I simply asked if they could contact me before giving their quote to insurance, so I didnt have to deal with the situation some of these other people had, about a dissassembled car, salvaged outcome, and being in a bad situation, bc they add unnecessary things to fix and give the estimate to the insurance without the clients knowledge of what they are submitting. When I found out they submitted an insurance claim, after they agreed about contacting me first and didnt, i was upset. The acting manager Amanda is rude, and talks over you, and tries to avoke authority when it should be simple customer service. Once she learned how to calm her tone down, she tried to say there is nothing to be concerned of, only 80% to salvaged, by the way I just had minor damage to my bumpers. How would this not be of concern?! Dishonest company that adds as much as insurance allows, and as much money they can get, even if you said you only wanted 1 thing done, theyll add every little thing on the car that isnt needed and without your knowledge.After leaving a message to cancel any backorder unceccessary due bill items after already picking up my car, as i never wanted to go back to this place ever again, I had continuous calls. Amanda decided to text me about paying the balance with a credit card of $4500. She should probably know how to do her job and contact my insurance company, since she prior stated they paid it.My insurance company even agreed that their behavior through the whole process was unprofessional. Regretful I ever had to go to this place. Lesson learned.

They claim that it was like that when I dropped it off, but when they first took my car in they inspected the car for prior damage and wrote everything down. So if that were true they had to of documented. I know my vehicle was not damaged when I dropped off. So for that reason I’m not going to rate any Higher.

Comment: I took my vehicle in for an estimate. After a younge lady in her 20s drinking and driving. And practically almost hit me head on. I went into the ditch. And when I smacked that ditch at the speed I was traveling. Alot of my suspension and inner and outter tie rods front and rear. Were damaged. and my upper and lower control arms and ball joints. I never had any issues with my vehicle prior. But collison pros the front desk lady and theManger,, said that alot of my issues was because my vehicle is old and has high mileage. Her insurance paid for the work to be done. But collison pros. Failed to due a full inspection. They would have caught the driver and passenger upper ball joint damaged. But they only put a faulty lower ball joint in. Due to there lack of experience. What happened to me just 5-6months after there work on my vehicle. I had to replace out of my pocket alot of things. I had my vehicle back for a week. After getting it back from collison pros. And my vehicle was down for 3 1/2 months. This is not ok. They are very rude and disrespectful. And very very judgmental to poor people.who do not drive teslas. Ima very disappointed.

But the lady that works there named Krystal had a bad attitude like if it was my fault. They had it for another 3 weeks. With no phone call to let me know how it was going on. Finally pick it up and one of sensor is out so they dont want to replace it. Even though it was not broken before I took it there. I am not happy with Colision Pros. I will not recommend them to anyone else. I usually take it to wittmeier Colision center because they dont make a fuss about anything that is wrong with the truck.

They were able to check everything over and make sure to was safe to drive. Like i said we had to wait on parts, but once the parts came in and we got the repair scheduled they had the car done in 1 afternoon. Will definitely take my car back if ever needed.

And they replaced the driver side door, and the rear drivers side door along with the drivers side mirror. And the paint job was spot on. The staff were very professional to begin with. Comment: Owning a Tesla is an experience and finding a certified Tesla body shop for repairs is another experience. From taking pictures of the damage and sending them to the shop to get a preliminary estimate was another new experience. Our choices were Oregon or Sacramento and thankfully Chico had what we needed. The preliminary estimate was far greater than the actual estimate which we were relieved of and the manner in which they handled everything from beginning to end was top notch and the work they performed was the same. Professional and timely we had our car back in no time at all; definitely a five star business!!!

Comment: Truthfully, I’d go to them for anything BUT the service I got. I was in an accident and this was the place the person who hit me’s insurance sent me to. They make everything quick and easy, but the way they diagnosed my car had me MORTIFIED. My front was squished in, so in order to check everything out, they took apart my whole front. I know my lights were working, my car was drivable, but at that point, keeping my car as a salvage title was not even an option. I was so mad, because i would have even invented the money in that car to fix it but I couldn’t even use it to drive to get to work. I even asked if they could put it back together and the girl that was showing me the car just gave me attitude about it. I just took the settlement and left it at that. I do miss that car. They not only fixed my car, but fixed my sanity when I came to them panicked. I was highly impressed by their professionalism and cool heads despite the external pressures from the supply chain, Allstates screwed up paperwork, and the entire chaotic world. What should have taken only 3 days took 3 weeks. I believe anywhere a person goes for any type of repair or work to be done on their vehicle you are going to run into this problem. The shipping problems are a reality however heaven forbid if we ever need a body shop again we will choose Chico Collision Pros. You cant beat their professionalism anywhere! Comment: I’m not the type of person to do a review. But this is the one time that I feel I want to. My sister had a hit and run on August. This was a pretty major fix so that I understand. The staff is nice and friendly. Very professional. My problem with them is toward the end. They told us that it would be a couple week fix (end of august) After almost 3 months or so in, I couldn’t take it anymore so I started calling for an update on the car once a week. Just to see where they are at in the process and when they think it will be ready. Which I feel bad truly, but after 2-3 months delayed I felt like they might’ve forgot about my sister’s car. Well, we got the car after about 3 months in (Mid-November) and this is the result in picture. Called them and they said we rushed them and to take it in but they will have to double check it first because the paint job might not have been part of the accident. I never rushed them, that’s why it took me about 3 months in for me to start calling them. I’m just disappointed at the work and how they took care of the problem at the end.

The lady on the phone informed me they washed and buffed my car after it was done, even told me maybe they should have changed the pad before if it looks scratched. I had my dad pick it up for me so I didn’t see my car until dark. I called immediately after and left a message regarding my car. They had me bring it back and told me they will not take responsibility for it since they only washed my bumper, yet was told prior they wash and buff the whole car. Needles to say they were rude and I’ll be taking my car to another body shop for a second opinion on these scratches. The manager even tried to say that I must have buffed it myself. That place is a joke! Literally my entire car top to bottom has these circular scratches on it. Even the black around my doors.

I didnt show up until Monday morning after working a long 12 hour graveyard shift just for them to tell me that my car wasnt even ready. They told me it will be ready on Tuesday morning. I called in the morning, I was told it wasnt going to be ready until Tuesday 5pm. I picked up my car late Tuesday night then they handed me the keys to the wrong car, a week went by and I noticed my license plate was missing. Comment: So I was backed into by someone and was sent here by their insurance to replace my drivers side headlight. First of all, they kept my car a week longer than they told me they would need it, supposedly because these idiots sent the parts to their HQ instead of their shop. They replaced my headlight with what looks like a junkyard fix. Looks worse than my busted light. The mounting was not repaired so the light is slightly crooked compared to the passenger side. On top of all of that my cars battery is dead as I get in the car to take it home so they had to jump me. Seriously the worst auto experience Ive had. Not to mention they charged twice as much for the cost of one headlight when I could have done both headlights myself for half the price they charged for one. Highly recommend never going here and I hope people read this.

Comment: Have had several vehicles repaired here. Service was spot on each time which is why Ive always come back when a vehicle needed repairs. Last time around though was not as smooth as previous experiences, there were a few bumps that made the process less than desirable. My reason for leaving 5 stars was how those hiccups were handled. Being in the service industry for over 2 decades I know that things will go wrong at times, but the most important thing is how those issues are resolved. In this instance they were handled quickly & professionally; and it was very much appreciated.

Comment: Heather and the claims handling people are great. I did have to wait an extra week or so with the holidays and a defective part being delivered and re ordered. When I did pick it up a few little things werent done right so they had to keep it over the weekend but they got me a rental quickly and took care of it. The car looks good. Im guessing with body work you should give them/yourself some leeway with the estimated time to repair. Nothing is engraved in stone. All in all, Id recommend collision pros to friends and family.

Comment: Nice helpful up front staff. Repaired issues with left/right electric windows perfectly and sealed broken sunroof so it would not leak.However, door handle stuck after they were done. When I came back I was told it was a “non-standard part” that had been shaved down so they could not do anything. Well, they were right it has been shaved down but as it was the same part on other door and “holding clips” fit perfectly I have a hard time believing the part is non-standard. Regardless, I expect the door to be returned in the same condition I left it in, regardless if parts are standard or not. However, when the repair person returned vehicle he had fixed the issue even though I was told they would not. Tempted to give them4 stars, but since what you do matters more than what you say, I’ve given them 5 stars.
