Panda Express in other cities:
Come here a couple times a week, lines are normally long but tolerable. Drive through only no dine in which is fine, having to remind the girl at the drive through window for my drink or sauce about every time I go here gets old quick. Their attention to detail is not all that good but the food is always warm and tastes fresh. Customer service could improve, food needs to stay the same.
This used to be our favorite panda! Everything was always fresh and so good. Now, you can’t plan when you can even go. As someone who drives a half hour to come here, it would be nice to know the store is closing an hour early. Or.. that yesterday I could eat inside, but today indoor is closed. It’s very frustrating. Last two times, sweet fire chicken had no pineapple, either! Tried to come here again tonight and was told “sorry kitchen is closed here’s what we have”. It was 7:15, and they aren’t supposed to close til 8:3, according to their hours!!
Sadly disappointed in the quality of both food and service. The orange chicken is poorly undercooked. My beef and broccoli should have been called broccoli with a piece of beef. We went drive thru but I would ONLY dine-in from here on just to make sure they actually cook the food and give me fair portions.
WORST Chinese food Ive ever had... the beef was so tough you couldnt chew it... the broccoli was the ends that should have been thrown away... couldnt chew those either. The fried rice tasted like dirt... not sure why. Ive lived all around the country.. many different versions of Chinese food... the WORST... for $45 you dont even get a egg roll... probably best for us considering how gross the food is.
Worst customer service! I ordered my food online, paid and was told I could pick up at 8:14pm. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:12pm; a female worker came out with an attitude and told myself and another gentleman to get in line. Now mind you the line was out of the parking lot. I dont blame the line worker, I blame the manager. I can even see my food probably amongst the bags sitting on the counter. Never coming back here again and my meal is probably cold now. If I could give it a zero I would.
What happened to the portions? Its all rice very little chicken or mushrooms in the chicken mushrooms bowl!!! This used to be one of my favorite places now they just stuck. Long wait, rude employees, food tastes bad, and very little meat. I paid good money for a bowl of riceVery disappointed not that anyone will do anything about it
They close daily EARLY, the staff want to get out they make there own hours and The manager said 45 minutes before they close that there is no food left, laughter and GO AHEAD CALL CORPORATE IT DOES NOT EFFECT THEM, so 😉 there is no organization hours vary if staff wanna go home.. 3 times in 3 weeks.. go to another location.. Rochester is alot cleaner and way more organized..
Excellent service and great food. We got here about an hour or so before close and the line in drive-thru was long but progress was steady, which was nice. When we ordered we were told up front that their could be a wait depending on what we ordered, but they would let us know so we could change our choice if we choose. A few things were out and we elected to wait, were told where to wait for our order. Our quoted wait time was right on point, and the employee who brought us our order, Jade was very kind and courteous. Will definitely come again and again.
Panda Express has very good food. They also dish out good size portions and their prices are reasonable. However, beware when you go there. They have poor logistics in their service.First, if you are in a hurry, dont depend on quick service. Ordering ahead simply gives you a step up on ordering when you get there.Once I order and was assigned a pick up time. When I got there, I waited 20 minutes after my designated pick up time before my order was ready. Another time I ordered, arrived at the assigned time, parked and walked to the door only to see a sign that said all pick ups at drive-thru window. By this time 5 or 6 cars had pulled in. After 15 minutes in the drive-thru line I was asked to pull around and someone will bring my order out. After another 20 minutes I received my food.To their credit, the food is always hot and good. But add an extra 30 to 45 minutes to whatever pick time you have.
The drive through line can take 45 minutes to get through when its busy - the line often times extends out into the main parking lot entrance past the stop sign and blocks traffic. Desperately needs more staff or streamlining of some sort.EDIT: Yesterday I ordered ahead of time online, arrived at the restaurant and found out I had to wait in the drive thru to pick up my food anyway (whats the point of ordering online?), and then got food poisoning. Will never come back to this location.
Im usually a positive reviewer. But frequent this location often. There is a strange lack of consistancy at this location. The portions are all over the place, but as of late small. Since the place is drive thru only, we drive away because of little other options. Last pickup my bag had no fork, fortune cookie, or napkins. I will change my review if the location improves.
Arrived at 10:30 when they were supposed to be open and doors were locked and nobody was at drive thru to take our order. When we finally got ahold of someone in the drive thru ten minutes after they were supposed to be open, the lady told us it would be another ten minutes for our food to be ready. We waited for at least ten minutes only to get the wrong food order. When they finally unlocked the doors, we went inside to use the restroom and get the correct food. The restrooms were trashed and the garbages were overflowing despite us being the first customers let in the building that day. All of the workers were outside smoking and came in with no masks as we were walking out. Just dirty and unprofessional.
I frequently go to this location and recently it has had poor service. I went in at around 5:00 today and it took 30 minutes for me to finally get someone to talk to me and make my in store order. While I was waiting I watched the current manager Catie counting the pieces of chicken on a plate and then putting two back one by one... She then made eye contact with me and said nothing and cut off the person trying to ring out the gentleman ahead of me on the register to make an online order... Upon finally getting to my place in line they attempted to serve the person behind me first. Thankfully he said no help him first please. To top it all off the brown rice I ordered was half cooked and hard. This location needs to take a good hard look at its management
In 1984, Wendys aired a TV commercial that showed an determined, elderly woman standing at a fast food counter and asking the question, Wheres the beef? Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before I ordered beef and broccoli from Panda Express. After I carefully looked at my large order, I felt compelled to call and ask the same question. Really, I called the Brown Road, Panda Express to speak to the manager to ask the question. But when I asked for the manager, a new employee told me that the manager was ill and would be away for a undetermined length of time. To my wheres the beef query, the new employee gladly provided me with the corporate explanation that beef made up only 25% of any beef and broccoli order. Considering the 40+ broccoli florets in my large order, I think four pieces of beef was a little short. Panda Express has a website if you want to raise your complaint(s) to corporate.
My husband waited in line for an hour to pickup my online order. They didnt have any Dr. Pepper, so they subbed for a Powerade. Our food was cold and they literally forgot to add in a whole panda bowl. When I called, there was no manager or assistant manager on site. I will be calling back tomorrow and expect a refund to right the wrong from tonight. Slow, cold, and missing food is not okay.
So I can understand that the time of day may be busier and that time is needed to prepare the food, but when you place an order online, it shouldnt take an hour and 15 minutes your food to be ready. I work in food myself and I understand the system may not be the greatest, but this is a bit too much time for a 39.00 order. The system kicked out to 45 minutes when the order was placed. This was mysmy issue with Panda Express and the online order system. Wont do it again.
Usually pretty good. Time before last three orange chicken was terrible. Dry & chewy. But thats the only time Ive ever had a problem with the food. The last time we went everything was great, but they are so busy I often see the dining room be pretty messy. Havent ventured into the bathrooms because I figure if they cant find time to clean the dining room often enough, they probably arent handling the bathroom. The kitchen where they cook kids experience clean though. People working are usually pretty brusque & in a hurry. Not unfriendly, per se, just definitely not welcoming or overtly friendly either.
Food was semi warm and many items they were out of... Ya either had to take what they had or wait 5 - 10 minutes. The indoor trash was full, several drink selections were out . I choose orange chicken and it was kinda warm. The worst part was eating with semi lighting. They only had a few lights on throughout the restaurant, none above the booths or tables closest to the food station. I love Panda but it wasnt a great experience.
If I could give this location zero stars, I would. They can’t do more than one order at a time in drive thru. It is consistently packed around the building no matter the time. The employees are rude, the rice is rarely ever cooked fully. I can’t believe this place is still standing. It’s an absolute joke and it keeps getting worse. Don’t go unless you wanna wait in a drive thru line for 25-30 minutes.
It had been forever and a day since I ate at this place, and Ive only ever had it in mall food courts, but ordered it recently to take home. Wasnt really sure what to expect to be honest, but when I got my food home it was excellent, very tasty. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
The wait was awful. We had to wait for food to be made and I had to enter the restaurant to get my food and got handed a half full tiny box of chicken. What a joke. Maybe show some hospitality and offer an upgrade to your customers when you turn a drive through experience into a 30 minute ordeal
Its gone so far down hill. My pick up order wasnt ready at the promised time. It was like another 25 min. I was missing food and half of it was cold. Because it had been sitting forever. Im pretty sure that they print their reciepts to look as if the customers are picking up there orders right on time as well. Im good keep your overpriced cold panda trash.
I live about 10 mins away and yet It took them an hour and a half to deliver my order. Tracking order showed that the order was picked up and on the way, then 20 mins later I received a text from the driver saying he’s heading to Panda Express to pick up the order. The food arrived cold and messy.
First let me say that it was very clean. I was impressed on how clean the store looked and felt. I have never been to this one, but unfortunately will not return. For starters, I thought we were in need of a pillow and blanket for how slow everyone was moving, when you werent even busy, it was absurd.Your food had been sitting for so long that my rice tasted like cold butter, my orange chicken tasted like cold squishy sauce, and I was told a 5 minute wait for Kung Pao Chicken, when in reality it was closer to 10-15 min. I instead ordered mushroom chicken which although tepid was the best tasting item that I had ordered. My companion ordered the noodles, which were undercooked, flavorless and quite disappointing. He ordered orange chicken which ended up being just as tasteless and soggy as mine was and he also ordered and waited for the Kong pao chicken, which like I started above was 10-15 min. When he received the kung pao chicken it was hot and looked very good, luckily it was :-)Store workers looked tired, but then again it was Sunday, but the Girl working the counter was very slow but polite.
Patrick was useless at his job and couldnt even remember my name by the time he got over to look at the orders. When he did find the order he only brought half and they had only about half the portion of food as normal. The drinks and sauce were forgotten as well as the cookies for the kids meals. While I would say the normal trip here is subpar. This trip was well below that bar.
Not the best operation to get your carryout right now under the stay-at-home order if you are in need of food. Panda Express has one of the worse processes to pick up an order. You place the order online they tell you a time when your meal will be ready when you arrive you are in the drive-thru line where others are picking up their orders, placing an order or door dash..terrible operation. My suggestion would be to have the online orders pull into a parking spot and then have an employee being out to them. If you are not going to do this then what is the point of ordering ahead.
NEVER AGAIN!! ---SIRENA B---6-22-18 @ 7:24 pm (order #492973)Long waits, very rude employees, inability to properly fill orders, service without a smile.Customer service was disgusting. According to my receipt, you can thank EMPLOYEE SIRENA B, for this justified review. The wait was too long through the drive through, which wouldnt have been a big deal, considering I came here for a better than Fast food experience and should have been worth the wait, but was not. Employee not only rolled her eyes at me while paying, but handed us our food and it was wrong; missing half the order. After the long wait and eye rolls, I was getting a bit irritated at this point, asked employee for the rest of our order, after sitting there for longer than necessary for her return, and the attitude, again, was disgusting, as if I made the error. This will be my last trip to your business and I highly recommend you put your employees through a customer service class and weed out the ones that cant cut it. I can already tell you of at least one.6/10/2019 @ 8:20 PM (Order #470907)Should have listened to my own advice. Gave it another chance though and yet again, poor service. Employee Junieanna B. Might be ruder than the last girl I dealt with here. Would like to see some friendly service once in awhile but have yet to experience that here. $32.49 is a good price to pay for good food..but poor service can ruin a meal.
Great fast food Chinese food. Love it. My favorite is the Mongolian Angus. Its very cheap so you. Can get two antres and one side. Also love the spring rolls never disappoint.. My hubby loves the orange chicken with steam rice and steam veggies . Its very clean and fresh
I absolutely love Panda Express. I cant get enough of the Orange Chicken. I could eat it every day. The one near my house switched from pepsi products to coke products but that may just be that location. The only issue i have had is when going through the drive through they have forgotten to add the side cup of sweet and sour sauce for my side items. And i wish they would tell you when you are ordering if they are out of something but cooking more and you would have to wait. Instead they wait till you get to the window to tell you. (Again at the drive thru.) However, the food makes up for it. Amazing
I was very pleased with my experience! Julianna and Ariana were very helpful and made my experience one of the best! They greeted me with a smile and I was super happy with my order! A special thank you to Jose for making my order with care and greeting me just as greatly! A great experience overall!
Good evening,Visited this location on 9/1/2018.I am visually impaired and carry a white cane. The manager turned off the dining room lights at 8:30 pm. We told them to turn them back on. They turned them off again at 8:40 pm. I got and asked when they close. The manager said “9pm”. I told her then the lights in the dining room stay on until 9pm.Your store manager does not care about their customers.
The girl Brittany is very rude she wasnt wearing a mask but was asking my friend to pull hers over her nose then she got mad because we asked for the fresh batch that was about to come out, she started to yell at her coworkers asking how long. do nothing spend your money here it’s not worth it
The service at this Location is terrible. I love Panda Express but not this one. The food is always old and their is usually a wait for the food you want. On a few other occasions I went in to order and they told me they werent open even though the hours on the door said they were open. I will never go back to this location. I strongly urge you to stay away.
Staff was friendly but seemed like they were in too much of a hurry to leave, to worry about the quality of the food. Fried rice, more like half fried rice with chunks of egg the size of golf balls. Rice practically still white. I got four heaping spoonfuls of the rice but only half a scoop of my “entree”. Asked if I could get less rice, was told I would have to pay 1.25 for more meat that I didnt even get. My egg roll, instead of being put separately, so it wouldn’t get soggy, was literally smashed inside of my to go bowl on top of my sauce covered steak. By the time I got home, it completely fell apart, inedible. Chicken tastes old, like it’s been sitting out for hours and rice is hard. Wouldn’t go there in the evening again. Disappointed to say the least.
The food was fine but the girl that was barking out orders to the staff was rude to us and very rude to her employees. It wasnt even 8:30 pm yet and she had them turn the lights out, lock the doors, clean the bathroom, flip the chairs. I felt bad for the other employees. A man in the drive thru came inside because received the wrong order. She didnt apologize but hollered to the back that the order was wrong and took her time in making it right. She is a very bad representation to the business and is sending business away. I saw a lady wait for a long time and finally get waited on but food that she requested was not prepared. She probably would have stayed to wait the 5 minutes it took to make it but she was obviously irritated at the workers attitude.
The last 4 times i went the orange chicken was hard as a rock today it had like no sauce on it and it actually broke my tooth, also the chow mein was super old and cold. The worst place Ive ever been will not be back again ever. Which is sad because when they first opened it was the best place ever.
Don’t even deserve one star . Worst service ever . Have them remame my food twice charge me for one of them. And on the second attempt didn’t put any sauce on my beef and broccoli love paying $20 for steam broccoli and beef. And when confronted the manager about it and said nothing they could do not my problem
Food was great!!! Service was ok... I just didnt like the white male in black uniform approach to a problem that clearly his coworkers where a little confused with my order. He must of been having a bad day and had to take it out on others or maybe he just talks that way either way I didnt like his service. 5star if he was not there!!!
They put very little meat in their mushroom chicken and black pepper chicken, both are full of only pepper and onion. This is about the 5th time that it has happened. Also, when I order the grilled teriyaki chicken, they would always forget about the teriyaki in my order. Next time this happens I will go talk to the manager.
Food quality - PoorValue for money - LowDuring our trip, they were low on fried rice and they were trying to manage with the limited available quantity by reducing the amount served.I had much better experience at airport locations where there was great value for money and staff was friendly. I guess this was my first and last trip to this location.
The last three times I went to location. They did not have teriyaki and white rice was not ready. 20mins. Dont open if you dont have your food ready. They only had three items to choose from that where ready. Smh. Will not return to this location. 50/50 if they have ready what you want to order.
Both this location and the one in royal oak are just really just awful from never having white rice during prime time dinner and lunch hours to letting customers stand there while they walk around back and forth no greeting or at least letting you know they will get to you soon. Im done with these two panda express restaurants very bad management and operation. oh and also the one in royal oak on a couple of occasions didnt even have the back door open for customers? and they lock it way to early in the evening so customers have to walk around. both these locations needs alot of work!
Really, really bad. Been here twice....dont feel like once makes a pattern. First time I was there, Loooooong wait at the drive thru. But it was new, so I figured it was just growing pains. Got Beijing Beef and chow mein. Beijing Beef was tasty, but at least a third of the pieces were rock hard. I mean, unchewable rock hard. Got Chow mein....was astounded when the entire car smelled of garlic....now I like garlic...but this smelled (and ended up tasting) like it had marinated in garlic for a week. At least that means it should be moist, right? Nope. Dry, weird plastic texture. So try it again three weeks later, hope theyve got the kinks ironed out. Get in line at the drive through at 6:50....7:08 the first car moves up, and luckily they left a spot in the drive through trap curb so I can get the heck out of there. Was so looking forward to Chinese drive-thru on the way home as they built this.....never again.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU EAT This was seriously the worst experience I’ve ever had it’s nothing about the restaurant chain the employees here are half challenged and seriously are nearly incapable of preforming there job I walked in only to be ignored because my order that was a supposed to be ready a half hour ago was not even cooked because they had a full drive through people honking and driving off almost like they were not even working either the manager is nearly blind to all that the workers do or the manager is equally as incapable I was upset about my food not being ready only to have them start to serve it for me and for some reason every plate she dished up she walked around the corner to close the lid figured she was spitting in my food said forget about it and give me a refund continued asking to confirm they refunded it so I could leave they said nothing just ignored me I asked for a receipt showing they refunded it they said nothing only for me to have to send another person in to attempt to understand the situation the employees preach about masks and won’t even walk an order outside when they can’t clear there own drive through and the cooks don’t wear the masks over there nose and are sneezing like they have allergies HEALTH HAZARD
Food not so good Chow Mein was undercooked, more Broccoli than Beef in the Beef and Brocolli I order,Cream Cheese Rangoons Disgusting not to mention cashier didnt give let me know I left my change. It was only 1.00 but still not good customer service.I will stick with Great Lakes Crossing Mall location they are better.
Ok so the food was ok as in decent cuz i was starving but the guy thats gay fixed the food he is horrible bad attitude cuz thier problem an then he goes to clean a table for a couple with a wet rag he cleans it go back an serve a whole line of costumers with out washing his hands and yet he still havent n dont even have on gloves like the young lady here smh all bad got to step it up and dont have a name tag either ooooohhhh his name is troy bad server

2022-04-20Waited for 8 minutes at the counter while workers serviced the drive thru window and barely acknowledged that there was a line forming. One guy actually said, I would take your order but I am clocked out while filling takeout dishes with food. The excuse was that they were counting the drawer. Seems like orders could be taken while they count. Food was good, as expected for fast food. Warm but not hot when I got mine.

2022-06-27I generally like Panda 🐼 Express, this visit at this location (first time there) was unacceptable. I ordered Broccoli 🥦 Beef. There was one ok size piece of beef and a couple little, and I mean little. I took a picture to document the lack of beef. I went through the drive thru, if I ate inside, I would have taken it to show a manager. There was lots of 🥦. The food was warm and the staff was friendly.

2022-01-17I ordered the honey shrimp with lo mein. The batter was only on one shrimp and no batter on the rest of the shrimp. Also, there was very little lo mein and a lot of lettuce. First and last time dining here. I will not be back.

2022-05-27They have a great variety of dishes here, and you get quite the amount of food for what you pay. The staff was great, and the food was delicious! Their black pepper angus steak was amazing! Im always excited to come here for that in particular. Their fried rice is also very good! Great experience.

2022-06-07Lo mein had hardly any noodles; it was mostly cabbage. Way too much cabbage! Ordered Green Beans And Chicken as one of the entree choices for the Family Feast. They should call it Green Beans with a Hint of Chicken. The container was packed with beans and you really had to hunt for any chicken. Chicken egg rolls I ordered were just more....cabbage. Very disappointed. Havent had Panda Express for a couple of years, and now Im reminded why. Paid nearly $40 for what was mostly a huge pile of green beans and cabbage.

2022-07-22Love this location, food is always fresh and employees are friendly. Highly recommend ordering on the app or on the website to get your food quicker. For a healthy swap, try super greens instead of rice or chow mein, or at least do half super greens/half other side.

2022-08-05I love Panda express. Every location i went in utah was good quality; however, i recently moved here and this location disappointed me twice. Rangoons are overcooked(leaving no creamcheese inside), the quality of frying orange chicken is really bad( not crunchy., very oily and thick), Rice is also overcooked. The employees making the plates are nice though. I wished this is read and quality improve otherwise i wont go back :(

2021-07-07This is the second time we have order from this location and each time we have been disappointed. Order wok-seared steak/no shrimp stir fry over white rice. Had minimal amount of beef( wasnt expecting large amount) however more than 5 small pieces? That was buried under white rice that was extremely over cooked and mushy. Wife order honey walnut shrimp over noodle chow mein. The noodles were completely dry and unedible. She threw it out before I could take a pic. We have had Panda Express in many other city locations and have had a satisfying and wonderful experience. However this location has disappointed us on 2 separate occasions. Hopefully management will get more assertive for staff to follow food preparation instructions and life span freshness of sides. Consistency is the key to creating revenue longevity in the food industry.

2022-05-25This Panda Express has really gone downhill in the last 12 months or so. Tastes like a cheaper quality food and much more greasy. Also the portions are smaller, substituted with noodles and greens.

2022-07-06Thieves.....always check what your order, this particular restaurant not recommended!
