Woohooo!!! They have vegan sausage now, with vegan pepperoni on the way. Love their pizza only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, I got a thin crust and this time it was way too dark around the edges. But I understand why, lots of veggie toppings had to cook and since it was thin crust, the edges got really dark. Its not normally that dark, so Ill give them a pass on it this time.
This is the only place open past 10pm in the area! This is great for me since my lunch break is at 11pm. Its always very busy and the food is really good. The guy with a beard and glasses, I dont know his name, but he makes some of the worlds finest pizza, a true artisan pizza guy, and you can tell from his work. Overall this place does a great job. Wish the wings were a little better, but the pizza is like no other!
Worst Cottage Inn pizza we had in a while. Almost threw up. Tasted nothing like Cottage Inn. All ingredients were old. Too much sauce and only a little toping. Only 2 tiny peices of chicken per slice on a large pizza. Are you freaking kidding? Will never buy from here again. Be cheap and cheat customers you lose them fast.
The worst customer service and driver all in 1 night. The driver arrived 15 minutes late with a 60 minute window. 2 nino pizzas and 8 boneless wings arrived late and cold. Hearing driver Melanie say to another customer that she stopped to get plates because the store was out and there were deer in the way of traffic along the way became a major issue with timing Im sure.After spending the whole lunch break waiting on grandmother time to come 2.5 miles down the street with 3 small boxes, my other coworkers expressed their dissatisfaction and possible refund. Once a short break in my work subsided I called the south Canton cottage inn to make my complaint known. After being held on a 10 minute hold, manager Mike, as he stated his name was, was instantly rude and suggested I call corporate or whatever I have to do instead of acknowledging or apologizing for the fault of the driver/store and offering a refund.Needless I wont be ordering from this store ever again.
I order at 312pm on a Saturday. No update an hour and a half later. I called them and he said the delivery guy was on the way. The guy called and said it was delivered. I opened my door and it wasnt. I called the guy back and he didnt answer. I wanted to catch him before he got too far away. I called the store and told them my stuff wasnt there. The delivery guy answered and proceeded to tell me yes, he definitely delivered it. He told me the wrong address then lost connection. I wasnt able to get a hold of him again after that. I have been nothing but nice the whole time but this delivery guy was even arguing with the newest guy I was speaking to on the phone about how he definitely delivered it to my door and took a picture. I didnt want to try and look for it anymore so I asked for a refund. He granted it to me and I was satisfied. After my bank processed... No refund. Nothing but a crabby delivery driver who couldnt prove it to me where it was at. Lost $30. Just awful service

Ordered Calzones tonight. Terrible! Burnt in the top and bottom but soggy throughout. Meat was very salty. Just inedible! So disgusted with these places anymore. Just cannot get consistency. So disappointed.
Please improve the customer service experience at this location.I placed an pick up order at the pizzeria. I arrive and the guy said the order wasnt placed at that location on Michigan Ave in South Canton. He offered to prepare the items I ordered, saying itll take about 15 minutes. I declined. As I was walking out of the store, he said, the order was placed almost 3 hours ago, for Christs sake. This contradicts his early statement of not receiving my order. I tell him that I did place my order at that location. He says, I know you did. Your food is here too.I felt that I was treated unfairly. It was such an unnecessary slight. No apologies were offered because I felt he wasnt sorry. No phone call was given as a friendly reminder to pick up my order. It was as if he blamed me for picking up my order later. Im just glad I hadnt paid for my food.
My order wasn’t anywhere complete to my desire and I’m gravely disappointed with the outcome of my order! I can’t stand ordering delivery pizza (especially expensive pizza) that has no quality… all I can say is it qualified for the worst my chicken wings were barely cooked pizza not made to order at all! Overall 1 of the worst restaurant experiences in my life

Great food and great service!Absolutely the best pizza! They take in preparation and presentation. When I open the box I know Im going to have a treat. This is artisan work. This is what happens when caring people put their ablest efforts into their craft. My only disappointment is that I cant get over there every day for pizza, chicken, calzones and so much more!Hot and ready out of the oven!Great for parties and business occasions - and dinner and lunch and snacks and - great all around!
Ordered two pizzas while at work around 6pm. 40$. Was told 30 minutes.. an hour goes by I give them a call I get put on hold 15 minutes. Call back and was told they just left with my order and sorry they got busy. Place is less than 2 miles from my job, wait another 15 minutes and still nothing. Stuff like this happens but you need to offer something for peoples trouble.
Im a truck driver that was at the Costco distribution center the driver who delivered was dressed like maybe he was the owner. He was neat and friendly. The pizza was outstanding. Hands down the best pizza Ive tasted and Im a pizza hut lover. Ive never heard of cottage inn pizza and the only reason I ordered from them is because Dominos claim that they dont deliver to the location where I was which was 4 miles away from them. COTTAGE INN PIZZA had no problems delivering to my location and the pizza was 10 times better than any Dominos Ive eaten at. I highly recommend this place.
Dont give them your business. I used to give this place my business for the last 3 years. Pizza was good, fresh and 1 particular guy used to make the pizzas perfect. Then he quit. Its been a mess ever since.When I called tonight, someone answered the phone and said i dont care let them call back and then hung up the phone.I called back twice, they picked up the phone and hung it up.Then it went into voicemail.My last called ended up with a growl of anger in the background while they left the phone off the hook.I drove 10 mins down the road to another Cottage Inn.I only hope the people working for this person quit and get away from this problem and he gets help.

I typically don’t do reviews but I really felt it was necessary to do one today !!!!!!! I’ve been ordering from this location for 16 years now. And I will be honest there have been a few mistakes over the years which were all corrected very quickly always had wonderful experience with delivery I have never receive a cold pizza we receive most of our deliveries within 30 minutes of ordering there was one time it got to our door in 18 minutes could not believe it!!!!!!!! I had my father-in-law in town this weekend so we decided to pick up our order he can be a tad bit picky about what he eats and he wanted a certain white Parmesan sauce creation for his pizza he doesn’t eat pizza sauce so we want to give a special thank you to a gentleman named MJ Who knew exactly what my father-in-law was looking for and even though they didn’t offer it on the menu he had all the ingredients to make it my father-in-law was so excited he has been talking about this pizza nonstop since we’ve ordered so thank you to everyone at Cottage Inn for giving us so many years of positive experiences and making an old grouchy man happy we truly appreciate the team

Our first time ordering from this location will absolutely be our last. I placed an order for a pizza at 8:04pm, for pick up. I was told the order would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. My brother left our home to pick up the pizza and when he arrived, he waited around for someone to come to the counter to help him. He saw one person cleaning equipment toward the back but this person didnt respond at all when he asked for assistance. A delivery person walked into the store and ended up finally assisting him. The delivery person saw that the order was placed but the pizza was Never made. My brother decided to wait while the pizza was prepared and paid for the pizza at 8:37pm. He didnt leave cottage inn until after 9pm. Not only did this hinder our plans for the evening but the pizza was also not prepared correctly.

Terrible experience. I ordered hot wings and a large pizza and they messed up the sauce. When i called them to get a replacement, the manager denied to replace it and even threatened me saying I know where you live. I got so terrified that i called the police.
I ordered a lot of subs from this place and i love all of them. They are much better then subway or jimmy johns. I do like their pizza as well. I always pick-up when i order out so i cant tell how delivery is. Staff is always friendly. 4 stars--no sit down---*delivery
I normally order here all the time and never had a problem until tonight. I placed my order ordering half with one toppings and the other half with BBQ sauce chicken and onions. After waiting 45 min for my food I sat down to eat only to notice they put a whole bunch of bacon on one half. Mind you I never asked for it, I called to complain and was unhappy with the service and remake of my food. As Im explaining to the lady about how they messed up my order, she tells me relax accidents happen, thats one hell of an accident. She didnt offer to credit me back nor my next order free. Mind you my husband and I always ordered from there. So then I told them they might as well make my bread sticks fresh as well bc Im not eating cold bread...she didnt even want to do that for me but did anyways bc at this point Im even more pissed. Once they redelivered my order, I open the box only to notice they put half the cheese thats normally on it, under cooked the deep dish and bread. Like if you were so worried about losing money maybe you should of got the order right the first time or said that you didnt want to make my order over. Order number 0040!!!!
My thin crust pizza was over done. My pizzas are usually so good here. Called the manager and he was awful. Kept trying to tell me how it was as it should be. No sir Ive had them here to many times before for you to give me that feel. Then he says well I can redo your pizza and half cook it for you. I said good night and hung up. Poor customer service that night
Great service. Called in my order and then drove up in front of their door and they brought out my order to my car. The pizza was hot and delicious and so was my toasted sub.
I absolutely love this place. Every pizza ordered has been made right and made well. The service is great and usually on time. My favorite is the pesto primavera, add chicken. The pies are delicious and always delivered hot and fresh.

My sub had extra cheese like I asked and my bread sticks werent burnt on the bottom. They were perfect. The garlic cream cheese was very garlicky perfect. Nice and strong.
Recently, Pizza Hut, with superior pizza, stopped delivering. The Dominos tasted terrible and we had (note the past tense) fond memories of cottage inn, so we thought wed try ordering again.An hour and a half and still waiting for a delivery. Called after an hour and was told the driver left a few minutes ago. If youre not going to deliver my food, at least be honest with me.UPDATE: After an hour and forty minutes the pizza finally arrived. While the delivery driver was friendly and polite, the order was incorrect. Guess Im on the hunt for a new pizza place again.

I have moved into canton 2 years ago and didnt know if there was any good pizza places around so I figured I would try them all and see what one was the best. I started my hunt at cottage inn and the people there were so nice the girl behind the counter was so nice and kind (Amy) so made me an amazing pizza, faster also which is amazing would recommend there pulled pork pizza 100%! I order there every Saturday and I treated like family.
Don’t go here if you think it will be busy. I can understand slightly longer waits but I just doubled my wait while in the lobby due to an item missing. If I hadn’t asked for my order I’d still be waiting there.
Great pizza. I especially like the flavored crust and sauce drizzle options. More expensive than most places but its a nice treat every now and then.
Ordered the brand new Motor City Meatball pizza and had it delivered. It was awesome and among the best pizzas Ive had outside the greater New York City area. Since it was delivery, I cant really write about the decor, but its about the food anyway. Delivery was prompt and the pie was hot.
Good pizzas here if they get your order right. I ordered a spicy italian, but switched from italian dressing on the pizza to regular pizza sauce. Well guess what, they messed that up. I got home and had a pizza made with italian dressing. Ordered a side salad also, and added cheese on it, which costs extra, well they forgot that too. Like I said, they have good pizza, but be wary of ordering on a Sat afternoon when theyre busy.
Ordered my usual pizza which is always a deep dish. When I picked it up they had prepared a regular round pizza. When I noticed this fact I said this should have been a deep dish. The man behind the counter (Saul?) immediately commented that I never said anything about the pizza being deep dish (even though they can see my order history using my phone number). He clearly wasnt going to give me what I wanted and even made a sarcastic comment to boot, telling me...Im not a mind reader. I would have been able to forget the mistake regardless of fault. However, Sauls (?) immediate reaction was to be argumentative and sarcastic. He clearly doesnt care about his customers. For that reason I will no longer be a customer.

So, last night was a Tuesday. Cottage Inn pizza was supposed to be open until Midnight as per its usual hours. My boyfriend and I wanted a pizza and they were the only place open that late. I decided to make an account and order online. So, I did and I ordered the pizza at 11:08 and the online page said I could pick it up at 11:28, so imagine my surprise when I got to the location and they were closed. I have nothing against their pizza, but you can bet that I wont be going there again. Completely terrible. AND there was no sign or anything saying they would be closed early. Normally, I wouldnt really care or take the time to post a review about pizza, but quite honestly, I dont want this same situation happening to someone else who had a bad night and just wanted to pick up something quick.
I just ordered their for the first time last night. And delivery took over an hour to get. Even though I am right down the road from them. When the driver got here he had said another driver got into a fight so they were more concerned about that then making my order. So they give me extra food as a way to make up the lateness. I order a cinnamon bread and cheese bread. I will probably never order from cottage inn ever again. The cheese bread was nasty. And the cinnamon bread was ok. I’ll just stick to Hungry Howies. I actually asked for cinnamon bread with no icing and it came with icing. So the extra was a bread with icing and gave me one that didn’t have icing.
Absolutely the best ... we ordered carry out and theres nothing like it!!!! Cottage Inn is the best .. They got out order correct!!! We order carry out due to time and traveling across the freeway...outstanding my mom was satisfied we love the pizza, the favored crust, light sauce.... wings done with sauce on side and the cheese bread prefect... very satisfied, great customer service (charlie) we thank you ...

First night in town. Figured i would try this place they had papers all over the hotel so i figured they should be good. Called and ordered 1 hour later got the food. I should have just picked it up i didnt realize until afterwards that they were only 2 miles up the road. No clue why it took 1 hr for the food to get here. Food was fairly cold, also got charged a delivery fee to drive 2 miles, food was ok nothing out of this world that is for sure. They did have some good coupons but other then that the super long wait not worth it. If the food would have been hot and great then maybe worth the way but cant say i would recommend this place. Try some where else!

Have been told by a friend this is the worse cottage inn in Michigan. Ofcourse, I have to find out for myself. They put pork on my pizza after I asked for beef. For religious reasons, I cannot eat it. So I called back only to have someone argue with me that it was beef and they look and taste just alike. Sorry beef and pork definitely have different tastes. First and last time in there.
I ordered a extra large with anchovies at exactly 6:45pm, the pie was delivered around 7:30 as promised, the pie was also pretty good I may order from them again in the near future.
Placed a order on 4/13, received incorrect order, which resulted in me not eating dinner.called in and was offered a credit. Called in on 4/15 to order and what I ordered totaled to a $2 price difference. I asked if they could just replace my order with no charge considering I was inconvenienced and was told by the guy on the phone that he had to ask his brother, when I arrived at the guy gave me a total and I asked did he speak to his brother and I was totally ignored! I tried to small talk with the guy and he blatantly ignored me as if I wasn’t standing there! I felt I was not welcomed! This is a restaurant in my community and was scary and I got the most ire feeling! When leaving I told the guy with his brother standing 3 feet away that I would not return since I made him feel so uncomfortable and still no response!

2022-04-24Some of the reviews crack me up. Personally, I love this place. Best hand-tossed pizza in my opinion. Staff is very down to earth and hard-working. Been ordering from here for 6 years. Never had an issue with anyone here. A couple times I accidentally odered the wrong thing but hey, it was my fault and I made no noise about it. About to order the Flavorful Vegeterian again. Family Duo deal. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work and dont sweat the haters.

2021-04-11Delivery: thin crust large cheese. Arrived hot! Ordered well done and crispy it was! Not that cheesy and very greasy, had to paper towel the pizza all over to get some grease off. Good pizza but not great, I will not order from here again.

2022-07-03I had ordered from the north canton location however due to a mix up online that was not the case. When I went to the north canton, the staff member agreed that I ordered from them and got my order ready. A few hours later I get a call from this - the south canton location. The employee talking to me was extremely rude. I had apologized for any confusion and had explain the situation and how I too was confused. He refused to listen and hung up on me. As a customer, as someone who personally loves cottage in, I felt extremely disrespected and belittled. Especially since this was a mistake on the service side not mine.

2021-12-20I ordered online for curbside pickup. I arrived early, so I waited. When nobody came out, I called the store after it was 10 minutes late. I was told they dont do curbside, only corporate stores do and they are a franchise. I told them it was interesting because its an option every where I looked. They reluctantly brought it to me. The pizza was great. The cheese bread tasted like it had been sitting an hour. It was cold and tough. I will be calling to speak w the general manager to follow up.

2022-01-03Pizza was above average. Didnt skimp on the toppings. Prices were a few bucks higher compared to others but product was consistent. Wings were on point and had a lot of choices for sauces. Overall I was happy with this location in South Canton.

2021-08-04Room for improvement. I ordered a pizza sub, and the cryptic website by default does not process as pictured. As pictured it has cheese, green pepper, pepperoni, sauce, etc. I ended up with cheese and sauce on bread. I called to inquire and it was like there’s some unspoken prerequisite “yeah you have to pick toppings” and basically since I ordered it online apparently I’m just stupid and don’t know how to click all of the appropriate buttons in the right order.
