This quaint well stocked store is s treasure trove of useful items. Run by and mainly for Amish people the supplies run the gamut from hard to find kitchen utensils to farm equipment. They have musical movement clocks, rechargeable flashlights, canning supplies, dishes, wasp catchers, bird houses, Amish made lawn chairs and, animal feed but my favorite thing to shop for are kitchen gadgets and things I remember my grandma using.
Locals call this place the Amish Wall Mart. They have doubled their inventory since I was there last fall. Today I bought a wooden alphabet puzzle for my grandson, some containers for freezing fruit, seam rippers, mini cup cake liners, and other miscellaneous cooking items , sewing, and essential oils. They have hand tools, cast iron pans, canning equipment, and so much more. It’s worth the trip. You can check on the internet to find other Amish stores in the area and make it a day.
An Amish- owned business that is a treasure trove of - well, lots of things: hardware, kitchenware, toys and games, camping equipment, canning supplies, beekeeping supplies, books on the Amish and Mennonite communities and books on self- sufficient living, herbal medicines...lots of stuff. Not a lot of Amish-made items, but some, like baskets and soaps..Can be very busy on Saturdays. Pro tip: Thursdays tend to be wedding/ visiting days in the Amish community, so this and other Amish businesses in the area will be closed; they are also closed on Sundaya.
Find ALL SORTS of kitchen items - cherry pit remover, meatball makers, canning supplies, country family cookbooks, old fashioned toys, cat monopoly, John Deere monopoly games, bait, feed, folk remedies, tinctures, Amish clothing, tools, boots, building supplies! -Description contributed by Mom

2019-10-15One of a kind general store owned by and marketed to the area Amish families. Heat and lights are powered by propane and generator exclusive. If in the area you must stop in and browse!Propane refrigerators, coffee pots, lighting along with many battery powered items. Vast inventory of canning, food preserving, butter making supplies.

2017-08-18A must see. This is an Amish owned general store for the Amish and the English. They have a culture that is to be respected. Dont be the superficial visitor who belittles their chosen life style. Simplicity has its virtues.Living off the grid requires a lot of ingenuity, these guys and ladies have solved many common day problems and the tools to do that are in this store. This is not where you buy their quality jams and blankets this is where they buy the tools and supplies. Not cheap but they have a little of everything.

2018-02-06Nice country store with many hard to find and unique items. Merchandise might be a bit more expensive than the big box stores but you get what you pay for and everything seems to be good quality. Definitely worth stopping and checking it out if your in the area or in need of something specific that you would expect an Amish store would carry.
