I always get quick service and staff is very pleasant. I usually get ice cream by the half gallon so when it ends up being a little extra that wont fit in the container, they give it to me in a little bowl, instead of simply discarding it. In my book, that how you take care of things. No waste.
We whole families love this store very much. At least twice each time in the summer we are there. Delicious, the price is also affordable. One more good thing is that its neighbor store is Little Caesar, we love it as well.
BEST ice cream! They also have cakes that are made fresh in the store. Always friendly staff. The owner, Todd, is often there and scooping ice cream too! Very popular place in the summer - be prepared for a line, but it is so worth the wait. This Coldstone does events too - we used them for our daughters HS Grad party and he even brought a portable cooler to keep the ice cream in for the party. Great for Family Fun Days/Ice Cream Socials at schools/churches too!
I have been lucky enough to travel a lot and been too few Cold Stone Creamery. This place is no exception to the other one’s I been too. They all have great customer service and cleanliness. This location is very clean, it’s in a strip mall right next to Little Caesars Pizza. Parking can be a pain sometimes but it’s during lunch or dinner hours. The employees are always polite and customer service oriented.Customer Service = 10/10Cleanliness = 10/10Food = 10/10Décor = 10/10
After moving to the Rochester area my family needed to figure out where out go to location for ice cream would be. For us, ice cream as a family is one of our sacred events. After stumbling on Cold Stone we needed not look farther.The staff is always friendly and efficient. The environment is clean and inviting. And the ice cream is spot on. You can keep it simple and just select a flavor right out of the case or you can have them mix up any combination of things that your heart desires. For us, the $1 kids cup/cones are great too. A very affordable dessert or quick reward for good(ish) behavior.If youre a sucker for ice cream cakes (its okay, I am too), the cakes are great, too. Tons of options for your birthday celebration or evening in the house by yourself.
Cold stone creamery is a top notch establishment with fantastic ice cream, gorgeous cakes, friendly and welcoming staff with great service. I love coming into the store and get greeted warmly and with smiles. I love the efficiency and special care they take when serving customers. The owner has done a fabulous job at this gourmet ice cream shop.
I really appreciate all that Cold Stone Creamery has done for our school fundraising event! This store is very involved in the community, and I love that. I had a great experience working with Todd, and the ice cream is just so delicious! We cant get enough of the yummy flavors that Cold Stone offers. I recently purchased the Peanut Butter Playground cake, and it was decadent! Great service, Nice People, Yummy ice cream!!!!
Came in tonight when the open sign was on at 10:05 pm. The staff were all very courteous greeting us even after it was closing time. Both service and ice cream were great!! 5 stars to all the staff working tonight and for cold stone creamery ice cream!!
Love this Place, and so do my kids!! My boys and I ride our bikes alot, and this is the best post ride treat in town. Staff is Awesome, Owner is super cool and a great contributor to the community. By far the best cakes in the world- our personal favorite is the Chocolate Chip Cookie dough.
The ice cream is good, however I do wish that the workers would wear gloves when they prepare ice cream and wash their hands. I was there on 2-23-20 and I watched in disgust how the worker cashed out people ( i.e touching money) then went to scooping ice cream and touching the scoops after handling money. OMG GERMS!! wash your hands and then make the ice cream or have one person be the cashier while the others make ice cream WITH GLOVES ON.
Staff was extremely friendly and nice. No wait and ice cream was made exactly to order. Look forward to returning again soon.
The staff goes above and beyond at this location. We have been getting our daughters birthday cakes from this location for 4 years now. The best cakes ever and the service is outstanding. We have also had them make special theme cakes and they also do an amazing job in that department as well. SUPERB FIVE STARS to this location and STAFF!
Sort of a novelty ice cream place. This location is on par with the others Ive been too. Never have been impressed with the ice cream. Im not a fan of a bunch of stuff mixed in with my ice cream so its probably just a predisposition. If you like hard gummy worms folded into your butter pecan then give it a go....
This place is amazing! Every time you walk through the door you get greeted and treated with respect. And you cant forget about the wonderful tasting ice that is served. This is definitely the best ice cream store around with the best service.

Was made to feel like I was some kind of an enemy simply because I was not wearing a mask! They also refused to let any of their customers use their restroom. . Very unfriendly place. Never going there again.

As a loyal customer to this location, I was shocked to receive a phone call from the owner after I picked up my daughters ice cream cake. I thought he was calling because the cake was not decorated correctly or to apologize that he had a child behind the counter. Instead, he wanted to tell me that he doesnt appreciate me taking advantage of his employees by using a $3 off coupon.. At my Childrens school, Baldwin Elementary, he advertised that for every signature cake a family bought he would donate $5 to the school.After asking for clarification about what the problem was he said that he had to give that $5 out of his pocket. So why would an owner pass out coupons that advertises he will donate $5 but then call to harass a loyal costumer who spends hundreds of dollars a year.Good luck and I dont believe that the Oakland County Health Department would approve of having a child behind the counter.

2022-06-14I was looking to make a sundae bar for my daughters birthday party. Todd was super helpful and easy to work with! He made my daughters dreams come true with giving her the “pink and blue” ice cream she as looking for. I would highly recommend working with Todd!

2022-04-28I ordered a small shake and the man working there made sure to put the small in a larger cup so that the whip cream and candy peep on top would be able to fit with out having to reduce the amount of drink I got. They have great staffing and strong work ethic.

2021-06-19Perfect pit stop in summer for us. My kids and parents love the treats they can get from here. I also joined the rewards program which is great for a perk. Looking forward to trying their new flavors soon. I always get cheese cake fantasy, coffee lovers and will try another new flavor for everyone to taste in the family.

2020-04-29This store is the ONLY place I get my ice cream fix now. The owner Todd goes above and beyond for his customers, even during a crisis like this. All of their flavors are amazing and consistent, when I order my favorite (Berry Berry Good) it tastes just as good as the first time I had it. Theyre always happy to serve up a scoop and Ill continue to support this local business. THANK YOU!!

2021-09-06We ordered individual serve ice cream with freezer rental for my daughters wedding. It was a huge hit with the guests! Todd and his team were wonderful to work with. They open at 11 am on Saturday but had someone available at 10 am for pick up .Great communication, great price, great ice cream!

2019-10-09Part of Cold Stones appeal is the experience.Today, my kids and I visited and had a horribly rude employee help us. Every time my kids touched the glass, he got upset telling my 2, 4, and 6 yr old actually, that glass costs over $3000... Plus its cold and flu season... And he kept going. My kids were looking at what ice cream they wanted, they werent banging on the glass. I asked to sample 3 flavors. He was very annoyed by my small request. Then when I ordered my ice cream, he gave me WAY too much and barely mixed it. The Oreo is still whole. There was more topping (I had 3 mix-ins) than there was ice cream. You know its a bad experience when ALL the kids say I dont want to go back to that ice cream store.The ice cream that we had was good, which is the only reason Im giving a generous 3 stars.

2022-01-10Order our family of four our ice creams online. Pick up the items only to find that all we received were bowls of ice cream with barely any of the multiple items that were paid to be mixed in. I called and spoke with a very nice employee named Norah who was helping rectify the situation when Brandon, the so called manager, gets on the phone and tells me he was the one that made our order and “he knows how to make it correctly” and that I must be mistaken. He was a 100% jerk on the phone not wanting to help make it right or even apologize for it. Let’s not forget to mention that after I called and spoke to him, 23 more charges were attempted on the credit card that was used to place the order and I assure you, that is accurate to a T. Luckily the card company started blocking them as fraud.We were only trying to make sure it wasn’t an issue for any more of the customers. What a way to “manage” Brandon!!
