Awesome store. Tons of stuff to look at. If you cant find the souvenir you want, you want the wrong stuff. Great magnet, t-shirt, vintage signs, fudge and candy selection, coupled with local books and everything else U.P., Keweenaw, or Copper themed. They even have cute Christmas decorations ready to go home with you. Definitely worth the stop.
Love this store!! The owners are very friendly and helpful to out of towners inquiring about rocks!! Huge selection of UP, Calumet, rock and copper souvenirs. Plus so much more!! They even have a wonderful selection of Polish Pottery. They have just about everything. Very good quality also!!
Copper World is a feast for the eyes. Filled with beautiful clothes, jewelry, toys, home decor, art, souvenirs that are all very nice. I chose some coffee mugs, sweat shirt, pot holders and am going back for those copper earrings! This store is quality. Im from Colorado and it reminds me of Estes Park. Very well ✔ done.
Love that store! Owner very friendly & personable. Great helpful staff, & they have a great variety of gifts. Extra nice that connected with Calumet Mercantile & can walk back & forth from store to store. Stop on in. Im sure you wont leave empty handed. So many nice items plus clothing. 🙂
This is not your typical souvenir shop. We stopped here because we had seen positive reviews in Lake Superior Magazine. The selection of merchandise great, and of much better quality than most gift shops in tourist areas. Instead of trinkets made in China the gifts were unique and attractive. Definitely worth a stop!
This is one of the best souvenir shops and copper shops Ive ever been to I would recommend every tourist and even local whos looking for something unique and special to go here and the sales reps are so professional and informative I had a wonderful time there and I. Definitely will return
When you are on vacation in the Upper Peninsula this is the one place you have to stop at to fulfill your souvenir needs. This shop has been around for a very long time (since 74 I believe) I mean I shopped here when I was a kid! Now they have a great website where you can get the best thimbleberry jam around, sent to you almost anywhere in the country.
A great gift shop with wonderful staff! Theyre always excited to share copper country history. Every visit gives more insight into the past.Recently I learned of copper doorstops staff would take home that were worth $3 ... And now theyre worth $1,000!They have great items for sale and I usually leave with something that I send up using day to day.
My wife and I stopped here every day of our visit to the Keweenaw peninsula. Part of it was the amazing crafts, gifts, clothing, and various other items we could buy. The other part was the fudge! My wife was not too impressed by the fudge she had on our trip to Mackinac Island, but she loved the fudge here.
A level of service rarely experienced today! Personal, attentive, and always there to help. Their selection of gifts includes a lot of unique items you just dont find anywhere else. Its not like walking into yet another gift shop.I often stop by Copper World for great gifts for my family and friends.
We went to the UP first time ever! We absolutely love Copper World and cant wait to get back💕Hoping to talk the hubby into going up in the fall but I MUST get to Copper World and get more peanutbutter explosion fudge. It is the best ever!!! Maple nut is awesome also, keep up the great work!I am going to call and see if these wonderful people will send to me, to get me by...THANK YOU
Some of the coolest copper art that Ive ever seen. In the old days this was a boom town for copper mining. The boom was so big that more wealth was extracted from here in copper than gold was during the gold rush. The town, though a shadow of the boom town it once was, still has all the fantastic architecture that youd find down Michigan Avenue in Chicago. In the store youll find lots of full on sculptures and trinkets made from copper and other local rocks like sandstone (another big past export of the region). They also have a lot of books about the local history of the area. The owner is also super friendly and if you are looking for a great place to eat or drink (like Shutes) he will be happy to direct you.The prices for some of the bigger copper sculptures are a little high as you might expect for copper goods these days.Whether or not you want a souvenir, if you are in the area, this place is somewhere you should check out.

2020-09-15A cute store in downtown Calumet with neat souvenirs and clothing items. It’s actually three storefronts combined, so it’s easy to spend time here and to have a look about.

2018-03-03Been coming to the Keweenaw for 12 years, and just found this place after checking out the Copper Dog 150 race. Awesome place for anything Keweenaw or UP related. Awesome prices, and even found some Rice Lake and Little Traverse items! Definitely coming back!
