helping out since they were short staffed. I would not recommend this location at all!
Service is horrible. Ordered apps and they didnt arrive to the table untill 45 mind later and thats after we requested to speak to a manager. I ordered the boneless wings and it comes with celery. Everyone knows how I love my celery with my wings, my celery fell off my plate when being served and the server and the manager said they would send out more and that never arrived. Apps were warm and not even hot, like they were sitting the ENTIRE time we were waiting. The lemonade I ordered tasted like mildew the tea my husband ordered was disgusting. I will never go back to this location. For the record. There was 6 people dining at the time (ourselves included) it shouldnt take that long for some food!
I will not be coming here again. This was supposed to be a meal for two 2 meals for $25 ended up looking like a meal for two 2 meals for $10.The ribs were cut way too short. Only 2 to 3 bones.Ribs looked like as if someone took a piece out of our lunch!!!! We got the corn and rice and mash but the ribs were horrible. Wasted my money. I had better experiences from this place in the past but this is a first for me. Im raging like crazy here at home looking at these terrible portions. My mom was hungry for decent food. This wasnt it. I would like to have my money back but we all know that place isnt gonna do that for me. Oh and the name of the order was for Candice. If they knew at the time they were low on ribs they could of told us.
The food was awfully horrible...although the corn on the cob was good😋...chicken crisper loaded fries were a total waste of money....I paid, I tipped, and will not be returning to this location....1 server and 1 hostess working the bar side of the restaurant...10 table (bar side) with patrons...yet it was a 40 minute wait for seating....waste of my time today!!!
Cooked my burger to the point it was a burnt hockey puck (ordered pink), not edible. Undercooked my eggroles, doughy and cold inside. Didnt have the waffles I ordered for my wife waffles with crispers. 50 minute wait for a to go order. Couldnt get through on the phone to talk to someone about my ruined dinner. All around disappointment.
Me and my family stepped out on a Saturday and had the BEST experience at this Chilis. Our waiter was PHENOMENAL!! His name was Marquis. He made sure that we had great service even though the restaurant was under staffed. He MADE the experience. Very interactive. Provided suggestions and even showed hospitality to our children. Definitely worth it.
Ok so I when I start off with this review no shame to the the waiter he was actually really nice. So I went here with my auntie for my cousins birthday. When we first got in it we had to wait an hour to be seated when we already booked and when we ordered the food it was really cold. When my food game out it was a little wet but I didin’t really care and when I ordered desert they almost forgot my Cheesecake.
First off I want to say the food was good . The service was horrible. The night manager was doing interviews during dinner rush. We asked for a both , then was told it would be awhile cant guarantee the wait time. Then two minutes later after we were seated at the bar the manager proceeded to sit someone with three people are both very poor service and it needs to be looked into
I wish I could give this place zero stars, but this will suffice. Ive gone there a few times with my friend to grab a quick bite. My first visit was perfect, even the steak I ordered, but the quality of service and food went downhill from there. I know for a fact that bartender knows I frequented that spot, I always tip, & never give her a hard time, but she hardly greeted me, and never looked me in my eye. Why? Idk. My last visit there, they served me yellow avocado, and wilted lettuce for my salad. The bartender who served me, as well as the manager acted as if I were the problem when I wanted to send the food back. I never even complained about the steak I got on my second visit that chewed like bubblegum, so I still dont understood why I was treated like a nuisance. Will never go back to this place.
Chilis is a good bar and grill. Always a nice spot to sit at the bar and watch the game and get a good plate of food. We stopped in over this past St Pattys day for dinner and had a good time. I got a burger and fries which really hit the spot and a pint of Guinness. The bartender was funny and really treated us well.
Weve been to this location many times, and it used to be pretty good, never great but usually decent enough place to eat with our kids.. A few weeks ago, we tried to eat here with our family of 5. Walked in to an almost empty restaurant, except for maybe 3 or 4 tables on the bar side. The hostess very rudely told us they could only seat 4 people right now.....huh? I have never heard of a restaurant only being able to seat a certain number of people per table. And keep in mind 3 of our 5 are children, one being 3 years old. I understand times are tough in the restaurant business, and they are understaffed, but youre telling me you can serve 4 people but 5 is just too much??? I told them we will take our money elsewhere from now on. I would not be surprised if this place closes down.
First of all we walked in and the hosts told us that they had a 25 min wait which was fine but not even 2 minutes went by and our table was ready. It took our servers a couple of minutes to approach us, we order didn’t even bother on coming to check to see if everything was fine i order the ribeye steak medium well, my steak comes back under cook i have to personally look for a manger because our server didn’t care didn’t even bother asking of we wanted more drinks. I felt we were rushed in and out will I comeback again definitely not worst restaurant ever!
Decided to try this location. Wasnt especially busy. Got seated right away. Waiter was attentive, courteous. But as we waited for our food, it was taking a long time. I was getting more and more agitated. I almost left. Just when I thought it couldnt get any worse, the food finally came out...and they Totally Redeemed Themselves! Lol. Well almost. I wont give 5 stars on food that took forever, but I have to say it was fantastic and it saved the night. Left on a good note.
The food selection wasnt good. However, the server was very impressive. Due to COVID and being short staffed, she was the only server for that shift. We had a group of 8 and she didnt miss a beat. She was an older lady who managed to provide better service that Ive gotten from much younger servers when they were fully staffed. Kudos to her for making our dining experience a great one
Honestly Ive never had a negative experience here, even during covid. I went again the 1st week of May and we sat at the bar. The bartender was taking care of almost every table in the dining room plus the bar. Our food came out good, a little cold, but made to order. The manager was helpful with bringing out food and talking to customers. All in all a great place to go eat.Buttt coming here on aug 3rd, younger male at the front door tried telling us its a 30 minute with the worst attitude ever and food stuffed in his mouth, when theres literally 6 people in the dining room. The continued to sit 3 tables that walked in after us. He never messaged us for our table and didnt get sat down until we walked back in to see what was going on with our table.5 workers just sitting in the carry out section doing literally nothing. They let the phones ring constantly without ever picking it up to take peoples orders. Minus the one good waitress/bartender this place is an absolute joke.
I mistakenly order the wrong thing. It was 100% my fault. I ordered through carbide to go and when I went to the cashier I told her that I had made the mistake, it wasnt their fault at all. They swapped out the wrong items for the correct and got it out to us quickly and the food was hot. Thank you so much!
This was the worst dining experience ever!!! The hostess was rude from the time we entered the restaurant. She had a terrible attitude and didn’t even greet us as we walked in she just looked at us. We told her a table for 5 and she put us down as a 4 when we were called we had to go back on the waiting list. We waited for an hour with a whole sideOf the restaurant closed down with all open tables. The service was horrible they locked the doors and hr before closing time. This was the worst dining experience and i will not be returning
I dined in with two friends at this restaurant and received extremely poor service. We arrived at 8pm waited 40 minutes for a table after being told we would have a 20 minute wait time. After we were seated we waited another 20 minutes before we were greeted by a server to take our orders.We placed our orders and she left our table. We waited 10 minutes before getting our first drinks. After getting our drinks we waited another 15 minutes before we received our food. Never receiving napkins or a drink refill. We finished eating our meals and waited for her to bring us our dessert. Three of us were at the table and she only brought two spoons for our dessert. When she brought our dessert we asked for a third spoon. She said okay, and instead of grabbing a spoon right away she cleaned tables right next to us. We waited 15 minutes before she came back with a spoon and said, “is it too late for this” as she pulled it out of her back pocket. We said no were all set.She said okay, walked away and didn’t bring our checks. We waited for 20 minutes to get a bill, so fed up with our service we left cash on the table and left. Never receiving a receipt. We very well could’ve dined and dashed but we didn’t. She must’ve forgot to give us the bill.We understand that with COVID things are different but this service was appalling. We tried to be polite and patient but after being at this restaurant for over 2 hours we were tired and ready to leave. With the restaurant not being at full capacity you would think the service might be faster but that’s not the case here.
When the young man seated us he started speaking really fast. I assume that they dont use table menus anymore since there wasnt any on the table. The only thing I heard was pull the menu up on your phone. I asked him to repeat and he kept walking. It was confusing trying to bring the menu up on my phone. They should find another solution for the menu. Maybe they should put the menu on the computer sitting on the table. The waitress was friendly and nice. Oh, dont forget to ask for your condiments because they are no longer on the table and we had to ask for napkins. Be blessed and safe everyone.
My husband and I are both servers so, we look forward to receiving quality service that we offer as fun date night to treat ourselves. When we arrived yesterday at 6pm there were 4 tables sat and 1 couple at the bar. Now, Im all for operating at 25-50% capacity but when the host refused to sit us because they were too backed up in the kitchen and on the floor I assume its because Chilis doesnt want to serve more customers than they need to during happy hour, or a form of discrimination had occurred. Regardless, we both agreed to never support this company again and put our money elsewhere.
This was hands down and by far the worst Dining experience Ive ever had. The simple order came out overdone, twice. Took over 30 minutes between the incorrect orders. The shrimp that were part of the order were not all devained. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Apparently they were having staffing shortages.
I love it here. some times they get very busy but they have the nicest staff they are so understanding and try to give you the best chilis experience. I will be coming back here a lot!! and not to mention their food is so good and priced very well for the big portions you get.
Trying to be seated for dine in is confusing during these covid times. It took us 30 minutes for our group of 3 people, and multiple phone calls. But we were able to order right away, got our food and ate within an hour (one of us had to go to work). I appreciated the timely manner of our waitress and the kitchen staff. Food was good, too.
Horrible! #period ! Unbelievable how restaurants can put up with this .. people are not working close until you find good workers.. waited an hour on a online order for my food and it was cold , hard and Horrible . Some people do work and when we do take out it is because we had a long day and just want something nice but no we spend are money for Horrible, rude service
This place is terrible, they told me to get there at a certain time and made me wait an hour for my food. A whole meal was missing. I found hair in almost all the food. This is terrible, you guys need to sanitize. This used to be my favorite place now I never want to go here again.
I guess they had all the money they needed, we waited for at least 5 minutes and no hostess ever came back to seat us. No one else acknowledged that we were waiting even though they were walking around. The restaurant was not crowded. We had called ahead and was told there was no wait. I guess no one wanted to do there job. Ended up at Red Lobster were the food and drinks were perfect.
Ordered delivery and the food wasnt fresh AT ALL! The fries were cold and hard, the burgers were cold, and the street corn looked like it was left over from last week! The ribs were crispy and looked like they had sat under a light for hrs! Called and spoke to the manager and he told me its going to take 3 weeks for my refund to post back to my account! I will never order anything from this place again!
Please do not go here! I went here on a Sunday night with my GF and 2year old daughter and we were done so bold. We get to the front desk so we can be seated and the hostess tells us it will be a 20min wait and that we should wait outside, so we did. 40mins later, we go inside to see what the wait is and the hostess tells us that they’re are closed for night. Keep in mind, this is at 9PM and they’re supposed to close at 11PM. Can’t believe they waisted are time like that. The hostess literally watched us sit outside for 40mins knowing they were “closed.”
I ordered curbside. The waitress/runner took my name for the order. I waited an extra 25 minutes past the expected time for my food. After 25 minutes, I went inside and seen my food was ready and sitting on the shelf. They shouldve at least noticed me the food was going to be late when I arrived and paid attention to which orders need to go out.
The resturant was nice and clean. Customers had to have on a mask entering and exiting. If a customer did not have a mask , they were politely asked to return when they had one. The food was great. My waitress was kind through out my dinning experience. She brought me a lemonade that I didnt like, then exchanged it for one that I did; without an attitude. She kept a smile on her face and kind words the whole time. She didnt walk away abs never come back, she continued to check on our table. The foid was fresh and delicious. I recommend this particular Chilis to one and all.
My baby sister took me out for a birthday dinner. We are 18 years apart. So she was very proud to escort her big brother out to dinner. We were served by the same bartender did I will survive before on my first visit to this location. And she was as wonderful the first time if not more the second time. I dont know her name but she is African American and she wears glasses she makes me drink and has a wonderful disposition.
Worst place ever. Ordered food from here before and each time was even more terrible than the last. Tonight was my last visit to this Chili’s (Livonia) location! My family ordered online for curbside pickup and so long story short I arrived at the restaurant, I text “here” like instructed to do, waited about 20 minutes in the car before having a member of my fam go in & get it. I guess their “curbside pickup” is “non-existent” and don’t even bother on calling their phone number on arrival! I kept calling and calling their damn phone number, at least 9, 10 times and NO ONE answered! My fam and I won’t be ordering from that specific location anymore! HORRIBLE SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND!!
They get 3 stars because they told us 40mts. and it turned into 1hr & 15mts. & they were only serving on one side of the restaurant and I have NO idea why. But our waitress (cant remember name) did a very good job. Although not operating at full capacity our food came out in a timely fashion & was hot. Like everyone in the world I wish this covid s*** would go away so things can get back to normal.
I placed a order about a week ago and the food was horrible. I ordered two meals the exact same and both meals tasted horrible. I called back to complain and the manager said she would take care of my next meals. I came today and they only want to compensate me for one meal. The manager was rude. If I am paying my money I want what I pay for not some horrible food. The ribs were fatty, and did not taste good at all. Then they boxed my meal with aluminum that could of easily got in the potatoes and caused a chocking hazard. This is the worst experience I ever had from them.
Absolutely horrific service. We have been here multiple times (shame on us) and have had a bad experience every time. The last straw was today. We went in for lunch and waited 10 minutes to get sat, and then another 10 minutes for the server to greet us. We had an infant and not one employee offered a car seat holder, I had to get one myself. There was one server on at 12:45 (lunch time) and it was packed. She took our drink order, and they were out of all of their soda (I learned this by basically playing go fish with the server, instead of her just telling me that their machine was down, she let me spout off different sodas) I finally asked well, what do you have? And got a snooty response that it wasnt her fault that the machine was down. I asked for the manager, and there lies the problem. The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. This lady could have cared less about our concerns. Literally could have cared less. We decided to leave and its a guarantee that this was the last time we go here. The slob of a manager is the problem and mark my word this place will be another franchise very soon if they keep this horrible service up. *UPDATE: I see a bunch of these canned were sorry responses from what appears to be a corporate customer engagement team going back months and months. What exactly is being done at this location? This place needs a serious intervention. The staff and culture here needs some turnover clearly. When is the last time someone from corporate has intervened?
Went to the location in Livonia in Plymouth road. It was me, my husband and our 3 year old and it was around 6pm. Was told the wait would be 5-10 minutes, but actually waited 20 minutes to be seated. After being seated, we sat there for 25 minutes without one person coming to us. We didn’t have any drinks, my husband is type 1 diabetic and really needed a pop for the sugar. After 25 minutes without 1 greeting, we’re packing up to leave and the hosts that were around us sitting around doing nothing decided to ask if we’ve been helped, I told her no and she said she would get her manager. At this point is was 7pm, my kid was starving and we just had to leave to go get her food at different restaurant where we didn’t have to wait an hour just to get a beverage. This was a horrible experience and I will never go back to this location. Seeing hosts sitting around, at a not so busy time, while you’re so hungry and just want a drink and to eat, was a horrible feeling. We felt humiliated and felt like the employees didn’t care. Horrible experience and I didn’t even get to eat any damn food and get s beverage after being at this location for an hour!!
Very good experience today. Our waitress was training doing an excellent job. Fast food time and quality.. recommend....returned today . Food was good ... service was 8 of 10. Showed waitress email for chips and salsa but still get charged. Caution on that ... may be a gimmick. We are staying away for a while in hopes it gets better. Will delete gimmick emails from them. Reducing stars....here again. Walked in 20% full and told to wait 10 to 15 minutes wow loosing business. Fourth go around wife’s order still wrong.
What even was this experience. We were seated fairly quickly, but it took about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us after that, and that was just to say our waitress would be with us soon, she was “making” our silverware. No “can I get you some water?” or anything offering to help. Our waitress finally came out, absolutely wreaking of cigarette smoke. She took our orders, and for a table of 5, had to ask us each four or five times what we wanted to drink (four waters, two other drinks, not exactly a complicated order). After sitting there for 20-25 minutes, no waters or appetizers, she came up to the table and said “Hey, you’re back! It’s been a while! You get hungry again?” None of us even got up to use the restroom! At first I thought she had to be joking, but she walked away to deliver food to another table saying she’d be right back with us. 10 minutes later, still no word from her. We decided to leave, because by then we’d been there almost an hour, and we weren’t even sure she’d actually placed our order. We told the manager we wanted to let her know, and her response was a very unenthusiastic apology, a “I saw you a little while ago, but I didn’t realize you’d been here that long” and a “have a good night.” It was not busy, and there were I think two other waitresses in our section, none of whom took the time to ask if we’d been taken care of, which was clear we hadn’t, since we had nothing on our table except some silverware. I will not be returning to this location.
The automated answering machine said they were serving inside and they open at 11 am so we go a party of 3. They do serve inside but not until 4 and after. I think the automated message should be changed then. The other one is open at 11 in the dinning room but this one is not waisted trip
I love the food from Chilis. I often get take out for my wife and I. However it seems that every time we get takeout it ends up being at least 15 minutes or more of a wait then we are told. The order is always correct and the food taste great, we just wish the staff were more apologetic and had a better sense of urgency when it comes to customer service.
Lets see I waited over and hour for them to bring me out the wrong plate then took another 35 min to wait for my order and it looked like charcoal.....will not ever go to another Chillis again if this is the service I get in livonia ......wait staff was more concerned about her cell phone and not het job ......the Manager seemed like he did care but then gave me the most burnt steak iv ever seen I said well done not charcoal so for that u did not take care of the issue I feel like I was punished for complaining about taking over an hour (they were not even close to being busy) for them to bring me the wrong food
Started with a waitress that finished her serving shift, and was doing her cleaning and side work. Regrettably I dont recall her name as she was far better than my actual waiter. She was being polite while the waiter, Dajuan, got punched in, and setup instead of making us wait for coming in right at shift change. She took our drink order, and even our appetizer and meal order before the waiter was ready. She also ended up bringing our appetizer out before we saw any sign of the waiter.When he did show up with our entrees, he didnt bring our salads that we ordered as part of the 2 for 25 meal. We had to catch the waitress as she was finishing up to get them as the waiter barely circulated around the area to watch his tables. Without hesitation she apologized for oversight and had both salads out in a few minutes. Food was decent, but not spectacular, and I am betting on the fact that my steak was the six ounce portion, and not the ten ounce I ordered and paid for, he claimed it was the ten ounce.Overall, the waiter seemed pretty much lost and unprepared compared to the waitress that was helping him out as she finished her shift and he started his. He didnt even know what we had ordered for desert as part of the meal deal, yet had rang in our order when the waitress gave him the notes on our order. When he spoke it often seemed like he was second guessing himself. When I went to settle the bill, it seemed like he felt the need to baby me and hold my hand through the process of using the on table payment terminal. I finally had to be some what short with him to allow me to handle things without being treated like a four-year old. He did get the point though and left, not returning until the payment terminal failed to print the receipt.Had we had the waitress instead of him, I would have left about double the tip, and at least another star. She was very polite, and let us know she was only helping out due to doing her side work and it being shift change. She was far more engaging and attentive then our waiter was, and seemed a great deal more confident and knowledgeable about the offerings. She was right on getting me a refill when she saw my glass was almost empty, where as the waiter never even asked if my dining companion or I wanted a refill, even when he could visually see our drinks were pretty much empty while standing at our table.In closing, dont let the above experience sway you too much. I have been to this location a few other times and had impeccable service and good food. Usually I am sitting in the bar area and not the other side. Most of the wait staff seen to favor the old way of doing things, in that they greet you politely and handle your order efficiently, all without being pushy or in your face / interrupting your meal and conversation every few minutes just to see how your doing. Most of the time they will see your drink is nearly gone and offer a refill before you need to ask for it. Raise your hand or wave / gesture for them and they are right there to take care of what you need without being all in your face.Call me old fashioned but I like it when for the most part the wait staff is seen and not heard. A few pleasantries in greeting and general getting the order then leaving me be tends to earn a waitress or waiter a far bigger tip from me then asking me how is everything when I am just starting to cut into my meal and every 5 or 6 minutes after that. One bad experience wont stop me from going here for a meal, but I will be a little more observant of where I sit and try to avoid a certain waiter in favor of the ones I have had good service from in the past.
The food was AWFUL but not as bad as the service. Our waitress seemed disoriented and unprofessional, the way she brought out some orders much before the other orders and the way she said she had to just take our cash with no printed bill. I can understand the long wait (for no reason be a only a few tables were full) and and terrible food (more specifically the old lettuce and bland flavor) was not her fault but the mannerisms of nearly everyone at that restaurant in Livonia were quite odd and it seemed as if the table behind us agreed. Hopefully this is not the same at every Chili’s because this was my first time and probably my last. At least there was no wait to get a table but that probably was for a reason. Good luck to stomach anyone who eats there in the future.
The wait wasnt bad. Maybe 10 minutes. But it was very dirty. The floor and table was sticky and my cup was covered in what I assume is oil. Our server was impersonal and didnt even look at us. She also put all of our utensils, including steak knives, in front of our 17 and 21 month olds. Our food took almost an hour but it was pretty good. Because my food was good...I give 2 stars
Worst service ever. Ordered chips and salsa with our drinks. When they came out we asked for plates as there were 5 of us. We had no napkins or place settings. Had our order taken and again asked for plates. Asked 4 times and still no plates. Waitress took our order and wrote nothing down. I asked for no tomatoes on my salad and got tomatoes. I also asked for ranch for my chicken crisper and got honey mustard. Dinners were served with still no place settings or napkins. Waitress seemed disinterested in our table the whole time. The manager was nowhere to be found to talk to about our visit. Will not go back to this location! Seems to be a reoccurring theme with service and food quality. We think management should be held accountable. They look just as disinterested as the wait staff.
I went here for a dinner outing with my cousin. After a 10 minute wait to be seated it took 20 plus minutes for our waitress to come take our drink order. We walked out before she even took our order. This isn’t the o my time the service was horrible. I have gone two other times first one long wait to be seated then the food was cold and the nacho soggy like they had been made at the beginning of the day. And one of the waiters knocked my whole bag of left overs and didn’t apologize. And I was out most of our meal. Second our food had to be taken back twice because if was wrong. I drive to the chili’s on 8mile and Haggerty now and they are amazing there.
This is the worst location ever to eat at. Everytime we come here they get our order wrong and have to wait a very long time for our food even when they are very few people in the restaurant.Went there tonight with family for a birthday dinner and we ordered drinks and they brought 3 drinks and never brought the 4th drink we had to ask again. 2 ppl ordered burgers well done and they were under cooked and had to send them back. I will never go to this location again.Horrible service!
Good food. Service needs improving. There is a lack in attentiveness. Once your order has been taken they stop paying attention. So while waiting for your food, not only does any appetizer youve ordered take forever(a salad or chips), your drink will sit empty in front of you as well. Better to order a pitcher so you can refill your own glass.
Prompt and courteous service. We had placed a rather large carry out order for one of our clients and the staff was very helpful in making sure we had everything before we left. The quality of the food was great, and everything was made properly. My customer had a few exceptions and additions made to the meals and everything was served just as they had asked. The only thing missing from this experience was the lack of plastic silverware or napkins that could have been given to us with the order.
We went with a group of 5, we had to get a handicap accessible table so we waited about 25 minutes (understandable for a dinner rush on Sunday) we then waited about 10 minutes for our drink orders to return and another 10 for our orders to be taken. Our waitress Nicole was very attentive though, she kept checking on our food, 1 of us didnt enjoy our food, he ordered the 3 choice smokehouse combintion platter and his brisket came out and was mostly fat, the sausage was good but a little cold, the garlic toast was soggy and the garlic pickles were mostly jalapenos. We dont blame the server, she tried to make things right by giving us a discounted meal.
We were told it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait, it was about 40 minutes in reality. The last 20 of that looking at the 6 clean tables with no one seated at them. Another guest asked about the wait and was told the manager was delaying seating due to the kitchen being backed up. When we were finally seated, we sat for 10 to 15 minutes. No waters dropped off, no drink orders taken. At that point we got up and left. Definitely not going back to this location.
This was the biggest disappointment. We had a party of 11. The restaurant was half empty at approximately 6pm. It was a 15 -20 minute wait. Once they tried to seat us, they were going to seat 4 at the bat 4 table and the rest at a low table. They were completely separate. We would not have been able to talk to each other. We informed the waitress we wanted to sit ? next to each other. She walked away. So my party took it upon our selves to push 3 bar tables together. This was like a hour waiting then us taking the matter in our own hands. Then food took over a hour after ordering. Management refused to compensate us at all. Worst time ever at Chilis.
Me and my friend came to chilis around 10:30pm a few nights ago they closed at midnight so we went in and they lady said they only had 2 servers at the moment and said it would be a 45 minute wait and I gave her my phone number to message when our table was ready and I said we will wait out in my car we sat out there until 11:26pm we went up to the door and the doors were locked I didint get a text or anything I understand they were short staffed but it they couldnt accommodate us she should have said something instead of keeping us waiting thats why Im only giving 1 star
Waited 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. Once we were seated took another 10 mins for someone to come to our table. Asked for take out container and watched my waitress buss 2 tables before going for it. Then wanted to pay in cash took another 15 for someone to pay. Food was good. But customer service needs a bit of work.
Where to begin? Slow service, our waitress was the bartender. She was literally the only person I saw doing anything. Got our drinks quickly. Ordered food, waited about an hour for our food. Recieved chicken on my pasta instead of the shrimp I ordered. My boyfriend had a burnt straw wrapper and a long black hair in his mashed potatoes and his steak was raw, ice cold in the middle. Waited 10 minutes before we saw anyone to flag down. Finally talked to a manager, she sent his food back. He waited probably 45 minutes for his food to be remade. Ive never had an experience like this at ANY restaurant and I will never be back. Tipped our waitress/the bartender a 20 because she was the only one doing anything. We both work/have worked in food service and we know how hectic it can be. But this is just unacceptable.
Our waitress was pretty bad. She visited us all of three times; to get our drink order, to get our food order, and once to check on us mere moments after the food came. Someone else delivered our food. It seems like the food was waiting for a while and then someone brought it to just get it done. The food was lukewarm. It was wonderful for my infant son whom I was sharing a meal with, but not so much for me. When it came time to pay we could not find our waitress, she never came near our table. Though we did see her across the restaurant. We had to flag down the man who appeared to be the shift manager and he took care of our bill. We were there almost an hour and a half on a not busy day. This was quite upsetting as I have liked this Chilis in the past.
Literally, the last five times Ive gone here my order has either.1) not been placed after ordering2) 30-45 minutes later pick up then they told me it would be3) wrong food4) ice cold food, likely because it say it the back for the extra 30 minutes it took them to get me my food.Its my fault for continuing to give this company money.In last nights fiasco the manager came over to see what the 7 other people in food limbo were being angry about. She said let me go check on your orders. She never came back.... Plus when I finally did get my food it was completely ice cold. Like it needed to be heated for two minutes in the microwave cold.Used to be a great restaurant. Now it completely sucks. Im done....
Slow service. Had to ask where the appetizer for the 2 for $25 meal special was twice. The appetizer was dry, overcooked and not hot. Refills on drinks were slow too. This place serves lousy food with exorbitant high prices and low on quality. Customer service is definitely lacking too. I will never eat a Chilis again and I do not recommend you waste your money and time by going to this place.
Not good experience after driving 30 minutes to eat here..They didn’t allow me inside even though I saw one side of the restaurant was empty.. their AC was down.. they don’t allow to take orders while I’m waiting outside.. kept pushing me to give takeout order.. they use some yelp text message system to alert waitlist.. which I received late and couldn’t even eat here.. do not recommend this place..
Waitresses were good, polite but the wait time on drinks appetizers, food was a crazy wait time!! Who ever owns the chilis on plymouth road in livonia mi get your stuff together if you cant keep up with dine in and carry out maybe its time to shut the doors! Id suggest yall do carry out only speaking to the owner and corporate etc your employees dont deserve that especially all the complaints common
Service was extremely slow and unorganized. Never order drinks at this place, they taste like juice concentrate with barely any alcohol. They say that its a corporate issue so be prepared to order a double shot and watch the bartender as they make your drink. Save yourself the headache and pass on all alcoholic drinks. waited over 30 minutes for a replacement Corona!!! After waiting an unacceptable time for our food we were given complementary sala and chips. The salsa was cold like it just came out the fridge pares with warm chips. This place was also freezing cold. First time going to this location and last. Truly an insult to the Chilis brand
We were seated right away, but waited at least 15 minutes before someone approached to take our orders. A few minutes prior to that at least 5 waitstaff gathered to sing happy birthday to another customer--so they appeared to be well staffed.We were told free chips and salsa would be provided due to our lengthy wait. That took about another 7 minutes. Then our drinks arrived, but we had to catch the server to ask for straws. When our appetizers (soup) arrived we were given spoons; when our entrees arrived we had to ask for tableware. I didnt get one of my sides and the mashed potatoes I ordered were unnecessary since the meal came with french fries. Two of us were never offered drink refills.This was the second time we had a negative experience at this location. On a previous visit the server dropped two of the entrees and somehow I expected a discount for the additional wait, but I was mistaken. The server seemed disinterested in waiting tables, or at least our table. IF we ever return, it will be a while. I will need to forget their service and hope they will forget how awful they treated us.
In the past this place was awesome but now in has the worst customer service, I call April 25 2019 at 6:20 to place an order. When the waitress answer the phone no greeting she immediately placed me on hold. I held on for 5 min hung up and call back, I guess she was mad I hung up and call back so the phone could ring again. She pick up the phone again and rudely put me on hold again, I waited about another 4 mins until she finally picked up. I go ahead to start to tell her what I wanted but you can hear the rudeness and attitude in her voice, so I ask to speak with a manager. That took a long time as well, but he picks up the phone and I let him know what I experienced and ask could he get someone with more professionalism to take my order. He put me on hold. I held for 6 min then hung up. Its unfortunate because I have never encountered so much bad customer service from people that deal with servicing customers. But I did not get to place my order at my favorite restaurant because I didnt trust these people handling my food because if they can be this rude and nasty with me, how would they treat my food. I will never be back or call this place ever again. I didnt get the waitress name but she told me the manager name was JP.
Horrible. My co-worker and i stopped by to have a couple drinks after work we seated ourselves because no one was there to greet us. After waiting 30 minutes for our drinks i finally found the bartender an was told our waitress hadnt even put the order in. Very bad experience we will not be back.Thank you for the quick response but we are waitresses so we are very understanding, there were only 6 or 7 tables at the time (definitely not busy) there was no excuse for such bad service and long wait times.
Told me there was a wait after letting me sit at the bar high tops for 5 mins. Just wanted a quick after work drink. Restaurant was not very busy. Wouldnt have come in if I had been interfering with a reservation system... then told there isnt one? Never told how to get on this wait. Didnt expect much from a Chillis but okay.
I ordered from chili’s for the group home I work in. They love the 3 for $10. We were supposed to get 2 orders of chips and salsa. We only received one and the salsa container only had 1/3 of salsa in it. Very dissatisfied. Food is one big thing people have to look forward to right now.
Edit: ordered again a year later to try it out again... Got 2 Texas cheese fries that were soggy and not good. My wifes Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich tasted awful and was slopped together so bad the bottom bin was too soggy to eat... How do you start in business at this point?? Ordered kids chicken strips, southwest chicken salad and Texas cheese fries and the proportions were absolutely rediculous. Kids meal barely had any fries and only 3 small strips of chicken. Salad was incredibly small. The cheese fries were cold and over cooked and very small portion. NEVER ordering from here again.
Note: This Chilis is actually great, my complaint is for the Its Just Wings that operates out of here and theres no place else to post this. DO NOT ORDER FROM ITS JUST WINGS!!! It tasted fine, I got some boneless wings and fries, and the oreos cause why not I was having a bad day, and that just made it worse cause now I have food poisoning! This was the only thing I ate for the day and now I feel like my stomached turning inside out. I havent been this sick in a long time.
Not good , Brittany was a great bar tender, but everyone else was not professional at all, half the place was empty and they told us a 45 minute wait.When I talked to the so called manager she told me we could sit at one of those empty tables but it would be about 30 to 45 minutes before they could wait on us..Totally uncalled for very bad management, will never go back again, But like I said Brittany was great she should go somewhere else that would appreciate her skills.
Although the place mustve been at only 40% capacity when I arrived at 5:50pm, I was told there would be a 10-minute wait because they were short-staffed. There was indeed. Then there was a wait for the waitress to take our orders...and a wait for the food because they were short on cooks. The WORST PART is that the kids pizza that my grandson ordered was STILL FROZEN in the middle. The waitress apologized and took it away, and my grandson ordered grilled cheese in its place. My food was warm but not hot. Definitely SUB-standard! I felt sorry for the waitress who was doing her best, so I definitely tipped her 20% but I dont plan to go back.
We walked in around 9:20 pm they close at 11. When seated we were only given the option to sit at the bar because staff didn’t want to clean the extra table. The male bartender was rude and short with us. The steak had the texture of rubber, the shrimp was still frozen in the middle as well as the vegetables. We received no service.! To top it off the bartender yelled out our total to us in front of everyone and yelled to ask if we really needed a receipt! Extremely bad service and unprofessional. We will not be going back here again.
Literally every time i get my curbside pickup im missing something. Last time i went i was smart & checked my order b4 pulling off & WHATTYA KNOW?!, i was missing my extra tortillas & extra avocado ranch dip, i also asked for silverware, they left that out too....... They charge you for these things, they should be in the bagTime before they forgot a whole meal. Time before that they forgot my southwestern eggrolls: i hate this chili location on plymouth rd
This place has always been an issue with us it takes them forever to sit you, so nowadays we just sit at the bar because the bartender always takes care of you . I’m pretty much writing this because yesterday when we had it we got the chips and salsa and guacamole and other foods but what got me the most was the guacamole you can tell was old, and the container it was in look like it was deteriorating on the sides from the sogginess of sitting. the salsa cups were filled a quarter of the way. It’s a shame you have to pay full price for Quarter filled salsa containers and soggy old guacamole which I’m hoping I won’t get food poisoning from
The food that came was not good. We got the honey chipotle chicken crispers and the chicken bacon avocado sandwich. The Waffles were rock hard and burnt and looked like it was heated to cook faster. The Chicken sandwich tasted undercooked and rushed. The blossom petals we got were also not even crispy and were undercooked
I would give this place a half a star so i gave it a 1 star.. Its a Wednesday at 2pm i go in with my family place is empty only 2 tables with ppl and there was a 20min wait when its empty come one are you serious ..some other guest came in and they said the same thing 20 to 30 min wait to then when there only 2 table with guest and the rest empty.. Wont come here ever again..
My boyfriend and I arrived at 9pm on a Thursday and we were hardly greeted. The hostess brought us to our table and we waited 15 minutes to order our drinks, and an additional 10 minutes to get them. When the waiter finally came he was at least polite and apologetic for the long wait. It seemed like the place was understaffed or some staff members were too busy goofing around instead of cleaning all the dirty tables. There were no clean tables when we walked in. Finally we got our food but my bf had to wait yet another 15 minutes for his cup of macaroni and cheese. I asked for more shells for my fajitas but I didnt get them until I was done with the meal. Overall I have to say that this was a very bad experience. This was my first time back at chilis in 10 years. Maybe it was just the location, but Im in no rush to go back, and will definitely never go back to this chilis ever again.
Today was NOT their day. No one was manning the door. People were waiting to be seated and there wasnt one wait staff person on the floor. We had to wait until our meal came for pop refills. The soup I ordered wasnt ready, it was 2:30pm! Our fries were cold. Usually were treated pretty good at Chilis, everyone is entitled to an off day. Ill go back and give them another chance.
The food was okay. Had a long wait and the salads that were suppose to come out before the meal came out at the same time. Waitress was nice but service was super slow. Meal was cold by the time it reached our table. Got an extra ranch that was chunky? Not sure why. 3 for $10 is a good deal.
Food was terrible. We sat for probably an hour after our food was delivered without our waitress checking on us. Had to wait even longer for our bill. We were there for my nephews 6th birthday and they didnt bring out his dessert until after most of our party had left. The birthday boy was already in the car. They all came over clapping and singing to an empty table with dirty plates all over it. The food was so awful and then later I was sick from it. Never again.
I came to pick up food and a part of my food was cold. I did ask for another soup and why was my cole slaw in the container with the hot food. My corn was old and missing kernels, I took a picture, the manager in charge was nucebut we will never come to this store again. Tell the young lady at the puck up to smile it could be worse. My egg rolls were not sliced as the picture portrays greasy, ok enough. I am very disappointed and wont come back.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.With over 15 tables open i told the host I have a party of 4. She told me that it will be a 45 min wait. What??? I asked how is that when I see a whole section with not one person sitting. She told me due to the carry our side being busy, carry out will be served FIRST BEFORE A SITTING CUSTOMERS.What a joke. I went down the street and enjoyed some Outback Steak House. Call to complain to the store, got hung up on. Never will visit a Chilies again.
Went here for dinner and was very disappointed, had a side salad and found a piece of orange in it. My mom ordered a burger and it was raw in the middle. We also found hair in her fries. We were never given napkins and had to get them from the table next to us. We saw our waitress twice and had to flag down a different one so we could speak to the manager. The manager did take things off of our bill but didnt seem to really care that we were upset. We will not be back.
Maybe I just came on a bad day, but they were horrible. I had to stand at the door for 3 minutes before someone greeted me. Then my waiter came over he was nice. But it took 30 minutes for my food (chicken tenders, southwestern egg rolls,hamburger bites and my daughter food) I watch a few people get served at the bar before me. But I always try to keep it cool. Soon my meal arrived and my chicken was cold and my hamburger bites was horrible. I wish I would have taken a picture but the waiter took the burger bites away on a napkin.Meanwhile I get up and take my daughter to the rest room, when I came back, they threw her food and my drink( that took 20 minutes to get) away. The manager did replace her food and my drink was removed from the bill, but what a bad meal with my kid.I wont be returning....
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! This location used to be nice, I’m not sure if it’s under new management or what, but it’s an absolute nightmare now. We waited for over fifteen minutes before anybody even acknowledged our existence. Then, after the bartender made our drinks, they sat on the bar while he and the waitress were eating in the kitchen. The waitress was extremely unfriendly and seemed annoyed that we were there. We were one of only three tables in the place, so there was really no excuse for how poorly we were treated. Horrendous. Do NOT go here.
Food is always tasty and they have really good deals like 2 for $25 or 3 for $10. The lunch double cheeseburger with fries and soup or salad for $8 is my absolute favorite thing to eat there and I wish they served it all day. I usually add bacon, but its still a good value. This is a great place to go when you arent looking to spend a lot but still want to eat good.
We havent been to Chilis in a long time and we decided to go back today. Everything was great-- the food, the customer service and the cleanliness! Bonus: Our kids ate everything!! Looks like we will be coming back again ad finding a place where we are all happy is hard to find.
I am literally standing here waiting for my order that was supposed to be picked up at 4:14. When I entered the pickup area no one came out to assist me for 7 minutes. There was an employee conducting personal business at the counter. After she finished with her friend, another employee came out and asked who was there first, me or another gentleman. I told her Id been waiting for almost 10 minutes. She asked my name, found my order, then said it wasnt ready yet. She left and came back saying my fries werent done. It is 4:41 and my food was just brought out. When the employee have me my food, she said, here and stated laughing, no apology. The biggest problem with this is that this IS PAR FOR THE COURSE at Chilis. I have had 3 bad experiences in the past year, this one was partially paid for by gift cards that were sent due to another poor experience. Gift cards or not I will not be returning to Chilis. I continue to be appalled at the horrible customer service poor management and general uncleanliness of the restaurant that seems to apply to anyone that you enter across the country
If I could leave a -star I would! We work 4 doors down and 5 of us went to have dinner and drinks after work, over half the restaurant was empty, yet we still waited over 30 min to be seated. The hostes explained to us that the manager screwed up the staffing. When our waitress finally took our order she didnt know the difference between the $5 margarita and the presidential..and she still got the drinks wrong and when we finally got or bills after requesting 3 times 2 of them where wrong.waited another 15 min for the manager to bring us the corrected bills and only one came back correct. Waited another 10 min or so for the last correct bill. Will Never Go Back!!
Literally took 2 and half hours after being seated to eat and leave. It was a half hour before our drink order was taken and another 45 min before we got our food. 20 min to to get dessert and 30 min to pay and get take out boxes! Food was mediocre at best. Well never go to this location again.
Do not order from here. Very poor food quality. No standards. Order never even came the first time but I know it’s bc they took so long the food was cold and the delivery person probably left. I called and talked to the manager, who was disinterested, as others pointed out. I specifically asked that my sides and dressings (which were paid for) were correct and she told me that they would be. An hour later, my order still had not arrived. When it did come, the order was completely wrong and the manager didn’t attempt to make it right. Food cold. Sides were disgusting. I paid for upgrades and extras and got none of them but still had to pay. Manager just blamed door dash, which I’ve never had an issue with. It’s the restaurants responsibility to make sure the order is correct and everything I paid for is cooked and in the bag. How would door dash know if my sides are correct or if my burger has everything on it? Especially considering it’s already bagged and tied? Disappointing. Would never go here or order from again. You would think that the manager would have take any responsibility or offer me anything for a 1.5 hour wait and $45 bucks worth of nasty food. And whoever the cook is, shouldn’t be cooking.
This Resturant had been doing really well for the last year or two, however, I visited the restaurant last night and there is new management, new cooks, new bartenders. I sat at the bar and service was incredibly slow for a restaurant in the middle of dinner rush that was a quarter full. If the margarita had any alcohol in it, I would be surprised and the center of my food was raw; unfortunately, what was turning out to be a great neighborhood spot has turned into something where the staff has no motivation. Time to find another local place to un-wind after work.
I was very disappointed with the customer service. It took 30-35 minutes just to get our appetizers and then maybe another 45 minutes to an hour to receive our entrees. It took so long we end up getting our food to go. We are from Pontiac and we were on a Valentines day getaway and our dinner date was not a great experience. I visit the Auburn Hills location alot and I have NEVER waited that long to eat.
The worst service ever! I ordered a carry out salad with grilled chicken. No one was at the To Go station. After waiting for 5 minutes, I went over to the bar area. The wait staff saw me as they were walking right past me waiting on tables. Nobody said anything to me. So, I stopped one of them and was told someone would be with me shortly.15 minutes later someone came and cashed me out. Then it took another 10 minutes to get my salad. A salad mind you, how hard is that to bag up? I checked my bag and saw they forgot the salad dressing and utensils! I stopped another waiter and it took him 7 minutes to come back with it! They actually had the nerve to have a tip jar sitting there. No wonder it was empty!👎👎👎👎👎
Food was okay, but it took 45 minutes for my friends and i to get our appetizer, and my father sat at the bar for a half hour before anyone even asked if he wanted anything. i’ve come here before and service wasn’t bad until tonight. probably won’t be returning any time soon.
What is going on with this Chili’s again? They had a good manager back a few months ago and he seem to bring it back again, it was good like it used to be. Now all the sudden the past two times we went in there after we got seated we waited 25 minutes just to talk with someone and get our menus. After that it went downhill, the whole restaurant look like chaos, and it looked like nobody was in charge.
I came in to order and they told me it would take an entire hour to make my dinner... Remind you there really no one in the restaurant or outside waiting to pick up their order.... A whole hour.... YOU MIGHT AS WELL SAY THAT CHILIS IS NOT TAKING ANY MORE ORDERS FOR TONIGHT 🤷🏽♂️
Went for dinner last night. Was sat at a table, watched servers walk right by our table, didnt ask us if we wanted drink nor did they say they would be right back to get our order. After waiting for 15 minutes we moved to the bar. The gentlemen behind the bar is ALWAYS very helpful, respectful and actually asked if they we were tired of waiting. He took care of us right away and my group then thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our time there. I think is name is Andre. The bar is the best place to sit if you actually want service. Food is ok at best, but cant ask much from a chain restaurant.
I went to Chilis today and it will be the last time. Some of the food was cold and had to be sent back. Waited 15 mins before we was even acknowledged by a waitress that had just come in. After eating waited another 15 mins before we saw our waitress again to ask for a box and bill. There is a lot of people needing job, Chilis need to hire them
Server was excellent. Very apologetic. The food prepared was horrible. It was crowded so that was not an excuse. We waited over 2 hours to get it right. I hadnt visited Chilli in 20 years because of food. I wont be visiting anymore nor will my family. We werent the only dissatisfied people.
Had to wait about 30 mins for a drink from the bar. Our soup/salads were brought to us before our drinks. Our drinks were finally served when our dinner was. Waiting that long for a drink is unacceptable. The food was good; my only complaint about that was that my steak was over-cooked. Our meal took 2 hours and most of it was waiting.
Yesterday, my family and I decided to go to Chilis after my daughters swim meet. We expected it to be busy since it was a Sunday night and it was Cinco De Mayo, but it was only about 4:30 so we gave it a try. There were 7 of us so we expected a little bit of a wait. The host told us it would be about 10-15 minutes so we put our name on the list and sat down. No big deal. We noticed that there was a section that was completely closed and in a section that was full there was a large table that would be able to fit all of us so we figured that it wouldnt be long. It looked like there was one group ahead of us. As we sat and waited, they seated several groups (they were smaller than our group so OK), but 30 minutes went by and my dad went up to the host to get an idea of what was going on. The host didnt even respond to him, just kind of walked away. The big table was still empty. 10 minutes later, the host went over and wiped down that same table and sat us there. At this point, we had already waited 40 minutes for a table that was empty the whole time without an apology or even a smile. We sat down, started looking at the menu and deciding what we wanted. 20 minutes passed and we still had not been approached by wait staff or even offered water. For the first time in my life, we walked out of a restaurant after being sat down. We waited an hour for nothing. I have had bad service, but the lack of service of any kind was worse. We ended up going somewhere else and honestly I want to thank Chilis because we went to Los Amigos and they were amazing.
Chillis was one of my favorite restaurants to dine in with my family.. During our last two visits, we were seated right away but had to wait a while for service. When the food came, it wasnt fresh, and we also had poor refill service with our drinks. Maybe they are newly staffed. I hope they improve soon.
Understaffed, seating was a little on the slow side since there were only two waitstaff individuals working the floor. My waitress only brought one straw and silverware for a party of three, and it took close to 10 minutes to get a drink order. We placed a drink order and still didnt get the second and third straw until I asked. Food was slow as well. The biggest issue was the place is understaffed, there were too many people here for two floor workers. The waitress was constantly running and was forgetful... Wont come back
I have to second everyones opinion on here about how slow the service is in this restaurant. I actually was looking up reviews of this place while waiting 40 minutes for my food and I knew I couldnt be the only person who felt this way.10 minutes to get greeted. 40 minutes to get just an appetizer. I have a lot of patience due to the demanding nature of servers, cooks, etc and this seems like a management issue. Place was 3/4 empty and service was non-existent.They need corporate help. This place is going to right into the ground if someone doesnt fix this. Yes it is that bad. This is Chernobyl level bad. This location is going to single-handedly ruin the reputation of every Chilis restaurant in southeast Michigan.Staff really seems put in a terrible spot. Felt bad for them.And what would help immensely is instead of these generic call customer service replies from the owner about the poor service would be to close this place for 3 to 6 months and get their business practices back in order.Someone in charge needs to take control of this situation as it seems its spiraling out of control. Sad.
I love chilis but this location is bad. No one was at the door to greet me like other locations. Then the waitress wasnt really good. She got my order wrong and she never checked on me. I order my dessert on the tablet and she didnt notice and came over and took me that i can pay on the tablet and i know that. Didnt ask if i wanted a refill i jad to tell her i want more drink. Then it took over a 30 minutes to get my dessert and i had to talk to the manger and then it two minutes to get it. I normally dont talk to the manager but my waitress never came to my table. This place really need help with Customer service.
Hi I go to Chilis quite often and my waitress name is Danielle. We love Chilis but this particular day which was Sunday it taking a while for Danielle to come over to the table why she came over to the table we ask for chips and guacamole she brought us to chips it taken 15 to 20 minutes before the guacamole came chips are not warm anymore but she did offer to bring us some more I truly believe from watching Danielle may have had too many customers I put a order in for my husband 10 minutes before we stop eating our meal and it taken an hour before I received it. I retired from this industry so I know how it goes I never want her again as a waitress I dont know when I will be back to Chilis with that experience
Horrible. We waited over fifteen minutes to be greated. The food took quite awhile. No drink refills no one came to ask us how we were doing. Nothing. I was going to email the GM or something because the table behind us also waited at least 10-15 mins to be greated as well. I had to ask for a pickle as my burger didnt come out with one... guess what. I never got the pickle from the food runner or waitress. I waited a few minutes for it and then my food got cold. I went on a weekday and they were dead. Not busy at all. Not too sure what the issue was... Nonetheless horrible service. Will not return.
Terrible food quality. The long wait for a table to be cleaned was almost enough to leave. Being served cold and uncooked food is a deal breaker. Reminder of why I avoid chain restaurants. Keeping it local and better quality. Server was nice. Hence, the one star rating.
Poor service and insulting to customers!!! I order a beer while I am waiting for my food. After tasting it I informed the bartender that the beer is bad. Ten minutes later I am offered a different beer. When paying for the check they charged me for both, stating that “once you taste the beer it can’t be comped” ??? Apparently, they say, customers do this all the time. At this point the 6 dollars are not worth the insult. Don’t waste your time in this establishment! Chili’s please save the generic apology you send.
Service so bad Im actually writing a review. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and came back but just like the first time, it took 10 minutes to get seated. (After we said something) Another 10 minutes without even ordering a water and had to walk out again. Barely busy. Staff doesnt care and it shows. Good luck with these ambitious people.
I only gave this 2 stars because the food was good. Other wise my whole experience was very disfunctional!! We were asked to wait to be seated when there were plenty of tables open? Then when we were seated we were put in what felt like a corner. There was nobody else seated in the booths around us. The server was nice and let us move over. But we were told about a promotion if we sign up for we would get chips and salsa.. We never recieved it! Even after asking twice about it! I ordered the 3 for 10$ (a drink a soup or salad and a entree) i didnt recieve my soup until after i finished my meal and asked 2 servers about it!
The only reason Im giving one star is because you have to. Worst service I have ever had! No refills but she asked twice if i wanted one. They dropped mine and my fiances food off first then realized she marked the wrong food down and had to wait ten minutes for my daughters food. Waiter another 20 minutes for a manager to take the food off we didnt order. Just overall worst experience ever! Told my fiance we shouldve just went to applebees! Never listens Haha also were good tippers she got .71 cents and I was a waitress so so I know you live off tips but she shouldve thought about that!
Chilis food is always pretty good. This particular location has gone down hill in terms of cleanliness and service. Orders not coming out properly, or coming out at all. Weve ordered coffee and this location says they do that have any. Last night we were told their coffee sucks and none was made. We made her make a pot anyway! We keep coming back because the food is good but coming back to this location is iffy.
If i could give this experience 0 stars i would!!! Me and 6 other friends came straight fromm work to eat there. Barely anybody was there but somehow it took 50 minutes to get non alcoholic drinks and after a hour and 20 minutes the food. Not to mention the food and silver wear on the floor and on the menus. We had to keep asking for silver wear and our drinks while the few people around us were being served there food even tho we got there a long time before them. This restaurant was awful would not go again and would not recommend anyone else to
HORRIBLE SERVICE. I ordered a steak they kept making it well done when I requested medium well. They charged all 3 and did a comp. I simply asked the waitress why did they do that. She became upset, lied about something involving the chef, snatched the receipt and walked away. Then knew she was wrong because she sent the mgr to hand me the receipt back. I will be contacting corporate asap. This is exactly why I dont go to cheap restaurants. You always get bottom of the barrel service.

Rarely has been my experience.I ordered the BBQ Brisket Burger, hoping to get a nice, big, juicy burger. What I got was something that looked better than the menu photo!LOOK AT THAT BEAUTIFUL BURGER!!! Okay, it’s a little messy, but that’s how a good burger should look!The Southwestern Egg rolls were delicious, and without asking, they delivered it with two cups of avocado-ranch!The bartender, Brittany, was working the bar and surrounding tables. She was amazing! Even though she was super-busy, she always stopped by at the right moment when our glasses needed a refill or we were ready for the next dish.We enjoyed our dining experience so much that we felt compelled to ask to see the manager and share how pleased we were. Brittany looked a little concerned, but we assured her that it was all good!Jessica, the manager, came up to us with a concerned look. We could see that and we assured her how thoroughly satisfied we were with our dining experience. From Brittany’s expert customer service to the chefs in the kitchen turning out amazing food. We had to share that with her!For dessert, we ordered the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie. We were cautioned that the skillet was hot, and the cookie was indeed sizzling in the skillet!The cookie was crispy along the edges, which transitioned into a nice, warm, chewy cookie that was easy to scoop a little ice cream onto with each spoonful!Well done, Chili’s! We’re continuing to be fans of this establishment!

2022-07-05My Carne Asada was supposed to have black beans and loaded mashed potatoes as the sides. Instead I received loaded mashed potatoes and a few spoonfuls of rice...like they read after it was already plated that there wasnt supposed to be rice, tried scooping it out, failed, and then forgot to go get my actual side of black beans. Photos are how I was received.

2022-04-09Wow! I walked in with my wife on a Tuesday night at 9:00pm and requested to sit at the bar and dine. Hostess told us we couldnt sit there. There was one person sitting and dining at the bar which seats about 15 people. When we asked why, the hostess explained that the bartender was too busy. I think they may be short staffed, but Dear Lord! We ordered a carryout that was so pathetic and terrible, I wont even go into details, Close down if you dont have enough employees to at least provide a decent meal. I completely wasted $45 on inedible garbage not fit to be served at a soup kitchen. I wish this Chilis the best of luck, however; I doubt management or the employees care. Just awful.

2022-05-13Stopped in for lunch today and the hostess told us that wed have to sit at the bar because shed just sat her twice.I gather that she meant to spread out the diners to another waitress. Thing is, the place was nearly empty. Im certain a waitress would be willing to walk to another section rather than lose business altogether, which is exactly what happened. We left and went to Archies up the block where the foods better anyways.

2022-06-07Disgusting Togo food order. I was the only car in the to go zone and it was a Tuesday at 12:30pm, not busy at all from the looks of things. The chicken crispers were so soggy, the skin just mushed when you picked it up and slid right off the chicken. I took one bite, and the middle was cold. The fries were cold and mushy, as if they had been from the night before and microwaved. I’m not sure who thought that this was quality food to give to a customer, but honestly it was disgusting. I won’t be back here for to go again. Hopefully their dining experience is much better.

2022-06-19Unfortunately we couldnt even rate the food because we were never seated. There was a wait at the door and no seating at the bar. That was the strangest thing I ever seen. The hostess said theres a 45 min wait to sit at the bar, but no one was even sitting there. Lol we have had nothing but poor service the last few times we tried to go and/or eat there. Very sad! Could be a great location but horrible management.

2022-06-28Ordered burgers and they were a little burnt. Kitchen didnt put bbq sauce on burger, had to request. Waitress very nice and hard working. Kinda disappointed, overall.
