APPLE USERS BEWARE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND CRASHMASTERS! A couple months into owning my Apple 13 Pro Max, I broke my back glass to my phone. They called me in twice to have it repaired. The first time the tech wasnt in because she didnt work that day. The second time they didnt even have the part. Finally got it repaired the third time. Fast forward 5 months later and now my phone isnt recognizing my battery. It says its not a genuine apple part. COINCIDENCE? I dont think so. So I call them to ask them if its covered under their lifetime warranty. I got lectured about how batteries just go bad. Huge waste of time and money! Just spend the money to have Apple or your provider fix it!UPDATE: Under closer inspection, when you shake the phone, You can feel something inside moving. It feels like the battery came unglued. But I guess according to Crashmasters, thats MY FAULT.
Yesterday my phone was acting up. I tried the things I thought might work restart check my settings etc...pretty frustrating. Brought my laptop in almost 2 mos ago, they formatted and put on windows, the network adapter is now trashed. I fear it will be a waste of time to bring it back in. I am now just looking to buy a new one. So the money I put out is wasted on nothing. I am sure they would try to sell me new hardware if I bring it in.

They have many attempts to blindly comment on reviews that every customer has the RIGHT TO POST.I did in fact call their apple location and was pleasant with the worker. I tried to make things right and all they care about is their reputation that they put no effort into upholding. Continue to debate this all you want. I have all the time in the world.-BE WARNED that any damage to the screen protector or screen itself isn’t covered if they break. Nice way of round about saying there is no actual warranty on what they fix.You can defend yourself all you want. You make it seem as though I’m out to hurt your company. You fixed my phone in a timely manner and that is very important.My issue is with your claim of warranty. You are a very misleading company and seem to have no issues with charging a lot of money for a screen repair with no sort of opportunity to make the situation right if someone does in fact have an issue with a screen or screen protector. You showed me a flimsy screen protector that broke and claimed your screen protectors were not as flimsy and I can in fact confirm that they are.I will not deny that I didn’t read through the long list of information you gave me at the time of repair.I just think you would be better off being totally honest to customers.No, thank you.I would like to also state that I did contact you and told you that my screen protector broke. You told me I’d have to buy a new one at full price. I then asked what would’ve happened if my screen broke. You said I would’ve had to “unfortunately” pay full price.Considering it took me to leave multiple updated reviews on my situation before this could be made right, no thank you on your 50% off discount. $250 hit my wallet hard and I would rather not contribute any further to a company that thinks it’s professional to debate a customers issues on a local website then make it right in the first place.

These guys are great! My fella and I brought in a cpu yesterday with bent pins and Justin was very personable and professional! He had all the pins straightened within a few hours and even helped us install it! My brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max decided to lock up the screen and make it untouchable! Couldn’t even turn it off or volume off. Verizon couldn’t fix it and sent me to CrashMasters… thinking I needed to order a new phone.. ended up just being a glitch in the software and they fixed it for free! Super awesome! Super nice! They not only took care of my girlfriends phone and made it have a complete brand new off the shelve feel to it, but they actually communicate in detail and precision. Not only did they take care of the phone, but they managed to keep me interested in the business that they run. Not often do I feel good about people taking my money, but if I needed to get something fixed again they’ll be the first ones to see my wallet open.

I dropped my phone off for a couple days to fix my screen and camera. That was about 5 months ago and I haven’t had any problems at all with my camera. Recommend my friend to drop his phone off there so they could fix it and he did. 10/10 definitely going back for future repairs
Very fast turn around, was able to diagnose the problem quickly and give a quote very accurately.
Update: took old review off after request of supervisor. Spoke with the supervisor, after some hiccups. Supervisor, seemed more inclined to help and offer more insight and excellent communications about the condition. Supervisor offered to try and make things right, I took the offer. Will update this completely once the service is completed.Final update, after the first review was posted online. The supervisor reached out. His attitude was a complete 180. I had addressed my issues, mainly with communication from what I was told from other employees. 10 days later (or 8 business days) the phone was returned to me. The supervisor gave me a HEAVY discount. The majority of the problems were resolved and the main reason I came in was completed. The work on the phone itself was completed and the work done was satisfactory.However, all in all. The lack of proper communication between customers and the employees or even between themselves is atrocious. I did appreciate the heavy discount, the work was satisfactory. But the overall headache of dealing with this location was not worth the pain. There are a few quality electronic repair shops in grand rapids. Its worth the drive.

Had my Xbox one X hard drive fail apparently this is a common issue. Took it in and they gave me a two day window of when I would get called. They called when they said and I picked it up after work no issues. I have yet to test it but the professionalism they showed does not make me question if it works. Very Please as this is the first electronic repair I’ve had to do. Would recommended.

I had a cracked screen on my phone and needed it repaired. I called Crashmasters and was given a price so we brought the phone in. The new screen had to be ordered, trip #1. I was told that they would call and/or email me when the screen came in. We received neither.After a week I called them and was told it was in. We took the phone in to be fixed, trip #2, only to be told that only Joe could work on Samsung phones, and of course, Joe wasnt in. We drive from Fremont so this is getting frustrating.We were initially told that the repair would take about 45 minutes. When we dropped the phone off Wednesday, trip #3, we were told an hour so we went shopping. We went back and were told they needed more time. So again, we left and drove around. We did this three times before I finally asked for my phone. I was charged $231 for the repair, and asked if Id like to leave a tip. HA!! My phone didnt work when we left, I couldnt make/take phone calls and I couldnt text. And the new screen has a blemish in it!!I took the phone to T-Mobile and they said that the antennas werent hooked back up.We brought the phone back to Crashmasters, trip #4, and were again told that Joe wasnt in and that it would take 2-3 hours to repair.We took the phone to another repair shop up the road and the phone was fixed within minutes!!!Crashmasters is one excuse after another and they seem like they have a chip on the shoulder. I would like my money back for the botched repair but I know it will never happen!Terrible customer service!!

What phone repairman do you know that gets you in asap, fixes your phone SAME DAY, FINDS A DIFFERENT PROBLEM AND FIXES THE NEW PROBLEM WITHOUT EVEN WORRYING ABOUT HOW BUSY THE STORE WAS. It was busy yet he still fixed my phone in an hour, held conversation, explained the reasoning the phone could have wore out and how to prevent it. He gained a customer for life. Amazing service.

Great experience at the Apple Ave location. The price to put a battery into an old iPhone 6s+ to passed down was super cheap! I dropped it off expecting to pick it up in a couple of days, I drove home and within 15-20 mins my phone rang saying it was done! Less than an hour! So I didnt know what iPhone I had apparently (a silly but explainable mistake), but they did. Needed to get the front glass repaired on an iPhone that I just got. They had it done later the same day. Great company, I bring everything I cant fix to them.
CrashMasters on Apple Avenue did an AMAZING job fixing my old iphone 10SPlus. The entire back side had been crushed and falling apart for over a year and the screen looked like a rainbow and would not work at all before we brought it in. This place is absolutely horrible. Completely ruined my phone. Emailed me to talk trash about my fiance an told me theyd only fix my phone if my fiance took down her bad review. Very rude. I already know they gonna lie an say they did nothing of the sort but I got screenshots of all the emails if yall would.like to see. I have to use an entire different phone because mine no longer works shuts off all the time. Also cant take calls an my screen barley registers anything I do.

Bree, was great. She gave me the price to replace a broken screen on my S7 Tablet, because the tablet is the newest version, she indicated thats why the cost was high. She didnt hesitate to give me guidance to call Samsung to replace my screen on my new S7 tablet I will defiantly use them for any future repairs.

Dropped my iPhone down a mountain while hiking in Arizona. Needless to say, I thought all hope was lost for fixing it. Brought it in, and they completely fixed my phone. It looks and operates like it didnt take a 100 plus foot drop! They out did every expectation I had and gave me an extremely fair price. Ive already scheduled an appointment for them to fix my mac book. Would recommended to EVERYONE! High quality customer service and extremely fair prices!
They got my screen fixed, but it took a long time and they first ordered the wrong screen making it take even longer. Then they lost one of the little rubber stoppers between the screen and computer, and did not offer an apology let alone a discount. Still 4 stars because they did good work. Just dont expect excellent customer service.

They are more than capable of of repairing you pc, phone or even data recovery and Web Site Design.First time I was in here was to have a new screen protector that I had heard they had put on my sons phone, that was a few months back. Since then I have noticed how well it has held up. A couple weeks back I receive my pre-ordered s10+ and instantly took it there and had the front and back done. Upon picking it up it looked great and stated to talk about computers and one that I had just purchased from Best Buy a few months back. I currently have a pc that is about 4 months old, but have not been real happy with overall performance and after talking with Crashmasters I am going to have them build one for us.

I’ve been going to Crashmaster’s for a number of years. I’ve bought numerous laptops from them for myself, family members and even some friends. Plus I’ve bought a desktop computer or two as well. They do all my service work and I’ve been 100% satisfied with the pricing for both that as well as new equipment and parts. If my phone ever needs repair that’s the first place I will be headed.
Had my laptop for almost 3 weeks. Finally called them, took them searching to find my laptop. They claim they called me once about the laptop, a call I never received. Was told what was wrong, told them they could fix it. They said it should be done the next day. Next day never got a call. Two days after my first call, I call back. Was told the laptop was done and someone called me the day before. Another call I never received.Edit: The owner response completely ignores the phone calls they claim were made that were not. Had they been, the work couldve been completed at least a week ago, maybe more.

They had my computer for almost 2 months and didnt do a thing to it. Their excuse was they didnt have the right password. Could have called and told me, tried to get a new password, by pass the password or simply just wrote it down right the first time and verified. But nothing! Just let it sit for almost 2 months. No apology or anything. Never again.
I brought in my laptop with the parts needed to fix it, and they had it ready for me the next day! They were never irritated with me, and made my laptop a priority (I felt like, anyways) because I had told them about waiting so long at another place. Even when I was dropping off my laptop, another person was there picking up theirs. Their business location is clean and organized, and the staff is beyond friendly!

I dropped my laptop off a week before back to school (a super busy week I know but I have two high schoolers and summer went by sooo fast) and they said it would be 5 days before it was ready because they were very busy and gave me a very fair quote for repair and offered a faster option for a fee (which I declined knowing that other people could pay the fee and potentially make my wait a little longer). On the 5th day I called and they said it was not ready but they would be sure to have it ready the next day. The next day after work I went to pick it up and not only was it ready but it was half the cost of the quote. This was the second time I had used their services and both times I was very impressed at their professionalism and knowledge base.

My laptop was falling to pieces (literally) because of the manufacturers poor implementations of its infrastructure to the point it had become little more than a paperweight. Im a computer guy myself but this issue was beyond my own expertise, so I brought it to CrashMasters in hopes they could find the parts needed for repair - since it was an older model, making it that much harder.The service rendered by this small shop was far above what Id initially expected. They continued to communicate with me every step of the way until reaching the resolution, where I was pleased to find they didnt charge me an arm and a leg for the fix. Definitely planning to continue doing business with CrashMasters should I ever need to again.

When spending $500 to get my screen repaired I’d assume my phone would be returned working the way it was. Now many features on my phone screen won’t register, along with some how my calls now don’t work either. Wouldn’t recommend.
Crashmasters has fixed several devices from iPads to iPhones to laptops for me. Everything has been quality work with great customer service. I have probably sent over 20 people there to get items repaired and they too have been very happy with their repairs.
I had a business computer crash and Joe was quick to respond to my request for service. He first tried to trouble shoot it without having to take the computer. Unfortunately that was not successful as it was more complex. I brought it in, he diagnosed it, repaired it and returned it. Their prices are fair, service was speedy, and he had above and beyond customer service etiquette. I send other people there often.

I bought a screen protector and was assured that it would have a warranty against cracking, but then when it did crack they would not replace it. I feel like I was missed lead. I will not recommend them.

I brought my computer in to have it cleaned up, they called me a couple days later telling me that the cleanup was done but suggested that I have their advanced cleanup package done to speed it up even more. When i got it home I was more than pleased, my computer was quicker than it ever was before and was squeaky clean inside and out. Made me think I got a whole new computer!!!!
Stopped in just to have them give me an idea what might be wrong with a charge port, found a piece of plastic in it, fixed it, but also informed me that the port is getting loose and would likely need repair in the future, never pressured me into anything and didnt charge me a dime. I had my computer brought in, they gave me an estimate when it would be finished and to my surprise it was done early. I have come to Crashmasters on Apple Avenue at least twice to have my Windows 10 Home Edition Operating System Reinstalled because I accidentally erased it from my laptop. The repairs are done with friendliness and integrity and the prices are more than affordable and reasonable, if I need any future repairs, this will be the location that I will patronize because it is not that far from where I live.

My parents have been using Crashmasters for a few years but I decided that I wanted to finally purchase a desktop for my home. Instead of going to the generic best buy store in town, I decided to use someone LOCAL and couldnt be any happier. I have a way better desktop for a way better price than anyone in town could offer!

Having gone to crashmasters on several occasions, I can without a doubt say, this is the premier spot for all youre electronic repair needs. Ive been coming here for repairs doe years.This last time, I was leaving the next day on a business trip, and I dropped my note 8. Crashmasters overnighted a new screen, and rushed the service on itNot only did I make my flight, I got all that, CHEAPER, then the competitions 2-3 day serviceTheres no reason to go anywhere else.

I had been staring at a broken screen for months because I didnt want to pay what some of the other repair places were asking. Greatly surprised of the fair cost and really appreciated the fact I was able to get it fixed in 15 minutes on a Sunday!
Power supply & 8gig of USED ddr2 ram was $140.00. NO WARRANTY ON ANYTHING I HAVE INSTALLED (NOT THERE). IM SURE THEYRE GREAT GUYS. I WONT RECCOMMEND OR GO BACK! Its a shame to know that another small business will be eaten up by big box stores, their prices are way too high!

I guess Im kind of lucky. The owner of the store and I were in college together, had some of the same classes, and worked on a SQL Database project together around the time he had just started the place.Anyways, great bunch of people, great work, and low prices.

2022-09-14Absolutely the worst nightmare Ive ever faced with customer service. They repeatedly told me they would fix my phone, but they would never have it even started when I showed up to retrieve it. This happened FIVE TIMES IN A ROW!! I live 45m away... this is unacceptable. When you tell someone youll have the phone fixed by tuesday at 9am, you shouldnt look at them dumbfounded when they show up at 2pm and then tell them they can call the guy in to start to look at your phone, but he wont make it for two hours.Each time they tried to play it off like its not their fault, but each time they promised up and down they would for sure have it done by a certain date and time, only to have failed to even look at it by that time. I even called ahead to confirm they had it done, and they still assured me they would take care of it immediately, only to have not even started when I showed up three days later.I would rate them -5 stars is possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This place cost me more in gas money than the phone was worth, and a dozen hours of driving for squat. I wish I had grounds to sue.

2022-09-06They were a life saver! I am a small business owner and am on the road a lot. My phone (IPhone Xs) is very important to my business. So when it was dropped and screen spider webbed, I needed it fixed fast. They were the closest to me, so I went in and they had it fixed in 20 min. I did not know of them before today, but with this service they have a customer for life. They had my back and kept my business going.

2022-07-20I am beyond thrilled with Crash Masters on Sherman. I had purchased a new computer. In the process of moving documents from the old to new computer, I contaminated my Family Tree/Genealogy files. Lots of things I did wrong, but Crash Masters was able to go back and retrieve the original files. Over 30 years of work saved. I’m so happy I could cry. There cost was reasonable, and to be honest I would have paid a lot more to get those file back.

2022-09-12Thought I had a charging port problem. Phone wouldn’t charge had to play with the charger cord. Took the phone in five minutes later everything is fixed. Very knowledgeable very friendly staff saved me $100. You guys are awesome

2022-08-17Bre and other staff were more than happy in bringing my iphone back to life. From fixing the water damage, cracked camera lens, and whatever other internal parts they replaced, everything was done to get the phone back to new again. Very happy with the service they provide and will definitely go back with future tech issues.

2022-06-15I needed a screen repair for my Samsung Galaxy A12 done same day, everywhere else would have needed to order the screen (older phone makes sense not in stock) however I use my phone for work duties and could not wait. Crashmasters had a screen in stock and fixed my phone up good with a new frame included. Friendly service and my phone looks awesome. Thank you again crashmasters.
