Comment: I have to give this place a review because I went to enterprise car rental prior to coming here as I went there they told me on the phone that my deposit would only be $100 and the rental would be 35 a day. I show up to enterprise and they wanted $300 deposit and 46 a day for the car, I called courtesy they had enough Pick me up not only did they pick me up but they got me in my rental for $100 deposit and my rental car is a lot cheaper than $46 a day The woman at the desk,(Lyndsey) and the gentleman that was at the desk Were so professional and so amazing. I’ve never felt so comfortable renting a car I felt like I was visiting family that is the best place to go to Rent-A-Car. They are really professional. They will help you get into something that you can afford. They’re clean they’re caring I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend it and being a 46-year-old woman that’s been in the military and traveled everywhere in the world. I could literally tell you this is the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. I absolutely love this place and Lyndsey at the desk she was absolutely amazing. I cannot thank you guys enough because right now I really needed a rental car and it was either getting into a car or losing my job so this place literally saved my life and they have the most amazing attitude and they’re so kind. I can’t thank you enough.

Comment: TERRIBLE! If I could give them a 0 star I would. I reserved a specific vehicle with them only to get there and they rented the vehicle I had reserved DAYS in advance to someone else. Once I walked in the lady who reserved my vehicle walked away and asked to use the restroom cause she knew they rented the vehicle she promised to me to someone else. Once I confronted her she then began to say that she didn’t promise anything and states she said she “she would try”. I would have never booked with them if she had told me she would TRY to get me a vehicle I came to reserve DAYS in advance. Once they handed me the contract, the lady who was making the transaction asked her co worker to read the contract to me cause I don’t speak english and she rolled her eyes. She then walked away and said “I can’t do this” the lady who was making the transaction snatched the contract and said she refused to service us. I continued to tell her that I just wanted an explanation for everything and she continued to yell and say I was “disrespectful” because I was confused on to why I didn’t get the van I reserved. She called the cops so we left and had to get the cops to get all out paper work and the contract we signed.

Comment: After a terrible experience at a popular nation wide chain car rental service when at 8:00am the morning of, the car I reserved a month in advance for a vacation trip was for some reason not available. On my way home upset with my wife I decided to swing by Courtesy as a last ditch effort to save our vacation. Not only were they open they were extremely nice, helpful and had a nice choice of vehicles to rent at decent prices. We were on the road in about 15 to 20 minutes. Vacation disaster averted!

But when I explained my situation, I was accommodated and in an enormously genuine way. I made my reservation and picked up the vehicle the next day. The vehicle I needed was reserved for the same day I would need to return it, but in the afternoon. I agreed to return it early morning, giving them enough time to clean and get it ready for the next party.The vehicle was in great condition and gave no issues. The employees were of great personalities and very professional and polite. All questions were answered and explained to be understood.Pricing was great for the size, quality and timing of my rental. My vehicle was left overnight in their lot with no issues or damages.I look forward to renting from here again and will continue to recommend them.

Comment: Got a rental covered through my dealership warranty. Picked up the car on Friday and the gas level was on full. Driven 4 miles out and the last bar of gas went out. Dropped the car on Tuesday and I pumped the gas until it had clicked. When I started the car the last bar was blinking on and off. Got to Courtesy to return the car the associate who helped me say the car was missing a bar and that the associate who was giving me a ride back would stop by a gas station for me to fill it up. Stopped by a gas station to fill up and it was almost $10.00 more into but the pump had stopped and was no longer clicking. The associate turned on the car and that last bar was still not showing up so she borrowed my phone to call her manager/associate who had helped me at the office to let her know what was going on. I was on a 30 minute lunch and I spent almost an hour trying to return the rental and picking up my car from the dealership all while trying to figure out the gas. For a Nissan Versa I dont think the gas would had been more than $22 to fill it up when the gas was more than half way full but I hope this get figured out for the next customer who rent. My point was to get your fuel gauge fix or know how your fuel gauge work to avoid the problem as in the response it was mentioned that 2 more gallons but yet it failed to read correctly.

Comment: I tried to support our local business and used Courtesy rather than Budget to rent a truck. PIck up time needs to be changed because someone else rented that truck. When we returned, they said we make a tiny dent and asked for $75.Make sure you take photos when you have the walk through and spot every little thing.The photo is to reply.Let your customer check it out and judge for themselves.If there are other customers who report the same spot/damage, we reserve to pursue our money back legally.This is what I remembered:Before I rent, I came to check out the truck and you said you will remove the bar in the bed because I need the full eight feet of length. I assumed I talked with you, the owner, who said your company could remove it.When we picked up the truck, the bar was still there. Luckily the cargo wasnt as big as we think.Apparently, when my dad who is at retirement age, picked up the car. The lady said dont worry about it. He spotted other spots too. Then he didnt pay much attention to the other spots.When he returned the car, another lady said she found it. My dads English and personality are not the argumentative type.And I know the owner has the power to ask the person who showed the truck to us whether she said it was ok.And the second point isAnd you contacted me regarding pushing back the time to pick up the truck because you have another customer.Being a small business owner myself, I want to help the local small business, but I want to make sure we play fair.We both know the turnover time is very short. How do you be sure the dent not caused by the previous renter?All three of us in the truck. My mom didnt drive. All three of us didnt purposely damage your truck.It would be nice to see the invoice of $75 which was quoted on the day of our return and the actual work was done to the truck.The location was told and shown on the picture. Hopefully your future customers will judge themselves.

Comment: I had a positive experience with Courtesy Car Renatl. The price is fair, the car was very clean, and the entire transaction was smooth. The only negative thing I can say is that I have never been given a certain amount of miles. I understand that is Courtesys policy and if I wanted more miles, I could have purchased more. In the past, whenever I have rented a car, I get the car and go. Aside from the specific miles allotted, I would definitely rent a car from Courtesy in the future.

I’m trying to relocate to Portland, Oregon on my means of my budget each month.. Since my last review and I didn’t updated in time, I had a better experience after another company turned me down due to short payment and my other company had to do a credit check? Really? It was about how horrible this company is and the refund that was supposed to be refunded to me because my spouse turned in the vehicle. I was supposed to keep it over the weekend but instead, my spouse returned it the next day because it was ridiculously priced. And then they didnt want to refund my money although I was in the hospital and he returned. They even had the audacity to TEXT me and tell me that I wasnt in the hospital. Unprofessional all around. Absolutely horrible thieving company. I wouldnt refer them to the Devil himself!!! Im sure this will be removed also. DONT DO IT! GO TO ENTERPRISE, THIS COMPANY ISNT WORTH THE HEADACHE OR HASSLE.I HATE to hit the one star button, because it was definitely in the negative!

Comment: As someone else posted here beware of your deposit. Deal in cash. I gave them my debit card for the deposit when the dealership gave me a rental car while my car was in the shop getting some warranty work done. When I turned in the car they said they voided the transaction so the money should have been left in my account. However the money was taken out and never returned. They could have just given me $50 in cash and been done with it but instead wanted me to either wait between 3 and 30 days for them to deal with their merchant services company(b of a) to try and get the money back. Either that or have a conference call with their b of a and my bank. How hard is it to just refund my money? I shouldnt have to jump through any hoops to get what is rightfully mine. They made a mistake, I didnt.Response to the owner...In no way have I done anything dishonest. They said they voided the transaction yet my bank had NO record of any void or refund. As of today it appears the money has been refunded(via a separate transaction, not a voided transaction as I was told), however that is still pending so I still dont have access to that money, a week later.

Comment: The rental process was smooth and easy, and I would have given it 5 stars, until it came to the return of my deposit. The deposit was made on a Thursday, the following Tuesday the money was still not refunded to my account. When I spoke with the attendant on Tuesday morning, she was very proud of having worked there for 4 years, and in admonishing me for being rude, and was quite effusive about her experience. Clearly, she was more knowledgeable than my bank, about the time it takes to refund money. Prior to this morning, I would have definitely recommended this business, now, Id say, dont hand your card to them, only deal with a cash deposit and make sure you walk out of the building with it. Hint to Courtesy, if a customer is upset, you might want to listen to them first, before you start telling them what an expert you are, and how much experience you have.

No matter how busy they are, you will get the same wonderful care from everyone in the building. I myself work as a driver and also am in the customer service field, so I know an outstanding business with outstanding people when I come across one and this business is at the top and could show others how to treat their customers. I always highly recommend this company to my friends and co-workers. I have actually put off purchasing my own vehicle for a bit longer because I am secure in the knowledge that Courtesy rentals will always be there for me when I need them. Even when I do purchase my own vehicle, I will still have to drop by now and then to say hello. You will too.
