First time coming here with my mom and sister. Reasonable price.. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. They have free breakfast! Indoor pool.. The location is perfect, close to the mall, restaurants, and stores. 15 minutes from Frankenmuth. 5 minutes from the Castle museum. Highly recommended!
Positive: It¿s the best value in Saginaw. I usually stay at Springhill Suites but, the cleanliness there has gone downhill and they don¿t repair simple things. I¿ve stayed at comfort suites for eight nights in total and I¿m happy with it. It¿s priced Negative: Breakfast and coffee isn¿t great but, it¿s basically the same as Springhill Suites so it is what it is. I¿m disappointed the pool hasn¿t been open but, most of the hotels didn¿t maintain their pools during COVID.
Positive: Absolutely nothing! Negative: Grounds were not taken care of, pool out of service for repair for months before we arrived. Rooms left open all day and night with different people coming in and out. Strong smell of marijuana in the hallways. Outside door left open. Did not feel safe...
Positive: The staff. Very friendly and tried to be accommodating. Negative: Our room did not have hot water, the pool was not listed as closed when booking, and the room we were moved to did not feel like the heat worked. Could feel cold air coming through the wall. When our trip was extended we opted to change hotels
Terrible. I dont know if these other reviews are a prank, but this place is disgusting. Grease stains all over the furniture...bathroom and mirrors look like they MIGHT have been wiped with a dirty rag. I left a can of Coke out on the desk overnight to wake up to it covered in bugs! My wife and I are currently packing up and getting out of here! Google should allow ZERO stars...no way they deserve 1 star.
Positive: Very friendly staff, room was clean, location was great, breakfast was provided. Negative: Pool was closed. Would have liked more variety (like potatoes because my traveling partner is vegetarian). While we didnt experience any noise, the doors slammed really hard so I would think if the hotel was busy it would have been difficult to sleep.
I’m still here but I’m to nice to say anything to the front desk this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at I made plans to spend my birthday with my family by the pool but when I got there the pool was down then was told I could go across the street to use their pool mind you it 12 degrees outside I was told I couldn’t have more then 4 people here and not be to loud then went to get on the elevator ha that was broke had to use the stairs with all of my stuff then I canceled all my plans thinking I’ll just stay here and enjoy a relaxing weekend to myself however there was kids running up and down the hallway all night screaming waking me up at 10pm for the price I paid to stay here this is just crazy I will never be staying here again the only reason I didn’t cancel the stay was because the website said there is a cancellation fee and this place isn’t getting anymore of my money
Positive: Staff was really helpful in trying to solve the issue and accommodate us. Breakfast was hot and good. Negative: The pool was closed for maintenance. Also, we reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch since my mother in law was with us, but there was no pull out couch and no other rooms available. This really affected my stay.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Conveniently located in walking distance to restaurants and shopping for the warmer months. The staff are always great and accommodating. I always stay at this location when visiting family in the area. Its a great hotel with fair affordable room prices
This is the first review I have ever made on a hotel. Our stay was a horrible experience. Walked into the room with heavy cigarette smell. While laying down, we noticed a plastic bag hanging on the ceiling. Turns out, the bag was covering the smoke detector. Then, the bathroom was not cleaned: almost used up toilet paper and used soap left on the bath tub. Called front desk for more toiletries using our own phones as the room phone didn’t work. No one brought up anything after calling them 3 times. We went downstairs to grab our own supplies. No customer service was given or effort to move us elsewhere. Horrible horrible stay. Will never stay here again. Not worth the money we paid for. Stay elsewhere.
Wasnt a patron of the hotel, but a potential employee. Was scheduled for an interview, get to the interview ....the manager who emailed me for the job is on vacation. No one had any knowledge of me being scheduled for an interview. Because of this reason, I was told I had the job. That if I didnt receive an email for me to accept the job within 5 days, to call. The manager that told me I was hired gave me her personal number. I called.....the number wasnt or isnt in service. So I called the hotel asking for both managers for three days in a row. The response I got: they arent available....theyre in a meeting.....they should be here shortly....Ive even emailed the manager that set my interview twice. No response. I really dont even know what to say... but claim they are very short staffed on housekeeping
Leaving a review mostly because there are so many bad ones for ridiculous reasons. We had a great deal on our room, everything was clean, staff was super friendly and the room was nice and quiet. My only grievance is that the blackout curtains don’t cover the whole window (just sheer curtains) so we couldn’t sleep in too late. The breakfast was great too!
My stay at the Comfort Suites was excellent. The beds are extremely comfortable. They supplied all the amenities that I needed, including the continental breakfast in the morning. The quietness of the Hotel made my stay even more pleasing. The location is excellent, the restaurants and stores are within a 5 minute driving distance or within walking distance.
Made reservation online. Drove four hours in from out of town arriving late and was told I had no room available. OK, understandable, where will I be comped at local hotels? Given a sheet of paper with three hotels and phone numbers and I was told they called me earlier in the day and I am on my own to find a hotel. Odd thing was they never called me (checked my phone log) and the other families affected by the lack of available rooms at the basketball tournament had rooms comped for first night at local hotels. Not really sure why I was treated differently, but it was completely unacceptable.
This property is having problems. our room was clean and in good condition, but there were no towels, and no elite gift in our room. no one on staff except 1 front desk clerk on a Friday night when they were full. pool out of order. Ice machine broken ( 1 that I could find)for a 3 story property) and leaking on to the carpet. had to go to desk for towels and ice. coffee pot was missing the tray that holds the coffee. so it was useless. the young man at the desk was helpful and doing his best
Booked this hotel for its advertised breakfast and pool, upon checking in at 1am after a 6 hour drive we were told the pool was closed due to covid-19. It was not noted online anywhere the pool was closed or that it may be closed! We then were further disappointed at the breakfast offerings, oatmeal and cereal bars, again nothing posted on their website stating anything about possible changes or substitutions being made. Again the whole reason we booked here was for the pool and breakfast. Totally a bait and switch scam, not to mention the lack luster room. Moving on and trying to make the best of it we stayed, my wife used the iron on one of her shirts which was a mistake, stained her shirt. Fresh linens were not brought but we had to ask the front desk for what we needed. Lastly, the room was never cleaned while we were there. I just happened to notice that other guests resorted to pilling their trash in the hallway so I did as well. Again none of this new procedure was explained to us prior or upon check in. I am only giving them 2 stars because the front desk staff were kind and helpful. Do your research and book somewhere else, we will not stay at Comfort again!
I was excited as the reviews were so good but will never be staying here again Front desk staff very nice! But room was DISGUSTING toenails everywhere, little black hairs all over ALL our towels, advil pill under the bed along with several popcorn kernels. Sheets were disgusting. I felt absolutely gross staying in our room. Immediately came home and did laundry and took a long shower. Absolutely disgusting . Wouldnt recommend.
Positive: Mattress was comfortable but that was it. Negative: There was green mold on the ceiling above the air conditioner. There was dried blood on the comforter. Water dripped from the ceiling all night long. The shower had no ledge to stop water from flowing all into the floor. Was not a good stay.
Absolutly horrible stay here and i think it was a fluke because ive stayed here before but it wasnt this bad but the fact that it was this bad even once makes me give a bad review the couch cushions had marks from salt on dog paws or something over the entire thing and dog fur on the other side when i opened up the pull out couch there was a massive rust stain on the mattress and when i showered the water didnt drain fast enough so the tub started to fill up and there were shavings from a prior person that stayed in the same room and the water not draining isnt that big a deal its the shaving bc fixing drainage can take time but the shaving the dog hair and mark just mean this was now where near cleaned anywhere that comply with safety regulations.
They follow the rules pretty strictly. If youre having an employee stay here make sure you use their name for the reservation and that they have a company card. They serve hot breakfast here, self serve like the before times. Coffee was on the lower end, kinda burnt/overly acidic.
Very friendly staff I had to check out a day early because my son was in the icu. The lady working front desk was very understanding and gave me refund on my 3rd night stay since we had to check out. I left my sons shoes in the hotel because I was in a hurry to get back to the hospital with son which are expensive shoes. They called to let know and said they would ship them back to us since we were back in our hometown before we realized it. Definitely the friendliest, honest hotel staff Ive dealt with. Rooms are always clean and they are always accommodating.
This Comfort Suites exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was pretty standard- waffles, eggs, cereal, yogurt, etc. The carpet was very dirty, however the General Manager explained that the hotel will be undergoing a complete renovation beginning August 2019. My only real issue was the parking lot. It was too dark, too small, and the spaces were very narrow. Overall, the proximity of the hotel to area attractions, interstate, restaurants and shopping makes this a great place to stay in Saginaw.
Was honestly very pleased and pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Was very modern inside, staff was friendly, the room was gorgeous, and most importantly the beds were AMAZING! I’ve honestly never slept in such a comfortable hotel bed. My husband and I were both impressed by the comfort and the comfort of the pillows and blankets. Seriously such a comfortable bed in every way! Would definitely stay here again if we have to go to the area.
The stay was fine. However, someone at the front desk kept my credit card info and manually input almost $400 of charges. Its been 5 weeks with no resolution from them. I received an email from Michelle at the hotel showing what was supposed to be credited back, but it was never processed. Thank God my credit card company is taking care of it. Stay away!
I stayed here two nights to visit my grandma in hospice. Because of that, its an extremely emotional time. This was perfect..... great service, great health and safety measures, and gorgeous rooms. The beds are perfect (which is hard, because my husband preferred firm and I like soft). My only complaint is that the tubs are very small..... but the showers water pressure made up for that.
The front desk associate was very polite and got us checked in promptly. Upon entering the room I seen a bag of trash laying in the center of the bathroom floor, shower curtain hung over the rod and empty bottles in the tub still. The beds were very sloppily made. The front desk gave us another room and apologized repeatedly. The next room was somewhat better considering I am an employee at Comfort Suites myself. The hallway smelled strongly of marijuana when we were leaving to check out. Not impressed at all.
Could have been better. Clean room. Nice amenities in room. Comfortable. Lobby was welcoming and nice to relax in. Great location in relation do shopping and restaurants. Ran out of towels in the entire hotel. Air unit did not work in fitness center. Pool did not look clean. Need more protein variety at breakfast.
Room outdated; carpet & ceiling gross but bathroom was spotless. Upon entering the room, found a huge beetle type bug climbing the wall. Disposed of him quickly enough. Breakfast was fair; the lounge it was supplied in not large enough to accommodate many people so it was over crowded. Hotel service was great... kind, courteous staff. Key cards needed resetting each day. Location fantastic; near many restaurants and local shopping
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past and everything was awesome. I understand that things are different now that Covid-19 is here but this visit was just terrible. After booking online we got to the check-in and they told us the pool/ fitness center was closed. They still charged full price even though all the amenities weren’t available. I didn’t even find anything online about them being closed otherwise I wouldn’t have packed a baiting suit or even booked a room. I also figured out later on they wouldn’t even be serving hot breakfast, but there would be a bag breakfast instead. Turns out the people who were supposed to supply the breakfast in the bag never delivered them to the hotel. So now I have to take my family out to breakfast ☹️ more cost. I had finally got to my room opened the fridge and seen there was still food in there from the last person! And on top of that I found hair on the new cups and holes ripped through the plastic around the cups. Just as I thought I could lay on a a fresh clean bed I noticed a bunch of stains on the linens of both beds, Gross!! 😒 Sorry but I was not satisfied with my visit and will reconsider staying at this motel in the future.
The front desk lady was super nice but i had to pay $190 for 2 nights and the first room me get was infested with fleas. And we didnt find out till we came back from our fishing that day so all our stuff was in that room for hours not happy. Said she was going to comp. A room for the inconvenience and never did.
Not sure if they are hurting for staff like everyone else, but had to wait apx 20 minutes before we saw anyone to check us in. Once checked in we had to be reassigned another room as the first was never cleaned after the previous guest. Additionally we never received or was offered housekeeping in during our stay.
Nice staff, but dated and sub par. Elevator needs repair. Air conditioner repeatedly came on and off all night. No supervision in pool area, kids were going wild throwing towels in the pool. Expected more from Comfort.... Breakfast could of been good but was cared for. Needs updatung and staff training, seeing staff smoking at entrance is a turn off, should never happen.
We were satisfied with the room and service. It was nice to have a comfortable room and warm welcome after a very difficult (wind/ice) drive. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We really like the pillows that were used. Saginaw is one of our travel destinations, at least once each year. Typically we stay in the summer, but business travel, and poor road conditions made this stay necessary.
First off, this hotel was inexpensive, but very good quality. The hotel itself was very easy to find. It looked really nice, both outside and inside, just like in the pictures on-line. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved that someone called up to the room very shortly after we arrived to make sure everything about the room was okay. Ive never had that happen at a hotel before. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on, and even better than my own bed at home! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was great, and there were a lot of choices. Although we didnt have time to use the pool, it looked very inviting and clean. It was a short drive to Birch Run, where we were doing our shopping. Overall, it was a great experience!!!
I specifically reserved a room for our family of 6, and stated and clarified that multiple times during my reservation process with live hotel staff. I do this intentionally because of a previous bad experience (not your chain) wherein I made such reservations only to be informed later upon check in that the hotel would only accommodate up to 4 per room. I never want that unpleasant surprise again! Anyway, it would be most helpful if the room were actually set up for 6 people when I specific that in my reservation. For instance, we did not have 6 sets of bath towels, and had to ask for extra. Additionally, two small trash cans for 6 people over 2 days is not enough. Please consider this added service (setting up room for specific guest number) in the future. People feel well cared for, remembered, and flattered when they see theyve been thoughtfully accommodated. Not to mention that there is no extra work for hotel staff or guest upon check in. Customize the experience a little!Otherwise, the hotel was clean and pleasant, if not on the tight side. I didnt care since Im not a lobby girl; your efficient use of space is what I noticed. However, the breakfast could really use a complete makeover.Great, friendly staff though!
The staff was way above average when it came to friendliness. Our room was spacious but the pillows were tiny and the room was not very clean. Centrally locates to shopping and dining is a plus. A bit confusing to locate in the mass of hotels that appear to almost share one parking lot.
Greeted by a friendly woman at the desk and checked in quickly. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the coffee hot and made early. I was disappointed to find out there was no spa, but the pool was nice. We would stay here again, it was a great value!
I travel with students, and having three beds in a room allows me to put three students in a room without having to bring in a cot. I also love the extra space in each room. You can sit and work or relax. The place is nice, and having a hot breakfast solidifies the deal for me. (I wish it had a hot-tub!) This is not my first stay here, and the staff are really helpful.
We needed a pet friendly hotel while traveling and this location fit the bill nicely. Super friendly people no matter what department we spoke with. Breakfast was fresh, varied and satisfying. The breakfast area was clean and well attended. The room itself was spacious and inviting. The beds were soft and comfortable.I would stay again there even if I did not need a pet friendly location.
I had a very nice stay here .room was clean and up to date. Staff were very pleasant an helpful. Continental breakfast was very nice overall it was a nice stay an have no complaints. Would definitely stay here again if in town !! The only thing bad was hot tub was down.. And it would have been nice to use to relax my sore hip do to having hip surgery. But the pool was nice an warm but could use some cleaning around the liner !
The staff was so friendly. They were so welcoming when we checked in and even gave my daughter a little stuffed animal and a tiara which was such a nice gesture especially since we were there for a funeral. The employees were some of the nicest and professional people I’ve ever talked to and I have traveled all over the country. The breakfast was very good and the ladies were all so nice. The only thing we were disappointed in was the hot tub wasn’t up and running. We were there around the holidays and it was down at that time too.
This hotel is nice and we prefer it when traveling to the area. It was in the process of renovation, but that did not interfere with our stay. However, it took 3 rooms before one was acceptable. The first room had not been cleaned, the second room was already occupied. We changed from a king bed room to a 2 queen room. This room met , what I feel, are Comfort Suite standards. It was just the hassle of checking in that was a little disconcerting.
Wonderful hotel! Clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Located near wonderful shopping and restaurants. We were traveling in a group and had multiple rooms. Hotel staff accommodated our request to be on the top floor with rooms near each other. While this accommodation might not be surprising, it was surprising to us because our request is rarely accommodated at other hotels. At this Comfort Suites, our request was treated like the norm rather than the exception. We would stay again without hesitation.
Our check in process was totally seamless and the young lady at the front desk was the model of friendliness and represented the hotel with a wonderful smile and personality. It was a very busy weekend with a lot of small children running the halls -- not the hotels fault; thats just poor parenting. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was standard fair; the breakfast area was kept very neat and clean. Overall, no complaints.
The location was great, not to far from the highway. Target is right across the street and they have plenty of places to eat. Our room was clean and big. The staff was amazing. I would def. come back to this hotel. The pool was a llittle of the small side but we still loved it. The beds were so comfortable it made it hard to get out of bed. The breakfast was your basic continental breakfast. Did I mention the staff was amazing!!!
It has to be difficult for hotels to contend with groups of 12 year old hockey players. This hotel nails it. The boys were respectful of the staff and the staff were respectful of the boys. Cant say enough. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we were made to feel welcome everyday. The breakfast room was a great meeting place. Great value, period. And also happens to be in the perfect location!
This was a very disappointing experience. We were given a room that had not been cleaned yet, then moved to a room that they couldn’t give us keys to. Once they finally gave us room keys on our second day, we could only use the keys once, then they would stop working and we had to go get a new key. Housekeeping never came to our room the entire time we were there. The ice machine never worked, the pool was closed. We paid way too much for this level of service.
Overall it was okay. They did allow my dogs to stay for an extra fee which was nice. Nothing stuck out as being great. The toilet seat in our room was broken. Site listed a hot tub but did not have one. The key card entry to a side door did not work so I had to walk around to the front with my handicapped dog.
We spent two nights at this hotel with our three year old daughter. It was a lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be that if you would like the children out of the pool by 10 p.m., could you please install a clock in the pool area. In general, a clock would be helpful at any time of the day for those using the pool.Wed be happy to return to this location in the future.
I had a reservation for a room with my mom and aunt for our annual trip to Frankenmuth. We checked into the room around 8:30pm and once we got into the room we noticed the bedding for the sofa couch was dirty. I took it downstairs and asked for fresh and showed the lady working the desk. No apology or anything but she said she would have some ready for us when we got back from the store. When we returned and entered into the elevator it reeked of smoke as well as a good portion of the second level. Our trash in our room wasnt changed, and the bathroom was only half cleaned. The floors in the bathroom hadnt been swept because you could still see hair and debris on the floor. My mom took a shower the next morning and when the mirrors fogged up you could see writing all over the mirrors from someone previous, so those werent cleaned either. The best part was breakfast the next morning. We checked out before we went into breakfast. I walked up to get a danish and the lady working took the tray back into the back. When she came back out empty handed I asked if she was going to bring them back out. She got nasty withe me, told me that she was cleaning up from breakfast, that it was 10:30, thats when breakfast ended, and then asked me what the time was. I told her it was 10:26 and she continued to be hateful and asked me what I wanted. I told her nothing since it appeared to be an inconvenience for her. While eating breakfast you can clearly see the front desk and the lady looking at me while talking to the manager. I went out there and explained the situation and the lady proceeded to tell me to stop and that I wasnt gonna lie on me (her). The manager had to tell her a couple of times to leave, but again while eating everyone could hear her in the back loudly talking about what had happened. Nothing was done when I asked for her managers information. The girl working the front desk just told me she was the manager and nothing else was done.Absolute disappointment! So since nothing was done hopefully this will reach people who hope to spend money on a nice place to stay
The staff was friendly and inviting. The continental breakfast was decent. There were light bulbs out in the room and also on light poles in the parking lot. Also, the Comfort Suites sign that is on the outside of the building read Com Suites when lit up due to bulbs being burnt out. It just seemed like there was a lack in general maintenance to the building.
Issue with air conditioning but overall good. Breakfast was very good and a lot to choose from. Bed was comfy. Wish I would have asked to switch room sooner due to air conditioning issue....better to know for next time. I have daughter moving to this location for school soon so may use again.....still not sure. Many others to choose from
This is one of the better Comfort locations in my experience, and I would happily go back again. The lobby shop and the breakfast area are slightly smaller than you might be used to in more populated areas, but the quality of the rooms themselves is better by far. More comfortable beds, more and better pillows, a sofa in the king room with a nice sturdy table and plenty of storage space. Im very glad I used this location.
This hotel was not what I expected. The reviews seemed too good to be true-and they were. The place is filthy. The room had dirty fingerprints all over the bathroom door and walls. The breakfast was just nasty. Bagels were stale and the food was poorly stocked. The parking lot was not open for us to use leaving us to walk quite far with three small children and our luggage. It was absolutely awful staying here. I will not stay again and would not recommend, especially for the price we paid.
My wife and I, both retirees, have stayed in a few of a competitors hotels that are in the same hotel complex as Comfort Suites and honestly had a better experience in Comfort Suites. Our overall feel of this hotel was outstanding.... all hotel employees were extremely friendly and accommodating, our 3rd floor room was very quiet, comfortable, and clean; the hot breakfasts (included) were satisfying; and we felt safe. Maintenance personnel immediately responded to our plugged toilet and the front desk personnel were engaging and personable, leaving us with the feeling that our comfort and satisfaction were extremely important to them. And the indoor pool was well maintained. For outside activities, this hotel is convenient to the I-75 spur so that Frankenmuth, the Birch Run outlets, Midland, and other attractions are a less than 20 minute trip away. Also, in the immediate area is the Fashion Square Mall as well as numerous other familiar chain stores and restaurants. The USS Edson destroyer is also close by in Bay City, and Id bet that children would love the ship tour. All of this was provided at a rate that was significantly lower than the competitors numerous flavors of hotels next door. For all future visits to Saginaw, this Comfort Suites hotel will certainly be our choice!
Actually felt that we were desired as guests of this hotel. Clean, convenient, comfortable with good amenities. Appreciate the pool, hot tub being adult only after 10pm. Wish the breakfast was available later since not everyone is an early riser, particularly for multi day stays. Room was spacious with comfortable beds! Always an important feature.
Everything went great. -- The hotel room was beautiful. Comfortable beds. I love a room with a refrigeratorand microwave. The breakfast was good. It was great that they have (2) waffle makers. I stayed the nextday in another city and it was a much more expensive hotel. We had to wait on everything & they only had(1) waffle maker, it took forever to get breakfast. Not at here at Comfort Suites.Definitely would stay again. Good value, nice place.
The beds were comfortable and the choice of soft or hard pillows was another plus. The staff at the front desk was friendly and courteous. All the staff we ran into all had smiles and friendly. The breakfast was great too. Pool room nice and clean and the sauna was great. Quiet in the evening.
It was a great price and clean. Didnt have any problems with the staff either. The pool was nice and so was the hot tub. My only complaints were not extremely important to me. The elevator floor and some of the hallways needed to be vacuumed and there wasnt a lot of options for breakfast, but like I said not to big of a deal. My room was clean and that is more important to me. I would stay here again!
I liked being able to check in early being from out of town it did help being in room early. Liked internet connection speed although being on a timer for use was to me unusual first motel ever stayed in with this for internet.Handicapped parking was limited would have preferred more parking spaces nearer to front door. But overall was a great stay if I could afford it I would probably stay here again when in Saginaw area.
My extended family was in town for a wedding, most stayed at your hotel. The area where breakfast is served was a great gathering place for the family to meet to talk and play games. The pool was clean. The children loved swimming. We felt secure with kids in the room. The hotel was quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. Its close enough to Frankenmuth that we were able to make a quick trip prior to our afternoon wedding. It was great!
Our room was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Dirt and scuffs all over and stained furniture. The pool wasn’t warm and parts of the bubbly ceiling were falling down. A great breakfast, some updated areas, and very friendly staff. A great location too. We were just afraid to sit on furniture or take off our shoes. Staff should be given more time to address cleanliness.
Well....a side from the bathroom light not working, the bedside light not working and the dirty pair of underwear found in my room, the staff was very polite and understanding. Although my company and I would have appreciated some type of concession for the issues listed above, we were pleased with the cleanliness and centralized location of the hotel.
We stay at a lot of Choice hotels, this was a good one. My only observation is that there were not enough of the soft pillows when we include use of the sofa bed. We left the room late on our middle day and thus housekeeping was delayed. They did a nice job of making our beds, and replenishing toiletries, but forgot washcloths entirely. Beds were comfortable, heating/cookie were in good service. Breakfast was good, and included fresh fruit each day.
After a less than stellar arrival, we enjoyed our stay here. Housekeeping had apparently marked a few rooms as clean and ready that werent. Lisa at the front desk was friendly, polite and apologetic for problem with check-in. When we finally found a room that was ready, it was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We had no problems with the Wi-Fi and the breakfast offered plenty of tasty choices.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Comfort Suites/Saginaw. This was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. The beds were so comfortable! I dont know the last time we have slept so good. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The only negative that I find at all Comforts are the breakfasts. The microwaved eggs and sausage are not at all appetizing.
Clean rooms, excellent staff, great breakfast. The pool was small, but its Adults Only from 10pm-12am which is nice. The coffee was surprisingly good - not what you would expect at a hotel. The mattresses are a little too hard, but you have your choice of Soft or Firm pillows and the bedding is of good quality.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent! Round the clock coffee available. Super fluffy comfortable beds and pillows. TV remote was a little awkward. Bath tub didnt drain to well. Pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was perfect. Aside from unmonitored kids at the pool, I would say our stay was way more than we expected. Also, considering the hotel was full of kids because of a hockey event in the area, would couldnt hear a thing! Probably because the gigantic steal door!
The room was comfortable. I felt safe and everyone enjoyed the stay. There seemed to be too much chlorine in the pool, our eyes and throat hurt after swimming. Breakfast was good and there was a nice variety. Staff was friendly and it was overall great. We just had the problem with getting the sofa bed cleaned and were unable to use it.
The hotel staff were amazing. They were ready to help no matter what time of day it was. Breakfast was always hot, fresh, and on time. Im definitely glad I stayed here Vs a normal extended stay hotel. They made 3months seem like days, a home away from home. Thanks guys keep up the great work!
Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful with our needs and answered our questions about choice privileges. Swimming pool was small but clean and had plenty of towels. The fresh cookies at check in was really nice for our son. Great experience will definitely stay here again when in the area.
The desk clerks were very helpful as we didnt know from day to day whether we would be re-checking in. We were comforting my sister and her family while she was under hospice care. We felt a burden lifted knowing we could call and they would accomodate us for the evening, even with very late check ins. The free breakfast was a nice touch.
The room was very nice and clean. The bed comfortable with good pillows. The staff was very helpful with the dinner recommendation. We enjoyed the 10% discount to Harveys included on our key card. Great place with good food and great desserts. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. What a great way to begin a great vacation!
The hotel met expectations. Nothing fancy, but the staff was accomodating and pleasant. Our room was clean when we arrived. The property is near food, shopping, running trail and SVSU. We always feel that we get a good value for our money when we stay at this property.
The hotel was ok. You could use new carpeting. The bedding was great. Good nights rest. The gym could use a little more equipment. Your staff is WONDERFUL. The lobby was fresh. Breakfast/ food was good. So nice to have a fridge. Thanks for a nice restful stay. I will be back. :)
We had a great experience @ the hotel. My 2 year old son was having surgery at Covenant and the hotel turned what was a not so fun experience into a more enjoyable memory for him. He loved the pool and the friendly staff who offered him icecream upon arrival :) Breakfast was great as well as the coffee bar outfront! We enjoyed the comfy beds and amazing pillows. I will definitely recommend the facility to others!
The hotel was nice and appeared clean. Our suit was a good size. The free breakfast had a nice selection. We were glad to have complimentary WiFi, but we were on the third floor, and ours was spotty. We were disappointed the pool was so cold. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
The price was good (I had a discount through my job) and the hotel and room looked clean. There were many problems, however: Check-in was delayed by staff chatting to each other, room was not properly cleaned after our 1st night stay, the hot tub was out of order, the pull out couch was very uncomfortable and the blankets for it were stained and ragged, and the internet speed was appalling.
Overall the hotel is a nice place to stay. It is very centrally located and within easy walking distance to stores, the mall and restaurants. The room was clean and updated somewhat. My only complaint was the condition of the bathroom accessories. The white towels and face cloths were very badly stained and in need of replacing. The tissues provided are the lowest quality one could use. We have stayed in this hotel many, many times and this was the first time we found anything really lacking, so it was a bit of a surprise.
Got to my room and it was awful. Went down to front desk and no one was there. I was totally exhausted from an early morning trip. Lets start with the look of the hotel, inside a mess. Elevator old and a mess. Room sheets was dingy. White comforter had yellowish stains. When we called to get linen changed I was told that I could stop and get linen and change linen myself. I dont want to change linen and pay for the room. Im so disappointed. This place really deserves no stars. Im so disappointed. I will never stay here again.
The hotel is a standard hotel, beds, bathroom, pool, etc. Nothing crazy in terms of amenities. However, the service was excellent. We had to leave at 5AM to get to the airport and asked the front desk to prep some cold bagged breakfasts for us and instead, they got the hot buffet ready just for us! A great start to a day of travel we all appreciated. Thanks!
Overall, our stay at the Saginaw Comfort Suites was very good. The staff was wonderful, the rooms clean and the hotel largely quiet given it was booked by two high school robotics programs. The only negative was the pool area in which the chlorine smell was very high.
This is by far the best stay I have ever had at any hotel. The staff and front desk are very welcoming and honored every request of ours. Overall the pool was great, breakfast was great, room was neat and clean, adequate fitness room. Overall, my family and children liked it very much.
Overall the room was in a good order and the beds were very clean and comfortable. Internet connection was far from high speed though, could not stream anything. Breakfast was exceptional for a hotel, not chintzy like some where all you get is muffins and coffee. For the price this was a good value.
Clean rooms, VERY nice staff, great free breakfast, safe location and quiet hotel. The pool, disgusting . It looked and felt as if it hasnt been cleaned in yrs. Dirty water and thick, dark scum on sides of the pool. The surface around the pool is slimy. Found bugs/hair in hot tub. Other than the pool, wonderful hotel!
The price was good (I had a discount through my job) and the hotel and room looked clean. There were many problems, however: check-in was delayed by staff chatting with each other, the pull-out couch was very uncomfortable and the blankets for it were stained and ragged, the hot tub was out of order, the room was not adequately cleaned after our 1st night and the internet speed was horrible.
This place is run down. It smells musty, the carpets are all stained up, the bathtub had mold growing in it. As soon as you walk through the door all you can smell is dog pee. They advertise a hot tub, but the isnt one. We got our money back and left. Do not go here. The only good thing I can say is about the staff, theyre very friendly.
As a Canadian, looking to get away for a break and do some cross border shopping, we found the location absolutely perfect to all amenities and stores. The hotel was clean, the beds were super comfortable and breakfast was provided all at an excellent price! Not having young children, We loved that the pool had hours for adults only!
This hotel was lovely - nice room, lots of space, good breakfast in the AM. However, we booked this hotel specifically to enjoy the pool and the hot tub. The pool was OK, but a little too cool, so we didnt swim. Then the hot tub nearly scalded us! After 10 minutes, I looked as if I had a sunburn all over my body. We didnt stay in it, obviously. Disappointing. We did notify the front desk upon check out. We were checked out by cquinn. No remuneration was offered us for our discomfort.
Convient location, clean, friendly service. The breakfast was great. Just wish the time was extended until of 10 am. It closed at 9 am. The pool and hot tub area was wonderful. The chlorine level was a little high. But understandable because there were a lot of people at the hotel. The pool water was 84 degrees and the hot tub was 101, it was great
The hotel suite was nice, and it was clean. The complimentary breakfast had standard choices. We were disappointed the swimming pool was so cold. I was glad the hotel had free WiFi, but the connection was spotty in our room. The hotel was easy to locate and had several shopping venues nearby. Overall our stay was a good experience.
We stayed at this Comfort Suites for one night as we were in the area for a wedding. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, as well as good shopping. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional...good variety and even hot food choices. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything at this hotel was great except for the Internet. There was a very slow wireless connection in our room. The pages took a long time to load. We finally turned off the computer. So, as long as you dont need to be on the Internet, we highly recommend this hotel.
We were traveling to Mackinac Island with our three young grandchildren and we stayed her to break up the long travel time. The hotel is excellent, room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very attentive to our needs, and the breakfast was well above standard fare. The only issue was the tile floor that surrounds the pool was very, very slippery so use extra caution. Otherwise great!
I had stayed at this Comfort Suites this past weekend in Saginaw, the hotel seemed very nice and clean. The hotel itself was very nice. The only disappointment was the bathroom in my room. It didnt seem as if they had cleaned it properly, there were pieces of hair in the bathtub and towels. Besides that, great hotel.
Nice mid range hotel. Staff was very friendly and prompt to accommodate. Did have issue with their computer having wrong check in date, despite our correct email confirmation, but they were quick to find a solution. Breakfast had a decent selection, but didnt taste very high quality. Would have rathered Panera or Starbucks for breakfast (both near by). Would def book again if we were in saginaw.
I was highly satisfied with my recent stay at Comfort Suites. The room was clean and spacious with a pull out couch i did not expect. The continental breakfast was excellent. The motel was quiet and the staff was courteous. We will stay there again next year for our annual shopping trip.
Room was very nice. Plenty of power outlets, including USB. The partition in the room was minimal. Bathroom sink was great and had a stopper, which was crucial for washing baby bottles.Workout facility had lots of dumbbells (up to 50lbs), an adjustable angle bench, and very nice treadmills that went up to 12mph. The one annoyance with the treadmills was that they had a TV screen right in your face, but there was no way (that I could figure out) to get sound.Breakfast buffet was included and was decent. It was also great to have hot tea available when we checked in.Staff was very polite.
Got there late, they gave us a great room with out a reservation and made sure we had everything we needed before we left the lobby. Great staff ! Had a great night sleep, great bed and pillows. Bathroom was clean and nice looking. Sleeping area was very nice. Great breakfast and easy check out.Thank you!
1. Staff stated at check in that we couldnt use AARP discount because they were near capacity. Is this true?? Never had a problem with any other hotel ising this discount. 2. Made sure to book a hotel with a hot tub as it always feels good to relax after our annual womens shopping trip. It was out of order. 3. Pull out coach bed had no sheets and we had to call for sheets and make the bed ourselves. 4. Toilet was plugged. Called front desk and they said maintenance was gone for the night, so there was nothing they could do. WHAT!!??? Asked if they had a plunger and plunged it ourselves!
We have been staying in hotels for about a month. Finding Comfort Suites in Saginaw Michigan has been awesome. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We have stayed in places where they turn their noses up to you but not here. Always have smiles and a hello for us. Thank you for making something that has been difficult for my family and making it a little brighter.
I found the breakfast area very busy to the point some guests were waiting in the lobby to be able to get into the breakfast area. Overall, the hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. When I was getting my breakfast the staff member was bringing in some English muffins and dropped a couple on the floor. I was anxious to see what she would do with them, as Ive seen in the past where they have just been put back in the package, but without hesitation she picked them up and thru them in the garbage. Good example of the employee thinking like the guest. I would have one request with breakfast, instead of the packaged quick oatmeal, it would be nice if it was the real thing. This was my first stay at this hotel and I will be back the next time Im in the Saginaw area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
Beds not comfortable.Pillows not comfortable.Room smells like a pet store.Very weird people hanging out in the parking lot. Did not feel safe at night. The hallway stinks from all the people smoking pot! We had to tell the front desk. She know exactly what room to go to.The heater did not work for the pool. The hot tub didnt work at all.
The room provides a place to rest, refresh, or stop in for a change of clothing. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the A.C. worked, quietly. But, most importantly, the staff was very accommodating. They all, from front desk to housekeeping, made us feel genuinely welcome. I will definitely stay here again.
The coffee was terrific. Best hotel coffee Ive had in 12+ years of staying at hotels in 8+ states around the Midwest. This coffee wasnt the watered-down weak brown-water type that you usually get a hotels. Its the little things that people remember; keep up the good work. Whomever made the coffee the day I stayed should be given a raise.
I was most impressed how the hotel staff was able to handle the throngs of kids and parents that flowed through the hotel all weekend. It seemed that of the several different soccer teams that had blocked rooms there, we had about 10 of our 12-14 year old girls at this hotel and others scattered nearby, there was at least two other teams (18 11-12 year old boys and 18 9- 0 year old boys) as well as their families and unfortunately we all wound up with the same morning game times both days. At breakfast the lines were about 8-10 people long at times and food was disappearing almost faster then the 1 lady could get it out. Of course there were a few cranky parents who thought that they were there for their childrens debut in the World Cup who were making rude comments but there were many more of us who were proactive and asked for more cups and refilled the dispensers while the lady was working on cooking more eggs and restocking other items. I am sure that the housekeeping staff did not appreciate all of the grass clippings that were dragged in on all of the soccer cleats but all I saw were smiles and offers to get us extra towels after playing games in the pouring rain. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and the carpet, bed linens and curtains were updated. The bathroom looked like they had been partially renovated - the few broken floor tiles and terrible re-glazing attempt on the bathtubs made it look dirty and shabby but the granite counter-top, curved shower curtain, nice lighting and mirror were very nice.I dont know if it was due to the amount of kids in and out of the pool all weekend that the pool chlorine level/smell was so high. We had to prop the exit open to keep our eyes from burning and still could only stand being in there for less than an hour.Otherwise it was a great value for the price.
The staff were very courteous and professional. The room was a handicap room and met my needs. Furthermore, the room was was clean and offered all the basic accommodations one comes to expect. However, the wet area was unacceptable. The hot tub was visibly filthy, as was the pool. Moreover, I couldnt use the pool anyway because there was only a ladder, no steps, and the lift was not in service.
The bed and pillows were comfortable. There were plenty of towels. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast quality was on the poor side the first day of the stay, the eggs were over cooked, the bread for the toast was stale, and the batter for the waffle was too thick. Luckily Panera and Bob Evens were right there.
First I get there and the hotel was nasty, I had to change room because the sheets on the bed wasnt clean. They put me in another room that wasnt worsen then the other. I wanted to change hotels on the first day. We left the next morning to visit my family and come back to a note under the door stating that we need to move to another floor because they was remodeling the 2and floor. Woke up stuff was everywhere(tables, lamps, old carpet, furniture, and dust was in the air that me and my daughter was breathing). We move to another floor, where they shouldve put me first. The staff looks horrible, the caucasians look like they were on meth and their clothes was bleached stain and clothes was wrinkled. The African Americans clothes was wrinkled and hair looked rough( they need to be put in the same professional uniforms). I asked for wash cloth and they gave me some with paint or something on them. I have picture. Please take these things in consideration because the comfort inn in Birmingham are not like that and thats why I booked with them. This comfort inn and suites need work. I would stay at another but I would have to see the rooms first before stay. The only reason why I stay, is because no other hotel had any vacant.
I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past and a lot of other Choice Hotels across the country over the years and this one is still hands down the best so far. Everything from cleanliness to friendliness is always spot on. There was construction taking place this time, but it was no factor...and I cant wait to see how they are making it even better!
Where do I start. Checked in on Thursday evening. Waited my turn Latino girl was nasty right from the start. Yelled at me that I have to wear a mask. Mind you there were glass partions and I said to her Im from Ohio and we dont have to wear masks everywhere. She said well your in michigan and its the law (its not a law anywhere) And I said there was nothing posted on the door if so I would have put one on. So I had one in my pocket and I put it on. Took stuff to our room. Left to meet people for dinner. Came back around ten passed same girl in hall that chewed me out and mind you she was nasty during whole check in process was not wearing a mask. Went to bathroom no toilet paper in my room well almost empty anyway wouldnt last till morning so went to desk masked and no one around stood there for 10 minutes knocked on office door. So I picked up phone in lobby she came running to phone out of back. Saw it was me rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a roll. What did I do to deserve her attitude over a mask?. Water was cold. Had to get someone to come turn it up by this time next shift came on. Was very very nice weekend with rest of staff. Mind you none of them wore masks. Got what we needed clean towels and coffee etc. Thank you for making the rest of our stay pleasant. Until I left . I was dropping card off at desk heading out the door again the Latino woman was back on duty. Uggg chewed me out to put on my mask. I told her as door was opening Im leaving. She kept yapping I just kept on walking. Pot lingered in hallway all weekend. I realize its legal to smoke but not in the hotel. Ty to the weekend staff you were fun to talk to pleasant and I reported you Latino girl (possible Mexican I dont know) to the manager you are disrespectful to customers. I never even uttered a word to you and you were nasty to me for no reason. Try asking nicely. I will think twice about staying there because of her attitude alone. I rented 2 rooms one for 4 days and another for my daughter for 2. I spent alot of money here. And this was not my first stay here.
We chose this hotel for our two night stay while visiting Frankenmuth and Bronners, and saved $$ significantly by having an extra 15 minute drive on a simple and direct highway route. Perfect location to find all the shopping highlights. Even though our room faced the road, the room was very quiet, we slept soundly in our super comfortable beds. Loved the assortment of pillows to choose from. Great price + clean and comfortable room + free breakfast = Perfect stay!
Our house burnt down the day before Thanksgiving and we lost everything we had. We spent 2 months at this hotel. The front desk staff, barb, Michelle, Sam and Jamie were extremely nice. They would always greet us with a smile and ask how we were doing. I cant thank them all enough for letting us keep our 3 chihuahuas with us in the room. Our chihuahaus mean the world to us. I would like to thank all of the staff for being so patient and kind. Also for letting me use their cleaning supplies so I could keep the room as clean as I could. Life was rough having to live in a hotel room for 2 months but all of the staff were awesome and made us feel right at home. Big thank you to everybody that works at this hotel - I would name everybody by name if I could remember them all lol. Thanks again, you are all amazing! I highly recommend this hotel.
We booked 3 rooms for a wedding. My daughter asked for a late checkout as she had to meet up with others Sunday afternoon. She was told she could have a late check out at 1:00 on Sunday. She was rudely awakened at 11 and told she had to leave at noon because the late checkout didnt work for them. Others from the wedding who stayed at nearby hotels did not have any problems with late checkouts and certainly were not treated as rudely as my daughter was treated. The hotel is under construction and there was a smell in all three rooms. We also had to get a plunger for a clogged toilet and the sink was also clogging. We will not stay again and would not recommend to others either.
I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!! I travel all over the country and the staff here goes above and beyond to make us feel at home (Michelle Patty and Trent). I’ve stayed here MANY times and very convenient to all the restaurants and store you need. Rooms are spacious and always clean.
We have stayed at this hotel many times and have really enjoyed our stay, however this time they were doing renovations on all the floors to replace outdated bathrooms. The noise during the day was very loud and didnt allow for my husband to take his usual nap. We would suggest doing renovations on one floor at a time and housing your guests on a floor that isnt being worked on. That way we wouldnt have to walk through a construction zone every time we wanted to use the elevator. Also, for the first time, we found the bathroom to be below the usual standards that weve come to expect from Comfort Inn, which was very disappointing after a long day of travelling.
We have stayed here before , mainly because we bring our dog and it is pet-friendly. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and presentable, the breakfast is always good, and the hotel is convenient to just about anywhere you want to go. The cute little seating area in back for people who have pets is wonderful, and there is plenty of parking, even when the place seems to be filled. Even the dog likes it!
Excellent staff, receptionist Michelle, housekeeper DeAngel and evening receptionist on Jan.7th, (sorry I can not remember her name.) went above and beyond their regular duties. My SIL became very sick. They offered help and clean linens. They even checked on me to make sure I was OK. They made me feel that I was not alone in the situation. This meant a lot to me. Very compassionate helpful staff!!!!
The external view of the hotel is inviting. Stayed one night with wife. King size bed suite: furnishings in the room were acceptable. Some mildew smell in the shower. Probably the shower curtain. The room door latch was sticking meaning it did not latch sometimes. I had this problem at another comfort inn previously which I complained about that took some time to fix. Did not have time to waste on this so jiggled and slammed to get it to latch. Hallways were dim especially near the elevator which needed some upkeep (worn floor and noisy). Good breakfast.
Very dissatisfied. Had to wipe down vanity in bathroom before I could put anything on it. Lady @ desk said she would have room cleaned extremely well, didnt happen. We were going to stay for 6 nights, couldnt handle more than 2 nights. The bed was comfortable. When we walked on elevator, we should of known how it was going to look. Hallway had trash on it.
My niece wanted to do a womens weekend instead of a baby shower. She chose Comfort Suites Saginaw as the location for 15 of her friends and relatives to get together, share pizza and cupcakes and have a fun time--and we did! Its location near the Xscape Room as well as its proximity to the malls made it an ideal spot. The staff was always courteous, helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to see that we had everything we needed. Thank you, Comfort Suites Saginaw!
Be prepared for a comfortable spacious room with a great bonus program through Choice Plus. Room was very clean and the bathroom large clean and well stocked with essentials. Breakfast offered many choices to meet the needs of people with different breakfast needs. Front desk was courteous and checkout was a breeze. we will stick to this chain as we travel throughout the U.S.
The hotel itself is average, the staff was nice. But the big problem is the temp heating and cooling. We had several rooms and all were extremely hot. You could not keep the unit FAN on, which meant that you had no white noise and could hear the sports/student teams all night - the teams were not overly loud, they were just normal teenagers talking/giggling through the night, etc.
I checked in on 10/10/16 and checked out on 10/13/16. The first night was fine. After the second night i noticed itchy, red, inflamed bite marks in the 3 bump pattern on my chest, arms, upper abdomen and shoulder areas. Im familiar with this bite mark pattern as in years prior i was bitten by bed bugs at another hotel. I did not have bed bugs in my luggage or anything i was traveling with. The bed closest to the window is the only one that i slept in fr the 3 nights, as it was a dbl queen suite. I cant speak for the other bed in the room as to whether or not it had bed bugs. The bed, room and hotel should be checked thoroughly for bed bugs. They can produce rather quickly and soon you would have the entire hotel infected if its not already. The best way to get rid of bed bugs is to deep steam the mattress, if its not going to be replaced, and everywhere they can hide. Steam/extreme heat is the only thing that kills them safely and effectively.

2022-03-29Upon arrival the hotel looks great and well kept. The young lady at the front desk was an absolute pleasure to talk to. My room is a king suite on the 3rd floor. The room is set up well and appealing to the eye. The bed and the couch feel perfectly comfortable. Overall, I am quite happy with my room.

2022-01-20This Comfort Inn is wonderful!!! I hope that the CEO of this place knows just what they have here with every single employee! Everyone from the moment we showed up was extremely friendly and helpful!!! It is so clean and taken care of! Thank you for such a wonderful stay while my dad was there for surgery! We will definitely be back!

2022-03-07Positive: The continental breakfast was okay. Negative: When we arrived to the hotel we were greeted with a pool closed sign at the front desk. It was obvious the mirrors in our room were not wiped down and there was no toilet paper in our bathroom. The overall cleanliness was unsettling. We wont go back.

2022-06-24The room was clean and the hotel in a good location. But, the absolute highlight was Tia. Her service at the front desk was by far the best I have experienced anywhere! Thank you Tia for making my visit outstanding!!

2022-06-21Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. Due to a sports competition in the area, this was the only hotel that had a room available for the dates I needed, so I booked it. When I walked into the room, things looked fine until I began turning on the lights. Every surface inside was covered in a layer of dust and at least one light fixture had cobwebs. The curtains were also filthy. Walking into the bathroom I noticed a dirty toilet seat and bowl. The sink, toiletries, and floor had muktiple strands of hair on them and the tub had dried soap/shampoo stains. I went to the front desk where I was greeted by a very friendly concierge who promptly came into the room to try to clean the bathroom as housekeeping had already left for the evening. After she left, I noticed that there was still hair on the bathroom floor and that the toilet seat was still dirty, but I had to wait until morning due to it being late and the fact that I was traveling with my tired, young child. When lifting the sheets from the bed, I noticed more strands of the sane hair seen in the bathroom. First thing in the morning I called and requested housekeeping full service, and left a note for the manager requesting to be contacted regarding the condition of the room. Beforr leaving for a morning appointment, I realized that even the face towels had stains on them. I made a note of this also with the front desk. I returned to the room a few hours later, I found that the bed had been made by housekeeping, but the sheets had not been changed and that the hair in the bathroom still remained. When I asked to speak to the assistant General manager, she assured me that she would clean the room herself, but preferred to do it without my presence in the room. I left again, entrusting that this time things would get cleaned to my satisfaction. They were not. The towels and sheets were changed, but again, the hair remained. I again went to the front desk where the same friendly concierge greeted me and came to the room with cleaning supplies. I walked through the bathroom with her, pointing out the hair and dirty toilet seat. When things were cleaned to my satisfaction, she apologized for the inconvenience before leaving. I appreciated her help, but I still have yet to be contacted by the general manager. This hotel simply took my money, provided a dirty and subpar room, and sent me on my way.If this is the standard for this site, I do not recommend this Comfort Suites to others. There are cleaner hotels in the area.

2022-04-02The pet fee is a nonrefundable $50. Id love to know why. The room was nice, clean, and on the first floor. If you have back or neck pain, the bed was very soft and caused some increased pain for my husband and I. Theres no channel guide, so good luck. It was kind of like all the bad and all the good equalled out to... Ehh

2022-05-30There definitely needs to be some type of protocol put in place for cleaning rooms of someone that stays multiple nights. After requesting clean bed sheets and a vacuum twice and not receiving it... Im headed somewhere else.

2022-03-02Positive: The bed was comfortable Negative: The pool was closed. Looked fine to be under repair. The first room that we were sent to was dirty, food left in the fridge, crumbs on the floor, greasy stains on the furniture. Moved to a different room. The heater was loud. NOT a 2.5 star hotel.
