Friendly and courteous staff. My repair required a part to be ordered, they kept me informed and the repair was done quickly.
I brought in a large format 12 k projector. The problem was analyzed quickly and accurately. The repair cost was fair for the work needed and the repair was completed within a few days as promised. I have used the projector many times since its return and it all seems to be back to factory specifications. I would recommend Craigs to others who need this type of work.
Good people, fair prices, and excellent quality service. Who could ask for more? Brought in a 25 year old Sony Video8 deck and it was brought back to life in less than a week! If you have older electronics that need repair, Craigs TV is the place to go!
Craig’s TV provides excellent service! I brought in an older model Samsung TV I use as my computer monitor as it suddenly didn’t power on anymore. Within a day they determined that it needed a power supply board, and I had them fix it. They had it fixed the same day they called me with the diagnosis. I was confident with them being able to fix it as they fix even projection TVs, and console stereos! Another guy I asked said he couldn’t even find parts so I brought it to Craig’s! Thank you Craig’s TV for your service, and if it breaks again guess where it’s going?? LOL
NOT SO SURE WHAT HAPPENED HERE.... I took my 12-year old 35in Samsung TV in for repair. It had 4 lines across the screen and double vision (only after 10-minutes it would clear up) the owner waved the checkout fee, it was a Friday afternoon and he said we would have it back in a few days meaning Monday. He called on Saturday morning and said $159.00. I told him to follow through with the repair he said, he had all of the replacement parts on hand to do the repair.. So around 1:15 on Saturday that same day I called just to double check if the Tv wouldnt be ready that same day and he said to pick it up by closing time, 2pm so we did. He took us to the back of the store to the work area the TV was already on and the color and the picture looked great. The TV looked just like it looked when we dropped it off, and no lines or double vision. Got the TV home hooked it up and it had the same problem 4-lines and double vision. So I got curious and switch my HDMI out puts around and the lines disappeared. I say again (NOT SO SURE WHAT HAPPENED HERE). Be carful with this place...BE SURE TO WEAR GLOVES AND A FACE COVERING, THE OWNER STILL LIKES TO SHAKE HANDS. Lesson learned....!!Update 8/25/2021I received a phone call from Craigs TV service this morning following this review and was asked to return my Samsung TV for a recheck and with-in 3-hours I was told that the first diagnosis was rushed and the TV was beyond repair and that the entire amount that I was charged would be refunded to me upon my arrival at the store. This was an excellent follow-up. I give Craigs TV service Hi marks for such a truth-full and honest follow-up.
**** UPDATED ****I stand by my initial review. Its 100% accurate. Owner only now is receptive since I gave a 3 star review (which ISNT bad, its just not excellent). No need to keep calling me. Im getting the TVs repaired at another local shop for less.Have a prosperous New Year.TomNot sure if this is standard procedure in the TV repair industry but I found it odd that I didnt get a written diagnostic report of some sort for the fee that I paid. Just a verbal its this and this. Just strange. I hope it is just this and this because I paid $80 for two TVs to be diagnosed. Fingers crossed. Other than that, turn-around time was very quick for the diagnosis and the quote for repair (which was really high IMO). The store was in a convenient location and clean. I also wish we could have agreed upon a new price for at least one of the TVs but nothing was discussed....just come get your TVs....theyre ready....thats it. No negotiating.....Again, Im not sure if this is the norm at all TV repair places....I just find it strange....therefore 3 stars.
Definitely won’t be going anywhere else if I have problems with my tv drove a hour out to these guys and they replaced my LED backlight definitely worth the drive if you want your equipment fixed right! 10/10
I had my Blu-ray player repaired here at Craigs. I can not say enough good things about the service. Louie helped me and he was great. He checked everything with the Blu-ray player to identify the problem. He got it working again and explained everything to me. Im very happy with this business. I will always go here for my electronics. Recommended!
No help and rude.My tv stopped turning on, it was stick on the tv brand logo screen. When it did this the remote or buttons on the tv did nothing. I would need to unplug it to turn it off. I did some research on my own, and what I found is I may have a bad capacitor, on my main board. I tried to order a new main board, but it is discontinued from the tv manufacture. I called Craigs tv service, and explained this to the man on the phone. Asked if they could fix my main board. I was told sure bring it in, we can replay capacitors. The drive from my house to Craigs is about 35 minuets so over an hour round trip. I take the main board, and power board out of my tv. I bring the boards in to the shop. The man behind the counter was the same person I talked to on the phone. I explained my issue a 2nd time. He barely looks at my boards, tells me noting is wrong with them. Tells me to update my firmware, as I try to ask a question he yells over me “NEXT” to help the next person in line. The next and only person in line was the window washer wanted to be paid, not even a customer.So I make my drive home, and check my firmware, and it is already at the highest level per the manufactures website. So I begin reaching out to other tv repair people, online in other states. The vary 1st person to respond to my email, tells me he is vary familiar with my TV. He goes on to say the research I did was not wrong, but my main board is different then other TVs made by the same manufacture. He explains there is a “chip” on the main board that goes bad. He continues and tells me he can not repair my board, and does not have a part to sell me. On his advise I fine a repair place that I can send my board to for repair.That is what I do, I mailed my main board out for repair. When it came back, I put the TV back together and look it works...If you cannot help, if you do not want to help, if you do know what it will take to fix an issue. DO NOT WAST MY TIME.If he had just said over the phone, I cannot help you, then I would not even be mad.
We couldnt be more pleased with Craigs TV repair. Our 3 yr old 55 Samsung suddenly died without any warning. They were able to repair it quickly and at a very reasonable price. Our TV works great and we didnt have to go out and buy a new one. We definitely recommend them.
Excellent!!! My vintage Pioneer SX-1250 Is working perfectly. The repair man was very nice, and very helpful. I have another vintage Yamaha Natural Sound that I will definitely be bringing in for repair also. Very noligable on vintage stereos!! Thank you Louie!!!

I own and operate a franchise business called Home Video Studio. I digitize numerous video tapes, films, slides photos to many digital formats. I have been in business for 10 years. I have many professional Video tape players. At times, my equipment require repairs. I was referred to Craigs TV shop thru Angies list. I have been a Customer of Craigs shop for many years! I need my equipment to function properly for my business. I would not trust my equipment to anyone else except Craigs TV Shop. They are very professional and experts of any piece of equipment I take to them. I have many different types of video equipment and have ALWAYS been very satisfied with their work! They are very helpful, friendly and reasonably priced. My franchise would have me send my equipment to their vendors but I will always utilize Craigs TV and Electronics!
I brought my 10 yr old 5 disc CD player in for service repair. Got a call within a few days on the cost. Follow up call a few days later that it was ready for pickup. The cost was reasonable considering the cost of a new one and the availability. Cash debit or credit card. 60 day warranty on parts and labor.
I have a 2016 MacBook Air and recently the battery stopped working and the charge would not hold. I took it to Apple and they were unable to fix the problem and told me I had to buy a brand new computer for almost $900! Luckily, I mentioned this to a friend and they recommended I go to Craigs TV to have it checked out. After dropping off the computer, I received a call the next day from Loui at the shop who was able to get the computer up and running. The battery was unplugged inside and they took care of the fix at no additional charge. Like my friend, I would recommend Craigs TV to anyone who wants quality honest service! Thanks again!
Friendly and helpful counter person. I Needed electronic repair of my kitchen aide mixer, but i didn’t want to ship something so heavy to the manufacturer for service. They Did the repair , plus Fixed my mixer even quicker than expected. Easy drop off and pick up times. Happy with result - would recommend
I have never had such wonderful service at an appliance service store in my life. Craigs TV went above and beyond what a normal appliance service store would do after trying four new circuit boards and finding that the television just could not be fixed I was refunded my money. no one goes above and beyond that type of service nowadays and I cannot thank them enough or give them enough accolades for the job they do
The bulb blew inside of my television and i could no longer see the picture. I called a repair shop that I dont care to name and they quoted me a ridiculously expensive price. So i called Craigs and inqired about service repair and he actually told me how to fix it myself !!! Omg I couldnt believe he helped me over the phone while he serviced another customer. He said that he carried the bulb and that I could pick it up today!!! It was such an easy fix, he installed the bulb in the hub compartment so that I could take it home to replace, and my wallet is satisfied. Needless to say now Im currently watching the game. Thanks Craigs!!
I work for a CNC machine shop in Ann Arbor, and the monitors for my old machines are like little small old style TVs, it was flickering and about to go out. So I called the machine manufacturer, and since no one makes them anymore, they wanted to sell me an LCD conversion kit for $2,800. So I looked around online for a TV repair shop, and found Craigs. I called him, and he said hed done a lot of work on CNC machine monitors, to my surprise. They fixed it for $350, saving me about $2,450 bucks. They had it done in maybe 2 days. Very professional, polite, knowledgeable, etc. I cant say enough good things about this business, Id recommend them to anyone.
My Christmas tree has a remote with different light settings that would not let me change the light settings.Craigs TV was able to fix the receiver and now I can change my light settings with the remote. Great staff.Very friendly. Highly recommended. 5 Star!
Rare to even find anyone who will work on CD players anymore. Craigs DOES work on all manner of electronic devices and welcomes vintage pieces. They work quickly and test the finished product for you when you come in to pick it up. Very impressed with their service.

Horrible place of business. Craig feels like he has experience, but thats because hes an ancient relic of the past time of CD players and VHS tapes. Anything invented after 2007 will most likely be confusing to Craig, leading to him babbling video tech terms to look knowledgeable. His business looks like its never even heard of a busy day, and all these 5 star reviews sound like Craigs friends doing him a favor. Pass on this tech dinosaur of a store.
After being told by Vizio and another TV repair place that my 55 Vizio TV was dead and could not be repaired - Craigs TV was able to repair it in the time they told me, and for a fair price. Am very thankful to have found them. Dont waste time with any other outfit other than Craigs TV

Took in my Kenwood CD player which wouldnt even power up. The whole experience was positive. Not only was it repaired, but it was done promptly and the employees were courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them!
I dropped off my TV to get repaired after a bad storm. He gave me an estimate right there on the spot, and after a couple of weeks my TV was fixed right around what was quoted. The repair was worth it and the service was great.

I just service with those guys couple times and first time everything was OK second time I got a call from the technician He is in his way to drop the TV home after they finish the repair and I told him I’m not home my wife is there she can open the door for you and I was surprise he asked her for help to carry the TV with him and she’s a pregnant in seven months I was not except this .....I was there when hi pick up the TV when he get inside he took his shoes off but this time because I was not there he just went without shoe covers our taking shoes off.....Asking pregnant woman to help carry TV WOW I don’t think I will continue with this company

2022-04-18Incredible service! Friendly to deal with. They came out to fix my 85” Samsung under warranty. They called me and I explain the issues and they ordered parts right away. They got them next day and were out to install them the day after. Can’t believe how fast they got me up and running. I highly recommend.

2022-06-18I have a Panasonic cd, radio, and MP3 player combo that needed work. Everything worked except the CD player. I took it to Craigs T.V. expecting to hear what I was told at another repair shop, cant fix it. I was so pleased to get a call less than a week later that it was ready to go. And it works! High praises to Craigs T.V. Service!

2022-04-27We took in our broken DVD/VCR that everyone said I should throw out and they were able to fix it! Here is the thing, Craigs TV service did just what they said they would and we all know how rare that is these days. DONT get rid of your old electronics, let Craigs TV service bring them back to life!

2021-07-29Craig’s TV is definitely the place to go if you need help repairs with your television. They are very professional, prompt, courteous and there is little doubt in my mind that you will have the exact same experience that I have had. They came to my home and picked up my TV promptly and with great care. The same day they were able to diagnose and come up with a resolution. A-1 customer service and communication. If you need television repairs use them, you will not be disappointed.

2021-07-25I was very pleased with the service that I received at Craigs TV and Electronics. I brought in two CD changer/players and an Optimus receiver. These components were more than 20 years old and needed servicing. The technician was honest and forthright with me in explaining that the CD changers may not be repairable because the only available replacement lasers are made only in China and are not reliable. I appreciated that I was told this ahead of time. Nevertheless, I had all three checked out and the one CD player turned out fine and the other player (though it has a weak laser) continues to play well, too. The receiver was cleaned up and repaired very nicely - no static in the potentiometers and the gains were sweep adjusted well. Two things that a customer should be aware of is that checks are not accepted and a small service fee is added when using a credit card. I do not hold this against this business as they are trying to protect themselves of fraud which is common in this line of work. In spite of that, this is a very good and honest electronic repair shop that I highly recommend. When necessary, I plan on taking my audio equipment to them in the future. - Thank you!

2022-03-24Stick to TV repair dont touch vintage gear, especially turntables, just replacing parts isnt the way you go about it. After your so called repairs, which made no improvement, after a real experience tech simply identified the issue with no charge, again just stick to TVs, and leave the vintage gear to the experts who know how to test equipment not just changing parts to rack up aObviously if the repair had been made never would have said a word, but I felt obligated to share this experience with hobbiest alike who value there equipment as I do.bill.

2021-09-05Stopped by Craigs TV to have them look at my combo TV/DVD. Got a call the next day identifying the issue along with the repair cost. The cost was fair & I gave Louie the authorization to proceed.Suprisingly, I got a call the next morning that my TV was ready. I went to the shop to pick up my TV & was taken into the work area to see my TV on the service counter up & running. Now that shows pride in workmanship!After payng my bill, Louie was kind enough to load the TV into my car. What personalized service!I strongly recommend Craigs TV repair service for your electronic repairs.

2021-06-18We have been going to Craigs TV Service for many years and they have never disappointed us. Most recently we had a problem with the back light unit in our LG TV and they did a great job repairing it to like new condition. They diagnosed the problem quickly, called with an estimate, ordered the parts and made the repair all within a few days. I would recommend them to anyone with a sick TV, computer or other electronic device in need of repair.
