Comment: I recently had work done on my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. Paul was awesome to work with and very reasonable in pricing. Two separate jobs the first being the headliner. Exact match with OEM product and done better than new. Second was my broken drivers seat. Paul kept me apprised of seat status as we had to order stuff from a striking GM. Lol. Anyway, upon arrival job was promptly scheduled. Both jobs were completed same day and to complete satisfaction. Very highly recommended!

Comment: Thank You Paul Dunham!!!I had the best experience with Classic Touch Upholstery and owner Paul Dunham out of any automotive service-related business in my life.In short at Classic Touch Upholstery, you are treated as the most important person in the world, everything is explained to you in detail before work begins and Paul goes above and beyond to take care of his customers.My Story:I found Classic Touch Upholstery was listed as a Preferred Installer on the Robbins website along with three other shops in the Lancaster/Palmdale, CA area. I researched all four shops and chose Classic Touch Upholstery based on the reviews that I found. I live 90 miles away and needed a quality shop.I made an appointment with Paul to have a Robbins Convertible Top installed on our 1999 Miata that I had purchased. Paul had no issue that I had purchased the top. I came down a week before for an Air Bag recall at the local Jeep Dealership and had brought the box with the top for the Miata since it was a little too big to bring with me the day of the appointment. I called Paul and told him that I wanted to drop the top off at his shop and he had no problem with that so I drove by and dropped the top off.When I got to Classic Touch Upholstery on the day of the appointment, Paul went over the process of installing the top and discussed the little things like the brittleness of automotive plastics such as the push pins that hold the carpet down, etc. that will break when pulling them out. I totally understand that, our Miata has never been garaged a day in its life and the desert heat dries the plastic pieces very quickly.Paul took me to the rental car agency and dropped me off and I proceeded to go shopping before I left town. Paul called me that during the disassembly process he found that one of the plastic pieces that routes the Top Side Tension Cables through the convertible frame was broken. I came back to the shop and Paul had started calling around to various Miata vendors including Robbins the tops manufacturer and we found out that the piece was not a serviceable item as it only came installed on the frame itself which has been long discontinued. I drove back to my town as I knew that one of the wrecking yards had a couple of Miata’s still with their convertible frames. Before I could purchase a frame, I received a text with photos that Paul had already made a suitable part out of ABS and had installed it and it was now longer necessary to purchase a complete frame just to drill out the part that I needed.When I came back to pick up my Miata, Paul picked me up at the car rental agency. He went over the details of the installation and what to do with the top over the next few weeks to make sure it is keep tight while the wrinkles from storage in the box work themselves out, etc.

Comment: I had originally gone with one of their competitors but when he failed to show up at all for an appointment I made 2 weeks in advance I called Classic Touch and boy am I glad I did.We met Paul at the office and explained our situation as we are from out of town and he was able to squeeze us in as long as we could leave the car which was no problem. He also explained the situation with the old headliner which we understood.Come Monday afternoon, at the time he said he would call, he called to tell me it was done. my wife and I made the hour and a half drive and when we looked at the car we could not believe how great it looked compared before.Thank you Paul and Classic Touch Upholstery, you did a great job and saved my bacon!

Comment: Paul (owner) is the kind of a owner, that I wish all businesses that Ive dealt with over many years could be like. Very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and a all around nice person to work with. We had our 2 front seats repaired and the headliner recovered in a Chevy Tahoe. And we couldnt be happier. The price was great, and it was done very quickly. We will be bringing him our other vehicle to have some work done soon too.

Comment: Have lived in the Antelope Valley since 1992, when I first had the need to get seat repairs done. Went to this shop and Paul made the repairs needed, making my Jeep Seats look like new again. A few years later I had my Ford Explorer seats redone, and he was also able to fix the headliner, too, which helped me sell that vehicle for more than I paid for it! A chair was redone for my family that made a quality heirloom fresh again. Recently, the seat broke in my GMC Sierra-- I did not hesitate to have Classic Touch fix the seat and replace the damaged leather panels. Wow, this guy does GREAT work and always at a fair price. A trus craftsman. If you ever need any upholstery work done, this is THE place to go!

Comment: Paul was very accommodating and professional! We have a leather sectional we love and he was able to breathe new life into the back cushions and restore its appearance and comfort. Hope to get another 12 years out of it now! We are so happy with how great the whole sectional looks again! He also recovered eight of our dining room set chairs updating their look with high quality custom ordered fabric in a timeless houndstooth pattern. He made three separate trips to our home convenient to our schedule and completed the entire job right on time. We would highly recommend his services!!!

Comment: I called in at ~10am on a Monday asking what they might charge and how long it might take two upholster two seats for me. They told me I would need to come in for them to look at it. I asked what time they are open til, as I was coming 30 miles away. He said 5. I got there at 4:40 Monday afternoon and the only one there was a worker who couldn’t help me. I left the seats, and fabric so that they could look at it and give me a quote. I get a call tuesday morning from them sounding annoyed as though I was wasting there time with the following (I’m paraphrasing) - “It will be three months before I can do this, I hate doing custom projects like this, it will be 1,000 dollars”. Mind you that was just for labor for two seats. I said I would come pick the materials up. I call as I was heading down at 4:00 to verify someone would be there this time and it was an annoyed response of “yeah, we close at 5”. Had this been true I wouldn’t have to waste another hour driving down there and back and had they had the curtosy to tell me there was a 3 month backlog and they don’t do custom projects I wouldn’t have wasted the first hour driving there and back. I get there and grab my stuff. I didn’t want to exchange pleasantries or talk to them because they clearly had no regard for me as a potential customer or my time so I didn’t have anything positive to say. As I’m walking out the door the guy then says, in a confrontational tone “what’s with the attitude!?”I explain the above and rather than an apology I get “hey we have lots of happy customers and we do good work and I don’t like doing custom projects like yours”.That was my experience and If I could give negative stars I would. It sounds like they do good work but I also value customer service, commons decency, people who are at there place of business when the advertise they will be, and people who are upfront and value customers time. At minimum the don’t seem to be a good choice for anyone on any type of a schedule or for anything other than re-upholstery. I don’t commonly take the time to write negative reviews but I wish I was able to read this before driving down there and hopefully this will help someone else out from wasting there time like I did.
