Comment: The are hundred and hundreds of baby squirrels everywhere, strangely they are not at all timid walk up to you but did not jump on any tables, it felt like it was going to be a squirrel takeover soon😂🤦🏾the video does not give it justice I just refused to get any closer. The little boy and his dad were feeding them.

Comment: Took an elderly friend for a ride and we ended up at the Chula Vista Bayfront Park. I bought a bag of peanuts and we had take out from Jack In The Box so is that at the very nice picnic tables everything was very clean and well maintained. There were other people walking bicycling blankets on the grass just enjoying the view and the pretty sunny day like us. We fed the squirrels and some of the seagulls. The birds were not aggressive and waited their turn as I gave them peanuts whether youre having a picnic just want to go for a walk parking is easy and the people that go there are all very nice. I did not see any homeless at all and as I mentioned before its a very very clean area. In the distance you can see them building the hotel. You can always get back in your car drive a little farther up the street and theres the restaurant The Galley where you can have a very nice lunch

Comment: Its not a real beach area it was man made by the navy many many years ago and its made to hide the fact that it hides sandiegos former garbage dump where after many years of being under the warm waters of sandiego bay, all that garbage is now cooking and sending off toxic gases inro the atmosphere. And what the incoroorated villages dont want you to know is when any person goes into the warm waters of mission bay with an open cut or wound those gases that are being released into the atmosohere contain molecules, these molecules get into a oersons bloodsteeam through an ooen cut or wound, and kill that person. The crooked city officials refuse to put out the correct public service safety announcement which would be do not go into the waters of mission bay with an open cut or wound. Or risk of death may occure. Instead they give a standard warning which is dont go into the water after a rain. I think most people should know that one because of the wash out of lawn and garden chemicals into the storm drains. The reason why officials do not want to give a specific public service safety instructions is actually pretty selfish and simple to figure out. They dont want further lawsuits against the city and dont be fooled ladys and gentleman this goes back alot of years this city has been aware of this issue. If you have had a loved one die as a result of contaminated waters in mission bay, you need to consult attorneys imediately the time limit for filing this lawsuit is time sensitive as californias rules only allow you 2 years to go back and file for your lawsuits, officials did not want to raise suspicions as to where that string of deaths arose from, for fear of tourism stopping from coming to sandiego, home values may drop, home sales would drop rents would become much much lower than they are right now. And last everyone will want to sell their homes suddenly and quickly before the word gets out and they cant give them away.if not they may just have to walk away from their homes. Hatefull and greedy sandiego people who used to bash and punish the homeless will then be homeless no longer able to live up on that hill and look down and pass judgement upon the homeless. As now comes their turn to become homeless and have that same hate they gave to those who were homeless, now will be passed onto them for simoly being homeless. I guese that would be karma coming back arround 360 degrees. Whats your thoughts in this subject... Things that make you go Hmmm.......

Comment: A pretty little spot to relax for a bit, read a book, listen to a podcast, or have a picnic. Also a great place to bring your dog. Most everyone is mindful of the leash requirements and willing to let the dogs socialize when thats an option. The view is pretty and sunsets are gorgeous.

Comment: Very beautiful location. Facilities are limited. Great place for a hike or a walk. Facilities are better on the strand side of the bay. But the state parks charge a fee. If you can afford to drive to the strand and pay the state park fee its a better experience. You can even choose which side of the bay you want the oceanside or the Bayside.

Comment: I really enjoy this park to walk my dogs. Only con I have is sometimes theres people that bring huge dogs like pitbulls and makes it dangerous for people around the area, especially around other dogs. This past Sunday I went and there was this huge Bully (pitbull breed) wanting to rush at me because he saw me walking my dogs. The dog seemed very determined to come at me and it made me very nervous for my dogs safety and mine. He was leashed, with a huge chain but it made no difference to me, its still scary. I wish there was limits on these dogs, because there was even a family looking at the furious dog while it barked at me.

Comment: Chula Vistas Bay front park is a great place to walk and get some fresh air.The park is not congested Take a blanket and a lunch sit underneath one of their shady trees enjoy the cool breeze and views!! There are not homeless rroaming around asking for handouts pets are kept on a leash. There is J street Marina Cafe with good refreshments. Great way to get some exercise and fresh air There are icecream trucks that roam through the park. Have a cool refreshing ice cream as you enjoy the scenery and fresh vool air.

Comment: This is a nice, but small park along the eastern edge of the South Bay. You can see a number of sailboats, small yachts, etc. Theres also a view of the Coronado bridge and downtown San Diego. Because of the marina though, which allows boats access to the bay, you cant walk directly from one side of the park to the other without going away from the water towards the street.

The parking is easy and free. This is a good place to bird watch. I have seen several species of duck along with several of types of birds and even an occasional seal!

Comment: This place is awesome! Make sure you lock your doors and roll your windows up all the way. If you have a steering wheel lock, I would encourage you to use it while parked here. The first time I visited this park I was greeted by a police officer. He asked me what I was doing, I replied “I just got here I haven’t thought about it, yet”. We looked into each others eyes for 10-15 seconds and then he sped off. I’ll be back often!

San Diego has done it again, providing a multi use recreational public park.The park is well known by the local residents for providing, Estuary viewing, Bay front viewing and Picnic Tables with well maintained lawns, a Grove of mature trees, a small boat launch ramp and trailer parking and restroom facilities.Keep in mind, this is a windy area and can be cold. The power plants are gone, its clean, theres a beautiful view and a playground for the kids to play at. Comment: This park is well maintained and a great place to walk your dog(s) or relax at any time. Baggies to scoop up your dogs droppings are provided in several locations and there are multiple trash cans. Several species of birds and squirrels, a few feral cats and even skunks, (though they prefer to come out at night and will run away as you approach) can be seen at various times during the year. The park requires dogs to be on a leash, which protects both the natural wildlife and your pet. Signs are posted to not feed the wildlife and please respect that. The birds can die from the birdseed or bread some people put out everyday. There is ample parking and please do not use the spaces for the vehicle/boat trailer combos at the boat ramp.

Comment: I was a little disappointed by this park. I love the ocean, & I know its a man-made bay, but it has a very industrial feel. My friend & I took a long walk among a lot of the sidewalks & its not very clean. I think if they added a lot more plants & landscape design (xeriscape mixed in wouldnt be bad), it would look a lot better. A lot of mature trees added in would give it a totally different feel. That, together with keeping it clean, would make a big difference.

Comment: I adore this park. It is truly a place for anyone and everybody. No matter the weather, you can enjoy the beauty of the flora and fauna that inhabit the park. Furthermore, this is a great place to sit by the water, eat some lunch, or exercise. This park is pet friendly, but please keep your dog on a leash and pick up after your pet. The park provides dog waste bags and receptacles where you may dispose of your dogs waste.

Comment: This was a very nice find for us. Quiet park with plenty of parking for a Wednesday morning stroll. Not sure what parking would be on the weekends. This was definitely a park geared towards locals and not tourists, so it was nice and quiet and not over wall to wall people.There are a few picnic tables scattered throughout the area, most just feet from the shore line, a few with shade, most were in full sun to grab a nice leisurely seaside picnic with . The grounds were well kept. There is even RV parking available as well as access to the boat launch. Public restrooms are available, and there is a Harbor Police Station adjacent to the boat launch.
