Comment: Had a bad experience yesterday, went to look at a vehicle, walked around and no one came to help us. We had to go find the manager inside in his office. Finally went on the test drive and did not like the vehicle the salesman Daniel takes us inside which was weird, puts us in the back at a desk where he said he was going to start the finance process. I told him several times we did not the like the vehicle and he still kept proceeding in his computer. I explained it one last time more firmly that we were not interested in that vehicle. I asked about my trade and we were left alone in the back for over 20 mins and we finally just left. No one said anything or tried to help us as we walked out. Very poor service and we will never go back and very disappointed how we were treated.

Only two of those dealers told me the truth about bottom line dollars, and this is the only dealer that came through.When I buy a new vehicle, I create a relationship that is going to last at least a decade. Chino Hills Ford is the only place I will go for probably 10 years or more.The Superstar of the day here was my sales rep, Ovi Lugo. Everything he said to me was the truth. Even though the dealership is over eighty miles away from my home, this is the place I will go from now on. When it came to the truck, other places led me along, made me drive a couple of hundred miles and didnt come through. But when Ovi said he would hold the keys, he did. When he said finance would call me, they did. When they said go ahead and drive up the truck is yours, it was.I also want to thank Moe, Sheryl, Jesse, Blake, and Christian. Everybody there came through, did exactly what they said they would do, and treated me like a long-time friend. It was very refreshing, and probably the best experience Ive ever had purchasing a vehicle.If you want a zero pressure purchasing experience where people tell you the truth and actually work with you to get a price and payment that are right for you, this is the place to go.

Comment: Waited almost two years for a Ford Maverick, special ordered it last August(23) through Ford website. Picked Chino Hills Ford as my dealer to ship it to. It finally shipped in March(24) to dealer. Dealer never contacted us, and they sold it (which likely was their plan so they could mark it up). They didn’t even seem to care when I called wondering about its status. They literally said, “Just come on down and look at other things we have available - we don’t have what you ordered but, you should be able to find something you like.”In the late nineties I had a Ford Explore for 3 years that required $9k in warranty repairs. Swore I’d never buy a Ford again. But after 24 years we gave it another shot, only to be disappointed again. So, thanks to my overall experience with this dealer, and zero response from corporate. I will forever and always never consider a Ford product again.UPDATE: Since I can’t respond directly to the dealership response below - I will do so as an update.1. Why is the onus on me to reach out to you? You should have my contact information. You’d have thought that might have been job one when the Maverick arrived at your dealer.2. If it makes you feel better, it turns out this isn’t just an issue at your dealer. A neighbor told the same story about their Maverick order from a Ford dealer in Norco. Hate to think it’s the method of operation at all Ford dealers.3. Don’t waste your energy on me, you’ve already lost me as a customer. I can’t even imagine how you could make it right, because you aren’t going to lose money trying. Instead, spend your time with Brianna (who responded to my Yelp review, along with Sheryl (whom she mentioned), and with anyone else necessary and come up with a plan to insure the next customer that waits 8 months for their special order vehicle actually receives a call, is welcomed when they arrive to pick it up, and is thanked for their purchase. This will be important moving forward, because what I’ll continue to do is share my experience with anyone and everyone looking to purchase a Ford.

Comment: My diesel would not regenerate. When I asked why it wasn’t generating I was told to replace the DPF filter for $5,000 + parts. I again asked explicitly why it wasn’t regenerating as replacing the dirty filter with a new on would only result in another dirty filter. I tried to explain this was an effect to a cause and I needed to know the cause. Your dealership gave me a handful of other items that needed to be changed, one of these, the air filter.Because your dealership couldn’t answer this basic question, I decided to have the dealership change the exhaust sensors and thermostat (codes the truck was throwing) and I would pick it up. Over $800 later I picked up my truck disappointed in your dealership, to say the least. The truck not being washed was one thing. But my truck coming out without the proper air pressure in the tires was something else. Your mechanics did an inspection looking at my air filter (and wanted to bill one hour of labor to replace) but neglected to check air pressure?! When I got home to change my own air filter, I was amazed to see your mechanic DID NOT CLOSE THE AIR BOX to my air filter.I took the truck to a local mechanic and they called me and asked me if Ford did the work I told them ford did. Well, they billed me for it, I replied. The shop said, well, if ford did, they didn’t clear the codes, which is weird. The shop changed a waste gate actuator, reset the code, and the truck regenerated cleaning the filter for less than Ford wanted to change a thermostat and 2 exhaust sensors.The shop wasn’t certain if the truck would not regenerate due to the waste gate, but was certain it would not regenerate without clearing the exhaust temp sensors.So, The dealership might have fixed the cause without changing the symptom, but would have never known without actually clearing the exhaust sensor codes. Too hung up on a $5,000 part.

Comment: Chino Hills Ford gave us a print out of the stcker price for a 2024 Maverick. We left a deposit of $12,000 the vehicle was $34,000. They ordered the truck it arrived 1 month later. Inspite there promises of 2 days then a week wait. When we showed up they added $17,000.00 to the price. We were shocked they explained since the car is in such high demand they were Charging $11,000.00 more than the sticker price. They removed the extra insurance that added up to $6,000.00 then reduced there additional cost of $11,000 to $10,000.00. I was just recently diagnosied with two types of cancer. I wanted my husband to have the truck promised to him. So we paid their pirate fee. Shame on them for they really take advantage.

Comment: I had to retract my previous positive review.I went in for an oil change and realized my vehicle was leaking oil after the service was performed.I had ask for them to check where the oil is coming from at a different visit. They said it was from the oil filter. They tighten the oil filter and cleaned the area.The oil kept leaking, instead of taking care of the oil issue, they performed an oil change and hey, new oil, new filter, no problem anymore right?I went in for another visit, with 33-40% oil life left, they said they checked the vehicle and no leaks anymore. But I was charged again for an oil change.This issue had been going on going on since 2021, 2-3 years now. Seems every time I had a leak, it was either a clean up and over tighten of the filter, but never a permanent solution or the main reason why it was leaking.Keep in mind, I have extended warranty that they could have easily verified for additional support and coverage.They never offered to check the vehicle while it was on the lift, only wipe and clean the oil or just simply do a complete oil change even if it didn’t need one.The response was, you can pay for a diagnostic, and we’ll see if it’s covered. Lack of experience response.I ended up taking the vehicle to a different dealer Fritts Ford in Riverside, they immediately raised the vehicle and checked the leak and replaced my filter, which was punctured from the previous oil change and the over tightening that chino hills ford had performed in response to their oil leak solution. The issue was just resolved by Fritts Ford in Riverside, the engine’s Front Cover was leaking. Front Cover was removed, cleaned and new gasket/seal was replaced, just today and covered by my extended warranty, which expires in 5 days!!!The issue was pushed off for so long, it’s bad business when it could have been resolved 3 years ago. Very disappointing, the issue could have been addressed and fixed years ago, instead of prolonging the issue, where it could have resulted in being out of the warranty period and been an out of pocket expense.It’s shame this is the closest Ford dealer, and I may have to take it elsewhere.

I justified that decision to myself in thinking that this was my young daughters car. She needed something safe and dependable and that buying it from a dealer was the best way to ensure that - boy was that idea wrong!Stay away from these guys they are as dishonest as can be.

Purchased tires at Tustin Ford after getting an engine swap for a bad engine they didn’t warranty (even though we pointed out the noise day one). We had a side wall tire blow out a week later on the 71 fwy next to the Chino Hills ford dealer. Got the truck towed to Chino Hills ford as directed by Tustin ford. Chino Hills ford tells us there is nothing they can do and we need to have it towed to Tustin ford. Then Chino Hills ford tries to sell us a tire saying we didn’t purchase the warranty. We did purchase the protection and had to get the truck towed to Tustin Ford to get it resolved. I spoke with the manager at Chino Hills ford and he was incompetent as the service advisor Allen Morgan. After calling mutable numbers Ford took over 3 hours to get the issue straightened out. 4 hours and counting the whole ordel. Due to the location of Chino Hills ford and Tustin Ford we came out of pocket for the tow charges. California Bureau of Automotive Repair Complaint Confirmation 5DDE-N2F9WZAllen Morgan saw us waiting a couple of hours later in our truck and stated he spoke with Tustin ford and they recommended we change all 4 tires not just 2 and the tire that blew out was an old tire. All incorrect the tire that blew was the new tire but that was his attempt at resolving the issue. He just suggested we put in a complaint.Reading your response below shows ford dealerships won’t honor warranted work performed at an other ford dealership even when directed to that dealership. Your response below show the problem I was highlighting.

Comment: Typical dealership without anything spectacular or horrible to say. Just like all dealerships their main focus is to sell cars even if they have to lie or to manipulate. On this purchase, the sales person lied to me that the dealers discount ends today when I told him my plan was to think it overnight and most likely purchase the following day due to transportation and to arrange for a babysitter for my children. 3 weeks later the dealers discount is still available today. Then the was the manager who went over my finance, tried to sneak a $1k “gap insurance” and did not disclosed to me prior to signing until I noticed it afterward. He then just crossed it off nonchalantly. As a local resident who decided to shop with a local dealer I expected them to be somewhat honest and transparent to their customers. This experience with my purchase demonstrated why any shopper should and are willing to travel further for better deals because it appears that’s how customers are being treated regardless where they go. Not once did I negotiate the price. I paid for listed price. The least anybody can do is be transparent to their customers without being lied to. Just typical.

I wasn’t exactly sure how things were going to turn out but I had a pre approval through one of my credit card companies and I scheduled an online appointment to see a used Jeep Wrangler. After much thought and consideration and back and forth conversations, my husband and I agreed we didn’t like the Jeep. Our sales representative Maveline and her manager Andre were amazing and so patient with us. They let us take our time, go back and forth on our thoughts and ideas and when we finally decided on what we wanted Maveline and Andrew made it happens and we drove off the lot with a brand new Ford Bronco Sport.

Comment: Very frustrating dealership, have had them order upgraded brakes to come in and find out sold to another customer, and only have the basic brakes look worse after 2 months than the ones I replaced after 2 years. Quote for labor and then get *special pricing* only to have that savings added to labor. Got an extended warranty and then they have wrong info put in for payment so sitting here trying to fix another issue.Was really ready to just chalk up my experience and find a different dealer, when an employee asked me to please talk to Mr. Kirk before I left. We had a conversation and I’ll have some of these issues hopefully resolved next week. I’ll adjust rating after.UPDATE: Went back on November 7th @ 11:00 am and asked for Mr. Kirk since we had an appointment, only to be told he was in a meeting for next 1 & 1/2 Hours so I walked over to the service department to see if they had my appointment. Nope. After this series of miscommunication I am happy to say that Mr. Kirk did reach out and apologize. I understand I’m not their only customer, however we did make a follow-up appointment for the 15th to resolve this issue and also do a smog on vehicle at same time so although it wasn’t resolved today, I am confident that it will be next week.{Optimistically raising to 4 stars as I hope issues will be resolved}2nd UPDATE: Went in for smog and brake check, went smoothly and got a quote for both lower control arms and alignment that they feel contributed to the issues at hand. After grabbing extended warranty and this new work required, gonna drop almost $5500.00. Not the news I wanted, but since the new explorers only got me by 35 HP it’s still cheaper than a new vehicle payment for an ugly ST. Glad issue was resolved and am pleased that finally found the root cause. I would like to thank Mr. Kirk’s efforts to get the proper inspection that this got sorted out.

I worked with Tony and Rigo, they were both great at communicating, didn’t feel pressured, no sales tactics, very nice and very knowledgeable about the vehicle and Ford company. They setup the app for me, took some pictures, helped me find the best financing option for me under my company, and I was out of there in less than 2 hours! Highly recommend these guys and this dealership. The finance office part with Todd was lighthearted and quick as well with their super cool full digital screen desk where you sign. Comment: I did a good amount of research on the Explorer ST, which was a vehicle with many pluses vs. the competition. Once I decided I wanted to get one, then was time to figure out where to get it from. As I yelped several Ford reviews, I was surprised to see so many negatives on just about all dealers out there, but mostly related to service. Chino Hills Ford ranked average so I decided to inquire about the vehicle I wanted. Started with an over the phone sales rep and he was very informative and encouraging on working through to get to a deal. After two trips to the dealer and experiencing everyones very welcoming and super cordial approaches, the last thing left was getting to the right competitive numbers. They did work extremely well with me on this and got the deal I was very satisfied with. Made the purchase, took a couple of hours as most car buys typically do and the purchase was completed. Simply educate yourselves on what you are buying and whats worth to you. I knew exactly what I wanted and what it was worth. But beyond all that, everyone was exceptionally nice. Comment: Beware of this dealerships scam tactics. Their advertised prices are deceiving. I went through the trouble of making an appointment and driving 1.5 hours to see one of their used cars. After the test drive, I agreed to purchase the car for the advertised price, only to be blindsided by a guy named Andrew the manager, who claimed there was an extra $6,200 accessory(want it all, get it all so called package) charge on top of the price. When I pointed out that their ad did not mention accessory charges, he showed me the fine print and insisted that every dealer does this. This is utter nonsense and not something ethical dealerships engage in. They made us sit for an hour and suddenly they realize they sold the car to their grandfather!!Save yourself and try another dealership.

A lot of headaches, didnt have my truck fully fixed upon picking up, had a major fuel leak after picking up from the fuel rail pressure sensor they left loose, they pinched my USB cable inside the dash upon assembly of the interior and ruined it, missing cap on my brake fluid resevoir, along with many many other issues. Theyll never have my business again, and I will try to steer anybody I know or talk to away from them as well... definitely a piss poor experience with them...Picture is of the fuel all over my engine bay, suspension, axle and driveway...

She said they would call me later to let me know the status, but I never received a phone call that they were keeping my truck overnight. Currently I have an F-150 and a Mustang, so it was a no-brainer for me to order a new Ford truck.My coworker referred me to Chino Hills Ford after ordering his F-150 truck, which he said was an easy process where he received regular updates all the way up until delivery of the vehicle. Going into the office and placing the order seemed to be easy enough, I just chose what truck and features I wanted and the sales rep put everything together. Thats where it all went downhill.I was told 7-8 months on the order, which was not a problem as I was not in a huge rush. I was told I would receive an email confirmation of my order. I didnt get anything. I called about 5 times before I reached the person in charge of the orders (Vanessa). She assured me I was in the queue to have the order placed. I still did not receive an order confirmation. This went on for about a month, in which I was informed they had my email address incorrect (mind you, Vanessa was sending me out weekly sales inquiries). This process seemed to drag on forever. When I finally got ahold of Vanessa, she was extremely rude and told me I just had to wait. My coworker had been informed (by Ford) how the process was coming, however I STILL have not received one email from Ford. I FINALLY got another email from Vanessa stating that the vehicle should be here within a few weeks and ahead of schedule. (great right?) No. It was not ordered with the right specs, which I would have caught in the beginning had I been sent the order. If that was not enough, I was told the order would be corrected and expedited. This is where it got really bad, as I have had enough. I attempted to speak with the general manager. I was constantly told he was unavailable and then transferred off to someone else. This happened on about 10 different occasions, the last one being 7/7/23. At this point I was beyond upset. I spoke with the person I was transferred to so I could gain any information on my order. After a few minutes, I found out that Vanessa had not corrected the mistake and the order was never resubmitted.Enough is enough. I will order my truck elsewhere. Stay far away from this dealership as the failures go all the way to the top. I will be telling everyone I know to stay far away.

My truck has been in Chino Hills Ford Shop 4 times in the past month mainly for a loud rattle(like the turbo is going to detonate) when the turbo starts to build boost. Each and every time I get my truck back the same rattle is still there. They replace the turbo and the loud rattle is still there. I looked under my truck and now have a huge puddle of oil on the floor and oil dripping from the skid plates and a lovely coating underneath the truck. The sales person was very good, but didnt understand what I was asking. I wanted him to put road hazard on both of my new tires, but he said I didnt need it.I got home and called David, the Chino Hills Ford Service Department Manager and explained what happened.David agreed with me that this should have been put on my tire at the time of purchase. So, I called them on a Wednesday in hopes of purchasing the vehicle and making sure it was still available. I spoke with a few sales representatives and even got pre-approved for the car before planning to make the six and a half hour drive on Saturday. I was told that they would contact me if the vehicle was sold before Saturday. On Friday, I reached out to the sales representative I had previously spoken with, but no answer. I had to call the dealership only to find out the vehicle had been sold the previous day. As soon as I hung up the phone, I received a message from them saying the vehicle was still available. All this confusion had me frustrated, so I canceled my hotel near the area and later received another message that the vehicle had been sold. Comment: I placed an order for a Lariat Hybrid Maverick in Nov 21, and didnt get a single update from Ford or the Dealership for 16 months. After suddenly telling me my car was on its way for delivery last month, my pickup date was cancelled and pushed back several times. Eventually I was told that my car was never built and my order fell through the cracks. I checked in with my salesman every month and took his advice at every turn.I couldnt tell you if the dealership just lied to me and sold my allotment above MSRP or they just gave Ford my wrong contact information which caused me to never get a VIN, a build date, a ship date, etcI can forgive a mistake if there is an effort made to make it right, but eventually I spoke to a sales manager named Billy who complained to me about all the people buying pre-ordered Mavericks for MSRP and flipping them on Carmax for a profit and how if I got my truck he hoped Id do the right thing and not flip my truck. After finding out about my order not being built, Billy informed me of an almost identical vehicle on their lot that he could sell to me for $7500 over msrp, which apparently after the lesson in morality he had given me, was the right thing to do in his eyes to a customer that was promised a vehicle for a certain price from that dealership 16 months earlier.If youre going to order any in-demand vehicle like a Maverick, Bronco, or F150 lightning, Id highly advise ordering from any other dealership. This one is likely to mess up your order, and when the opportunity arises for them to make it right, theyll do it for only a $7500 fee.

Comment: I have been going to Chino Hills Ford for the past 4 years. My recent visit was for an engine light warning. My service writer Alan Morgan provided excellent service by keeping me posted on all aspects of the repair from beginning to end. The service was due to a wiring issue which had to be tracked down by the technician. My truck remained at the dealer for approximately two weeks as the wiring issue was sorted out one wire at a time. Alan provided me a service for a ride home and kept me posted on the progress step by step. The truck was repaired with Alan taking the time to go over the repair and what exactly needed to be done. He answered all my questions and concerns. I can honestly say that my experience has always been positive. I would recommend it.

Comment: I have purchased at least 15 different vehicles from different dealerships in my life time so far and my experience at Chino Hills Ford has been by far the worst. I spent nearly the entire day at the dealership while they seemed to use tactics to wear me down. They only reason I stuck it out was because my youngest daughter was counting on me to get her a car.When we left the dealership with the car they gave me a One Trip Permit and told me I had to register the vehicle in my state within 24 hours or else they would be fined and pass that cost on to me. I knew that could not be correct, but they insisted. My state offers a 30 day temporary registration while the paperwork gets sorted out. The dealership failed to provide the necessary paperwork even though I called countless times. Each time I called I was told the person responsible was not available and would call me back. Not even once did I receive a call back. This went on for 2 months. I ended up paying the vehicle off with the finance company so they would send me the title.

I kept looking for them to fix the issue, and they always said they had paid but the lender said they didnt receive the payment. I asked them to provide the evidence to me so i could show the lender, but they didnt like to. I checked the lender, and they told me they received the payment a month later after I sold the car. Who was telling a lie? It hurt my credit score because someone never did his job on time.

Ive bought cars in California many times but lowering the prices online and then adding $5000 flats on top on regular fees is very unfair, (so I was quoted today $11k in fees on $49k car) please make sure you will get all your numbers before get here, some people are driving many hours to get good deal. We would do it the same today. Very disappointed.

Comment: Be careful with this dealership, the price they advertise is not the price they can sell it at. The car was advertised for 18,000$ but dealer had to add 5200$ in paint protection and interior stain guard, that was not advertised to actually sell it. We called the car was available. We drove to Chino w a check in hand. We test drove the very dirty, mismatched white paint chipped hood, broken rear taillight 2019 Fusion. Decided we buy it because it was a great price, salesman had to get the manager Billy to “work on the numbers”… He came and asked us if we’d ever bought a car from them, “no we haven’t” . He said “we like to protect our cars with paint and interior protection, which has been done to the car already. It’s had 5200$ in protection.” I said “ really, have you seen the car?” He said “no”. I said “there’s no way all that work was done.” I reviewed the issues with the paint and interior. We were ready to leave and he asked us to wait, and see if he can lower the price. He can back after 10 min and dropped to 19k, we said no, we’ll pay what you advertised it for, 18k. He said “ see all that little writing under the ad on CarGurus, that lets us do this. But let me check one more time… and see if we can get to 18k”. Condescending and so dumb, he for sure knew the bottom price… He comes back after 10 min and says “nope, sorry can’t do it, I’d really like to help a teacher and nurse out, but I can’t sorry.” What a waste of time… Hopefully someone who reads this can get them to drop the actual price to 1000$ over what they advertised the car and only spend 1k over what they state the price is.

I’ve been taking my trucks to this place for the last four years for service only because I bought my trucks from other locations. However, since this location is close to my home, I take them there for service. Every time I’ve walked in the service department no one acknowledges that you’re there, even if they’re not with a customer, until they are ready to assist you. Once they decide they are ready to help you, It’s almost like they are bothered you even came in. Then they try to charge for service even though you have service included or a warrantee. If my trucks didn’t have service included, and I didn’t live so close, I would never take them there to be worked on. Their sales reviews look good and I’ve never bought from them, but I would say if you do, don’t take it there for service if you can avoid it.

My sales rep Mike informed me he could pay off my negative balance on my vehicle that was a total loss If I was to purchase a new vehicle with them. I showed him all my paper work for the total loss settlement etc. we agreed they would buy my previous loan out and I would start a new loan with them. Later on I noticed on my loan bank it still showed I had a balance left from my previous vehicle that the dealer was supposed to buy out I contacted my sales rep and notified him and he informed me that it was in the process. Weeks go by and nothing. Turns out they weren’t able to buy my loan out from the beginning. My financial advisor contacted me and informed me. Comment: First off I want to say I am a proud Ford owner and have always loved ford vehicles. The the salesmen we dealt with were great, John and Obvi & billy. I wanted to thank them for their time…the issue wasn’t the salesmen it was the financing dept. and floor manager on that day, they were a complete nightmare. We were pre-approved through our credit union beforehand & said they worked with them which was great! All of a sudden it switched & they claimed they didn’t work with them after all, so we had to go through ford. not a problem because they matched that interest rate, supposedly..Well It comes time now where I’m in the final stages of the paperwork & they want to sell me gap insurance, plus the extended warranty because they said if I purchased that they could lower my interest rate even more (which was interesting how that happened) but I declined. So they said no worries and we proceeded with the paper work. Shortly they came back and completely changed our interest rate from what we agreed upon to a way higher interest rate and said oh sorry your credit union misinformed you and gave you the wrong rate ! So now they are saying that they are going to use my credit union even though they originally told me that couldn’t go through my credit union & that it was not part of the deal because they stated they did not deal with them. Which was an absolute LIE. They kept my wife and I and our baby there for over two hours just going back and forth with numbers. When I stated originally I had a pre-approval letter from my credit union and they kept not wanting to see the letter. so now I had my credit ran again because ford agreed they would match my interest rate and yet they didn’t perform and was extremely unprofessional. It’s sad how sneaky they are and twist their words to make it seem as if the were on our side. As a long time resident of chino hills and wanting to support our local dealership this was extremely disappointing and a huge let down. They have one of the slimiest employees/managers there, and we will be taking our business elsewhere!

Comment: Service Dept. and dealership as a whole do not do what they say they are going to do. It is as if they are not happy employees there. Its just a paycheck. I took my 2022 Mach E for its first scheduled maintenance and while the vehicle was there, I also wanted them to take care of the open recall. I was told that they could not do the recall because they only have one guy certified to work on electric vehicles and that they were 5 weeks out on the next available appointment. I then proceeded to tell the service advisor to schedule me in 5 weeks out. I was told that they could not do that. I asked Why? was given no reason why. Just couldnt. I was then told that they would need to keep my vehicle 4-6 days for the recall. I asked if I would be given a loaner / rental, they simply said NO. How can you keep a customers vehicle at the price point that I paid for that long and not OFFER a loaner / rental. I proceeded to speak to a manager. He told me that what I was being told was incorrect and that he would speak to the service Dept. The manager spoke to the service dept. right away in front of me. When he was finished, the manager told me that they will be giving me a call to schedule my Mach E for the recall. NEVER heard anything. I called this manager 3 times with regards to this matter and was told that they will be calling me. Till this day I have not heard from Chino Hills Service Dept. I suggest, take your vehicle anywhere but Chino Hills Ford for service. Somewhere where they take pride in what they do and actually do what they say they are going to do.

He said he would get with Cheryl to find out the information and I have not heard back from him since.7-11-2022So update to post.Sheryl did call right away and they promptly fixed the extended warranty which was great. Due to that I was able to get the back window fixed which was under the warranty for the cable that came unattached from the glass.Bad news is they still wanted me to pay $450 for the cupholder that fell through that was defective and would not fix after I was told that was something that I would be able to get fixed.I brought up to Sheryl, Diego in service and both stuck to that I would have to pay $450 to get fixed.When I upgrade car in next few years I will probably have to look for alternate dealer unfortunately.We have purchased a car and leased a car. When I bought out the car in November the sales person sold me the extended warranty and service warranty. Per the sales person I would have bumper to bumper his words not mine and for my cup holder that fell through I would need to wait 30 days and then I could get repaired. Also the warranty would include a key once a year. He went through on his desk screen what the warranty would include and what I have is different then what he told me I would have!!! When I took the car to be repaired come to find out the sales person only did the drive train warranty. Basically I got ripped off! I have called financing twice and once spoke with Andrew with no calls back and no assistance or willing to fix the error made. I requested a call back with my options and what I need to do and have not heard anything after 2 months of trying to get this fixed!! So much for spending $100k on 2 cars.

They should also be honest about the incident and address it. The first time it happened, I got a lame excuse and nothing was done to address the problem. We ended up not purchasing a vehicle here but I wanted to leave a review anyway because it was a positive interaction. The reason we didnt buy was because of the mandatory add-ons (especially the GPS tracker) that we wouldve been required to purchase. Comment: Ive been searching for a good running car on Car guru. I was interested in a Jeep that I’ve seen online at the Chino Hills Ford dealership. One of the reps had contacted me regarding the car and stated that it was available. I was excited to go check out the car. So the next day my husband and I went to go see the car which was a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. Upon our arrival one of the reps had informed me that the car I wanted was no longer available but they had another car that was similar in which it was. I was hoping to test drive the car but they had told us they had to put something on the car which was minor and That it would be ready the next day for pick up. Since we lived pretty far away the rep had said he’ll drive the car halfway to us. So fast forward I get the car and I’ve noticed how the car shakes when I accelerate. I had notified the dealership a day or two later and they told me to bring it in. Eric had claimed that the problem was fixed I and it shouldn’t shake anymore. But unfortunately my car would still shake. I had contacted the dealership again to let them know and one of the service advisors had told me to take it to a local Jeep dealership since we lived far. After taking my vehicle to numerous of dealerships and My warranty company even came out to inspect the car. They had stated that the issue with my car happened before I had purchased the car they will not cover the repairs the original deal ship should be responsible for it and the Car dealership should’ve did a pre inspection sale and would have found the issue before selling the car. I followed up with Chino Hills Ford for a solution all I’ve gotten is promise for someone returning my calls and never getting it and a service manager telling me I was denied but he doesn’t know why..Point of this post is don’t do business hear all you will get is false promises and bad service!

Tried out the service dept for a $185 diesel oil change and they didn’t top off windshield washer fluid, didn’t top off def, I picked up my car and the time was wrong on infotainment, all my settings messed around with, had an appointment scheduled in advance that wasn’t honored, had such poor customer service, just a total mess this place is… not to mention despite Ford saying that their dealers are restricted from charging mark ups on cars, I glanced at a couple while waiting and saw $20k mark ups.

It was my first time buying a Ford and chino hills ford sure knows how to take care of their customers. Josh and his manager Eddie were great. Josh answered all my questions and I had a lot to ask. Josh knew how all the features worked on the bronco and showed me the app that works with my iwatch.I can’t recall the finance managers name but he was very nice and pressure free. I have owned Honda vehicles before but Ford and chino hill ford have made me a loyal ford customer from now on..Definitely recommend buying your Ford here.

A hard inquiry was requested from my credit report without my permission.2 Dealer add-ons were placed on the vehicle without my permission.3. I was pressured to use Ford financing by several employees.4. The one add-on I reluctantly agreed to purchase at $199 (wheel-locks) were never actually installed or provided.5. They made paying with Debit, Credit, Personal Check, Wire transfer or Cashiers Check extremely difficult. Comment: This dealership has comically awful, horrifically bad customer service. My service advisor straight up lied to me for weeks. I could give him the benefit of the doubt and say perhaps he was just negligent or misinformed, but that also does not reflect well on management/training here. Either way, I was given inaccurate information for a good four weeks — a full month. After several weeks of incorrect info, I asked to speak to the service manager and whoever that person is NEVER got in touch with me. My car was waiting on a back ordered part, so I just started calling the parts department directly for an ETA. The parts dept manager (I think his name was Robert) was the only sincere, competent person I spoke with at this dealership. The part finally comes in and the repair is done. After SEVEN WEEKS of my car sitting at this dealership, being lied to endlessly, no loaner car despite doing a recall repair, no reimbursement for ubers, no communication about the status of my car or the part from my service advisor, my car is returned to me completely filthy. (See pics) They couldn’t even run it through the automatic wash. How are they not embarrassed to return a car to a client like this?? Truly mind blowing. This dealership does not care about customer service. Period.

Long story short, from 16 they wanted to add us up to 22k and that’s not including the interest charge. I was walking out as soon as I heard that number because they promise us a flat number, then the sales manager stopped us to honor that price. Honestly I didn’t wanted to make business with them anymore because on how shady they were but my husband really liked the car and we went ahead and proceed on to buying the car.The following day we notice the car was making some weird noises and it was missing a cover for the car handle which we let them know about it. They said they have to order the part and it will take about a month! Seriously 😒 we said ok 👍🏽 cool we will wait. A month passed nothing and by the way the battery the car was completely dead and never changed it either so I had to buy a new one about $250. They took a while to give me my refund and another month to change the broken handle cover.Now the reason the battery was dead was because as I mention earlier the car would make weird noises when locking and unlocking the car. Well it was the amplifier that was damaged and was draining the battery completely.Now here we go with service. We have been going back and forth with them since late December to now (August)!!!! I don’t live close by and them wasting our only days off for not nothing is annoying!! Seriously guys, step up you communication skills.We had to call them multiple times to check if the parts were there. We had to call them to be sure they had a rental for us which apparently they never do. We had to turn back home multiple times since they had no idea if the part was there or they just didn’t remember what was wrong with the car. Like really?!?! Yolanda was in charge of our car service, guess what she didn’t do much and was useless the whole time. Everything was all good up until I got to the finance guy. Thankfully I called my mom to help me review the paperwork before signing because there were discrepancies and they wanted to charge me more than my Ford employee pricing. So if theyre willing to screw over their own employees then think twice before purchasing a car from there. I didnt sign anything until I got the correct price. So be careful. Comment: Looked for car prices online through carfax and found this 2012 Honda Accord for the price of 6999 and drove almost 2 hours to go see this car because of this price. When we got there I asked for this car and and I told them the price and they took my down payment and then when it came down to sign the contract the numbers were way higher than expected. I was very aggravated because this was not told to us before going into the contract signing room. The price difference was way too much and I kept questioning why and they told me straight out that is how they advertise, they advertise low to get customers and then once you get there the prices are not what was advertised. Well as a single mother trying to buy my college son a car to go back and forth to work the advertising price is important because I wouldnt have drove miles to get a car that I could have gotten for same price 5 mins from where I live. Long story short I was told the price difference was because they added accessories that is not optional and yet on the contract it was listed as optional purchase. The price difference after 4,000 down payment was still 11,405 from trying to buy a 6999 car. I was basically forced to take this car because my son already needed this car but I regret it. I could have bought something way nicer and newer for this price. I have tried to reach out to the finance dept after and they dont return my calls. They were so eager to take my money and now they dont even call back. No I dont recommend this dealer....

Comment: Where to start..I found a 2021 F-150 at Chino Hills Ford I liked and as I was selling mine the next day I figured I would call and see if it was still available AND before wasting my time driving down I would verify the listing price (minus taxes, and applicable fees) was accurate. George (Sales Manager) verified the listing price matched their price as well. However once we sat down and ran the numbers it didnt add up. Aghh come to find they had throw in their $5000 optional protection package. To not bore you with the back and fourth their optional package is on every vehicle and cannot be removed per George. Complete SCAM.. Regardless I needed a vehicle and we ended up working out a deal where they took it down to his cost haha. I was to come in with my approval letter from bank and X amount of cash the next day. I show back up the next day and George says lets get this going. Only to come back to the table and argue how they are losing money on the deal and I must finance through them. Awesome another 30 minutes of haggling on what was supposed to be a done deal.Fast forward. The gentleman I dealt with in finance didnt seem very happy to be working. He didnt congratulate me on my new purchase let alone smile. The only time he perked up was when he tried to sell me the extended vehicle warranty to which I politely declined. His response: You know the vehicles now days have many problems and this plan keeps you secured. So basically my brand new 2021 the vehicle I was buying is known to have problems and I shouldnt have bought a Ford. Killer sales pitch guy.They did not take any more than $3,000 on a debit card so we agreed he would have a Salesman follow me home for a check. When I arrived home I opened the garage, exited my vehicle and noticed a dent on the upper panel on the passengers side beaming off the light. I pointed the damage out to the salesman who agreed and told me Theyd take care of it no problem. Well 2 weeks later, 2 phone calls to the Salesman Michael, 1 to George, 3 Phone calls and 3 texts to Shauna (their Customer Relations GM I believe was her title) i still have no appointment or anything to really rely on. Shauna had called me to see how my experience was with Michael was which I told her was pretty good only for her to find out about the damage she was unaware of. She was very nice about getting her pictures and told me she would make sure it was taken care of and contact me Friday to schedule the at home appt for the following Wednesday. No phone call Friday, so I called her Monday and she let me know she was not in the office but would call me back ASAP. Tuesday rolled around and I sent her a message asking if she had figured out a time yet. No response. Wednesday I left a voicemail.. Im doing all the leg work on a brand new vehicle to get a dent fixed I could not see in the darkness as I left their lot. Really sad to see a dealership sell and bail. Apparently they do not care much about repeat business.Do yourself a favor and go see Airport Marina Ford. Best Ford experience i have had to date. This is my 7th Ford as a family. Chino Hills Ford by far has been the worst experience to date. Oh, and if you need Service work (in my case a Trailer Brake Control Box Installed) go see Hemborg Ford. They had me in and out in a few hours. Good Luck getting Chino Hills Ford Service Department even on the phone! I tried for 2 days.

Comment: Deceptive advertising and sales of used car prices. Chino Hills Ford ensures they advertise a popular vehicle at a lower price than surrounding dealers. Before your test drive they present the Protection Package which has been installed as an option on the vehicle. When you close the deal the price has increased $5000 due to the optional Protection Package. Theres a 500% markup on this package and its not optional, its installed. It should have been included in the advertised price. They dropped the price of the Protection Package to $2037. After 3 hours of dealing with their sales process I said I was leaving. They dropped the price again to $1625 and dropped the price of the car slightly to bring the total to match my original offer from 2 hours earlier. They had completely lost my trust and my sale. Comment: I just needed a simple oil change for my Ford Escape and filled out their form online to schedule it. Not long after I got a phone call from Gabriel about coming in to buy a Ford Escape? I was confused and told to contact the service department if I wanted to get service and that it would be wise to schedule it instead of walking in since weekends are busy. I checked my e-mail shortly after and saw a response to my service request saying they were excited by my Ford Escape inquiry, except I never inquired to buy one. I was told I could come in and test drive it which was not at all what I wanted. I filled out a service request, not a request to look at cars. I responded and told them that I had never wanted to buy a car. I filled out a form on their website to get my Ford Escape serviced, not buy one. Clearly they never read my e-mail response. When I called back to reach the service department Gabriel put me on hold 3 times in a row and kept asking me what I was calling about even though I had already told him I was trying to reach the service department. Each time he got back he acted like it was a brand new call saying hello, how can I help you after placing me on hold which was odd and annoying. Which of course he never ended up actually let me reach by telling me that they thought they might be busy. I have already got my car serviced elsewhere since they cant seem to understand wanting to schedule a simple service request. They contacted me two days later on Monday night trying to call me at 8PM asking if I wanted to come in today to look at a car. I did not pick up the phone since I don’t normally pick up unknown numbers especially at night. Also, why would I want to go at 8PM in the middle of the night? Gabriel definitely had not read my e-mail response. After not picking up, I got a text about coming in to buy a car as well as a voicemail from Gabriel. Thank you, but no thank you. I do not want to buy a Ford Escape. I already have one and if I did I highly doubt I would from this location if they can’t even understand something as simple as wanting to get an oil change. It should not be this difficult.

I could easily do the preventative and routine maintenance myself, but at the prices Chino Hills Ford offers I cant let the offer pass me by. The staff is always friendly and attentive. They have done major repairs on warranted items on my truck and I have nothing, but good things to say about my experience with that situation. Comment: Once again, the service Dept of Chino Hills Ford continues to show lack of follow-through.I came in for 3 specific reasons for repair on my 12 Explorer: Leaking fuel tank, radiator fluid leakage and the recall on the rear suspension per NHTSA. Upon arrival, all was noted on the service request write-up and $130 paid.Mid-day, I was updated that the work on the leaking would cost approx an additional $545. No mention of the other issues until I asked.Upon return, I was given little follow-up info and I had to ask specific questions about what the inspection fee determined/detected regarding the fuel tank leak. No mention of the radiator fluid leak or suspension problems until, once again, I asked. I felt as though it was rushed and observed visibly less interest in my satisfaction.. perhaps because I didnt agree to the additional $500+ of work on the fuel tank? (Incidentally, a different Ford dealer quoted me only $415 for the additional work.)Once again, this dealership only feigns interest in customer satisfaction, as long as youre paying... Comment: SHOPPING FOR A CAR? I just bought a brand new 2020 Ford Escape Titanium with all the bells and whistles. Great experience from start to finish. And anyone who knows me would agree Im a hard customer to please. But does anyone wonder what happens after the sale? This is when it counts right?Had a few issues pop up that meant I had to drop off my vehicle after only a few days. Check back to see how the Chino Hills Ford team rates on customer service. Comment: I had my vehicles rear seat fixed at Chino Hills Ford. The staff was more than helpful, and went the extra mile to make my experience great. They worked with my work schedule to make sure my car was fixed at my convenience. Repairs were done is a timely manner, and my car was ready just as I left work. Very courteous and knowledgeable attendants. Service manager ensured my issue was resolved.

She is phenomenal at her job, and she made the warranty process with my gt350 as great as it could possibly get, given the circumstances.

Comment: DO NOT GO HERE! A lot of the good reviews are by fake accounts that the employees made.They will lie to you and make up a whole new price after they work on your car.Service is TERRIBLE, they will make you wait and not even repair your car correctly. The manager and the whole staff in service are the worst people you can come across.Do yourself a favor and choose another dealership to go to. I love my Ford but I simply despise these crooks!BTW I also contacted sales for a new car....guess what....TERRIBLE!Sales manager is not a nice guy, you can definitely tell they are just selling you something for way more money.Also if you dispute a issue they will hang up the phone and think it’s ok. Sad.This place makes Ford look awful!

Comment: The employees were very helpful, friendly knowledgeable, patient, very professional and funny! We joked with each other and they made me feel very comfortable, it was like I was talking with one of my friends!! Frank, Denise and Janet were awesome! They made the whole experience very easy, they talked me through every step and were very patient!. And of course I ended up buying the car of my dreams! As long as I can remember I have always wanted a Rav4, my family is so happy for me. I have told my family and friends of the great experience that I had at Chino Hills Ford. Comment: My first review but felt like I needed to after a good experience at a dealership when you hear so many bad stories about others. The process was smooth from start to finish. Of course a lot of paperwork, but thats to be expected anywhere. Jaime was great to deal with throughout the process. Very nice, a straight shooter and clearly just an all around good guy in general. I felt good about my purchase because I did some homework and was going back and forth with another dealer on the same car and when I went back to them with what Jaime and his team quoted me he said thats actually a good price, we cant get there, Id take that deal. Of course I know they made some money, thats business, but I think thats all you can ask for in a car buying experience... to be treated well and know (or at least feel) that you got a good deal. Sorry I forgot her name but the woman in finance was great to deal with as well! Hats off and a big thanks to the team at Chino Hills Ford!

Comment: We recently took our Fusion in for a steering wheel problem. Our service rep seemed annoyed when we called to get status. He claimed he made several calls and said he left a message. We checked our phone and only found one call, which my husband couldnt answer from the dentist chair and there was NO message. The service rep was not very polite about letting us know. This is not the normal customer service we received in the past. Do I leave his name? Do I report this to the Service manager? Or do I just let this go and chalk it up to maybe him having a bad day? Therefore only 3 stars. 3/17/19The review below was from when we first purchased our vehicle and our Sales person Safeer deserved the 5 stars. I guess we cant do separate reviews so I thought Id clarify here. 3/17/19Safeer was extremely helpful in getting us into the car we wanted. He was very friendly and answered all our questions. Comment: JL was great to work with at Ford as we went through the process of custom ordering my F-350. The truck was built and ready much sooner than promised and they even delivered it to my house since my foot was broken and I can’t currently drive my new truck. A professional and easy process all the way through.

Comment: HORRIBLE experience. These guys wheeled and dealed me only to make a sale. I signed a deal on a car with a bad battery which they replaced and the engine light still came on so they had me sign a deal on a second exact vehicle, this all took hours. They let me leave with the car thinking I had a certain deal only to call me later and say that my loan could not get stretched out as far as I wanted to keep my payment lower. They asked me to resign a new contract for a shorter term, which made my payment higher that I did not want. I would have never left the dealership with the vehicle had I have known this. They will not work with the sale price now to get me closer to the agreed upon payment. This is bad business. They made a deal and now they are not honoring the deal. They have access to credit approvals and would have never let me leave the lot otherwise. They just wanted to make the deal and at my comfort and cost. I was very firm about what I wanted. These people are snakes.

Comment: My wife and I were at a different dealership ready to buy. At the last minute my wife noticed that the truck we were going to buy had a real bad paint job. As luck would have it at that same time Carlos called me about a 2018 Expiation they just got in. I told him what was happening, and he assured me if we went to see him he would get us a lower interest rate and a better payment. He was 100% right. my wife and I are unbelievably happy with the help Carlos gave us. If your reading this because you’re looking for a new car call chino hills Ford and ask for Carlos, he won’t let you down.

Comment: This is a weird story... grab a cup of coffee. Weve had a goal of buying an RV and a Ford Truck to pull it for about a year. I use a digital vision board to remind me of my goals and to provide motivation. The image with the tan trim is from my Vision board and the all white one (pearlescent) is what we bought. Our plans came together a year ahead of schedule. We were financially unprepared to make the purchases but we found a really good deal on a 2016 Gateway RV that was on close-out from the RV show and were able to buy it. I started looking for a truck and found this one on AutoTrader, along with 6 others. I dismissed all the Dodges because they were 6 cylinder and our RV is a big girl... we wanted 8. That left two and my heart was set on this very low mileage, used 2016 F-350. After we left the RV dealership we drove to just look at the two trucks - one was a 2015 but with lots of miles and lots of wear and at a slimy used car dealership with a clearly inexperienced salesman. We drove to Chino Hills Ford having alerted Carol, the Internet Sales specialist, that we were coming. Carol showed us the truck and it was exactly what we wanted - a year ahead of schedule. We had very little to put down, were upside down in our Ford Fusion and had good credit - not great. Carol got the deal put together and got us approved! Our experience from initial contact to out the door, with sales, finance, GM, and service, was terrific. I highly recommend this dealership.

The fleet manager Robert Brown was very helpful and ensured the car buying experience was as pleasant as could be. Salesman Christian was helpful in selecting the right vehicle and features and took the time to explain all models and options. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff at Chino Hills Ford.

Comment: Great experience. Really didnt expect to buy the car. They were so helpful. They had quick, informative communication. They treated me as a serious buyer. They printed all price quotes for me and worked with me to exceed my personal requirements to buy the car. They explained all the paperwork, made it very easy. They had great follow up after buying the car. They still are helpful with my many questions. Ford offers packages that I could not find with any other company. They also have the best graduate and first time buyer programs.
