My name is Ron Clary Im a 22-year veteran of the United States Army. During those 22 years I have carried various models of the M16 as well as the M4 with the associated government issue slings which did the job but just barely. While those slings were sufficient in what they were able to provide there was no issued sling that delivered everything that we needed in a sling. So obviously many of us purchased our own slings from various vendors at our own cost and a few of us even modified our existing slings that we had and some even attempted to make our own. So I believe that I could say in all assuredness that the Master Gunner sling that I just recently picked up has met and exceeded any and all requirements that I could conceivably need and or want in a sling. As far as Im concerned of all of the currently available slings on the market, the Survivor sling and all of its variants are the best slings in existence. The quality of the materials from the, what most Vets know as, 550 cord to the internal bungee cord the QD fasteners and hooks are heavy duty and top notch. The quality of the workmanship is beyond compare. One of the things that that Im impressed with besides everything Ive listed before is that on the inside of the strap there are initials. In the armor world of which I spent 22 years as a member of we dont call them just initials we call them authenticating initials. When we are asked to give our authenticating initials it is to verify the quality of our job, in other words it is our word and to a Tanker our word is our bond, and the authenticating initials on my sling are L.L. Do I know who these initials belong to, I do not, but I do know he or she is an American Veteran and I can also tell you this if I ever meet this specific veteran I owe him a beer!

They are a great set of people real honest they never mind talking to somebody and they always treat you with respect I love going in there they are just a bunch of Mean veterans they are good people they are very trustworthy. On the other hand I will always have their six
