I had the diamonds from my engagement and anniversary rings reset into a setting that I designed with the outstanding assistance of Kathy Curley at Cooper & Binkley! I absolutely love how it turned out. The service is second to none at C&B. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth every penny. Highly recommend Cooper & Binkley. Kudos to Mark and Barb!
My husband and I brought my wedding ring in for resizing. The staff was very helpful and kind. They even welcomed that we had our 1 year old daughter with us. We were told it may be a few weeks until the ring was ready due to some renovations they were having done to the business. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was ready just 1 week later! The ring looks beautiful. You can’t tell that it was resized.
Cannot thank Rachael and the staff enough for the beautiful engagement ring and feeling of support and assistance along the process of choosing a ring, setting and stone. This was initially a daunting process to me, however at Cooper and Binkley the process was so smooth, we felt supported along the way and never felt pressured or that we were being pushed in any direction, and the setting and stones were absolutely gorgeous. I brought in some watches that needed new batteries and was very pleased with the service I received. The sales people I encountered when dropping off and picking up were both kind and courteous, and the watches worked great, too! My watch band was broken (before I had dropped them off) and they even offered to help me find a replacement.
Rachel approached me in the store and was very helpful in helping me pick out graduation gifts. I saw something for myself and told her my birthday is coming up that maybe I’ll send my husband back. She rang up my purchases and offered to clean my wedding ring. Then as we said our goodbyes she said she added the necklace I looked at to my wish list so my hubby will know what I had my eye on. I thought that was pretty cool.

I took my wedding ring for repair and am beyond satisfied! I wear my ring HARD! LOL a huge corner was missing from my major emerald stone and gold was missing from my channel set diamonds! My emerald was replaced and gold was added to avoid future issues. Absolutely beautiful l strive to use family owned businesses and would recommend them to all. Customer service is above and beyond. I had 3 small very sentimental diamonds that I wanted to create a ring with. I had gone to a different local jewelry store first and did not get the experience or help I was looking for.I had just the experience I was looking for here. I had some ideas and Mark helped me create exactly what I wanted. He emailed me different designs, had me come in and look in person and then made me the perfect ring I wanted, its perfect and I wear it everyday!
I’ve had my ring (not purchased from there) repaired twice. Super friendly staff, quick repairs, and both times my ring has come back better than the day I received it! They are definitely my go-to jeweler in Brighton.

Excellent!!!We bought our rings at Helsburg and after we got married we asked them to sodder my ring and resize my husbands ring, they told us that we needed to leave our rings with them and they would send them out to get that done and that it would take 6-8 weeks! Neither of us were willing to be without our wedding rings for that long. Someone recommended Cooper & Binkley to us, so we came out here and talked to Kathy. We asked about how long it would take,he told us that they would be done by Friday (this was Tuesday). She call us the NEXT day and told us our rings were ready! What a difference! Incredible fast service and everyone in the store was so friendly!! If I could rate them higher that 5 stars I would!!
Cooper and Binkley were such an amazing find for me. My engagement ring had been fixed elsewhere and when it came back something was wrong. A couple of the stones looked grey not white and I didnt know what to do. Other jewelers suggested replacing all of the stones, especially because I chose moissonite rather than diamond. They cleaned the ring and said it probably wasnt worth replacing.I was crushed but C&B offered a second opinion. They respected my choice of moissonite and they understood how important my ring was to me and offered the best advice. I was headed out of town and they worked with my schedule, promising to finish early and without an extra cost. They even noticed it was a little big and said they would try to resize it when other jewelry repairs and said it wasnt possible. In the end the ring just hadnt been cleaned properly. It looks just like it should after their wonderful service.Thank you!

I needed to have a cocktail ring sized. It had been given to me by my dear mother-in-law. Arthritis has caused my knuckles to enlarge in recent years and I could no longer wear the ring. She passed away recently and I knew it was time to make it wearable again, because she would want me too. I picked it up today and it was sized to fit perfectly and sparkled like crazy! The jeweler assisting me offered to have my wedding ring cleaned while I waited, so they would both sparkle. The resizing of my ring was a minor repair, but the jewelers at this store make everyone feel special and important, no matter how much they will be spending. I highly recommend Cooper & Binkley.

It has been a wonderful experience shopping at Cooper & Binkley! We purchased my wedding ring through them and they provided a safe, welcoming environment and staff who helped me find the ideal ring. Even after the ring had some issues (not their fault, the ring I purchased is fabricated elsewhere) they were very helpful in addressing the problem, sending it out for repairs, and getting it returned in a timely manner.
The staff at Cooper & Binkley are extremely helpful. I had an heirloom diamond necklace repaired and cleaned; it was finished when stated and was beautiful! I never felt rushed as I dreamed about a Mothers ring, the staff was very patient and suggestive. I will be purchasing said ring next year.

All the staff was very helpful and friendly even though it was quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. No high sales pressure to purchase more than what I went in the store to buy.I purchased a Citizens wrist watch. My wrists are very small so a lot of patience and skill was needed to correctly adjust the band to fit.I have purchased products from the store throughout the years. I am pleased to say they have the same customer service for people like me who do not have a need for jewelry as they do for the people coming in to purchase high end products.I certainly recommend Cooper & Binkley Jewelers.

I was very pleased with service to repair a money clip that had high sentimental value and had failed from repair at another jeweler. So far so good.Also, great advice on what to do with a family ring of intricate woven gold - Do Nothing - don’t resize- or it will likely fall apart. And, it has lasted many years with little wear even though worn many years. So, can wear on a gold chain or give to family member with same size finger. They cleaned it for no charge.

I went to Cooper and Binkley when my wedding bands were shifting from my wedding ring. This had happened multiple times and I was ready to take the ring to someone who could actually fix it. Another great experience here buying jewelry! Lindsey helped me pick out the perfect gold chain to layer with the other two that I already had. She also made sure to clean the rest of my jewelry and was so patient as I changed my mind and tried different necklaces on. I love this jewelry store! No pretentious feeling when you enter and I’m always warmly greeted by all the staff. Kathy took my rings back for cleaning then showed me what was on sale and we talked about my rewards. Last year i put items on a wish list and my husband purchased one for my Christmas gift Which left me with reward money to use. We have been shopping at Cooper & Binkley for many years. I generally make a wish list before Christmas to give my husband some help. Otherwise, we always head there for gifts for our daughters and grandchildren. I am comfortable knowing they can exchange the item if they choose. I seem to have acquired quite a collection of Duclos...light, delicate and intricate. The staff is always helpful with choices and adjustments.
As per usual, Cooper & Binkley took amazing care of me. Not only did I receive a gift card as part of one of their very kind and generous giveaways, I also got a very nice 25% off my purchase (even though I used my giftcard). Brie was lovely to work with. She was almost as excited as I was about the gift we picked out for my husband!! Mark came out and gave me the specs on the gift that I was looking at, he even cleaned my (very dirty) wedding ring for me. Brie offered, and was (again) excited to wrap my purchase. Just all around amazing experience. This small business is one of a kind. They take pride on being the best, in their small town, and in their personal service. I recently worked with Kathy to size and order a Lashbrook ring that I had designed using Lashbrooks website. With her assistance, it turned out way better than I was hoping!She also helped us get my wifes ring fixed. It was a custom ring her grandmother designed. The staff handled it with care, and did a fantastic job fixing all the loose fittings and polishing it up.Im not much of a jewelry guy, but I will 100% be returning when the need arises!

Excellent customer service as I was greeted upon entering and assured that someone would be with me shortly. Mark was very knowledgeable in the jewelry designers..style differences…price.. and was willing to offer me a deal I couldn’t refuse.
I went there to pick out a high quality cross necklace for my daughters graduation and the salesperson was very friendly, and helpful. She asked me what price range I was looking for and she steered me in the right direction. The cost was $100 cheaper than a similar one at Medawars. It was a 14 carrot gold necklace and cross. I also mentioned that my other daughter wanted to give her something special so she gave me some less expensive ideas for cute charm bracelets. I would highly recommend.
Had a very pleasant experience at Coopers. The staff are knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. They walked me through the process of buying an engagement ring and helped me build a ring that my fiancée loves. They didnt try to sell me a diamond but rather helped me pick out the diamond I wanted, teaching me about the ins and outs of diamond quality along the way. Definitely recommend paying Coopers a visit.
I walked in having an idea of what I was looking for and was going to check with a couple other jewelry stores in the area to compare pricing. However, after the top notch customer service I received from their Sales Manager Brie, I walked out with my mind made up that I wasnt going anywhere else. I have been shopping at Cooper & Binkley Jewelers since I moved to Brighton almost 9 years ago. The quality of their products is not only amazing but they carry some of the most unique pieces that always reach out to me when I am shopping for others as well as myself. They also seem to have some kind of magic in cleaning my wedding rings that make them sparkle like the sun while I shop. The thing that stands out most however, is the incredible customer service. The employees there are so incredibly genuine, kind and patient and they always take any amount of time to talk through what you are looking for. It never feels rushed or snobbish as some jewelry stores can be and when they didn’t have the specific skill set to fix a very specific brand of watch for my husband they gave me a list of recommended businesses that specialized in that brand so as not to risk damaging something important. That type of service when they could just “wing it” and take advantage but choose to help the customer instead is why it is the only place I will go for repairs and to shop for jewelry. If there were a 100 star rating I’d be giving that for sure.
It was a wonderful experience I had my wedding ring put back together. It was after a fall that I had fractured 3 fingers and had to have them remove it. When going to pick them up they looked brand new after 24 years of marriage.

Mark understood the importance of an heirloom piece that belonged to my Father. One part of the most delicate components of the piece was initially thought to be unrepairable. This is why you should always Shop Local! I came in today as I have for many years to look for holiday gift ideas. While I was there, I asked if I could have my ring cleaned. Mark and his gemologists did a beautiful job making it look just like new, ans it was complimentary! I did find a beautiful gift as well, and the spirit of excellent customer service made me smile.

2022-06-05By far the best customer service you could ever hope for. We cannot say enough good things about the entire team at C & B. Kathy and Lindsey went way above and beyond making sure our rings were amazing. Between finding a perfect Black diamond for her or getting the correct size for my ring, they made sure we were informed and happy. Even going as far as ordering my ring in a different size 3 days before the wedding, and having it ready for us the day we were to leave for the weekend up north for the ceremony! I dont think anyone else could/would do this. Thank you all SO much for everything! We love supporting the local economy and could not think of a better outcome.

Incredibly fast turn time, too!I dropped off 3 rings for repair and resizing (one of which was a custom, gorgeous special order my husband got from them for our anniversary) AND a bin full of jewelry I inherited (just needed someone to go through it and tell me what was real and what was not).Mark made short work of identifying the real jewelry from the costume jewelry, my 2 repairs were done perfectly, and the resizing is exactly right!Ginny was pleasant and answered all of my questions.Will definitely shop here again.

2022-02-22This might be the first review I have ever written, and for good reason. My experience with Cooper & Binkley (specifically Kathy) has been nothing short of AMAZING. After having stopped in to several other jewlers around town, it only took me a couple minutes to decide that this was who I wanted to work with to pick out and design an engagement ring. I never felt like I was being sold on anything and that my business was only for their commission. Kathy was wonderful from the moment I walked in, and throughout the entire ring designing process. She was extremely creative and solely focused on creating something unique and special for us. I could not have been happier with the entire process, and the end result. Thank you!

They accommodated my crazy schedule for a jewelry repair too. Everyone is really friendly. I choose to support local owned companies but appreciate how supportive the owners are to the community. The staff is always friendly and helpful in a way that only a small local business can be. They have a very knowledgeable and approachable staff who is will to help and educate but not push. 2022-05-26Mark helped my fiance John create a beautiful engagement ring from a few photos we supplied. First a wax was made to ensure the design was just right. Then the ring was crafted and Mark set the center stone. The entire process was very easy and enjoyable. The ring is very beautiful and I am getting compliments daily.
