Comment: This is the closest Chevy dealership to me to have my car serviced, but it takes 45 minutes to get there. I purposely made AN APPOINTMENT ahead of time to have my oil changed and said that I would wait for it, in an effort to minimize the time I would have to be gone, given I live too far away to drop and come back. I was given a 1 pm appointment. On arrival, I was told the car wouldnt be ready until the end of the day, promised by 6pm. This was totally unacceptable. When I protested, I was told that the drop in cars without appointments had priority, and I was 11th in the queue, that making an appointment had no effect upon the timing of my service. I was told everyone is in a time crunch and I was no different. If this was indeed the case, I should have been told that making an appointment was useless when I called a couple of weeks ago to schedule the service. I wasted an entire afternoon, was sent home in rush hour traffic, and missed my dinner date. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. My invoice noted they performed a mulitpoint vehicle inspection, but was not given any results from that - so I have no idea if there are other items on the car that I should be watching out for. The car did come back very clean and I assume the oil change was performed well. The hassles with the dealership, though, make it a place to avoid.

Comment: Traded my vehicle in for a newer one and they said they would pay off whatever I owed for the vehicle I traded in but they didn’t fully pay it off. I had to deal with the lienholder who still took money out of my bank for the vehicle payments. They told me the vehicle wasn’t fully paid off and that I still owed them money so I had to serttle that myself.

Comment: I dont want to give one star. But,This is the first time I must say.The service experience I had was Not good at all. I am so disappointed in the service I received on my car. The service advisor who claimed to have worked on my car, is named Anthony. My vehicle was brought in through CarMax, and I guess Anthony is their go-to person for service. I tried to call Anthony, no answer. I left a message describing what was wrong with my car and also stated I have a video of one of the issues with my car. He never called back. My car was kept for 2 weeks, the problem was not fixed, and my radio system is worse than what it was when it went in. Instead of Anthony giving me a call back so I could inform him of the issues, he chose to (I guess) fix what he thought was the problem, and made things worse. Now Im stuck with a messed up radio system in a 2023 Car.I would never trust Anthony to do any service work on my car again.!!!!!

Comment: I did not have the best experience and this isn’t my first time coming to you. i haven’t had problems in the past but this time i felt like the entire team was disconnected and no one heard me all the way up to corporate. My car started over heating prior to me having it towed in. The moment it started overheating the display said “Check Engine oil” since i had just gotten my oil changed i took it back to the place i got the oil change and they reset it but advised it was not my engine oil and that i needed to have my thermostat replaced. Since i had just had my thermostat replaced in January by Tire Choice and Brakes I then had it towed to them in which they said they could see small drips of coolant going into my head gasket and that this isn’t the first reporting of it and if more people report it it was going to become a recall but indeed it was not my thermostat. I then had it towed to Chevy because i had Chevy replace my entire engine the end of 2021 and i have an extended warranty. I involved GM at this point bc i wanted to ensure someone would follow the service tech through the process. I was told by Kiana in corporate that there would be a service tech from GM corporate working alongside the tech at the dealership and that did not happen. I was told that it was my thermostat. In the middle of me asking Ryan for the recommendation i’m writing i got a call from Rodney saying that my car was ready when i had not given authorization for the repair. Since Manny was the original service advisor i was dealing with he reached out to find out if i had been reimbursed by Tire Choice and Brakes and I let him know I had not gotten that approval at that point and explained what had happened on his days off. He was able to get approval for approve match on the repair as close as possible to what i paid Tire Choice. I picked my car up this past Saturday and when i got in the car the Check Oil light was on AGAIN. When i asked Manng about it he said “the light was on when it came in” I may not be the sharpest tool in the tool box but to me why would you let someone drive off with that on? Do you not do thorough checks of one’s car? i mean you gave me quotes for brakes but didn’t say anything about the check oil light? In any event i took it back to where i got the oil change to have them reset it since no one at Chevy seemed to care or even listen to what i said to begin with. Do better Chevy

Upon getting a 2nd opinion on the situation I was informed that I dont even have that part on my car and the 2nd mechanic could not find any evidence of my car deteriorating in that area. When I called the service tech to get clarification in case there was another name for the part I never received a call back. This leads me to believe the estimate and repair were bogus.

Comment: When my car was done getting oil change/tire rotation the service advisor just gave the cashier the keys and said thanks. He did not go over the issues my car was having and offer solutions. They reported my ABS light was on, there were massive oil leaks and the drain plug was stripped. On the checklist it shows they checked my fog lights and they were good, well one is burnt out and no one offered to fix it. This is very frustrating because they sent me on my way with these issues and no solutions. They got my car done fairly quick.

This purchase was to be partially financed, so they went ahead and pulled our credit. AFTER they hard pulled our credit and began the purchase process, they tell us there is an active recall on the car and will not sell us the vehicle. Mind you, this all happened days after after we told them the vehicle had an active recall. A waste of time and a total waste of a credit pull. If it wasnt for Sam, I would give them 0 stars.

Comment: I purchased a vehicle here, everything was great, but after car was purchased, I contacted this business to check on my warranty, I wanted to see if something was covered, Ive only had the vehicle for 5 months. I called at 9am, left a voicemail for John Cooper thats who they transferred me to. From there I sent an email. I didnt hear anything back by the afternoon, so I called again and left my information with the receptionist. 4pm comes still nothing, I called again and finally got a hold of him only for him to be so rude. I only had 1 question, and he helped as much as he wanted to. Be careful where you do business and who you do it with, people suck.

When I picked up my truck I discovered the contents of my glove box tossed and all my personal items from my center console stolen. No signs of a break in so apparently they left my vehicle unlocked. I tried speaking to the service department manager but after 3 voice mails and 1 email he never replied. I spoke to the service rep I had been dealing with in the shop and when I told him what happened he offered a weak apology and blamed local homeless people. When I asked if they would offer anything to make this situation right he just said the fine print said they arent liable for anything. This situation to me proves that you will have no luck in speaking to a manager should you need one and also they dont care about customer satisfaction or loyalty. I have been a chevy customer my entire life and I am sad this is how the company is reflected at this dealership. If you have the option to take your business elsewhere I recommend it.**Edit** After I saw the message left by the general manager Matt, I reached out to the number provided to talk to him. Turns out this is a generic response not even from Matt because I learned he retired over a month ago. I left a polite and professional voice mail with the new manager, Alex, but surprise surprise never heard back. This just cements how negative this place is. Be very careful doing business here. They wont even return a phone call.

When I asked if I had to do anything else or notify the DMV, he said no. A few weeks later, I then received a bill from the DMV for registration renewal. After contacting the DMV, I learned that I had to send them a Notice of transfer and release of liability, which the Concord Chevrolet employee did not tell me about.

Comment: I went there for a very specific purpose... to reprogram the heater and cooling control module that lost its programming after a battery went dead on the car (supposedly a common issue?). I had already done the troubleshooting, didnt need codes scanned. If the module was failed then say you cant connect to it and the module needs replacing. I can do that and bring it back.That module and programming was quoted at 564 dollars. The ACDelco part is $100. From what I am reading on the internet the cost for reprogramming is $70-$100 for the service. I get there is mark up but wow... Thats quite some markup, $100 part and $464 in labor for programming?I am disappointed in my first experience with this dealership.If management wants to contact me to remedy this issue... please feel free you have my information. Im not looking for money back but I have already ordered the part and I think for the $250 I have already paid for?? Labor? Im not sure. This, I think, would cover the cost of programming by a large margin.The folks up front were great by the way... but maybe a little more attention to the customer on what they want done is needed.

The 225 dollar per concern fee does not apply towards the service if you get the work done. Insane, worst experience ever. I would give zero stars if the intake person wasn’t so nice

All I ask for is a response to how you can take money from people and not provide good vehicle service/customer service! Please respond to me with an answer, it’s the least you can do, since you would not reimburse me. Thank you!I still haven’t been contacted by the General manager and I like how he only comments on the positive posts. Customer service is not his strong suit as there is no follow up. Please read below before taking your vehicle to this dealership.After my vehicle breaking down and taking it to Concord Chevrolet, I waited for five hours in the waiting room, and was told that I needed a tuneup. Upon arrival at the dealership, I told them what the problem was, and even showed Rodney a video of what my Tahoe was doing. I told him that it was more than likely the body control module, but yet I was still told I needed a tuneup. I was also told that the body control module was going to be fine and I can continue to drive the rest of my 15 hours to get home. I specifically asked before leaving if it was safe to drive, and I was told absolutely what was going on has nothing to do with the body control module. Three hours up the road I broke down again, and the vehicle would not start and was stranded in a small town in northern California. I took my Tahoe small town mechanic shop, and they even told me that it was the body control module and couldn’t believe that Concord Chevrolet did not fix the problem and sent me down the road. I spent over $1000 at Concord Chevrolet, to only be left stranded in the middle of nowhere. I have tried numerous times to reach out to the general manager and he has not called me back and continues to ignore me. I filed a complaint with GM and they could not help me either and also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of California and they did not get a response from Concord Chevrolet. The customer service is unprofessional and I would take your business elsewhere.

Comment: The repair cost was ridiculously expensive. They allegedly inspected the vehicle. The check engine light was on, and it still is. Did they check it? Why didnt they? I asked them to change the oil. They did not put a sticker in the windshield indicating that they changed the oil. Did they really change the oil? Would it have been too much to expect a reminder sticker in the windshield? This is standard with jiffy-lube, but I guess that is too much to ask of Concord Chevrolet. I will never return to that dealership again. I feel ripped off.

Comment: This was the absolute worst experience that I’ve ever had at a service department. Brought my 2023 stingray C8 in because the front left system is not working and the air condition is not working. The technician used the wrong tools to take off the tow ring, leaving it, scratched, and the paint pealing off and didn’t put it back in flush did an evaluation of one of my condensers, and said that I punctured it which is almost impossible leaving me with over $2000 bill without even attempting to turn it in for warranty front left system isn’t working. He did not know how to fix it. Bled the system I told him that they had bled the system twice before and this was actually the third time still not working I told him what the problem was and they did not order the part instead bled the system for a third time wasting my time. And obviously the technician does not care about customers cars left my door panel, Oily, as well as the control module. Unbelievable then I later found that he put the bumper on wrong . Needless to say I will never return to the dealership again.

Comment: If I could give 0 stars I would. I dropped my Chevrolet Camaro on Friday 9/29 for a check engine light concern. Chevrolet came back on 10/2/2023 stating that the Driver side window was not working properly and had pre-existing conditions. I had no trouble with my window prior to taking it in. I Called 5 times from my cell phone and did not get an answer, I called from my work phone and got someone to pick up. The technician Anthony was not helpful with the window situation, the manager Ryan stated that he will remove the panel to inspect but would not go any further to help the situation. My frustration is that I took this in without any problems on the window, now they are stating that there is a problem with the window. They stated that the window was down when they received it, I dropped it off with the window rolled up. They are not being helpful on a problem that happened under their supervision.UPDATE: Matt Bassett has left comments on numerous bad reviews and the number he provides is a general number for the dealership. I had someone from sales transfer me to his phone and I left voicemails without a call back, even though he says to call him, he is never available.Manager Ryan and Auto Technician Matt were rude and disregarded my concerns, they had a lack of knowledge and communication.In regards to the window, they were going to charge us an additional $250 to inspect plus the cost to repair, only to find out when we picked up the car, THE WINDOW WORKED FINE. They were going to charge us for something that wasnt even broken to begin with. Even though their paperwork showed pre-existing conditions there was nothing wrong and they were trying to squeeze more money out of us. Terrible experience, I even have a friend who works at another dealership say Concord is the worst one for service, they do this all the time NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE

Comment: The maintenance was performed in a timely window and clean rental provided for duration. Staff was mostly friendly. This is why I am giving the rating higher than I should. However, when I received my car back it was filthy on the outside and the windows had been left open letting tree parts in the inside on the seats and floors. My car appeared to have been parked underneath a messy tree for the week it was at the dealership. Not only this, but they was a melted candy wrapper in the cupholder and some of my vehicle settings had been changed on me. During a previous maintenance visit to another dealer in the area, they cleaned my car inside and out before returning it to me. I had to get a full detail and car wash after this visit. Ruined the experience.

Comment: The prevalence of both one star and four-five star ratings sums up my dealings with Concord Chevrolet for service over the last 4+ years. When you actually can get their attention, the work has been good, personnel are generally courteous, and the courtesy driver is great. However, - a huge HOWEVER - reaching people within the service department and more importantly, getting service questions answered, is so consistently awful that it cancels out most of the good feeling. I have had questions I have tried to get answered about recalls, scheduling and operation of the CarPlay feature that I could not get answered without personally going into the dealership to compel face-to-face discussions, and sometimes not even then. Multiple voice- and emails to the service manager have never once been returned. Sometimes I just give up. In that respect the service is by far the worst I have ever experienced in over 50 years of car ownership. Although I love my Bolt, this experience will make me avoid ever buying another Chevrolet.

Comment: I recently shopped completely online with Concord Chevrolet. I was so happy with the transaction. Julian made everything almost too easy. He had my car ready for a test drive when I showed up, and then talked to finance to hold the car for me while I completed the sale of different vehicle. I was able to pick the vehicle up on my way to an out of town trip. The car was detailed and ready to go when we got there. We had already done all the paperwork electronically, so we were in and out in under 5 minutes. I told them that they actually make it too easy to buy a car. I got a great deal and Julian really went above and beyond to ensure that I was aware of the condition of the vehicle. He made me a video of the car, before I drove to the dealership, because I lived out of town. The management is customer focused and it shows from the sales staff to finance dept. It was the best transaction I have done for a car. Ask for Julian, you won’t be disappointed.

Comment: I like the sales advisors, especially Eric Usher. Only complaint is my 2020 Chevy Bolt that will be discontinued this year insisted charging me $60.00 for rotating 4 tires. Even with discounts, I Paid $400+ for changing out brake fluid, two minor filters and also for ANOTHER recall for faulty seatbelt restraint that required Chevys attention The labor was over 3/4 of the bill. Amazing.I love the car but have had to survive through the battery replacement recall which defeated the purpose of having an EV that I could really use, or, park in my garage and even many parking structures. Finally got the new battery after over 18 months and now they will be discontinued and replaced with a newer battery for trucks. The Bolt is a specialized vehicle where you cant take just anywhere. Hard to believe I was charged $60 for rotating 4 tires. I hope Chevrolets corporate Bolt Customer Service sees this.

Comment: On 4/24/23 I called the dealership and asked if it would be OK to have the vehicle towed to the service department. After being told yes, I did so. I explained the problems and what I did to fix it. Anthony, then explain that after market parts, don’t always work or are except it by the vehicle’s computer. After the part was ordered, I was told the vehicle will be ready on 5/2/23. After waiting nine days. I was told by Greg, that I had to wait longer because the technician was replacing a motor in another vehicle. I asked him, being that it takes about an hour to replace the (CPS) crankshaft, positioning sensor. Why don’t you complete that service first. He replied, because that vehicle came in first. He then rudely cut me off in the conversation stating he will have his manager call me back. When I asked to be transferred to the manager. He stated he’s around here somewhere he’d have to go look. I told him I’d wait. After five minutes, he returned saying he could not find him, but he will call me back at the number listed. While I voiced my concern Greg, then hung up in my face. After three minutes, the manager calls and the vehicle was ready for pick up at 4 o’clock on 5/3/23. At $250 per hour and $48.67 for the part I was charged $927.36. Subtracting $48.67 that leaves $873.95 divided by $250 equals 3.4958 that’s about 3 1/2 hours labor. It took me less than an hour to remove the OEM and install the aftermarket part. Do I believe I was ripped off after being disrespected? Yes!

I felt like all of his assistance and suggestions were in my best interest and not to abuse my lack of knowledge of vehicles for company financial gain. Lets not insult each others intelligence by acting as if upselling doesnt exist. His ability to treat customers in this way is invaluable and should be honored and recognized. With that being said the actual services that Ive received on my vehicle, on several occasions, has been speedy and convenient. Comment: I dropped off my truck at 0730 for a $79.95 oil change and tire rotation, presented the coupon to the service writer only to be told that did not apply to pickups and the charge would be $129.00 However, he had a coupon for $20 he could apply. I ended up paying $109. and change. Very disappointed.After this posting I was contacted by the Service Manager who was very polite and understanding. My concerns were acknowledges and validated. My next tire rotation and oil change special will be on the house. As we love our 2017 Colorado with plans on keeping it for several more years, this solution and some additional training for the service writer is agreeable.

What awful service all around from Eric and Ryan (to a lesser degree). Every time we went in there was no one around to help and a long line of similarly annoyed customers. Ive called every day 9-5 this week and have not been able to speak to a human to get the windshield fixed. Submitting this report to the BBB. Comment: It took three days and 6 phone calls to schedule a service appt for a recall. I was constantly transferred to service reps and either disconnected, or looped back round to an admin who could not help me schedule. After missing a call back, I called back and was no further in the process and needed to leave ALL my info and wait for another call back. Just a terrible process. Id prefer to do it by email honestly...And you need a better customer experience plan when I get into the service bay. Four guys sitting, looking at their computers at 8AM, no one making eye contact, or even noticing that I just parked my car in front of them. I was asked to make an appointment, but no one seemed to be expecting me. Finally after someone shouted, asking if they could help me—the only rep who seemed to actually acknowledge any/all customers—I was able to get my car checked in.I was told the recall service should take until about noon. I gave the rep my cell phone number and he said hed call me when it was done. I decided to stay in the area for the 4 hours it would take, and after not getting a call, I called at 12:45PM to check on status. Again, I could NOT get a service rep on the phone but luckily the admin was able to tell me she thought the car was ready, and would have the rep call me. He called 5 minutes later to indeed tell me the car was ready. Isnt that what we was supposed to do in the first place???Not a fun experience. Especially on a RECALL. Look, WE dont want to bring our car in and leave with it you for a day, without a rental offered, as much as YOU seem to not want to have to deal with the recall.

Looking for specifics in the vehicle he was able to meet our needs.One thing i would like to address is finance i expected a faster service knowing I came in with a check for the full amount of the truck. Finance still had me run my credit and went through the process like i was financing the truck through the dearlership, when the check is coming directly from my credit union. This process should not have taken longer than 30 minutes instead it was more than an hour.

Comment: Poor customer service. My $100k chevy broke down in the parking lot line in front of 2 service advisors. When I approached 1 walked away and the 2nd refused to check me in @ 5:46 pm stating the dealership was closed. The hours are until 6pm. I explained to the advisor his manager told ne to bring the car back when the problem reoccured to capture the error code. Advisor asked me what did I want him to do about it. I replied do your job please. I had to insist he try to track down someone in service. He walked into service and found the shop foreman who assisted me. The shop foreman also asked the advisor to check me in and he again refused. This is not my 1st bad experience at this dealership.

Comment: I trust our advisors Anthony and Gil and technicians such as Kyle at Concord Chevrolet, I brought my truck in because we were afraid our transmission may have had a leak or seepage. They very honestly informed me that my transmission showed no signs of leaking. My technician Kyle also helped me to understand why my transmission sometimes lurches when I have to brake hard on the freeway then gas hard. He really knows these truck engines inside and out and that is so comforting. Bora, our cashier, was very professional and friendly. And when we were informed the truck was ready, it was the service manager who jumped in to retrieve our truck for us! All in all, a great team at Concord Chevy that I look forward to working with whenever my truck needs service!

Comment: The Finance Manage, John Cooper, is not honest in the extended warranty program. He urged us to buy extended warranty by waving a bag of electronic parts that will break down easy. He offered 7 years 55,000 (or 56,000) miles extended warranty at $4.9K plus tax saying that its an employee discount, the best so we got it. Other Chevrolet dealership called me about their Bolt being in stock a day after we purchased at Concord Chevrolet. I asked them about the extended warranty. For 7 years, they have 120K miles at $3.9K. So I called another dealership, its the same and it will be even cheaper for 100K miles. I felt being cheated so I emailed John about it. I called the sales about the anti-theft protection and told him I emailed John and asked that he had him reply to me. Its been over a week but he hasnt responded. He probably doesnt care or expect a customer driving an hour 15 minutes away to go back for future business, although I planned to buy another Bolt in 2023 when its eligible for tax credit. This is our second car purchasing at Chevrolet but has the worst experience from all car dealership. We are very disappointed to the Concord Chevrolet.

I had also ordered a 2023 Silverado. I was told it was ordered and would arrive in November. I’ve asked for a status at least ten times, though emails, voicemails, texts, etc over the last couple weeks. I’ve heard nothing. No update. Not a word. I’ve been told several times someone will contact me. And still nothing. Bottom-line with this dealership. If you want to buy a car from them, it’s going to take significant efforts from you, significant time, several people, and may or may not result in a positive outcome. Wish it was easier. Seems like it should be. At least for me, I’m tired of asking and making way more effort than should be required to buy a car. There are simply too many other dealerships that actual want my business (and yours.)Also, the GM who posted the note about contacting him directly, never took my call or spoke with me. He passed my call on to someone else, who passed me to someone else, who passed me to someone else (you get the idea.) I was told those could not be removed. Then told that the lease interest rate (money factor) is the equivalent of 9.75% (which is insane during any economic time). Nonchalant/uninterested attitude towards selling the car, reaching a deal, or providing service (I had to drive the communication otherwise nothing would ever happen.) I had two other cars ordered with them that I will now take to another dealership whos interested in working with me. Sad to experience such poor service. Seems like the whole world is turning lazy, and worst of all, nobody seems to care.

In May 2022, I got a oil change, tire rotation, and break check for $63. Now, in October 2022 (6 months later), I had to add on the tire rotation/break check service onto my oil change and that came out to be $140. Really, a nearly $80 increase for basic services? While I’ve always taken my car to the dealership for all services, I’ll be looking elsewhere moving forward for routine maintenance due to the price increases.

Comment: The entire buying process took more than 4 hours to complete. Its hard to believe that in this day and age it should take this long. So much paperwork! I hope theres a plan in place to take the process digital. Seem like everything could have been done on an iPad. While I appreciate the vending machines, my partner and I were hungry and cranky by the time we left the dealership. Sales folks were fine, not great, not terrible. This was my first new car in 20 years and didnt feel the excitement from the staff. It would have been nice if they took the time to freshen up the car before we drove it off the lot. There was paper and stickers inside, and the first thing I had to do was drive my new EV to a gas station and put air in one of the tires. Overall, the experience was just ok. Comment: After a month of searching for a Bolt EUV and finding out the dealers adding “market adjustment” on the available Bolt EUV in the bay area, i was ready to purchase one out of state willing to sell at msrp. It was a relief to get a call from Jag Samara. Jag called when one became available and made the entire purchase process straightforward. No pressure to come “right away” or lose the car. I said i can come later in the afternoon to purchase the car and we agreed to that. He was honest with the pricing at MSRP with Spartan protection and wheel locks. I did not want the spartan protection, and he easily removed it. No negotiation required.Again, very honest and straightforward with the sale and is very easy to reach/responsive. After sales service is great also. Found the weather stripping coming off already and he ordered the replacement part right away. I might even add that based on my previous dealership experience, this one is the easiest and quickest transaction.Consumer market is different now, but i would for sure reach out to Jag first for my next car purchase. Highly recommended to give him a call at concord Chevrolet

Was contacted by service person named Anthony and was advised that my car would be diagnosed and serviced on Wednesday August 3. Towards middle of the day Wednesday I began calling leaving messages inquiring about status of my vehicle with no response from anyone from Concord Chevrolet. Friday August 5th again I call Concord Chevrolet several times leaving multiple messages advising that I havent heard from anyone since Monday August 1st and what like to know the status om car. After multiple calls I was advised by operator that Anthony was with a customer and would call me back shorlty. After a hour and half with no call back I finally made a call again to Concord and Chevrolet and asked to speak any manager whom ever was available to advise me status of my vehicle. Spoke with service manager Ryan and advised of the horrific unprofessional encounter I have endured simply by bringing my car to be service by Concord Chevrolet. I explained that I have been with out transportation and had plans for coming week. I was advised that Anthony was checking to see if there were rental cars available since there were no loaner car available, no one followed up with until Saturday toowards end of day in which case Anthony advised a loaner car was available if I could make it before 5pm. At that time I requested that car be left with salesperson so I could pick up, I was told that couldnt happen and i could pick up loaner car sometime on Monday if they are unable to fix. Just contacted again by Anthony today which is now Monday August 8th and have been advised that my car will not be fixed today and that i could pick up loaner car if i could make it before service department close, again I askedcould car keys be left with Concord Chevrolet sales department since they would still be open until I got off work, again i was told no.Dont know when my care will be available so therefore I will wait and see what happens next.Besides the last 2 brand new Chevrolet cars my wife and i bought from Concord Chevrolet having on going issues this customer service I have reviewed from Anthony and Concord Chevrolet takes the cake therefore I for one have no intention on purchasing another Chevrolet car and will ask my friends and family at the very least not to spend their hard earned money with Concord Chevrolet because I definitely will not.

One time in particular my car was broken into on the lot after being held for several days after my car was ready; due to me not being able to retrieve my car because I was out of town. My car was ransacked, the window was shattered, parts of the frame and siding were bent or warped and internal parts like the trunk cover was damaged as well as property inside stolen. They promised to repair the damage so they asked that I not reported to my insurance Carrier. While they did fix the window and paneling. They did not replace anything else damaged. After that incident I no longer wanted to take my car here. However Ive had 2 major damages done to my car and this is the closest one to my house within a drivable distance so I tried to call to set up an appointment to have these 2 issues addressed as they would be paid for by both my insurance and AAA; as AAA was one of the causes of 1 of the incidents and the other 1 is covered under my insurance. I was trying to call in And talk to someone about setting up an appointment but it seems to be the last thing this place wants as Ive called several times and Ive been hung up on 6 times in the last 30 minutes so the last few times I tried to use different parts of their automated line but that came to nothing as well. The last 2 calls I Screen recorded me calling and being hung up on as well as being sent to a automated voicemail. Customer service is non existent at this dealership do not bring your car here! You will most assuredly regret it.

Comment: First, I had an appointment scheduled at 10a.m. My truck was not serviced (just to bleed brakes) until after 2pm, then charged $70 for brake fluid and $270 for labor on something that took literally a half hour (I know how long it took because I was given text updates when they started working on it, then when it was complete). When I set the appointment up, I was told it was a 10am and stay and wait - that means I would have sat there for 5 hrs - Pretty sure you would be just as disappointed, upset, and angry about the service and price. An advisor happened to be there and kindly accepted and sign in my truck to get it looked into by their technicians. My service advisor instead told me that they might be able to take care of the recall that day. Instead of accomplishing what I had brought my car in for I was told that it took several hours of research for them to realize that the recall would take a minimum of one business day to complete.When I asked why the oil change and tire rotation wasnt done I was told that the mechanic was almost off and wouldnt have time to complete it. I originally dropped my car off around 1:00 pm.

He made everything super easy, hassle-free, worked with me to get everything I wanted without breaking the bank or wasted time haggling back and forth. Did most of deal through text before I ever stepped foot on the lot. Which was great for my busy schedule. I arrived and he had multiple trucks lined up ready for me. I made my choice, already had my payments ready to go, and was in and out of the dealership within 90min! Longest time was me deciding which truck I wanted. Comment: You can look up my records to understand what a difficult time I have had with my Truck. Dublin Chevy told me they couldnt get the part and it could be 6 months or more to fix....and I couldnt drive it because of the airbag issue! I took it to San Leandro Chevy and they turned me away because they said it was serviced by Dublin and I had to stay with Dublin! I called Concord and Eric told me to come down and San Leandro was in the wrong. Long story short....they got the part I was told could not be purchased...it took them two tries but it was fixed within a month or so! Thanks to Eric and his staff!!!

I appreciated that Jag, the salesperson who helped me, asked for my lease trade-in info and gave me a quote before I even got to the dealership. The finance person was very transparent with all the costs and how they figure into the monthly payment, even letting me see two option on mileage and how they affected my payment. Comment: We contacted the dealership when we received the notice for the recall and scheduled an appointment. They had no knowledge that all they needed was my vin to process the battery order. I arrived for my appointment and they said its a 4 hour procedure which soon turned in to all day, and then overnight. I informed them that based on the info they provided that I was not prepared not have a vehicle, so they proceeded to get me a rental. Soon after I arrived home in my rental they called and told me that I can pick up my vehicle because they dont have any batteries to install and the first step was to get the VIN number to order them from GM( which could have been done as soon as I arrived or before they even scheduled the appointment). I returned to the dealership to exchange the rental for my vehicle where they informed me that my batteries had been ordered and they will contact me when they arrived. 15-20 passed when they called and told me the batteries are in and we scheduled the appointment for the service. This time they said they would need the vehicle all day for the service so I was more prepared and scheduled a ride. I dropped off the vehicle at the dealership and received a call from them 4-5 hours later stating that all they had to do was get the VIN number to order the batteries from GM. I was in disbelief an informed them that this was exactly what happened the first time my vehicle was there for this service. They were just as confused but stated the batteries were not ordered on the first visit but are now. Once again! Theyll contact me when my batteries arrive. 15 days or so and the dealership contacts me to come in for the service and the batteries are in their possession. They stated they would need the vehicle all day so thats how I was prepared. I called 3 times throughout the day without ever reaching my representative and leaving voicemails. They never called back or ever gave an update so I had someone drop me off at the dealership to find out the status of my vehicle. When I finally was able to speak to someone face to face, they told me the vehicle had to stay overnight. I informed the representative that never had they mentioned that and I needed a car to travel the following day on Christmas Eve. They were lucky that the rental agency had one vehicle left. The service department was open on Christmas Eve and they still did not finish the service. The service department obviously was closed for Christmas and the following day (Sunday) so I had the rental for 5 full days. The dealership has almost no knowledge of the recall and what the battery charge is supposed to be after the service. This was the most unprofessional encounter for this type of commerce. Its amazing the the complete lack of performance and preparedness. I understand mistakes happen but this is beyond that.

We are out of state residents so the process was a little bit more of a headache than we anticipated. Our salesman AJ was great, he had excellent communication and always made sure to keep us reassured about the sale. Would highly recommend him again. When it came to the financing side they seemed a bit lost as to what to do for out of state customers. The financing lady could use a little more customer service however. I’m not sure if she was preoccupied with something but she rushed through all the paperwork and didn’t explain anything. While I appreciate fast service I also kind of felt like she rushed through so fast to hide something. Whether or not that’s true it’s just the way my husband and I felt as we left. The users manual was not helpful in this regard.I also had an unresponsive center control screen worked on. From a 1.5 week estimate to 1.5 days, great work guys.The reason for limited stars is based on the customer service of those at the main desk. Before coming into the dealer I made 8 calls and left 3 unanswered voicemails regarding my issue and need for a loaner vehicle. Both a male and female employee were very rude and I never actually got to speak to anyone in the service department all. My wife is happy (Happy Wife, Happy Life) and thats all that matters! I received great follow up at the end by the General Manager. Yes... the GM wanted to ensure I received a great experience. This is a hands on service dealership where even the supervisor come out to help with sales and experience if needed. I was given a loaner car while my vehicle was being detailed and tailored to my wife’s expectation and it was an experience of, “What can I do for you!?” I like that. They don’t give you options to pick from to satisfy your experience, they ask you directly for your preference! With my horrible credit my expectations were low. This time though I researched ahead of time to find a car that meets my needs. I needed the highest rated most inexpensive car possible. Even with my credit concerns my sales associate was excited for me and quelled my fear. Im very happy with the ease of the process. We were actually able to get the paperwork finished before I arrived via text. I hope he erases every thing I sent, ha ha ha... But not joking. I wish I could have had some wiggle room on the price, but it was already brought down as low as possible which is over 3k below MSRP. He was able to get me a lower rate for my car loan than Ive ever had before. Im very grateful for the help today. This was the least painful car buying experience Ive ever had. I didnt feel steered or pressured and I drove off in exactly what I wanted without having to sacrifice anything. Thank you Johnny@concordchevrolet for a good experienceUnfortunately their repairs department is the worst and it IS sad to need them just months after a new purchase so I also wouldnt recommend buying a Chevy Spark. So small but the awful is in how many sharp edges it has. Comment: I own a 2010 Camaro SS and I brought it to Concord Chevrolet to get the electrical problem fixed that was caused by a defective part that GM has been sued over once already & getting ready to get sued over it again. Cause GM sold the car knowing it had this defective part and knowing that these parts were going to fail before their time. Jim is the guy I worked with at Concord Chevrolet. He charged me $4,000 to replace the whole wiring harness. He charged me double what the wiring harness really cost. It cost $260 and he charged me $500, then $3,500 for labor. After giving them $4,000 when I got my car home I discovered that the cover to my engine was in the trunk of my car. I guess my $4,000 wasnt enough for them to be able to put it back together the way I dropped its off. My heat shield was never put on to protect the wires from melting again so id have to go get it replaced again in another six months. I feel that they set me up to have it fail again in the near future. I was very unsatisfied with the service and the attitude from their service team.

Comment: By far the worst service I have ever received. My so called sales person was Sara. You would think that they would provide great service to a person spending 45K on a truck. On my initial visit I was told they would hold a vehicle because thy sold out of the color I wanted. I showed up on the agreed upon day and they sold it. I was given the excuse they dont hold cars its first come first served. I then had to settle on a color I didnt like. Buy the time the sale was completed I was advised the detail department was closed and my spare key was locked in the parts department. With that being said I now had to drive back to get the car detailed and pick up my spare key. Wait theres more. When I showed up for the detail and spare key I waited over a hour after my lackluster sales rep said it would only be 30 mins. When the car was done there were water marks all over and still protective plastic and tape left. This place really needs to get it together and put the customers first. Dont let the prices lure you in. The customer service will make you regret it.
