Clark Park is a great park in Southwest Detroit. There are a number of walking paths throughout the park, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields and a nearby school as well nice homes facing the park and businesses nearby on Vernor Street. I really enjoy coming here year round, but especially in the winter because of the outdoor ice rink. There’s youth and families that skate here and play hockey here, and then they have drop in hockey on certain evenings. It’s about $5 to skate here and they have parking nearby as well as a locker room/changing area.
Ive passing this park for about 3 months while working... it looks great I plan on coming back...A couple of years ago I noticed the push by the city and the state to bring back (IE.) Refurbish alot of them I look forward. To doing that Michigan and this Country have alot to offer!!!

Great neighborhood park. Has become a part of the fabric of the neighborhood. Playing hockey under the lights at night and looking up at the Ambassador Bridge is truly spectacular. The staff take great care of everything. Certainly something to be proud of!

Nice place for an outdoor hockey game but no heat near the stands at all...they literally had one backyard fire pit for warmth. The score bored didnt really work....only flashed something every so often. GREAT concept...poor execution.

We had a great time celebrating Cinco de Mayo at Clark Park. No complaints about the park itself. It was relatively clean and there were lots of law enforcement surrounding. Nice for family events. I strongly support keeping families together, whether they were born here or not.

Nice but not enough trash cans. The trash cans I saw were over full.Suggestion: place small bags and more trash cans out so people can clean up after their dogs.
Where else can you go and actually visit a PARK within a neighborhood.A beautiful park with many things to do during the summer.Baseball games, free lunch for the kids during the summer, after school help, computers.During the winter ice hockey on a real ice rink.CLARK PARK IS AWESOME!!!!

Excellent local park in the Southwest Detroit community close to Mexican town nice ball fields excellent play yard for the children and a community center located right in the park also hockey in the Winter.
They do a lot of events. At the park in Mexican town.especially when they do the $5.00 each immunizations for dogs and cats my dog got his microchip 3yrs. Ago at the park and get her shots every year there.
Its nice but the riff raff had to show up people fighting and arguing in front of their kids

Theres sports like tennis fields and baseball field but theres no basketball field. There sport you can sign for such as soccer baseball, softball, tennis, etc. Most of the sports start on june except soccer.

2022-05-10Clark Park was very lovely the population was cleaning and very relaxing day. Theres beautiful murals and Mexican town as well as the park has a great history. Road work was crazy it took me three for actually 25 to 45 minutes just to ride around to get to Ford Wayne just to find out the place was closed

2022-02-09This is an incredible community space run by an organization so committed to children in the community. We have gotten involved in hockey, soccer and community events through Clark Park. I appreciate the passionate volunteers that keep these programs going.

2022-01-10Ive had better conditions in Guantanamo Bay than I had in that tent dressing up just to have my feet fall of from frost bite. The ref kept calling himself the king of interference but the only thing getting interfered with the scoreboard. I wouldnt wish these conditions on my worst enemy
